  • The inverted pendulum system is mechanical system which can handle the modern control theory and practical applications. In theoretical field, it is used as the experimental device identifying the effects of control method and in applicative field. There are difficulties in designing or linearizing the practical controller because it is so sensitive to the parameter variation and has the highly non-linear characteristic. In this paper, we suggested the systems which compensate the non-linearity throughout the internal control method and designed controller which is robust to the parameter variation using sliding mode.

  • In this study a heavy duty diesel engine was modified into a 11-liter 6-cylinder SPI CNG dedicated engine, which was tested to investigate the performance and exhaust emission under the maximum load condition as the engine speed was increased in the range of 1,000∼2,200 rpm. The exhaust emission was also measured at D-13 mode as well as AVL-8 mode.

  • The modal analysis based on deformations is the method to drived dynamic responsed from superposition of natural frequency and mode shape. In order to free vibration analysis of the structures, Aluminum-made model is used in experiment. The dynamic characteristic of the structures are determined from acceleration measurements using impulse hammer. Experimenrt input and output signal are derive from impact hammer and the one accerometer. This paper present three methods for calculating the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the structure with theory value and finite element analysis, experiment. The results were good approximated about natural frequency and mode shape.

  • The chiral separation of multiple ${\beta}$-blockers is described for their accurate chiral discrimination by chiral capillary electrophoresis (CE). The cyc1odextrin-modified CE system was operated in the reversed polarity mode. In this mode, fairly good enantiomeric resolutions were achieved. Relative migration times to internal standard under optimum conditions were characteristic of each enantiomer with good precision. Therefore, in this study, the usefulness for the chiral separation and accurate identification will be discussed.

  • Rapid urbanization occurred a variety of transportation problems. Parking problem is one of the most problems of transportation problem then transportation engineers would get involved in trying to solve parking problem. A way to overcome a variety of parking problems needs preliminary data for conditions of parking but it lacks the preliminary data to do so. Thus this study analyzed a characteristic of a parking through a field survey for parking in Daegu Metropolitan City and Ulsan Metropolitan City. This study analyzed parking turnover, parking use ratio and parking basic unit for characteristic of a parking of each use districts and each cities. This study result reveals difference between the use districts' parking characteristic and cities' parking characteristic. Thus a close examination for use districts' parking characteristic and cities' parking characteristic is a prerequisite for a rational parking policy.

  • It is recently trend that local government which introduce the BIS is increasing steadily. Communication is inevitably necessary to offer a data of a collected bus position to transportation center and supply construed information. Until now, most BIS connection research is actively in data of collecting, processing, offer but Research is Relatively insufficient on communication mode to connect it. Therefore, this study is achieving applicable communication mode on BIS of present common use inning that communication mode. Study resulting, characteristic of BIS communication mode is analyzed that send-receive of short packet data happens frequently and It is inevitably necessary to synthetically analyze economical side, authoritativeness side of communication, introducing communication mode.

  • We described a method of resonant mode identification in dielectric-disc loaded cylindrical cavity resonators. The characteristic equations are solved using the ContourPlot graph of Mathematica. Contour graph method uses graphical method. It is comparable with numerical method. The numerical method is very difficult mode identification. The analysis is based on the approximated electromagnetic representation which is only concentrated on the calculation of resonant frequencies, and a mode identification of resonant frequencies has not been covered. However, It is possible to calculate precise resonant frequencies and to identify the mode of resonant frequencies using the contour graph method. The contour graph method is not a method using approximated representation of electromagnetic field variation at the outer area of dielectric in the resonators. It is a method using enact representation.
