A Study on the Relationships between the Attitudes of University Students toward Money and the Attributes of Choosing Family Restaurants (대학생의 금전에 대한 태도에 따른 패밀리 레스토랑 선택 속성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between each type of attitudes toward money and the attributes of choosing family restaurants. A self-administrated questionnaire was completed by 387 students, and data were analysed by frequency, factor, reliability and canonical correlation. Seven factors were obtained from factor analysis of attitudes toward money; Factor 1 "power", Factor 2 "obsession", Factor 3 "retention", Factor 4 "achievement", Factor 5 "anxiety", Factor 6 "distrust", and Factor7 "evaluation". The attributes of family restaurant choice were extracted into six factors: Factor 1 "quality of food", Factor 2 "restaurant event", Factor 3 "interior environment", Factor 4 "value of food", Factor 5 "convenience for approach", and Factor 6 "employees' service". Canonical correlation analysis showed three significant functions. Canonical function 1 showed that the attitudes of considering the power of money, its retention and achievement were indicated to have significantly positive relationships with the quality of food in the attributes of choosing family restaurants. Canonical function 2 showed that significantly negative relationships between distrust and restaurant events and convenience for approach. Canonical function 3 also showed that significantly positive relationships between obsession and anxiety and the interior of restaurants and employees' service, and significantly negative relationships between evaluation and the interior of restaurants and employees' service.

Factors for Choice on Dental Care Facilities among Dental Patients in Dageu (대구지역 치과환자들의 치과 의료기관 선택기)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify if dental patients discriminate between dental clinic and dental hospital and the related factors for choice of dental facilities. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted from March 21 to April 11, 2011. Among 430 dental patients who visited dental clinic or dental hospital twice or more in Daegu, 410 dental patients were included in analysis. A total of 73.6% of the dental clinic visitors recognized correctly that the visiting facility was dental clinic and 82.3% of dental hospital visitors did correctly. Therefore, it can be said that dental hospital visitors recognize better the type of dental care facilities they visit. When it comes to choosing the dental facility, there were not much differences between the clinic and hospital patients in this study. Human resources, facilities and equipment, service are factors for choosing dental clinic and dental hospital in order. However, modern dental facility and equipment were more important factor for patients to choose dental hospital than clinic. It will be necessary for dental clinic or dental hospital to develop its own specific service to fulfill dental patients' needs through further studies on factors for choosing dental facilities.

  • The study aimed to define all the main determinants of writing a research paper in an integrated manner within the requirements of the science network journals, by introducing scientific research and the steps of writing a research paper, starting from choosing the title to writing the abstract, identifying the research problem, questions, importance and objectives of the study, how to choose previous studies, research methodology and tools, discussion and results In addition to determining the acceptable percentage of plagiarism for science network journals, recommendations, choosing appropriate references and choosing the appropriate references, in addition to determining the acceptable percentage of plagiarism for the journals of the Network of Science, the researcher used the method of analytical investigative research to find out the axes of the study and analyze different reference citation methods to deal with different sources of information (articles-books-theses-conference works-reviews), In addition to studying the most important international programs for measuring plagiarism ratios that are accredited within the journals of the Science Network, and the study concluded that the researcher must present original and innovative results, add an integrated and logical work, take into account all the scientific conditions in the design of the research, its steps and ethics, and take into account the international standards in citing Reference, taking into account the rates of plagiarism within Web of Science journals.

Effects of Childcare Teachers' Active Motivation for Choosing a Profession on the Quality of Interaction with Infants and Toddlers: Focusing on the Moderating Role of Emotional Dysregulation (영아교사의 능동적 직업선택동기가 영아와의 상호작용 질에 미치는 영향: 정서조절곤란의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of childcare teachers' active motivation for choosing a profession on the quality of their interaction with infants and toddlers, and to investigate the moderating effect of their emotional dysregulation. Methods: The subjects of this study were childcare teachers working with infants and toddlers. A mobile survey was conducted and a total of 282 sets of results have been collected. Moderating effects have been explored with the use of PROCESS Macro (version 3.5) Model 1. Results: The main findings showed that childcare teachers' emotional dysregulation played a moderating role in the effect of childcare teachers' active motivation on the quality of interaction with infants and toddlers. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study imply that the ability of childcare teachers working with infants and toddlers to regulate their emotions can simultaneously play a role as a protective factor as well as a risk factor for the quality of interaction. Also, it was revealed that is necessary to give pre-service teachers an opportunity to deliberate on their motivations for a childcare teacher position.

The Influence of Guilt on Preference towards Imported Products: Focusing on Chinese Consumers (소비자의 죄책감이 수입품 선호에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 중국 소비자를 중심으로)

  • Purpose - This paper investigates how consumers' feelings of guilt affect their preference for imported products. Choosing imported products over domestic products reveals that consumers' motivation is to improve themselves. This study also tries to examine whether choosing imported goods has a restorative effect on feelings of guilt. Design/methodology/approach - We ran two experiments to test our hypothesis. Participants were recruited in China and the data analysis software used in this study was SPSS 26.0 for analysis. Findings - The results show that consumers with guilt feelings are more likely to import products than to consume domestic products, the second result shows that choosing imported products has an effect on guilt. In addition, consumers with low self-efficacy in a guilty condition prefer imported products to domestic products. Research implications or Originality - Based on previous research that focused on how guilt activates consumers' self-improvement goals, this study shows that when consumers experience feelings of guilt, they prefer imported products to reduce their negative feelings. These findings are discussed in the light of their implications for research on consumer self-motivation and ways of coping with it.

  • Purpose: The work of Dental technician which is part of national dental health, is more specialized recently. This research provides fundamental data from analyzing student's career consciousness according to needs of a career education. Here is the conclusion of the analysis about student's career consciousness, that is for a right choice of career. Methods: This study did questionnaire to a dental Laboratory Technology student who locate in Taegu. Question response student number was 570 people. Response contents analyzed to 506 people except imperfect questionnaire. Data used windows sas 8.0 program and did descriptive statistical analysis. Results: There is a meaningful difference in what they want to know about an occupation according to ages. (${\rho}$ < 0.01) All ages are similar to their occupational thinking, however they who are under twenties consider working environment. Most motives of an entrance are similar, there is a meaningful difference. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) According to a grade of college, there is a meaningful difference how to obtain informations of a career. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) Sophomores and juniors obtain information from seniors or family, however freshmen obtain from the internet because of an accessibility. There is a meaningful difference of a job meaning between men and women. (${\rho}$ < 0.01) Men are working for a means of living. But women give weight to a self-development. The older they grow, the more they know about their aptitude. Selecting subjects are different choosing time & motive. According to ages and where they are from, there is a meaningful difference how much know about their aptitude. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) Older Students know more than young students. Selecting subjects are different choosing time & motive. In accordance with a grade, ages, and where they are from, there are different degrees about how much know their interests. There is a meaningful difference of a choosing major period and choosing informations. (${\rho}$ < 0.01) And also there is a meaningful difference where they are from and why they enter to College. (${\rho}$ < 0.001) Conclusion: Although we know that a career education is very important, however lots of students select a career without their aptitude & interest & character. We need to teach a career education systematically; considering students career consciousness, with a proper career guidance, cultivating career consciousness.

Examining ways to support engineering students for choosing a project topic in interdisciplinary collaboration (공대 학생들의 프로젝트 주제 선정을 위한 초기 교수학습 지원 방안 탐구)

  • The purposes of the study were to examine engineering students' concerns and problems while they were choosing a project topic in interdisciplinary collaboration and to suggest ways to support them in an early stage of collaboration phase. To answer the research questions, we conducted a case study with engineering participants in GCTI 2015, an interdisciplinary collaborative and creative group project. Multiple data sources including focus group interviews, online survey and researchers' observation notes were used to triangulate research findings. We found four main concerns of engineering students. These concerns include (1) lack of self-efficacy, (2) limited resources, (3) lack of shared, meaningful, and common goals, and (4) lack of content knowledge. Based on these concerns we proposed four supports in an early stage of the collaborative project. These supports includes (1) implementing an orientation program, (2) providing opportunities for social interactions, (3) providing expert feedback, and (4) providing consultation for team building.

A Concept on Seat Assignment Systems

  • This paper presents a concept on seat assignment systems. The concept is based on the assumption that customers or passengers prefer to select seats at their own choosing and allowing them to do so would fragment remaining seats. This undesirable condition may make a group of people intending to be seated together unable to find a sufficient number of consecutive seats. The concept proposed is to set aside a number of seats when the map of available seats is shown for customer's selection. A number of functions are created to allot seats to be visible for choosing according to the number and locations of the remaining seats and the number in the group of the passengers. Passengers' preferences such as window or aisle seating, front seating are taken into accounts. A primitive example of seat assignment system of a Boeing 717 aircraft, assuming the number of passengers in a group being 1, 2 or 3, is given based on the concept.
