온라인 콘텐츠를 활용한 미술관 교육 프로그램 사례 분석 -젠킨스의 뉴미디어리터러시로- (Case analysis of educational program of museum using online contents -Focusing on Jenkin's new media literacy-)

  • 본 연구는 온라인 콘텐츠를 활용한 미술관 교육 프로그램의 한계점을 보완하기 위해 온라인 미술관 교육 사례들을 젠킨스의 뉴미디어리터러시 핵심 역량을 토대로 분석하였다. 젠킨스가 제시한 체계적인 미디어 교육의 핵심 역량은 미디어를 활용하여 콘텐츠를 개발해야하는 온라인 미술관의 향후 방향성에 대한 기준점이 될 수 있다. 사례 분석을 위해 국내 미술관으로는 국립현대미술관, 국립중앙박물관, 사비나 미술관, 보름산미술관을 선택했고 국외 미술관으로는 클리블랜드미술관, 메트로폴리탄미술관, 게티미술관, 테이트모던미술관을 선택했다. 젠킨스의 뉴미디어리터러시 핵심 역량에 따라 분석한 결과로 국외 미술관의 경우에는 화상회의, 사이트 페이지 하단의 댓글 달기 등 상호 소통을 위한 콘텐츠를 구성하고 있었지만 국내 온라인 미술관은 이러한 요소가 부족하였기 때문에 커뮤니케이션 콘텐츠를 구성하여 전용, 네트워킹, 협상력, 분산된 인지, 집단지성의 역량을 향상시켜야 할 필요가 있었다.

시뮬레이션 연계 문제중심학습이 간호학생의 간호기본역량에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Problem-Based Learning Combined with Simulation on the Basic Nursing Competency of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The objective of this study was to identify the effects of problem based learning (PBL) combined with simulation on the basic nursing competency of nursing students. Method: A pretest-posttest design with a nonequivalent control group was used to examine the effects of problem based learning combined with simulation for 9 weeks in a group of 283 nursing students. The PBL group of 141 students participated in PBL classes with simulation, 4 hours a week for 9 weeks compared to control group of 142 students who received the usual fundamental nursing class. Results: The group that had PBL with simulation showed significant increases in problem solving and self-directed learning competency, although there were no significant changes in communication competency as compared to the control group. Conclusion: The findings of this study demonstrate that PBL with simulation for nursing students may increase problem solving and self-directed learning competency and suggest that utilizing this teaching-learning method may be beneficial as an effective nursing education strategy.

가정간호 교육요구도 조사 연구 (Education Needs for Home Care Nurse)

  • In 1990 Home Care Education Programs started when legislation established certification for Home Care Nurses. The Ministry of Health and Welfare proposed a home care education curriculum which has 352 class hours and 248 hours of 'family nursing and practice'. Though Home Care Education Programs have been offered in 11 home care educational institutes, there has been no formal revision for the home care education programs. Also a first and second home care demonstration projects have been carried out, but there has been no research on outcomes for home care education as applied in home care practice. The purposes of this study were to identify the important content areas for home care nursing as perceived by home care nurses, and to identify their clinical competence in each of these areas, and from these to identify the education needs. The sample was 107 home care nurses who were working in home care demonstration hospitals and community-based institutions which have been offering home care services. Responses were received from 88 nurses, comprising a 82.2% return rate, and 86 were included in the final analysis. The instrument used was a modification of the instrument developed by Caie-Lawrence et(1995) and Moon's(1991) instrument on home care knowledge. The instrument's Cronbach's coefficient was 0.982. Among the respondents, 64% were working at home care demonstration hospitals and 36% were working at community-based institutions. Their home care experiences were from one month to six years, with a mean of 20.6 months. The importance rating for home care education content was 3.42 0.325, which means importance was rated relatively high. Technical aspects of home care were identified the most important. Five items 'education skill', 'counseling skill', 'interview skill', 'wound care skill', 'bed sore care skill' received 100% importance ratings. The competency rating was 2.87 0.367 and 'technical aspects of home care' was the highest, and 'application to home care skill' was the lowest. Home care nurses' education needs were identified and compared to the importance ratings and competency ratings. Eleven items were identified as the highest in the importance areas and eleven items were in the lowest competency areas. High importance ratings matched with low competency ratings determined training needs, but there was no matching items in this study. In the lowest competency areas four items were excluded, because of not being applicable in current home care practice. Therefore total eighteen items were identified as home care education needs. These items are 'bed sore care skill', 'malpractice', 'wound care skill', 'general infection control', 'change and management of tracheostomy tubes', 'CVA patient care', 'Hospice care', 'pain management', 'urinary catheterization and management', 'L-tube insertion and managements', 'Respirator use and management skill', 'infant care', 'prevention to burnout', 'child assessment', 'CAPD', 'infant assessment', 'computer literacy', and 'psychiatry patient care'.

공학교육인증과 NCS 기반 교육과정의 이해 (A Comparative Study of the Curriculum Based on NCS with ABEEK)

  • Since ABEEK ("Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea") began its accreditation in 2001, the 595 programs in 100 institutions have been accredited, and now the number of accredited programs is continuously increasing. On the other hand, NCS ("National Competency Standards") which is directed by government, has been also introduced in recent years, and it becomes the center of attentions of many universities in Korea. Each of these 2 systems has its own strengths and weaknesses, even though their main purposes are very similar. This paper deals with the comparison between the curriculum based on NCS with ABEEK. And also, the examples of making the curriculum based on the NCS would be introduced. At the conclusion, some suggestions for the new NCS system would be proposed.

인제대학교 의과대학 의예과 교육과정 개발과 편성 사례 (Development of Premedical Curriculum in Inje University's College of Medicine)

  • One important purpose of premedical education is to help students attain core competencies during the two-year premedical program. Since premedical curriculum is the foundation of medical education, it is necessary to develop the premedical curriculum in accordance with the overarching curriculum of a medical school. Inje University's College of Medicine (IUCM) has attempted to integrate competency-based medical education into the premedical education curriculum. The revised premedical curriculum aims to develop students' intrinsic competencies during premedical years. In an effort to do so, IUCM defined competencies for premedical education, analyzed and designed premedical courses according to the defined competencies, and suggested learner-centered instructional methods. As a result of implementing the revised premedical curriculum, students have reported both positive experiences and difficulties. Based on the results, it will be necessary to continuously improve the premedical curriculum as well as develop appropriate methods for evaluating student achievement of the defined competencies.

Policy Suggestions for Fostering Teacher ICT Competencies in Developing Countries: An ODA Project Case in Peru

  • Many developing countries consider ICT as a key enabler to improve their educational systems and teachers are viewed as change agents. This paper aims to present policy suggestions concerning how to foster teachers' ICT competencies in developing countries based on the outcomes of an ODA project case in Peru. This study was conducted through three stages: Literature survey, site visit, and policy suggestions. To draw relevant policy suggestions, we employed the framework of the 'macro-meso-micro' level of teacher professional development. The following policy suggestions are discussed: (a) macro level: to develop the national framework of teacher ICT competencies and competency-based teacher training, (b) meso-level: to promote teacher communities of practices and school-based research programs, and (c) micro-level: to redesign teacher professional development programs to help teachers better understand the complex relationships between content, pedagogy, and technology, beyond learning about basic ICT literacy skills. This study contributes to the understanding of how ODA projects can approach the issue of teacher ICT capacity building at multiple levels.

제 4차 산업혁명시대의 공과대 여학생 역량분석을 반영한 교수법 모델 (A Pedagogical Model Reflecting on Competency Analysis of of the Female Engineering Students in the Fourth Industrial Revolution)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an educational model based on the capacity analysis of college students. In order to measure the learning ability of female science and engineering students, we used various tools to derive core competencies. The competency element of human resources implementation, the element of learning achievement area in the undergraduate education actual condition survey, and the analysis of the learning achievement elements of the engineering certification program were analyzed and the development of teaching method was searched to find ways to increase the competence of female students. In addition, we developed a model that can apply the development of pedagogy in the curriculum to the liberal arts, majors, and comparative courses, and presented the internship in field experience area, the improvement of on the spot learning, and teaching method and guidance to enhance the female students' competence. Also, as a case study of the proposed teaching method, new curriculum of 'Understanding of Big Data' which is the basis of the fourth industrial revolution technology in the second semester of 2016 was developed and applied to the education model. The results of this study are very positive, and we can expect the effectiveness of the new education model to enhance the learning ability and capacity of female students.

정보교사의 역량에 기반한 소프트웨어교육 교원 직무 연수과정 분석 (Analysis of Competency-Based In-service Training Programs for Informatics Teachers)

  • 4차 산업혁명시대를 대비한 창의 융합형 인재 양성을 위해 2015 개정 교육과정에서는 소프트웨어(SW) 교육을 강조하고 있다. 이에 따라 급변하는 교육환경에서 정보교사에게 요구되는 역량에 기반한 연수과정 개발이 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 선행연구를 통해 소프트웨어교육 담당교원의 직무연수 내용분석을 위한 분석 틀을 선정하고, 현재 소프트웨어교육 담당교원의 역량 강화 연수과정 내용을 중등 정보교사에게 요구되는 역량을 기반으로 분석하여, 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 이를 위해 직무연수 교재 개발에 참여한 현장 전문가들을 대상으로 설문 및 협의를 거쳐 역량에 기반한 연수과정 내용요소와 계층적(AHP) 기법으로 역량요소별 상대적 중요도를 분석하였다. 그 결과 일반 및 정보교사에게 요구되는 '국가교육과정의 이해 및 재구성'역량에 해당되는 내용이 전체(15시간) 중 47%(7시간)으로 상대적으로 많이 편중되어 있었으며, 정보교사에게 요구되는 역량요소별 상대적 중요도가 21%로 가장 높게 나타난 '정보 교수학습 전략 수립 및 활용 능력'에 대한 내용구성이 부족하였다. 이러한 결과는 소프트웨어교육 담당교원 연수과정 개발에 있어 부족한 부분에 대해 이해하고, 반영할 수 있는 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

과학 영재의 역량 탐색 및 역량 사전의 개발 (A Study on Science-gifted Students' Competency and Development of Competency Dictionary)

  • 최근 과학 영재 교육 대상자의 선발 제도로 관찰 추천제가 도입되었으며, 이는 잠재적 역량이 높은 과학 영재를 파악할 수 있는 신뢰롭고 타당한 선발 기준의 마련을 요구하고 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 과학 영재의 내적 속성에 대한 변별을 도울 수 있는 역량을 탐색하고, 이를 사전화하였다. 검증된 선행 역량 사전/모델로부터 역량을 추출하고, 구조화된 설문과 초점 집단 면접을 통해 과학 영재의 역량을 규명하였다. 연구 결과, '목표 제시', '계획 수립', '정보 수집 및 분석', '문제 해결', '고차원적 사고', '전문 지식 및 자기 개발'의 6개 역량으로 구성된 인지적 역량군과 '자신감', '성취 지향성', '호기심'의 3개 역량으로 구성된 정의적 역량군을 도출하였다. 그리고 도출된 역량을 바탕으로 역량명과 역량에 대한 정의, 핵심 요소, 행동지표와 수준으로 구성된 역량 사전을 개발하였다. 이 연구 결과는 관찰 추천을 통한 잠재적인 과학 영재의 선발 기준에 대한 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

키워드 네트워크 분석을 통한 교육과정 연구 동향 탐색 (Exploring Research Trends in Curriculum through Keyword Network Analysis)

  • 이 연구는 교육과정 분야의 연구에서 중요하게 다루어지는 키워드와 그들의 관계를 살펴보기 위해 실시되었다. 연구를 위해 2002년부터 2019년까지 게재된 644편의 교육과정 논문에서 1,935개의 키워드를 추출하여 분석하였다. 자료 분석 단계에서는 KrKwic와 KrTitle 프로그램을 통해 키워드를 추출한 후 1-mode network matrix를 작성하였고, UCINET 6과 NetDraw 프로그램을 활용하여 네트워크 분석과 시각화 작업을 수행하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전체 키워드 출현 빈도 분석 결과, 교육과정이 가장 많이 출현하였으며, 다음은 교육과정 개발, 국가 교육과정, 역량기반 교육과정, 2015 개정 교육과정, 교육과정 실행, 이해중심 교육과정, 교사 교육, 학교 교육과정, IBDP 등의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연결 중심성 분석 결과에 따르면, 교육과정 개발이 가장 높게 나타났다. 이와 함께 교육과정, 역량기반 교육과정, 국가 교육과정, 2015 개정 교육과정, 이해중심 교육과정, 역량, 핵심 역량, 고등학교 교육과정, 교과서, 교육과정 실행, 교사 교육, IBDP 등의 순서로 높게 나타났다.
