유한요소 모델링을 이용한 틸팅터릿 시스템의 진동특성해석 (Dynamic Characteristic Analysis of Tilting Turret Systems Using Finite Element Modeling)

  • In multi-purpose lathe, the design of tilting turret slide system has an important and critical role to enhance accuracy of the machining process. Tilting turret unit is traveled by 3-axis slide systems. There is a need to design this part very carefully. In this research, 3-axis sliding system with tilting turret unit is modeled by considering the element dividing, material proprties, and boundary conditions with PATRAN. Normal mode and frequency analysis of each structures such as saddle, cared, and turret are simulated by NASTRAN, for the purpose of developing the effective design. The results of mode analysis and frequency analysis are visualized with PATRAN, and the design method which can solve the resornance problem by eigenvalues and eigenvectors of each axis is developed as well.

  • Development of a model predictive control(MPC) algorithm and its application to the condensate recycle process of a cogeneration power station has been conducted. The cogeneration power station has different characteristics from other industrial processes where MPC has been dominantly applied in that the operating mode changes continuously with seasons and we Ether. Such a characteristic makes it difficulty, a linearized model was derived from mass and pressure balances and linearization. The MPC algorithm has been developed so that the controller tuning is easy with one tuning knob for each output and the constrained optimization is solved by an interior point method. Performance of the MPC algorithm has been verified with the numerically simulated process under various disturbance scenarios and mode changes.

  • Recently the power supply equipments have tendency to take multiple feedback loop paths. In this paper, the state space averaging technique is applied for the analysis of flyback type current mode control circuit. We made real converter for the gurantee of stable output characteristic and proper design of feedback circuit. The validity of proposed method is verified from test results. The improvement of stability is confirmed by sinusoidal signal injection method with isolated transformer. It is known that phase margin is sufficient and gain crossover frequency $f_c$, is nearly 1/5 of switching frequency $f_s$, from the experimental result with frequency response analyzer.

  • An electrostatic boundary-value problem of a dielectric-wedge-backed, double-slotted conducting wedge is investigated to analyze an asymmetric coplanar waveguide with an infinite dielectric thickness using the Mellin transform and a mode-matching method. Our theoretical solution based on eigenfunction expansion and residue calculus is a rigorous and fast-convergent series form. Numerical computations are conducted to evaluate the potential field, capacitance, and characteristic impedance for various structures of the asymmetric coplanar waveguide. The computed results show good agreement with the simulated results.

  • 본 논문에서는 BSA(Basic Service Area)에 독립적으로 분산되어 있는 이동단말기들을 대상으로 기존 STM(Synchronous Transfer Mode)에서의 유휴채널을 이용하여 다른 트래픽을 지원하므로 서 이용률을 극대화시킬 수 있는 통계적 다중화 기능을 무선매체를 통해 확장하는 기능을 수행하는 무선 ATM 망에서의 매체접근제어 프로토콜과 멀티미디어 서비스특성에 따른 기존 유선망 기반에서의 고정할당방식(연결 지향적) 및 랜덤할당방식(비연결지향적)을 개선하기 위한 동적 예약 기반의 매체접근제어 프로토콜에 대해 제시한다.

  • An ultrasonic linear motor was composed of a slider and a stator vibrator including piezoelectric material and elastic material. The ultrasonic linear motors mainly consist of an ultrasonic vibrator which generates elliptical oscillations. L$_1$-B$_4$ ultrasonic linear motor use longitudinal and bending multi-vibration. In order to low driving voltage and improve the life time of the ultrasonic oscillator, we used stacked piezoceramics. Stacked piezoceramics are adhered to aluminum elastic material. The finite element method was used to optimize dimension of ultrasonic vibrator and direction of vibratory displacement. As a result of estimating the characteristics of the ultrasonic linear motor, no-load velocity was 2.04[m/s] when applied voltage was 70[V$\sub$rms/] in resonance frequency.

Single-Stage Double-Buck Topologies with High Power Factor

  • This paper presents two topologies for single-stage single-phase double-buck type PFC converters, designed to operate at high power factor, near sinusoidal input currents and adjustable output voltage. Unlike the known buck type PFC topologies, in which the output voltage is always lower than the maximum input voltage, the proposed converters can operate at output voltages higher than the ac input peak voltage. A reduced number of switches on the main path of the current are another characteristic of the two proposed topologies. To shape the input line currents, a fast and robust controller based on a sliding mode approach is proposed. This active non-linear control strategy, applied to these converters allows high quality input currents. A Proportional Integral (PI) controller is adopted to regulate the output voltage of the converters. This external voltage controller modulates the amplitude of the sinusoidal input current references. The performances of the presented rectifiers are verified with experimental results.

  • A new power quality disturbance generator is proposed. The proposed scheme overcomes the problem of voltage drop of the conventional generator in normal mode. Therefore, the output voltage of the proposed generator is constant in normal mode and the efficiency of the series transformer is improved. The proposed generator has good feature of simple structure, cost effective implementation, high reliability and easy control. The usefulness of the scheme is verified through simulation and experiments.

  • The characteristic of load-distribution is investigated by using nonlinear analysis with a field loading test of existing bridge In this study, nonlinear load-distribution technique for quantitative analysis was adopted. The results were compared with linear solution technique with data from failure test at existing RCT-girder bridge and examine the adequacy of the failure mode. The results of this study showed that the linear solution technique and the proposed nonlinear solution technique agreed well in linear region but did not matched well in nonlinear region because of load-redistribution, and that the effect of load-redistribution was considered to analysis of nonlinear region by linear solution.

  • We have studied color tracking of a fringe-field driven homogenously aligned nematic liquid crystal (LC) cell with negative dielectric anisotropy and compared it with other devices such as the twisted nematic(TN) and in-plane switching(IPS) modes. According to studies, the TN device shows bluish color at grey scale and even at a low retardation cell it cannot avoid color tracking. The authentic IPS device having cell retardation value of 0.23 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ also shows bluish white color. However, the FFS device shows excellent color tracking characteristics even at high retardation value of the cell while keeping high transmittance and greenish white.
