This paper covers the performance testing for layer 3 Ethernet switch based on various methodologies by which we can measure essential metrics such as throughput, latency, frame loss rate, and back to back frames. In the first place, layer 2 and layer 3 switch evolution is introduced followed by description of IP packet switching in layer 3 switch. And then, the above test metrics and test methodologies are illustrated as well. At last, we conduct the performance testing for layer 3 switch in case of transmitting packets of 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 1280, and 1518 byte size and analyze then results.

Observing that for any P'-space X, ${\Lambda}vX$ is a P'-space if vX is a weakly Lindel$\ddot{o}$f space, (${\Lambda}vX{\times}{\Lambda}Y$, ${\Lambda}_X{\times}{\Lambda}_Y$) is the minimal basically disconnected cover of $X{\times}Y$ for a countably locally weakly Lindel$\ddot{o}$f space Y.

Observing that for any $\beta_c$-Wallman functor $A$ and any Tychonoff space X, there is a cover $(C_1(A(X), X), c_1)$ of X such that X is $A$-disconnected if and only if $c_1 : C_1(A(X), X) \longrightarrow X$ is a homeomorphism, we show that every Tychonoff space has the minimal $A$-disconnected cover. We also show that if X is weakly Lindelof or locally compact zero-dimensional space, then the minimal G-disconnected (equivalently, cloz)-cover is given by the space $C_1(A(X), X)$ which is a dense subspace of $E_cc(\betaX)$.

This review covers current developments in molecular-based studies of the structure and function of carboxylesterases. To allay the confusion of the classic classification of carboxylesterase isozymes, we have proposed a novel nomenclature and classification of mammalian carboxylesterases on the basis of molecular properties. In addition, mechanisms of regulation of gene expression of carboxylesterases by xenobiotics, and involvement of carboxylesterase in drug metabolism are also described.

A general procedure to implement the sensitivity analysis of PSC flexural members is proposed based on the analytical calculation of the gradients of stresses and strains with respect to the 21 design variables in a closed format. The formulation covers the long term losses including concrete creep, shrinkage, and PS steel relaxation as well as load effects. The derived formulation is applied to the rectangular section PSC beam with prestressing and nonprestressing steels for the sensitivity analysis. The analytically calculated sensitivity results are compared with those numerically calculated.

Observing that each Tychonoff space X has the minimal basically disconnected cover (ΛX, Λ$\sub$X/) and the .realcompact-ification $\upsilon$X, we introduce a concept of stable $\sigma$Z(X)#-ultrafilters and give internal characterizations of Tychonoff spaces X for which Λ($\upsilon$X) : $\upsilon$(ΛX).

This paper describes that the leaf spring damper (LSD) developed by authors can be controled by side clearance between side covers and leaf springs. The test rig and two prototype dampers with different side clearance were manufactured. Experiments were performed to investigate the effects of side clearance on the damping of the leaf spring damper. The stiffness and damping coefficients are obtained from the displacements and the reaction forces generated by rotating the eccentric shaft. All dynamic coefficients are plotted with the excitation frequency which is adjusted by rotating speed of the shaft.

To get the knowledge of land uses for watersheds, Thematic Mapper image from Landsat 5 satellite was used. The image was classified into land covers/uses by maximum likelihood classification technique. Land uses from the satellite image in this study was compared with those from the topographical map in previous. It was found that Land uses from the satellite image had a good reflection of real situations and more advantage in the reduction of time and cost.
