소결 온도에 따른 비납계 NKN-BNT-BT 세라믹의 전기적, 구조적 특성

  • In this study, both structural, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of the NKN-0.96BNT-0.04BT ceramics were investigated. All samples of the NKN-0.96BNT-0.04BT ceramics were fabricated by conventional mixed oxide method with Pt electrodes. We report the improved dielectric and piezoelectric properties in the perovskite structure composed of the NKN, BNT and the BT ceramics. We investigated the effects of NKN, BT on the structural and electrical properties of the NKN-0.93BNT-0.07BT ceramics. The dielectric properties and piezoelectric properties of the NKN-0.93BNT-0.07BT ceramics were superior to those of single composition NKN, NKN-BNT and those values for the NKN-0.93BNT-0.07BT ceramics were 861 and 1.12%.

  • In this study, in order to develop excellent lead-free composition ceramics for piezoelectric transformer, $(K_{5.4}Cu_{1.3}Ta_{10}O_{29})$ added $(K_{0.5}Na_{0.5}](Nb_{0.97}Sb_{0.03})O_3$ were fabricated using conventional mixed oxide method. At the 0.9mol% KCT added specimen, electromechanical coupling factor(kp) and mechanical quality factor ($Q_m$) showed the optimal values of 0.437 and 727.07, respectively, for piezoelectric transformer application.

Low temperature deposition of carbon nanofilaments using vacuum-sublimated $Fe(CO)_5$ catalyst with thermal chemical vapor deposition

  • Carbon nanofilaments were deposited on silicon oxide substrate by thermal chemical vapor deposition method. We used $Fe(CO)_5$ as the catalyst for the carbon nanofilaments formation. Around $800^{\circ}C$ substrate temperature, the formation density of carbon nanofilaments could be enhanced by the vacuum sublimation technique of $Fe(CO)_5$, compared with the conventional spin coating technique. Finally, we could achieve the low temperature, as low as $350^{\circ}C$, formation of carbon nanofilaments using the sublimated Fe-complex nanograins with thermal chemical vapor deposition. Detailed morphologies and characteristics of the carbon nanofilaments were investigated. Based on these results, the role of the vacuum sublimation technique for the low temperature deposition of carbon nanofilaments was discussed.

  • Apatite-lanthanum silicate has attracted considerable interest in recent years due to its high oxide ion conductivity, In this paper, Bi-doped samples $La_8Bi_2(SiO_4)_6O_3$ were prepared by conventional solid-state method and the influences of Bi-dopant content on calcining temperature were reported. The Samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron micrograph (SEM) and impedance analysis.

  • In this study, NKN-LST ceramics were prepared by a conventional mixed oxide method and their structure and piezoelectric properties were investigated with the variations of sintering temperature. It was observed that the various sintering temperatures influenced the electrical properties and structural properties of the NKN-LST ceramics. It was found that the piezoelectric properties of NKN-LST ceramic sintered at $1080^{\circ}C$ for 4h has a piezoelectric constant and a planar electromechanical coupling coefficient of 161pC/N and 0.311% respectively. This ceramics look very promising as possible, practicable, lead-free replacements for lead zirconate titanate.

  • The $Ba(Zn_{1/3}Ta_{2/3})O_3$ ceramics were prepared by conventional mixed oxide method. The structural properties of the BZT ceramics with the sintering temperature were investigated by XRD, SEM. The BZT ceramics have a complex-perovskite structure. The BZT ceramics sintered at $1550^{\circ}C$ had a superstructure plane of BZT(100). Increasing the sintering temperature, the bulk density and ordering were increased. The bulk density of the BZT ceramics sintered at $1550^{\circ}C$ was $7.50[g/cm^3]$. Increasing the sintering temperature, the average grain size were increased and pore were decreased.

  • $Ba(Mg_{(1-x)}Co_x)_{1/3}(Ta_{(1-x)}Nb_x)_{2/3}O_3$ ($x=0.3{\sim}0.6$) ceramics were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method. The sintering temperature and time were of $1400{\sim}1575[^{\circ}C]$,5[hr.] respectively. The structural and microwave dielectric Properties were investigated with composition ratio and sintering temperature. And then the application for the microwave dielectric resonator was investigated.

BZCT 세라믹의 마이크로파 특성에 관한 연구 (Microwave Dielectric Properties of BZCT Ceramics)

  • Ba(Zn$_1$-xCox)TaO$_3$[BZCT] ceramics were Prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method. The ceramics were sintered at the temperature of 1450∼1550$\^{C}$ for 5 hr in air. The crystal structure of BZCT ceramics was investigated by the XRD. The microstructure of the specimens were observed by SEM. The structural properties of BZCT specimens were investigated as a function of composition and sintering temperature. All BZCT ceramics sintered over 1550$\^{C}$ were showed a polycrystalline complek perovskite structure without second phases and any unreacted materials. The density of BZCT (70/30) specimen sintered at 1550$\^{C}$ was 6.31g/㎤. In the case of the BZCT(70/30) ceramics sintered at 1550$\^{C}$ for 5 hours, dielectric constant, qualify factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency for microwave dielectrics application were a good value of 29, 16,468 at 10㎓ and -4.4 ppm/$\^{C}$, respectively.

Post-Linearization of Differential CMOS Low Noise Amplifier Using Cross-Coupled FETs

  • A post-linearization technique for the differrential CMOS LNA is presented. The proposed method uses an additional cross-coupled common-source FET pair to cancel out the third-order intermodulation ($IM_3$) current of the main differential amplifier. This technique is applied to enhance the linearity of CMOS LNA using $0.18-{\mu}m$ technology. The LNA achieved +10.2 dBm IIP3 with 13.7 dB gain and 1.68 dB NF at 2 GHz consuming 11.8 mA from a 1.8-V supply. It shows IIP3 improvement by 6.6 dB over the conventional cascode LNA without the linearizing circuit.

분극조건에 따른 무연 $NaKNbO_3$ 세라믹스의 압전 및 유전 특성 (Piezoelectric and Dielectric Characteristics of $NaKNbO_3$ ceramics according to the poling condition)

  • In this study, in order to develop Pb-free piezoelectric ceramics, $[Li_{0.04}(Na_{0.44}K_{0.52)-(Nb_{0.86}Ta_{0.10}Sb_{0.04})]O_3$ ceramics were fabricated by conventional mixed oxide method and their piezoelectric characteristics were investigated according to the poling condition. The transition temperature from orthorhombic phase to tetragonal phase observed at $93[^{\circ}C]$ and Curie temperature was $346[^{\circ}C]$. At $50[^{\circ}C]$ poling temperature, dielectric constant, electromecha nical coupling factor kp, piezoelectric $d_{33}$ const ant, coercive field Ec, remanant polarization Pr and mechanical quality factor Qm showed the optimum value of 737, 0.45, 209[pC/N], 1l.34[kV/cm], $7.14[{\mu}C/cm^2]$ and 205, respectively.
