This study focused on the validity of Imago couple therapy's contents and the effects of application of the Imago couple therapy model. The participated subjects were 38 graduate students and their spouses. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, the types of couple relations that formed and sustained marital relations after growth could be predicted by the early childhood relationships between the subjects when they were children and their parents. Second, the marital conflicts and frustrations could be healed by the 'parent-child dialogue' and 'guided imagery'. Third, Imago couple therapy was effective for couple counseling to improve the areas of marital relationships, especially marital intimacy, marital communication, communication skills for marital conflicts, mutual respect, gender role, sexual satisfaction, time together, and decision-making. Fourth, Couple's Dialogue was a powerful tool for couple and parent-child relationships as well as general counseling practices.

This study aimed to investigate couple relationship and related variables of women immigrants. Especially, the study focused on curve term between couple relationship and related variables. The data were collected from a sample of 346 women immigrants living in S city, Chungnam province. First, the study indicated that there was some curve relationship between couple satisfaction and period of residence in Korea. Namely, the couple satisfaction of women immigrants was likely to decrease at the early period of residence, but the longer the period of residence was, the higher the couple satisfaction was. Second, the result revealed that there was no significant relationship between couple satisfaction and level of Korean proficiency. Third, there was some curve relationship between couple satisfaction and satisfaction of life. The couple satisfaction was likely to increase in a shape of curve according to the increase of life satisfaction.

This study investigates the relationships amongst couple conflict, forgiveness, depression, and anxiety according to gender. This study also examined whether forgiveness has a moderating effect on the relationship among couple conflict, depression, and anxiety according to gender. The sample consisted of 263 parents of high school students. The couples reported their level in the Couple Conflict Inventory, Enright Forgiveness Inventory, Beck Depression Inventory, and Personality Assessment Inventory. The findings are as follows: 1) Anxiety only significantly differed between husband and wife. 2) Couple conflict positively related to husband and wife depression and anxiety. Forgiveness is negatively related to couple conflict, anxiety, and depression between husband and wife. 3) The moderating effects of forgiveness within couple conflict and depression only showed with the wife. 4) The moderating effect of forgiveness between couple conflict and anxiety was only displayed by the husband. The findings of this study indicate that forgiveness could function as a protective factor for couples who perceive couple conflict, depression, and anxiety. These results suggest implications for couple conflict education and couple counseling according to gender.

In this study, we propose a novel fabrication of an oxide-based lateral thermoelectric pn couple and investigate the characteristics of the thermoelectric couple. Electrospun ZnO and $LaSrCoO_3$ nanofibers are used as n- and p-legs of the couple, respectively. The Seebeck coefficients of the n- and p-type nanofibers and the pn couple are $-98.1{\mu}V/K$, $42.4{\mu}V/K$, and $118.8{\mu}V/K$, respectively. The thermoelectric couple generates an output voltage of $484.7{\mu}V$ at a temperature difference of 4.1 K.

The objective of this research is to examine psychological desires of college students who attempt to express themselves by wearing so called 'couple look' attire, which is a dressing habit that represents responses to various psychologies and the society. Moreover, the message that is trying to be conveyed to others by dressing as such and the question of whether that message is being conveyed, are subject to analysis by applying linguistic classification theory pertaining to this specific term. After a pre-examination based on a through interview conducted with 70 male and female college student, the main examination was based on question and answering methods on 450 male and female college students for data collection. The results were compared, reviewed and analyzed by applying Geoffrey Leech's meaning segmentation theory on linguistics, and was aimed at defining through research how meaning segmentation represented through languages can be applied in expressing one's self through clothing. The research results are as follows. 1. The psychological desires of wearing couple look attire are to express that they like and love each other, are dating, and to showcase their intimacy. 2. Clothing attire that are appropriate to express the couple look are T-shirts, jeans, pants, sweaters, mufflers, and accessories such as tennis shoes, hats, shoes, bags, rings, watches, ear-rings, etc. 3. Amongst people who have tried the couple look and those who have not, those who have said that they were willing to dress in couple look are mostly experienced in dressing so.

The purpose of this study was to examine the health care expenditure of elderly single and elderly couple households whose head is more than 60 years old. The data analyzed for the study were Korean Retirement and Income Study(KRelS) conducted in 2007 by National Pension Corporation. The major finding of this study were as follows: First, the amount of health care expenditure of elderly single households was lower than that of elderly couple households. However, ratio of health care expenditure to total consumption expenditure of elderly single households was larger than that of elderly couple households. Second, the ratio of health care expenditure in consumption expenditure in this study was larger than the ratios in past analyse showed in the previous studies. Third, common factor affecting on health care expenditure of elderly single and elderly couple households was the existence of the family member with chronic disease or handicap. The health care expenditure of elderly singer households was influenced by income, gender and the ownership of national health insurance. The influence of income for elderly singer households seemed to be greater than for elderly couple households. The variables which affected health care expenditure of elderly couple households were age and housing tenure status. The amount and ratio health care expenditure were increased as the age increases. These results show that the health care expenditures for each groups varied according to socio-demographic variables and health-related behavior variables. It is suggested that there should be a discriminative health care policy for each elderly single and elderly couple households. In addition, the health care policy for the elderly households of which member has a chronic disease is certainly necessary. Especially a health care plan for the elderly single households with lower income is in need. For the elderly couple households, the priority group of health care policy would be the high age group.

본 연구는 기혼 중년남녀의 성적친밀감과 결혼만족도의 관계에서 부부간 의사소통(듣기와 말하기)의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울, 경기지역의 만 40세 이상의 기혼 중년남녀 370명을 대상으로 오프라인 및 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성적친밀감과 결혼만족도와 의사소통 중 말하기는 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 부부 의사소통의 말하기와 듣기는 결혼만족도와 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것을 나타났다. 둘째, 성적친밀감은 결혼만족도를 유의미하게 예측하였다. 셋째, 부부 의사소통 중 말하기와 듣기는 결혼만족도를 유의미하게 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 성적친밀감과 결혼만족도의 관계에서 부부 의사소통 중 말하기의 조절효과는 나타나지 않았다. 성적친밀감과 결혼만족도의 관계에서 부부 의사소통 중 듣기는 조절효과를 나타냈다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통해 기혼 중년남녀의 부부 상담과 부부 상담프로그램에서 성적친밀감과 조절변인인 듣기의 잠재적인 사용에 대한 개입의 필요성을 논의하였다.

This study examined the characteristics of the steady date and the influences of family of origin factors and anxiety on the romantic relationship among the unmarried men of early adulthood. Ninety men dating for more than 2 months responded the questionnaire regarding differentiation of family of origin, parents' marital intimacy, trait anxiety, couple intimacy, couple individuation, and the demographic questions. Using SPSS Win 10.0, ANOVA and regression were conducted. The results found that: 1)‘methods of introduction’ ‘frequency of dating per week’ and ‘military duty’ were significantly related to the couple intimacy; 2) the men's age was negatively related to the couple intimacy and positively related to the couple individuation; 3) differentiation of family of origin affected men's anxiety which in turn affected the couple intimacy. In couclusion, summary and the implication of this study were discussed.

The purpose of this research to improve old age for marriage and the effect the development of the program is to validate. This program of eight to 60 years old elderly couple in 2008 was 8 in the 10 weeks. To verify the effectiveness of the program prior to the inspection of post-verification. According to the results of analysis, old age in conjugal relations, the area between the pre-post meaningful communication efficiency, the couple agreed, and the couple satisfaction, couple came to feel affection, and expression did not show a meaningful difference. The study on the future social welfare and family welfare-related practices and more effective old age, researchers developed a program to improve the couple relationship is important to emphasize is this.

The objective of this paper is to study the two dimensional deformation in transversely isotropic thermoelastic medium without energy dissipation due to time harmonic sources using new modified couple stress theory, a continuum theory capable to predict the size effects at micro/nano scale. The couple stress constitutive relationships have been introduced for transversely isotropic thermoelastic medium, in which the curvature tensor is asymmetric and the couple stress moment tensor is symmetric. Fourier transform technique is applied to obtain the solutions of the governing equations. Assuming the deformation to be harmonically time-dependent, the transformed solution is obtained in the frequency domain. The application of a time harmonic concentrated and distributed sources have been considered to show the utility of the solution obtained. The displacement components, stress components, temperature change and couple stress are obtained in the transformed domain. A numerical inversion technique has been used to obtain the solutions in the physical domain. The effects of angular frequency are depicted graphically on the resulted quantities.
