A 3D scanner scans and captures the shape of a real-world object. The captured shape can be used to construct three-dimensional model for CAD/CAM applications. In this study we have tried to design a cell phone cover by using the 3D scanner and reverse engineering. A 3D scanner is used to capture the shape of a cell phone. The 3D scanner generates a point cloud as the shape information. A three-dimensional CAD model for the cell phone is constructed from the point cloud. A cell phone cover is designed based on the CAD model of the cell phone. To check the integrity of this design process a prototype of the cover is made and assembled with the cell phone.

Purpose: This study was done to develop a cell phone addiction scale for Korean adolescents. Methods: The process included construction of a conceptual framework, generation of initial items, verification of content validity, selection of secondary items, preliminary study, and extraction of final items. The participants were 577 adolescents in two middle schools and three high schools. Item analysis, factor analysis, criterion related validity, and internal consistency were used to analyze the data. Results: Twenty items were selected for the final scale, and categorized into 3 factors explaining 55.45% of total variance. The factors were labeled as withdrawal/tolerance (7 items), life dysfunction (6 items), and compulsion/persistence (7 items). The scores for the scale were significantly correlated with self-control, impulsiveness, and cell phone use. Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the 20 items was .92. Scale scores identified students as cell phone addicted, heavy users, or average users. Conclusion: The above findings indicate that the cell phone addiction scale has good validity and reliability when used with Korean adolescents.

Objectives : There has been gradually increasing concern about the adverse health effects of electromagnetic radiation originating from cell phones which are widely used in modern life. Cell phone radiation may affect human health by increasing free radicals of human blood cells. This study has been designed to identify DNA damage of blood cells by electromagnetic radiation caused by cell phone use. Methods : This study investigated the health effect of acute exposure to commercially available cell phones on certain parameters such as an indicator of DNA damage for 14 healthy adult volunteers. Each volunteer during the experiment talked over the cell phone with the keypad facing the right side of the face for 4 hours. The single cell gel electrophoresis assay (Comet assay), which is very sensitive in detecting the presence of DNA strand-breaks and alkali-labile damage in individual cells, was used to assess peripheral blood cells (T-cells, B-cells, granulocytes) from volunteers before and after exposure to cell phone radiation. The parameters of Comet assay measured were Olive Tail Moment and Tail DNA %. Results : The Olive Tail Moment of B-cells and granulocytes and Tail DNA % of B-cells and granulocytes were increased by a statistically significant extent after 4-hour use of a cell phone compared with controls. Conclusion : It is concluded that cell phone radiation caused the DNA damage during the 4 hours of experimental condition. Nonetheless, this study suggested that cell phone use may increase DNA damage by electromagnetic radiation and other contributing factors.

휴대전화는 이제 성인이면 누구나 가지고 있는 필수품이 되었다. 사용자들이 휴대전화를 구매하는 시점에서 중요시 생각하는 것은 크게 외관적 속성, 내부적 속성 두 가지로 나누어 진다. 이 두 가지 중 첫눈에 먼저 들어오는 것이 외관적 속성이다. 이러한 외관적인 속성을 구성하는 요소 중 무게는 다른 외관적 속성(크기, 색, 버튼수 등)들과는 다르게 눈으로 보이지는 않지만 사용자가 휴대전화를 들어보았을 때 느끼는 감성에 큰 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 휴대전화의 무게에 따라 사용자들이 느끼는 감성과 그 중 고급감을 느끼는 특정 무게에 대해 알아보았다. 이와 더불어 사용자가 선호하는 무게의 정도를 알아보았다. 그 결과 불쾌감 등의 부정적인 감성은 무게가 무거울수록 더 많이 느끼는 것으로 드러났고, 긍정적인 감성은 휴대전화가 가벼울수록 증가하였지만 무게가 너무 가벼우면 오히려 존재감이 없다는 의견이었다. 선호도를 조사한 결과 휴대전화의 무게가 가벼울수록 선호도가 높아지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 하지만 고급감에 있어서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 본 실험은 휴대전화 제작 시 컨셉에 맞춰 무게를 활용해 볼 수 있다는데 그 함의가 있다.

Rapid popularization of smart cell phone equipped with camera has led to a number of new legal and criminal problems related to multimedia such as digital image, which makes cell phone source identification an important branch of digital image forensics. This paper proposes a classifier combination based source identification strategy for cell phone images. To identify the outlier cell phone models of the training sets in multi-class classifier, a one-class classifier is orderly used in the framework. Feature vectors including color filter array (CFA) interpolation coefficients estimation and multi-feature fusion is employed to verify the effectiveness of the classifier combination strategy. Experimental results demonstrate that for different feature sets, our method presents high accuracy of source identification both for the cell phone in the training sets and the outliers.

Many corporations will get much mote benefits if they investigate the model deciding to purchasing mobile phone in that cell phone of our country has about 20% of market share in the world market. Considering this situation to divide cell phone market between CDMA and GSM in world market, it is not easy to make cell phone to satisfy the suitable method which each country wants. Through this study, we anticipate that it will offer the measuring method about consumer purchasing decision of each country. The research is to study how it is Effected by any factor when comsumer selects product and make research model. Based on the research model, we is to make a question. The research Is to complete the theoretical system on the basis of records about the cell phone and to study the improvement strategic using AHP and Conjoint Analysis which analyzes the consuming trend to customer's cell phone.

Corresponding to the high consumption rate of the selfie stick for cell phone camera, the design of the product is becoming diverse. However, relatively low cost selfie stick models are not strong enough to stand the weight of the cell phone. This results into a bending of the stick or the accidental fall of the cell phone by the failure of the holding unit. As a solution to the problem, design of selfie stick that is structurally strong enough to stand the weight of the cell phone with the minimum weight for the portability is proposed in this paper.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of cell phone addiction on communication skills and the interpersonal relationship ability of adolescents. Methods: The researcher recruited 751 high school students to assess their general characteristics, communication skills, cell phone addiction and interpersonal relationship ability. Data were collected from June 30 to July 14 in 2014 using copies of a structured self report questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and linear multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 IBM program. Results: Of the students, 3.5% reported they were addicted users, and 7.6% reported they were heavy users. Results from multiple regression analysis showed that cell phone addiction did not have any influence on communication skills of the adolescents. However, cell phone addiction mostly affected the interpersonal relationship ability of the adolescents (${\beta}=.24$, p<.001). Poor school performance (${\beta}=.17$, p<.001) and low socioeconomic status (${\beta}=.12$, p<.05) were also related to the interpersonal skills of the adolescents. These variables explained 8.3% of the variance in the interpersonal skills of the adolescents. Conclusion: These results suggest that cell phone addiction has a negative influence on the development of the interpersonal relationship ability of adolescents. The findings of this study are expected to provide basic data about the influence of cell phone addiction on the interpersonal relationship ability of adolescents. Therefore, cell phone addiction treatment programs for adolescents need to include contents related to interpersonal relationship ability.

고령화의 가속화에 따라 독거노인들의 수도 증가하고 있다. 독거노인들은 동거노인들에 비하여 사회적 지지가 낮고 사회적으로 더 고립되어 우울 유병율이 더욱 높다. 본 연구는 기술의 발달과 정보화의 진전에 따라 노인들의 휴대폰 보유율이 높아지면서 휴대폰이 노인들의 사회적 지지와 연결의 수단이 될 수 있을 것으로 보고, 2014년 노인실태조사 자료를 활용하여 독거노인들의 휴대폰 활용정도가 우울에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 총 2,493명의 65세 이상 독거노인을 분석 대상으로 하였으며 휴대폰 활용 정도는 (1) 휴대폰 없음, (2) 통화기능만 이용, (3) 통화/문자기능 이용, (4) 통화/문자와 정보검색까지 이용으로 나누어 구분하였고 공변량은 성별, 나이, 교육수준, 건강상태, 경제수준, 사회활동으로 하였다. 연구 결과 81.5%의 독거노인이 휴대폰을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 휴대폰을 가진 독거노인들 중 정보검색까지 하는 군은 3.5%를 차지하였으며, 정보검색까지 하는 군이 휴대폰이 없는 군에 비하여 우울의 가능성이 더 낮은 것으로 나타났다(OR=0.064, 95% CI=0.018-0.227). 이상 결과를 통해 독거노인들이 통화와 문자기능뿐만이 아니라 정보검색까지 이용함으로써 사회적 연결정도가 높아져 우울의 정도가 낮아지는 것으로 추측 해 볼 수 있다.

This study explores how the main variables of youth going through a transition period (parents' nurturing behavior, the youth's self-esteem and ego resilience, the peer group relationships) affect the youth's school adjustment. It also analyzes the effects of theses variables on the youth's dependence on cell phones, which are considered a necessity in modern society. This research is verified by using a structure model verification method based on data from the Korean Children Youth Panel Study. According to the research, first, 1st-year students in middle school show better adjustment to their school life and less dependence on cell phones when they have a stronger sense of self-esteem and ego resilience; further, it is revealed that cell phone dependence has an indirect influence on the school life of these children. Second, they tend to show better adjustment to their school life and less dependence on cell phones when their parents' nurturing behaviors are more positive. Third, these children tend to depend more on cell phones when they have a positive peer group relationship, Moreover, cell phone dependence has an indirect influence on their school life. When considering the impact of cell phone to youth in modern society, need to prepare proper training program for correct uses and preventing from addiction.
