물리보안 전공 대학생들의 선택 동기가 전공만족도 및 진로결정에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Security Major University Students' Major Selection Motivation on Major Satisfaction and Career Decision)

  • 본 연구는 물리보안전공 대학생들의 전공 선택 동기가 전공만족도 및 진로결정에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 설문조사를 수행하였다. 설문내용은 "첫째, 선택 동기, 둘째, 전공만족도, 셋째, 진로결정"으로 작성하였다. 본 연구에서는 변수의 신뢰도 및 중요도 분석, 탐색적 요인 등을 살펴보기 위해 Chronbach's Alpha 수치를 산출하고 베리맥스(Berimax) 방식을 실시하였다. 측정항목들의 AVE 값과 CR 값 모두 기준치 0.7 이상으로 산출되어 각 항목들의 집중타당성이 우호적인 것으로 조사되었다. 가설검증결과에서 표준화계수를 보면 '선택 동기 ⇨ 전공만족도'는 0.653으로, '전공만족도 ⇨ 진로결정'은 0.403으로 산출되어 두 연구가설은 채택되었으나 '선택 동기 ⇨ 진로결정'은 0.392로 기각되었다. 향후 경호전공 대학생들의 진로결정을 향상시키기 위해서는 선택 동기와 전공만족도를 동시에 높여주기 위해 대학과 관련 교수들의 노력이 더욱 필요해 보인다.

대학 졸업을 앞둔 학생선수의 진로준비과정을 위한 진로프로그램 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Career Program for Senior Student-Athletes in College)

  • 본 연구는 A 대학 4학년 학생선수들을 대상으로 3회기에 걸친 진로프로그램을 시행하고 그 효과성을 검증하였다. Super와 Ginsberg의 진로발달이론과 Holland의 직업선택이론을 기반으로 하여 진로프로그램을 구성하였으며 90분씩 3주에 걸쳐 진행됐다. 연구에 참여한 학생선수는 총 13명이며 운동 종목은 야구, 럭비, 하키, 피겨이다. 학생선수는 운동을 그만두었을 때 운동선수 이외의 다른 직업에 대한 준비가 쉽지 않다는 문제점에 기반하여 본 프로그램은 학생선수들이 졸업 후 가질 수 있는 직업들은 무엇인지 탐색할 수 있게 하고 그를 통해 진로 준비의 효능감을 높이는 것을 주목적으로 하였다. 프로그램을 통해 학생선수들의 자기 이해가 향상되었으며 진로 태도 성숙의 준비성이 향상되었다. 또한, 학생선수들의 진로결정 자기효능감이 프로그램 시행 전과 비교하여 유의미하게 향상되었다. 그러나 학생들의 진로 스트레스는 프로그램 전과 비교하여 유의미하게 줄어들지 않았다. 비교적 단기간의 진로프로그램이지만 학생선수들이 학령기 동안 경험하기 힘들었던 자신에 대한 이해와 직업정보에 대한 탐색은 그들의 진로준비에 효과적으로 도움이 된다는 것이 발견되었다. 마지막으로 학생선수들을 위한 진로프로그램의 개발과 시행의 필요성과 본 연구의 의의 및 한계점 등이 논의되었다.

중학생들의 과학과 과학 학습에 대한 이미지와 과학 진로 선택 사이의 관계 (The Relationship between Students' Images of Science and Science Learning and Their Science Career Choices)

  • 본 연구에서는 학생들의 그림을 이용하여 과학자와 과학 학습자의 활동에 대한 이미지를 분석하고, 과학진로 선택과 어떤 관계가 있는지 살펴보았다. 중학교 1학년 학생 163명을 대상으로 DAST와 DASLT를 실시하였고, 과학 관련 진로에 대한 설문조사를 하였다. 수집한 학생들의 그림을 DAST-C와 DASLT-C를 이용하여 코딩하였고, 그 중 과학 진로를 선택하겠다고 응답한 학생과 그렇지 않은 학생 사이에 유의미한 차이를 보이는 요소를 찾아 이를 그림과 설문 응답 내용을 바탕으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 과학에 대한 이미지를 구성하고 있는 다양한 요소 중에서 과학 진로와 보다 밀접한 관련이 있는 요소는 과학자의 '표정', '실험복' 착용 여부, '기이한 모습', '지식 상징', '기술 상징', '연구 인원', '위험성', 'STS'적인 측면인 것으로 나타났다. 과학학습에 대한 이미지를 구성하는 요소 중에서는 과학학습자의 '표정', 수업 시간에 이루어지는 '학습 형태', '탐구 상징'과 '학습 장소'에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 본 연구는 결과에 근거하여 학생들의 과학과 과학 학습에 대한 긍정적 이미지 형성과 과학 관련진로 선택에 교육적 시사점을 제공할 수 있다.

  • 오늘날의 급변하는 경영환경 속에서 기업들은 생존을 위해 유연성을 확보해야 한다. 특히 한국기업들은 1997년 이후 IMF라는 경제적 위기를 겪으면서 인적자원 관행을 보다 합리적이고 효율적으로 설계하지 않으면 안되었다. 이러한 변화는 기업들이 그간의 불합리한 경영관행을 근절하고 조직의 유연성과 글로벌 경쟁력을 증진시키는 계기가 되었으나 그에 따른 부작용도 나타났다. 특히 고용불안이 가중되고 있는 오늘날의 조직에서 평생직장의 개년이 사라짐에 따라 구성원은 승진이나 임금보다는 노동시장에서의 고용가능성과 자신의 경력관리의 필요성에 대한 심리적인 만족을 중요시하고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 공공조직을 대상으로 한 경력몰입에 대한 연구가 부족하다는 점에 착안하여 향후 실증분석을 위한 토대로서 경력몰입과 관련된 제 변수들을 고찰하였다.

From Jane Eyre to Eliza Doolittle: Women as Teachers

  • The pedagogical dynamic dramatized in Shaw's Pygmalion, which sets man as a distinct pedagogical authority and woman his subject spawning similarly patterned plays many decades later, has been relatively overlooked in the play's criticism clouded by its predominantly mythical theme. Shaw stages Eliza's pedagogical subordination to Higgins followed by her Nora-esque exit with the declaration, "I'll go and be a teacher." The central premise of this article is that the pioneering modern playwright and feminist's pedagogical rewriting of A Doll's House sets out a historical dialogue between Eliza, a new woman who repositions herself as a teacher renouncing her earlier subordinate pedagogical position that is culturally ascribed to women while threatening to replace her paternal teacher, and her immediate precursors, that is, Victorian women teachers whose professional career was socially "anathematized." Through a historical probe into the social status of Victorian women teachers, the article attempts to align their abortive career with Eliza's new womanly re-appropriation of the profession of teaching. With Pygmalion as the starting point of its query, this article conducts a historical survey on the literary representation of pedagogical women from the mid to late Victorian era to the turn of the century. Reading a wide selection of novels and plays alongside of Pygmalion (1912), such as Jane Eyre (1847), A Doll's House (1879), An Enemy of the People (1882), The Odd Women (1893), and The Importance of Being Earnest (1895), it contextualizes Eliza's resolution to be a teacher within the history of female pedagogy. This historical contextualization of the career choice of one of the earliest new women characters in modern drama helps appraise the historical significance of such choice.

4차 산업혁명을 대비한 고등학교 가정과 선택 교육과정 편성 방안 탐색 (Exploration on the Organization of High School Home Economics Selective Curriculum for the Fourth Industrial Revolution)

  • This study explored the organization of high school Home Economics (HE) selective curriculum for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. We critically review the change process of HE curriculum as well as problems based on the understanding of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The results were as follows. First, regarding the characteristic consistently shown in the revision process of high school curriculum, the huge increase of the number of subject organized resulted from the intensification of the selective-centered curriculum strengthening the choice for school and students. However, HE was reduced to some 'Technology-Home Economics' subject and a single subject 'HE Science' as a selective subject was subsequently combined with Technology after the $7^{th}$ curriculum period. Consequently, HE hard to organize the career-focused curriculum, emphasized by the revised 2015 curriculum due to the insufficient number of subjects. Second, the choice of HE in high school curriculum should be expanded as measures to organize the HE curriculum of high school to cope with changes that result from the Fourth Industrial Revolution. For the operation of the career-focused curriculum, career selective subjects and specialized subjects should be more diversely established. In accordance with changes in a future society that results from the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the HE education community should be prepared in advance to be organized as a selective subject when revising a subsequent curriculum, by newly establishing subjects necessary to students through collective intelligence and deliberation with pedagogists and scholars for subject content as well as by producing/getting approval from government-recognized textbooks.

전문대학생의 진로의식에 관한 연구 - D대학 치기공과 재학생을 중심으로 - (The research on the Career Consciousness of the College Students (revolve around D College Dental Technology Student))

  • Purpose: The work of Dental technician which is part of national dental health, is more specialized recently. This research provides fundamental data from analyzing student's career consciousness according to needs of a career education. Here is the conclusion of the analysis about student's career consciousness, that is for a right choice of career. Methods: This study did questionnaire to a dental Laboratory Technology student who locate in Taegu. Question response student number was 570 people. Response contents analyzed to 506 people except imperfect questionnaire. Data used windows sas 8.0 program and did descriptive statistical analysis. Results: There is a meaningful difference in what they want to know about an occupation according to ages. (${\rho}$ < 0.01) All ages are similar to their occupational thinking, however they who are under twenties consider working environment. Most motives of an entrance are similar, there is a meaningful difference. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) According to a grade of college, there is a meaningful difference how to obtain informations of a career. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) Sophomores and juniors obtain information from seniors or family, however freshmen obtain from the internet because of an accessibility. There is a meaningful difference of a job meaning between men and women. (${\rho}$ < 0.01) Men are working for a means of living. But women give weight to a self-development. The older they grow, the more they know about their aptitude. Selecting subjects are different choosing time & motive. According to ages and where they are from, there is a meaningful difference how much know about their aptitude. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) Older Students know more than young students. Selecting subjects are different choosing time & motive. In accordance with a grade, ages, and where they are from, there are different degrees about how much know their interests. There is a meaningful difference of a choosing major period and choosing informations. (${\rho}$ < 0.01) And also there is a meaningful difference where they are from and why they enter to College. (${\rho}$ < 0.001) In accordance with a grade, ages, and where they are from, there are different degrees about how much know their aptitude. There is a meaningful difference of a choosing major period. (${\rho}$ < 0.01) And also there is a meaningful difference why they enter to College. (${\rho}$ < 0.001) Conclusion: Although we know that a career education is very important, however lots of students select a career without their aptitude & interest & character. We need to teach a career education systematically; considering students career consciousness, with a proper career guidance, cultivating career consciousness.

간호대학생의 진로탐색과정: 예비간호사의 진짜 간호사 찾아가기 (Career Exploration Process of Nursing Student in Clinical Practice: A Voyage to Find the Authentic Nurse of Pre-registration Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study is to understand the experiences of career exploration among nursing students during their clinical practice and to develop a theoretical framework for the career exploration process. Methods: From February 2 to 28, 2015, data were collected through focus group interviews from 24 participating fourth-year nursing students. The data were analyzed using grounded theory. Results: The central phenomenon of 'confusion between the ideal and the reality of nursing' occurred in contexts for various reasons of choosing one's major, nurses in the ideal, a vague fear of the field, arduous nursing assignments in the field, and severe adversity in the nursing field. Nursing students tried to deal with their confusion by using interaction strategies such as pursuing the intrinsic value of nursing, finding role models, trying to project oneself, and preparing for adapting to reality. The career exploration process in clinical practice was a voyage to discover the authentic nurse of the pre-registration nurse. Conclusion: This result shows that nursing students were to gain confidence in their career choices by finding the value of nursing and interacting with patients. Therefore, opportunities for learning experiences about interaction with patients and various positive experiences in clinical practice should be provided for nursing students.

  • A Study of Factors Affecting on High School Students’Choice of ’The Science of Home-Economics’Course in the 7th National Curriculum The purpose of this study is to explore what kind of factors make high school students decide to select ‘The Science of Home Economics’as one of the course among various in-depth elective courses in high school curriculum. an empirical survey was conducted by administering a structured survey questionnaire to 463 male and female students who attend in a college-bound high school in Taegu. The major findings are as follows: 1) There were significant differences between the choice group of ‘The Science of Home Economics’and non-choice group of ‘The Science of Home Economics’in learning motivation to 5 units of ‘The Science of Home Economics’student’s perception of the traditional role and progressive role of Home Economics education impression of Home Economics teachers, mother’s academic career, academic achievement in general and mother’s request for selection of ‘The Science of Home Economics’as an elective course. 2) Significant variables which influenced students’selection of ‘The Science of Home Economics’relatively were, in descending order, student’s perception of the progressive role of home economics education. impression of Home Economics teachers. coeducational schooling. student’s learning motivation to the ‘food’unit. student’s attitude for sex-role, academic achievement in general and mother’s request for selection of ‘The Science of Home Economics’as an elective course.

공공병원으로 이직한 경력간호사의 병원선택 동기, 직무만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on Choice Motives and Job Satisfaction about Nurses who Changed Jobs to Public Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study was performed for the effective management of nursing organization as surveyed choice motives and job satisfaction about nurses who changed to public hospitals. Methods: This study is a descriptive study. This study surveyed 214 nurses who changed jobs to public hospital in six Gyeonggi-do hospitals from October 23 to November 20, 2015. The collected data were analyzed for descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, sheffe test, multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: Most of the nurses chose public hospitals due to benefits correspond to public officials. They had worked in general hospitals located on provinces and changed jobs due to a heavy workload and low benefits. Of the participants 84.1% were satisfied with changing jobs to public hospitals and the advantages of public hospitals of their choice were job stability and good employee benefits(guaranteed maternity and paternity leave, etc). On the other hand there were complaints about low salaries compared to the workload after changing jobs to public hospitals. Conclusion: Hospitals need to enhance job stability and provide nurses with good employee benefits to reduce turnover rate.
