동물 해부실험에 대한 중학교 교사와 학생들의 인식 (The Awareness of Secondary Teachers and Students toward Animal Dissection in Biology Class)

  • The ethical issue is one of the most important themes in both science and environmental education. Especially related to the right of other species, animal dissection has been brought about two contradictory attitudes. In spring 1996, a survey was conducted to assess the status of animal dissection in secondary schools and the awareness of 94 biology teachers and 422 secondary students toward animal dissection. And the meaning of animal dissection in biology class was discussed in terms of environmental education. The findings were as follows: First, most of students(96.6%) had participated once or twice to animal dissection experiments(eg. fish, frog, shellfish, cuttlefish and chicken). And about half of teachers (57.4$\sim$64.9%) and some students(41.9%) felt ethical conflict in animal dissection. Second, many teachers(81.0%) and students(87.1%) thought that animal dissection was effective method to achieve the goal of biology education, but they needed more consideration on the respect for life in animal dissection experiment. Third, many teachers(88.3%) had students, who objected to animal dissection, participate obligatorily or passively. Fourth, teachers and students thought that audio-visual media such as video(teachers 63.5%, students 39.7%), computer simulations(teachers 31.7%, students 28.1%) and models(teachers 22.2%, students 24.1%) could be effective as alternatives. These findings suggest that animal dissection experiment, although it is needed to achieve the goal of biology education, requires careful consideration on the rights of animal and the respect for life, and alternatives for students who object to animal dissection in biology class.

  • In Weapons acquisition process, if the requirements are not clear, it leads to confusion and conflict in business. In the development of next-generation weapons, to define and derive requirements has to start from decision of operational concept. It is difficult task and has many uncertainties. This paper has goal about development of knowledge acquisition process that derive military operational scenario-based requirements acquisition process and framework that classify and save the derived requirements for next project. That framework can generate new class and category, also suggest that verification of requirements. It help to derive and manage the requirements, and make it easy to grasp the requirements. Accordingly, it can help make military requirement plan and weapon acquisition process.

부산지역 공공도서관 사서들의 직무스트레스에 관한 연구 (A Study of Job Stress among Librarians in Public Libraries in Pusan)

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm what the stress factors are in performing their jobs among librarians in Public libraries. The study further investigates to figure out the difference of the degree in cognition of job stress according to demographic characteristics of individuals and the impacts of the stress factors on job satisfaction. A survey was conducted for the study sending questionaires to 113 librarians working in 14 Public libraries in Pusan. The results of the study are followings: 1) Females experience higher job stress than males. 2) The younger the age, the higher the job stress. Also, the shorter the year at work, the higher the job stress. 3) The lower the license class, the higher the job stress. Also, singles than married have higher job stress. 4) In the impacts of stress factors on job satisfaction, role conflict is the most powerful factor, and then role overload, career development, role underload, role ambiguity and interpersonal relation, each in order.

차량 능동현가시스템에 대한 강인 제어 해석 (Analysis of an Robust Control for a Vehicle Active Suspension System)

  • A vehicle suspension system performs two functions, the ride quality and the stability, which conflict with each other. An active suspension system has an external energy source, from which energy is always supplied to the system for continuous control of vehicle motion. Therefore, an active suspension system can have even more improved performance. Some control laws have been proposed for active suspension system, but in this paper, an optimal variable structure control(VSC) is proposed. The VSC method is well suited for a class of nonlinear system and can address the robustness issues to constant modelling errors and disturbances. This paper develops an optimal VSC controller and compares its performance to those of a passive suspension system and an active suspension system with an optimal controller. The transient and frequency responses are analyzed respectively.

청소년의 또래폭력 귀인양식과 도덕적 판단에 대한 삽화연구 (Adolescents' Moral Reasoning & Attribution about Peer Violence)

  • To identify adolescents' moral reasoning and attribution about peer violence, vignette study was conducted. 178 subjects selected from 4 inner city schools were asked to evaluate provoked violent situations. 4 situations depicting the provocation/retribution condition and 3 short vignettes depicting peer violence were presented, and adolescents were asked to judge the violent behavior and the morality of story characters. Analyses revealed that many adolescents focused more on the immorality of the provocation and perceived "hitting back" as a form of reciprocal justice. And a number of adolescents attributed the responsibility to the both of prosecutors and victims with situations which have obscure informations to judge the violent behaviors. In addition, adolescents having more violent characteristics were more likely to attribute the responsibility of violence to the victims than non-violent adolescents. Several suggestions based on these results are as follows: First, school or class-based conflict resolution program should be implemented to intervene in a dispute between peers. Second, it is necessary for comprehensive program such as Aggression Replacement Training including moral education as well as behavior modification to resolve peer violence.

Sales Compensation and Recommendations as the Fund of the Month

  • This study analyzes whether mutual fund distributors are more likely to recommend products with higher sales compensation to maximize their profit. The lists of the 'fund of the month' on their webpages are utilized from April of 2015 to August of 2015. A simple comparative analysis shows that the average sales fees and the average front-end load are significantly higher in the recommended funds among the A share class of domestic equity funds. The results of a regression analysis confirm that funds with high sales compensation levels are more likely to be recommended. This holds true for both domestic equity funds and hybrid bond funds even after controlling for fund age, fund size, and past returns.

양육행동 및 형제관계와 아동의 자존감과의 관계 연구 : - 자존감에 대한 양육행동 및 형제관계의 독립적 기여와 상호작용 효과 - (Parental Childrearing, Behavior, Children's Sibling Relationships and Children's Self-Esteem)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how parental childrearing behavior and children's sibling relationships are related to children's self-esteem. 440 middle class families consisting of two children and their parents were the subjects of this study. The research instruments included a childrearing behavior questionnaire, the Sibling Relationships Questionnaire (Furman & Buhrmester, 1985), and the Self-Perception Profile for Children (Harter, 1985). Analyses of the data included correlation analysis, canonical correlation, regression, stepwise multiple regression, and MANOVA with stepwise discriminant analysis as the follow-up test. The most powerful predictors of children's self-esteem were the Warmth-Acceptance of childrearing behavior and the Warmth-Closeness of sibling relationships. The self-esteem dimension was best predicted by parental childrearing behavior and by children's sibling relationships was Global Self-Worth. Behavioral Conduct was best predicted by the Rejection-Restriction factor of childrearing, and by Conflict (for boys) and Rivalry (for girls) factors of sibling relationships. Children's self-esteem was related more strongly to the Warmth-Acceptance and the Rejection-Restriction of opposite-sex parents. The effects of Permissiveness-Nonintervention were stronger in same-sex parent-child dyads. Parental childrearing behaviors accounted for boy's self-esteem better than girl's with the exception of Behavioral Conduct. Sibling relationships accounted for girl's self-esteem better than boy's. The $2{\times}2$ MANOVA revealed interaction effects of parental childrearing behaviors and sibling relationships on children's self-esteem. Two factors of Rivalry and Conflict in sibling relationships and all three factors of childrearing behaviors showed significant interaction effects, The childrearing factor of Permissiveness-Nonintervention and the sibling factor of Rivalry, which were relatively weak predictors of self-esteem when acting alone, gained power in explaining children's self-esteem within the interactional context.

'유지'와 '변화' 사이에 위치한 한국 가족영화의 상징적 재현 -영화 <하녀>, <마부>에 재현된 상징들에 대하여- (Symbolic Aspects Reappearance in Korean Family Films which Float between 'Stay' and 'Change' -Symbols Reproduced by the Films and -)

  • 본고는 1960년 동시대 제작된 한국영화 두 편 <하녀>와 <마부>의 이미지를 바탕으로 계층에 따라 근대화 전이과정에서 나타난 교차징후의 상징성에 관해 탐구하였다. 이에 표현방식과 주제를 다루는 부분에서 사회적 계층의 확연한 차이를 보이는 <하녀>(1960)와 <마부>(1961)를 대상으로 영화가 재현하고 있는 근대화 전이과정의 혼재된 양상은 어떠한 형상을 취하고 재현을 통해 영화가 던져주는 당시의 메시지를 살펴보았다. 영화 <하녀>는 새로운 계층으로 등장한 중산층의 내면을 관찰자의 시선으로 바라보며 억압과 욕망으로 인해 해체양상을 드러낸 집단의 이면을 상징적으로 표현하면서 새로운 인식을 만들었다. 반면 <마부>는 사실적 묘사를 바탕으로 빈민층이 겪는 고단한 삶 속의 고통과 희망의 충돌을 보여주면서 주체성을 상실한 구성원들에게 새로운 인식으로 표현했다. 결국 두 편의 영화는 당시 근대화의 유입에 따른 혼재된 상황, 즉 구질서와 새로운 질서 사이에서 발생하는 충돌적 징후들로 인하여 생산되는 사회적 모순에 의한 사회문제에 대하여 우리에게 재인식의 기회를 제공한다고 볼 수 있다.

과학사 자료를 활용한 중학생들의 천동설에서 지동설로의 개념 변화 (Middle School Student’s Conceptual Change from Geocentricism to Heliocentricism Using Science History Materials)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중학생에게 과학사 자료를 활용한 인지 갈등 수업을 하였을 때 나타나는 ‘우주관’에 대한 개념 변화의 인지적 과정을 살펴보는 것이다. 연구 대상은 인지수준이 각각 상, 중, 하인 중학교 2학년 학생 남녀 4명을 표집 하였다. 매 차시별 수업 후 형성된 학생의 ‘우주관’ 개념에 대해 면담과 탐구 활동지 분석을 실시하였으며, 사전$\cdot$사후 개념 검사로 개념 변화 정도를 알아보았다. 연구결과 4명의 학생들이 가지고 있는 천문학적 선개념은 차이가 있었고 천체의 운동과 관련된 오개념도 다양하였다. 형식적 조작기와 전이단계 있는 학생은 과학사를 이용한 수업을 통하여 천동설에서 지동설로 개념 변화가 이루어졌다. 그에 비하여 구체적 조작기에 해당하는 학생의 선개념은 전반적으로 비과학적이거나 무개념 상태였으며, 인지 갈등을 일으킬 만한 현상을 제시하여도 개념 변화를 일으키지 못하는 등 과정에 어려움을 보였다. 이 단계의 학생에게는 새로운 자료를 제시하고 이를 설명하게 하는 인지 갈등 과정을 통하여 천동설에서 지동설로의 개념 변화를 일으켰다. 수업 처치 후 학생들의 개념 검사지의 성취도가 $10\%$ 이상 높아졌다. 이는 과학사 자료를 이용한 학습 지도가 과학적 개념 변화에 있어 효과적이라고 할 수 있다.

예비보육교사들의 보육실습 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 (A Study on the Factor's Affecting Pre-Service Childcare Teachers' Childcare Practice Satisfaction)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 예비보육교사들이 지각한 보육실습 스트레스와 보육실습 과정에서 느끼는 갈등이 보육실습 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 무엇인지를 알아보고자 하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 통계 패키지 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 평균과 표준편차를 구하였다. 또한 신뢰도 검증과 각 변인간의 관련성을 알아보기 위해 상관관계 분석 및 다면적 회귀분석 방법을 활용하였다. 연구결과에 대하여 첫째, 예비보육교사들의 보육실습 스트레스에서는 보육실습 스트레스 내용과 실습환경이, 보육실습 과정에서 느끼는 갈등은 유아와의 갈등과 자신과의 갈등이, 보육실습 만족도에서는 실습교과 및 실습지도와 실습환경이 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비보육교사들의 보육실습 스트레스, 보육실습 과정에서 느끼는 갈등, 보육실습 만족도 인식에서 통계적으로 유의미한 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비 보육교사들의 보육실습 스트레스와 보육실습 과정에서 느끼는 갈등의 하위요인이 보육실습 만족도의 하위요인 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과로 볼 때, 보육전공 학생들의 보육실습 스트레스와 보육실습 과정에서 느끼는 갈등을 덜 경험하도록 하는 철저한 실습전 교육 및 현장 직무중심 교육과정을 운영하여 보육실습 만족도가 향상되도록 효과적인 방안 모색 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.
