심혈관질환용 회복력(Cardiovascular Disease Resilience) 측정도구 개발 및 평가 (Development of a Cardiovascular Disease Resilience Scale)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a Cardiovascular Disease Resilience (CDR) scale to evaluate disease specific resilience for recovery. Methods: The study was conducted as follows: items generation, and test of validity and reliability. Items were developed via literature review, review of instruments, and data acquired from the interviews. In order to test validity and reliability, seven panels of experts reviewed the preliminary questionnaire and then data were collected from 550 cardiovascular disease patients. Factor analysis, Pearson correlation, ANOVA, and Cronbach's alpha were used to analyze the data. Results: In the preliminary stage, forty-four items were generated. A reduction to 40 items was accomplished through content validity analysis. Factor analysis extracted 7 factors with a total of 25 items. The CDR items were moderately correlated with the subscales of the CD-RISC (Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale) and the mean score of CDR was associated with quality of life measured with CD-QOL (Cardiovascular Disease Quality of Life). Cronbach's ${\alpha}$=.84. Conclusion: Content validity, construct validity, criterion validity, and reliability of the CDR were established. The CDR is a reliable and valid instrument which the resilience of cardiovascular disease specific recovery state can be evaluated.

전문직 간 핵심역량 중요성 인식 측정도구의 신뢰도와 타당도 검증 (Reliability and Validity of Perception on Importance of Interprofessional Core Competencies(PI-ICCP) Scale)

  • Objectives: This study evaluated the perception on importance of interprofessional core competencies (PI-ICCP) scale. Methods: Data were collected from 353 college students of health. Content validity was tested using the content validity index for individual items(I-CVI) and for scale(S-CVI). Criterion validity was tested using the professional competencies scale developed by Choi. Reliability was evaluated using Cronbach's coefficient alpha. The goodness-of-fit of the construct validity was determined through exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. Results: The I-CVI of each item was .8 or higher for all items, and the S-CVI was .98. The reliability of the PI-IPCC was Cronbach's α=.98. The goodness-of-fit indices of the model were χ2=1811.54(p<.001), the comparative fit index (CFI)=.91, and root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA)=.08, which satisfied the criteria. Conclusions: The construct and criterion-related validity of the perception for PI-ICCP scale were a good fit, so the instrument is appropriate for measuring perception on importance of interprofessional core competencies. Further research will be required using this instrument to investigate perception of interprofessional core competencies of health professionals.

Validity and Reliability of the Turkish Version of the COVID Stress Scale

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the Turkish adaptation of the COVID Stress Scale (CSS) on the basis of determining the stress caused by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, and to test its validity and reliability. Methods: The English CSS was translated into Turkish using forward and backward translation. Data were collected online from 360 participants. Construct validity was evaluated using confirmatory factor analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and content validity. Pearson product-moment correlation, Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient, and test-retest methods were used to evaluate reliability. Results: The Turkish version of the CSS has 36 items consistent with the original scale and has five factors: COVID danger and contamination, socioeconomic consequences of COVID, COVID xenophobia, traumatic stress due to COVID, and compulsive checking for COVID. The construct validity of the Turkish version of the CSS was verified by the adjusted goodness of fit index > .85, and comparative fit index > .95. The content validity index of each item was 91%. The corrected item-total correlations of the scale ranged from .51 to .89. Internal consistency was reliable, with a Cronbach's α of .93. Conclusion: The Turkish version of the CSS is valid and reliable. It can be used as a measurement tool for the assessment of COVID-related stress.

한글판 Peabody Developmental Motor Scale 2의 타당도와 검사자간 신뢰도 연구 (Study of Validity and Interrater Reliability of Korean Version of the Peabody Developmental Motor Scale 2)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 Peabody Developmental Motor Scale 2(PDMS-2)의 국내사용을 위하여 번역연구와 검사자간 신뢰도 및 동시타당도를 검증하는 것이다. 연구방법 : PDMS-2의 번역연구는 2명의 작업치료사가 각각 번역하여, 3명의 작업치료학과 교수를 통해 번역 내용타당도를 검증하였다. 그 후 임상 작업치료사 5명을 대상으로 내용이해도 검증을 받아 수정보완 후 한글판 PDMS-2를 제시 하였다. 일반 아동 50명을 대상으로 검사자간 신뢰도는 두 작업치료사가 한글판 PDMS-2를 각각 평가하여 검사자간 신뢰도를 측정하였고, 동시타당도는 한글판 PDMS-2와 한국판 Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency-2(BOT-2)를 사용하여 검증하였다. 결과 : 연구결과 번역에 대한 내용일치도는 평균3.45점으로 일치하였고, 내용이해도는 평균 3.69점으로 높은 이해도를 보였다. 검사자간 신뢰도는 급내상관계수의 범위가 .941에서 .994로 나타났다. 동시타당도는 상관계수 r값이 항목에 따라 .951-.651으로 통계적 유의미한 상관관계를 보였다. 결론 : 한글판 PDMS-2는 아동의 운동기능을 평가하는 도구로서 높은 신뢰도와 타당도를 가진 것으로 나타났다. 한글판 PDMS-2는 아동의 운동기능 평가와 치료의 효과를 측정하는 도구로 사용가능하며, 치료의 중재나 목표 설정과 교육 및 연구를 위해 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

School Setting Interview(SSI)의 번안 및 내용타당도 검증 (Translation and Content: Validity Verification Study of the Korean Version of the School Setting Interview (K-SSI))

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 9-19세의 학생과 학교 환경과의 적합성을 평가하는 학교 환경 인터뷰(School Setting Interview; SSI)를 한국어로 번안하고 내용타당도를 검증하기 위해 실시하였다. 연구방법 : 번역-역번역의 과정을 거쳐 완성된 한국판 SSI를 전문가 집단 35명에게 항목 적합성에 대한 설문을 총 2회 실시하여 내용타당도를 검증하였다. 연구결과 : K-SSI(Korean-School Setting Interview) 도구 전체의 내용타당도 지수(Content Validity Index; CVI)는 1차 검증에서 .90으로 나타났고, 1차 검증에서 .75 이하로 나온 항목들인 읽기 항목의 '지도와 도표', 스포츠 활동하기 항목의 '샤워하기'에 대해서 수정을 거쳐 2차 검증을 하였다. 그 결과 2차 검증은 .93로 더 상승된 결과를 보였다. 결론 : K-SSI는 국내문화에 부적합한 항목이 없음을 확인하였으며 높은 내용타당도를 가진 평가도구임이 증명되었다. 앞으로의 연구에서는 타당도와 신뢰도 연구가 진행되어야 하며, 실질적으로 학교 환경에서 어려움을 겪는 학생들에게 적용하는 연구와 같이 임상에서의 지속적인 활용이 이루어져야한다.

한국어판 간호대학생의 인공지능에 대한 태도 측정도구 신뢰도 및 타당도 검증 (The validity and reliability of the Korean version of the General Attitudes towards Artificial Intelligence Scale for nursing students)

  • Purpose: The aim of the study was to verify the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the General Attitudes towards Artificial Intelligence Scale (GAAIS-K) for nursing students. Methods: Data from 235 participants were collected from April 12 to April 26, 2022. A total of 230 participants' data were analyzed. The data were analyzed for content, discriminant, known-groups, and construct validity using content validity index, correlation coefficient, and confirmatory factor analyses. The reliability of the GAAIS-K was examined using internal consistency and test-retest analyses. Results: The expert-rated content validity index was ≥.80. The sub-scales of the GAAIS-K were moderately correlated with attitude toward accepting technology, indicative of its discriminant validity. The male students' positive attitude score was significantly higher than that of the female students, satisfying the known-groups validity. Cronbach's α for the scale was .86 (positive) and .74 (negative), and the intra-class correlation coefficient for the two-week test-retest reliability was .86 (positive) and .60 (negative). The scores for positive and negative attitudes were 3.68±0.46 and 3.05±0.55. Conclusion: This study shows that the GAAIS-K is a valid and reliable instrument for assessing nursing students. Additional research is recommended to continue the evaluation of the GAAIS-K with a focus on healthcare settings.

Development and Validation of a Safety Climate Scale for Manufacturing Industry

  • Background: This paper describes the development of a scale for measuring safety climate. Methods: This study was conducted in six manufacturing companies in Iran. The scale developed through conducting a literature review about the safety climate and constructing a question pool. The number of items was reduced to 71 after performing a screening process. Results: The result of content validity analysis showed that 59 items had excellent item content validity index (${\geq}0.78$) and content validity ratio (> 0.38). The exploratory factor analysis resulted in eight safety climate dimensions. The reliability value for the final 45-item scale was 0.96. The result of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the safety climate model is satisfactory. Conclusion: This study produced a valid and reliable scale for measuring safety climate in manufacturing companies.

고졸검정고시 과학 문항 타당도와 문항 반응 사례 분석 (Analysis of Content Validity and Case Studies of Responses to Scientific Questions on Qualification Examination for High School Graduation)

  • This study was to evaluate the suitability of scientific questions as qualification examination for high school graduation by content validity and item response with three examinees and two preliminary examinees. As a result, scientific questions were concentrated on two units of six units of total, and application appeared to be lacking problem area by 8% compared to understanding and application. Examinees and preliminary examinees chose correct answers most by hap or guess, sometimes by experience or common sense, and the least by scientific concept. In addition, they could chose correct answers by hap or guess because there were words that implied the correct answer in questions and answers, or because they could compared and/or analyzed questions and answers. With these results, two proposals were suggested as follows; (1) scientific questions of qualification examination for high school graduation should measure basic scientific literacy. (2) specific criteria for science literacy in qualification examination for high school graduation should be set.

한국어판 알츠하이머병 지식 측정도구의 신뢰도와 타당도 (Psychometric Properties of the Alzheimer's Disease Knowledge Scale-Korean Version)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Korean version of the Alzheimer's Disease Knowledge Scale (ADKS-K) to determine its applicability to Korean adults. Methods: Cross-cultural validity was performed according to Consensus-based Standards for the Selection of Health Measurement Instruments (COSMIN). The Kuder-Richardson Formula 20 for internal consistency and Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) for test-retest reliability were conducted. Content validity, criterion related validity and construct validity were evaluated. The Classical Test Theory (CTT) model and the Item Response Theory (IRT) model were applied in performing the item analysis. Results: The KR 20 was .71, and the ICC was .90, indicating that the ADKS-K has internal consistency and stability reliability. Thirty items of the ADKS-K had significant Content Validity Ratio (CVR) values, i.e., mean of 0.82 and range of 0.60~1.00. Mean item difficulty and discrimination indices calculated by TestAn program were 0.63 and 0.23, respectively. Mean item difficulty and discrimination indices calculated by BayesiAn program were -0.60 and 0.77, respectively. These tests indicate that ADKS-K has an acceptable level of difficulty and discriminating efficiency. Conclusion: Results suggest that ADKS-K has the potential to be a proper instrument for assessing AD knowledge in Korean adults.

임상판단 평가도구의 신뢰도 및 타당도 검증 (The Reliability and Validity of the Lasater Clinical Judgement Rubric in Korean Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was done to evaluate the Lasater Clinical Judgement Rubric for use with Korean nursing students. Methods: A methodological study was used to validate the rubric developed by Lasater to assess clinical judgment during nursing simulation. Participants were 34 nursing students at K University in Seoul. Between February and May, 2012, analysis was done of 91 video clips recording performance during simulation. Results: Findings showed reliability and validity of the rubric. For internal consistency, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ score was .884 and intraclass correlation coefficient was .839, which established reliability. The rubric was validated using the exploratory factor analysis and content validity. The content validity score was 83%, establishing the appropriateness and readiness of the tool. Factor analysis showed that noticing, responding, and reflecting domains had Eigen values of 2.669, 1.991, and 2.912, respectively and were bound, but unlike the original tool in which four factors noticing, interpretation, responding, and reflecting domains were bound. Conclusion: Results of the study indicate that the rubric shows acceptable reliability and validity in Korean nursing students. This evaluation tool for nursing simulation allows nursing faculty to objectively evaluate students' clinical judgment as well as students to reflect on their clinical judgment process during simulation.
