  • Some strong convergence theorems of explicit iteration scheme for asymptotically nonexpansive semi-groups in Banach spaces are established. The results presented in this paper extend and improve some recent results in [T. Suzuki. On strong convergence to common fixed points of nonexpansive semigroups in Hilbert spaces, Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 131(2002)2133-2136; H. K. Xu. A strong convergence theorem for contraction semigroups in Banach spaces, Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 72(2005)371-379; N. Shioji and W. Takahashi. • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to compare interrelations between stress and muscles of neck through stress response inventory(SRI), 7 zone diagnostic system and surface electromyography(sEMG). Methods : This study was carried out with the data from SRI, 7 zone diagnostic system and sEMG. First subjects were divided into two group according to the SRI points. subjects in group A had points of SRI in which lower than 30 points. Subjects in group B had points of SRI in which higher than 30 points. And subjects were divided into nonstress group(Group C) and stress grouop(Group D) according to the result of 7 zone diagnostic system. Then we investigated how to differentiate the muscle contraction, fatigue, recovery and asymmetry ratio on sEMG for each groups. Results : In this study, the muscle contraction of both upper trapezius muscle and left sternocleidomastoid muscle and left scalene muscle in stress group were higher than nonstress group significantly. And the muscle recovery of left sternocleidomastoid muscle and left scalene muscle in stress group were higher than nonstress group significantly. Conclusions : This results show that the stress was associated with muscle condition.

  • The purpose of this paper is to introduce a class of contractive pairs of mappings satisfying a Zamfirescu-type inequality, but controlled with altering distance functions and with parameters satisfying the so-called Geraghty condition in the framework of b-metric spaces. For this class of mappings we prove the existence of points of coincidence, the convergence and stability of the Jungck, Jungck-Mann and Jungck-Ishikawa iterative processes and the existence and uniqueness of its common fixed points.

  • Purpose : This study is to offer clinical primary data that examines the change of imaging structure and the quantitative evaluation of muscle activity on myofascial trigger points. This study examines neuromuscular physiological characteristic by comparing the differences in physical findings, pressure pain threshold, imaging, and electrophysiological characteristics in latent and active myofascial trigger points muscle and normal muscle through the following experimental procedures. Methods : The participants for the study were thirty-three adults in their twenties. We divided three groups into normal, latent and active myofascial trigger points groups by physical findings. We analyzed the results of measured pressure pain, threshold for pain, ultrasound imaging perform for structure characteristic of muscle, surface EMG according to type of muscle contraction for function of muscle contraction. Results : Significant differences were indicated in pressure pain threshold (p<0.05). Significant differences were discovered in the ultrasound imaging analysis. There were increases in muscle Echogenicity white area index (p<0.001). There were significant differences that decrease in %MVIC (p<0.05), increase in MDF (p<0.05). Conclusion : From these results, active rnyotascial trigger points muscle showed quality deterioration on ultrasound imaging and decreased function of muscle contraction, increased motor unit action potential of II type fiber, and electrophysiologically. Imaging structure and neuromuscular physiological characteristic can be diagnostic and quantitative analytical techniques for myofascial pain syndrome and a primary factor that reflected in physical therapy intervention.

  • A deranged Cantor set (without the uniform bounded-ness condition away from zero of contraction ratios) whose weak local dimensions for all points coincide has its Hausdorff dimension of the same value of weak local dimension. We will show it using an energy theory instead of Frostman's density lemma which was used for the case of the deranged Cantor set with the uniform boundedness condition of contraction ratios. In the end, we will give an example of such a deranged Cantor set.

  • Recently, existence theorems of coupled fixed points for mixed monotone operators have been considered by several authors (see [1]-[3], [6]). In this paper, we are continuously going to study the existence problems of coupled fixed points for two more general classes of mixed monotone operators. As an application, we utilize our main results to show thee existence of coupled fixed points for a class of non-linear integral equations.

  • In this paper, we introduce several types 𝛼-𝜓 interpolative proximal contractions and provide some sufficient conditions to prove the existence of best proximity points for these contractions in metric spaces. In the case of proximal contraction of the first kind, these metric spaces are not necessarily complete. Meanwhile, some new results can derive from our results. Finally, some examples are provided to show the validity of our results.

  • We introduce two iterative algorithms for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of an asymptotically k-strict pseudo-contraction and the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem in a Hilbert space. We obtain some weak and strong convergence theorems by using the proposed iterative algorithms. Our results extend and improve the corresponding results of Tada and Takahashi [16] and Kim and Xu [8, 9].
