In this paper, we studied about the level controller of optical signal with 40 channels by 4 VOA(Variable Optical Attenuator) with 12 channels. Total 8 microprocessors control 40 chamois for control of optical signal level so that a microprocessor controls 5 channels each. Moreover a microprocessor was added to communicate with outside and transfer instruction to each microprocessor. The output optical signal is measured and VOA is controlled as a result of it. The VOA outputs is inputted into PD(Photo Detector) at once. We could control multi-channel optical signals simply like this.

In recent years, the numbers of the orthodontic dental patients have been rapidly increased in adolescent or young adult aged generation. It has been well known that it would be very hard to control the oral hygiene cares for orthodontic applied dental patient because of the complexity of the appliance. So the caries prevalence of the orthodontic dental patients would be higher than non-appliance persons, and it might be easy to cause the dental caries especially on the labial or buccal surface of the tooth through equipping the fixed type appliance with a long period, even though the alignment of the teeth would be arranged well. So, the massive preventive program for preventive dentistry should be needed for the dental patients for orthodontic treatment, in order to protect the dental caries and the periodontal disease for them. But, lots of the dentists or dental hygienists sometimes neglect of this point for preventive dental cares orthodontic dental patients, or do not know the importance and how to manage the skill for the preventive dental works in clinical. In this article, it will be introduced the basic theories and skills for preventive cares as tooth-brushing instruction, fluoride topical application and pit and fissure sealant, scaling and professional mechanical tooth cleansing and the diet control, for the dental patients with the fixed type of the orthodontic appliance, in case by case.
Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the effects of team-based problem-based learning combined with smart education among nursing students. Methods: A quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group, pre-posttest design was used. The experimental group (n=36) received problem-based learning combined with smart education and lectures 7 times over the course of 7 weeks (100 minutes weekly). Control group (n=34) only received instructor-centered lectures 7 times over the course of 7 weeks (100 minutes weekly). Data were analyzed using the $x^2$ test, the Fisher exact test, and the independent t-test with SPSS for Windows version 21.0. Results: After the intervention, the experimental group reported increased learning motivation (t=2.70, p=.009), problem-solving ability (t=2.25, p=.028), academic self-efficacy (t=4.76, p<.001), self-learning ability (t=2.78, p<.001), and leadership (t=2.78, p=.007) relative to the control group. Conclusion: Team-based problem-based learning combined with smart education and lectures was found to be an effective approach for increasing the learning motivation, problem-solving ability, academic self-efficacy, self-learning ability, and leadership of nursing students.

Transient faults occur in computation units of a processor, which can cause control flow errors (CFEs) and compromise system reliability. The software-based methods perform illegal control flow detection by inserting redundant instructions and monitoring signature. However, the existing methods not only have drawbacks in terms of performance overhead, but also lack of configurability. We propose a configurable approach CCFCA for detecting CFEs. The configurability of CCFCA is implemented by analyzing the criticality of each region and tuning the detecting granularity. For critical regions, program blocks are divided according to space-time overhead and reliability constraints, so that protection intensity can be configured flexibly. For other regions, signature detection algorithms are only used in the first basic block and last basic block. This helps to improve the fault-tolerant efficiency of the CCFCA. At the same time, CCFCA also has the function of solving confusion and instruction self-detection. Our experimental results show that CCFCA incurs only 10.61% performance overhead on average for several C benchmark program and the average undetected error rate is only 9.29%. CCFCA has high error coverage and low overhead compared with similar algorithms. This helps to meet different cost requirements and reliability requirements.

Mental status examination is an important stage in the assessment process because it serves as the foundation for establishing nursing diagnosis and intervention. Until now many students still feel difficult to understand the terms in the assessment of mental status. Interactive Mobile Learning in one of the media that is currently being developed. The use of this media will provide more in-depth learning opportunities, and students can practice their skills in carrying out practicals because of the mobility principle possessed by smartphones. The purpose of this study was to develop a smartphone-based app and evaluate the app's effectiveness by measuring nursing students' knowledge of mental status examination. Design: A randomized trial with a pre-and post-test design was conducted at a university in Indonesia. A total of seventy junior nursing students participated in this study. The intervention group received a smartphone-based app, and the control group received one-time lecture-based learning. We offered the experimental group the app and information about how to use it, and we encouraged them to use it. The control group received classroom instruction. Results: The intervention group scored significantly higher than the control group on knowledge score (t = 19.40, p = 0.000) and satisfaction with the learning method (t = 0.640, p = 0.021) Conclusion: These findings suggest that smartphonebased education could be an effective method in nursing education for teaching mental status examinations.
Purpose: This study was done to evaluate the effects of program promoting self-efficacy patients with epicondylitis. Methods: Forty-three patients with unilateral epicondylitis were enrolled in this study between January, 2 and April, 28, 2009. The patients were assigned to one of two groups: Nineteen patients in the intervention group were given the self-efficacy promotion program with specific home instruction and the 24 in the control group were treated with conventional treatment. Pain by numeric rating scale, anxiety, and the self-efficacy of exercise were evaluated before the program, and 4 weeks after completing the intervention. The number of exercises was checked after the intervention. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, Chi-square test, paired t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients with SPSS 14.0 program. Results: Anxiety in the intervention group was significantly lower than the control group(p=.018). Maximal and resting pain in the control group were lower than the intervention group( p=.000, p=.003). The self-efficacy of exercise and the number of exercises increased in the intervention group but there was no significant difference (p=.057, p=.052). Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that a program promoting self-efficacy for patients with epicondylitis could be a useful nursing intervention to reduce anxiety.
The basic stance of the Republic of Korea Ministry of Foreign Affairs was 'quiet diplomacy'. However, there had been demands for specific plans for practical protection of Dokdo. In 2011, Prime Minister Kim Hwang Sik mentioned that they are reviewing measures of stationing marines on Dokdo, while on August 10th, 2012, former president Lee Myung Bak visited Dokdo. The visit itself was meaningful as he was the first supreme commander to visit Dokdo. This paper studies on the necessity of naval power on Dokdo to maintain its effective control. The effective control must be done by a national organization in a peaceful and unimpaired method. If so, can stationing naval power, whether directly or indirectly, on Dokdo be considered a violation of 'peaceful' method? A 'peaceful' effective of control meas the right of sovereignty over a territory without other country's protest. In such terms, protecting a territory falls under practicing the right of sovereignty, and therefore does not violate 'peaceful'. In addition, looking at international cases such as Ligitan/Sipadan Case and Pedra Blanca Case, evidences such as 'navy activity', 'flyng ensign', and 'military communication facility installation' was used. In ter case of Yemen-Eritrea dispute over Hanish, methods on effective control over island and sea was also ruled by the installation of military posts and military surveillance activities. Thus, stationing naval power on Dokdo can be a way of maintaining effective control per international law. To station naval poer on Dokdo, Presidential Instruction 24 integrated Defense Guideline Enforcement Ordinance, which is domestic law, must be revised. Reason being, the Enforcement Ordinance states that the navy area of responsibility excluded Ullundo, where Dokdo is under jurisdiction of Ullungdim thus excluding navy control. In addition, considering the diplomatic situation, it is more fut to install navy radar site on Dokdo rather than 'stationing marines'. In other words, enforcing surveillance in the vicinity of Dokdo and installing radar site instead of stationing direct combatants is one way of practicing effective control without stimulating diplomatic disputes.

This study investigates the effect of instructional program using Nott & Wellington's" your nature of science profile" to facilitate the understanding about the nature of science for elementary preservice teachers. To do this. this study used posttest only control group design. The students in control group studied the topic by instructional program using textbook and reference book. Experimental group studied by instructional program: (1)evaluating personally one's understanding of the nature of science using Nott and Wellington's "your nature of science profile"; (2)studying the way of understanding the nature of science focusing five dimensions presented in it; (3)knowing other's understanding the nature of science; (4)discussing and evaluating reflectively the various aspect about it. Because the true understanding about the nature of science is not only to know about the method of science but also to know the target of science. We planned to evaluate the effect of instruction by such dichotomous way as evaluating simultaneously the understanding about the method of science and the target of science. Therefore the Questionnaire to evaluate the effect of instruction consisted two pairs of open-ended Questions: first pair is consisted of questions for the representation and judgement of scientific theory, second pair is consisted of questions for components and sources of scientific manipulation of the structure of science. The results of questionnaires by experimental group(n=75) and control group(n=77) are as follows: (1) Analysing responses about first pair of questions in dichotomous way, we identified four different patterns in students' understanding about scientific theory. And the instructional program using Nott & Wellington's "your nature of science profile" is not significantly effective in the distribution of patterns of understanding about scientific theory, but effective in driving out scientifically valid understanding, naturalistic realism, about scientific theory from the students having realistic aspect in representation of scientific theory; (2) Analysing responses about second pair of questions in dichotomous way, we identified five different patterns in students's understanding about structure of science. And the instructional program using Nott & Wellington's "your nature of science profile" is significantly effective in the distribution of patterns of understanding about structure of science, and effective in driving out scientifically valid understanding, dualistic-circular view or dualistic-circular view, about structure of science from the students having dualistic or dualistic aspect in components of structure of science.

In this study, a learning-teaching model enhancing the students to ask questions was developed and the influence of its application to the lesson of 'Chemical Change and Elements' of the 8th grade was investigated. This learning-teaching model was constructed initially by completing the work-sheet to activate student's question-asking, then by writing down their questions or uncertainties in the class, and finally with the feedback of student's question to the individual and to the class. Treatment and control groups (2 classes each) were selected from a girls' middle school in Seoul. and taught for 12 class hours during 4 weeks for this study. Before instruction, the test of attitudes toward science lessons and the test of adoption of scientific attitudes were administered, and the science scores of the previous course were obtained for the covariate. After instruction, the conception test. the achievement test, the test of attitudes toward science lessons, and the test of adoption of scientific attitudes were administered. The TOSRA (Test of Science-Related Attitudes) was used both for the test of attitudes toward science lessons and for the test of adoption of scientific attitudes. The study revealed that the treatment group showed significant differences from the control group in the scores of the conception test (p<.01) and of the achievement test (p<.05). But in attitudes toward science lessons and adoption of scientific attitudes. there were not significant differences between the two groups, even though the scores of the treatment group were a little higher than those of the control group. Educational implications of the effect of science teaching on the questioning activity of students are also discussed.

In this paper, we design and implement a two-way search algorithm that can provide a customized service through the user with real-time two-way communication using a mobile instant messaging service. Therefore, we design and implement the automative search system which enables delivering message to each user mobile terminal from a plurality of relay mobile terminals by utilizing the mobile instant messenger, not to deliver a message from the main server to the mobile instant messenger user directly. Two-way search system using the mobile instant messenger can be immediately collect the user's response is easy to identify the orientation of each user, and thus can be provided to establish a differentiated service plan. Also, It provides a number of services(text, photos, videos, etc) in real-time information to the user by utilizing the mobile instant messenger service without the need to install a separate application. Experiment results, data processing speed of the category processing way to search for the data of the DB server from a user mobile terminal is about 7.06sec, data processing number per minute is about 13 times. The data processing speed of the instruction processing way is about 3.10sec, data processing number per minute is about 10 times. The data processing speed of the natural language processing way is about 5.13sec, per data processing number per minute is about 7 times. Therefore in category processing way, command processing way and natural language processing way, instruction processing way is the most excellent in aspect of data processing speed, otherwise in aspect of per data processing number per minute, the category processing way is the best method.
