We show that selfadjoint operator extensions of minimal second order difference operators have only discrete spectrum when the odd order coefficient is unbounded but grows or decays according to specific conditions. Selfadjoint operator extensions of minimal differential operator under similar growth and decay conditions on the coefficients have a absolutely continuous spectrum of multiplicity one.

This paper investigates how ODA FDI Trade affect economic growth in 4 South America countries over the last 50 years and ODA, FDI, Trade have a impact on the 4 South America countries economic growth using the Vector Error Correction Model. The results of empirical analysis based on data from 1960 to 2014 confirmed that FDI and trade than ODA has had a significant impact on Brazil and FDI, Trade had affected on Argentina economic growth. On the other hand, ODA had a more major impact on Venezuela, Peru economic growth than FDI and trade. Based on the results of these empirical analysis, when it comes to support for economic growth of underdeveloping countries, developed countries have to supply enough ODA for least developing countries to start economic growth, in case of economic take off stage, they should consider FDI, and international trade volume increase.

This study is to investigate the relative impacts of urban growth boundaries(UGBs) on metropolitan growth patterns in the United States over a period of time. Through statistical analyses, we evaluate the extent to which UGBs affect the density of residential development in metropolitan areas with UGBs. We also attempt to understand the overall impact of UGBs and the importance of UGBs relative to other determinants of urban growth patterns. Our works found that urban growth patterns differ significantly between cities with UGBs and cities without. UGBs have significant causal effect on urban housing and population densities, but are relatively less important than other factors. This implies that there are factors affecting the variation for which the given data cannot account. Despite the limitations of the data, the findings of this analysis suggest that UGBs have some positive effects on curbing urban sprawl.

Genetic resource conservation of indigenous species is important to conserve terrestrial, aquatic and avian species throughout the world. The native Korean Oge (KO) chickens are important and protected indigenous avian species in Korea. This KO breed is very popular in Korea because of its external appearances of blackish color. The characterization of morphology and growth performances of KO were performed since 1980s, however the information is still not sufficient for breed selection. In this study, we compared various growth performances including body growth, tibia length, shank length, chest width, chest grith and length of tail feather between male and female chickens of KO and widely known White Leghorn (WL) breeds at 1 week, 2 weeks, 5 weeks, 10 weeks, and 24 weeks. We observed differences on various growth performances at different aged groups between KO and WL chickens. This study may help for the selection of chicken breeds based on age, body growth and meat production.

The maritime industry has emerged as a new growth engine. The municipalities that own the port are trying to add value through the maritime industry. Overseas port cities are also creating maritime industrial clusters to generate profits and strengthen competitiveness. Therefore, it is very important to understand the comparative status of the domestic maritime industry by region. Based on this analysis, it is possible to establish maritime industrial clusters and strategies for integration. This study analyzed the structure of the maritime industry located in Jeollanamdo province, the southwestern part of Korea. Through the analysis of existing literature, the maritime industry was reclassified into 5 major categories, 21 subcategories, and 84 subcategories. Based on the reclassified maritime industry, the analysis of the Jeollanamdo province maritime industry was based on applying the location quotient and the shift-share analysis. As a result of analyzing the geographical location of Jeollanamdo province, other industries showed the highest value of 2.790, followed by fisheries (2.227), shipbuilding industry (1.164) and marine tourism industry (0.554). The growth effect of the maritime industry in Jeollanamdo province was 35,323 people, and net growth effect excluding national growth effect was 11,945 people. In particular, the net growth effect of the shipbuilding industry was the highest at 11,320, followed by shipping logistics (6,371) and marine tourism (1,529). On the other hand, there was no net growth effect in fisheries. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the construction of the maritime industrial cluster for Jellanamdo province in the future.

Entire functions have been investigated so popularly to have been divided into a large number of specialized subjects. Even the limited subject of entire functions is too vast to be dealt with in a single volume with any approach to completeness. Here, in this paper, we choose to investigate certain interesting results associated with the comparative growth properties of iterated entire functions using (p, q)-th order and (p, q)-th lower order, in a rather comprehensive and systematic manner.

The investigation was undertaken to determin the altered function and structure of granulation tissue fibroblasts. Human granulation-tissue fibroblasts were cultured from periodontal chronic inflammatory lesions (SBI index : above 3) and compared with healthy gingival connective tissues fibroblasts a control(SBI index : below 1). Granulation tissue fibroblasts proliferated with a slower growth rate and exhibited larger cell size than control cells. Total protein profile of granulation tissue fibroblasts was almost identical to that of control cells with some exception. These results support tha theory that granulation tissue fibroblasts represent a distinct phenotype of fibrotic cells.

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether or not belt's jobs represent a source of job enrichment that translates into positive job characteristics and satisfaction. Hackman and Oldham's 5 job characteristics, 3 critical psychological states and MPS are utilized for analyzing results of the study. The results indicate that Black and Master Black Belt's jobs have positive effects on all five job characteristics, 3 psychological states, and MPS score. However, the findings indicate that Black and Master Black Belt's jobs are no direct effect on job satisfaction suggesting that growth need strength controls on job satisfaction. The result shows that there is a support for the prediction that growth needs strength controls the effect of belt's jobs on job satisfaction.
