The purpose of this study is to examine the sequential mediating effects of social withdrawal and depression in the relationship between achievement motivation and career decision of multicultural adolescents. To this end, we analyzed adolescents data from the 8th year survey(2018) of the 'Multicultural Adolescent Panel Study(MAPS)' provided by the National Youth Policy Institute(NYPI). As a result of the study, first, achievement motivation was found to have a significant and positive effect on career decision. Second, it was found that social withdrawal did not mediate the relationship between achievement motivation and career decision. Third, it was found that depression mediates the relationship between achievement motivation and career decision. Fourth, it was found that social withdrawal and depression sequentially mediate the relationship between achievement motivation and career decision. Based on the results of this study, we searched for social support measures to improve the career decision of multicultural adolescents and support their career paths, and suggested implications and limitations of the results of this study and suggestions for follow-up studies.

This study is designed to figure out the effects of major selection motivation on career efficacy and major satisfaction of college students majoring in culinary and foodservice management. To achieve this purpose, a survey was carried out to 209 college students. The findings showed that their major selection had a significant effect on their career efficacy and major satisfaction. But the mediating effect of their career efficacy as a mediator - which improves their major selection and major satisfaction - was partially adopted. Consequently, their internal and external participation motivation for their major selection is a facilitating mechanism to maximize their major satisfaction, and it is necessary to limit the use as a mediating variable of their career efficacy.

The purpose of the present study is to develop and validate an instrument to assess STEM career motivation. We developed 32 items for 7 constructs (i.e. education experience, career value, academic self-efficacy, career self-efficacy, career interest, parents' support, and career motivation) on STEM career motivation based on Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT; Lent et al.,1994). 767 first year high school students participated in this study. The items were validated by Messick's framework (1995). In this study, we examined the validity of items in four aspects (i.e. content, substantive, structural and generalizability of validity). Methodologically, we used Rasch analysis, Exploratory factor analysis, confirmative factor analysis based on structural equation modelling. We confirmed that our instrument with 32 items as valid and reliable for measuring the STEM career motivation. In addition, we tested the STEM career motivation model based on SCCT. Our model explained the data well, suggesting that external factors (education experience and parents' support) and cognitive factors (perception of value, self-efficacy and interest) were significantly related to STEM career motivation.

This study promotes the understanding of landscape technicians by, assessing the professional qualification system that aligns with the needs of the 21st-century environment, distinct from the industrialization era, It, provides basic theoretical insights into the multi-dimensional connections between the motivation for a certificate and the career decision-making self-efficacy of individuals with a demand for the certificate in the structural aspect. The collected data underwent a comprehensive analysis involving frequency assessments, confirmatory factor analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability tests, and correlation analyses. The study found differences according to particpants' diverse sociodemographic characteristics including gender, place of residence, educational background, and occupation. The motivation for obtaining a certificate had significant positive effects on their career-decision-making self-efficacy, within the context of structural relations. The study findings on the relations between motivation for obtaining a certificate and career decision-making self-efficacy demonstrate that the direction and intensity of efforts to obtain a certificate can increase the career decision-making self-efficacy of people hoping to become landscape technicians.

Purpose : This study is to investigate on career preference after graduation and learning motivation of students majoring in physical therapy. Methods : This survey implement with 400 students majoring in physical therapy from 3 college and university in korea, jeonnam 394 of 400 attended this survey. The measured date were analysed by using repeated anova, frequency analysis, $x^2$-test, t-test. Results : The results of this study were as follows: Career preference showed significant difference between male and female in department of orthopedic physical therapy and showed significant difference all by workplace(general hospital, special hospital). Career preference didn't show significant difference by schol system(college, university) and showed significant difference by work place. Learning motivation(inner motivation) showed significant difference in male by gender. Learning motivation didn't show significant difference by school system.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of creativity instruction activities on academic motivation and career maturity of university students and the relationship between these factors. The subjects of this study were university students who took creativity liberal arts based on NFTM-TRIZ creativity education model for a term. The research scales were the self-efficacy scale and failure tolerance scale of academic motivation tests and the Career Maturity Inventory Attitude Scale. The results of this study were as follows : First, creativity instruction activities had a positive influence on academic motivation and career maturity. Especially the effects on self control efficacy, task preference level, career decisiveness and compromise showed significantly(p<.01). Secondly, academic motivation showed positive relationship with career maturity(p<.05).

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of teachers' motivation for choosing teaching on the relationship with career adaptability through self-directed learning in 271 pre-service early childhood teachers. As a result of the study, first, career adaptability, self-directed learning, and motivation for choosing teaching were high in order. Second, there was a positive correlation that the higher the motivation for choosing a teaching profession, the higher the self-directed learning and career adaptation, and the higher the self-directed learning, the higher the career adaptation. Third, it was found that self-directed learning of pre-service early childhood teachers partially mediated teachers' motivation for choosing teaching and career adaptability. This study is significant in that it sought various perspectives in practicing high-quality early childhood teacher education program and provided basic data on teacher education program.

The purpose of study is to examine the effects of the reading discussion-oriented career exploration program for elementary school students on career development and achievement motivation. To achieve this purpose, three fifth grade classes were assigned to an experimental group, comparative group A and comparative group B. Reading discussion-oriented exploration program for the experimental group was conducted for five weeks in ten sessions, the same period of time for comparative group A was given for conducting a career education program and subject studying was conducted on comparative group B. The results of this study, the experimental group applied to the reading discussion-oriented career exploration programs showed a significant increase in their career development compared with the subject studying group. But they did not show a significant increase compared with the career education group. Second, experimental group applied to the reading discussion-oriented career exploration programs showed significant increase their achievement motivation compared with the subject studying group and career education group.

Despite the growing use of SNS and the increasing number of recruitment related to SNS, little research has been conducted between career preparation activities and relationship with SNS. Therefore, this study investigates the relationships among purpose of using instagram, flow of instagram and career preparation behavior using structural equation model, and by investigating the adjustment effect of the personal characteristic among them. To this end an online survey was conducted for students who want to be cabin crew. The results of this study show that motivation of using instagram had a positive and significant effect on flow of instagram, which in turn positively influenced career preparation behavior. Furthermore, it could be confirmed that there was a adjustment moderating effect on personal characteristic between purpose of using instagram and flow of using instagram. The results of this study suggest that the likelihood of recruitment for being cabin crew can be achieved by identifying mutual relationships among motivation of using instagram, flow of instagram, career preparation behavior, and personal characteristics.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of selection motivation on the NCS curriculum and career decision of the students in security related department. The contents of the questionnaire consisted of "First, Motivation to select major, Second, NCS curriculum, Third, Career decision". In this study, Chronbach's Alpha coefficients were presented to analyze the reliability of variables and exploratory factors, and the Berimax method was performed. The AVE and CR values of the items were calculated to be 0.5 and 0.7, respectively. Therefore, it was analyzed that the Intensive feasibility of items were well-focused. As a result of the hypothesis test, the standardized coefficients were calculated as follows: 'Selective motivation ⇨ NCS curriculum' is 0.563, 'NCS curriculum ⇨ career decision' is 1.339. The relationship between the two hypotheses was found to be positive (+). In order to improve the career decision of students in security related departments, it seems necessary to raise the motivation of selection and to improve the satisfaction of NCS curriculum.
