The objective of the study was to find out whether the Super Bowl adverts with high Ad Meter scores had more advertising appeals related to U.S. culture in Hofstede's dimensions. The significance of the study lies in the analysis on U.S. consumer preferences on adverts in terms of culture under one of the most representative American sport event: Super Bowl. The study was based on a content analysis of top and bottom 10 Super Bowl adverts during a period of consecutive seven years 2005 through 2011. The top and bottom ten were grouped based on the Ad Meter scores by the USA Today. The number of adverts interpreted by two coders along with the author was 139. The coding results implies that adverts in the top 10 group carried more appeals connected to US culture in Hofstede dimensions, such as youth, untamed, and magic in uncertainty avoidance dimension. Meanwhile, such appeals as ornamental, vain, and status in high power distance dimension were mainly found in the bottom 10 adverts group. Grounded on the findings from the content analysis, links between the score levels and the presence of certain appeals may offer marketers a hint on what appeals they emphasize when producing adverts in a certain cultural bound, let alone Super Bowl adverts targeting TV viewers in the U. S. A.

The aim of this study is to examine the mediating effects of the social support and ego-resilience of adolescent counselors on the relationship between their job stress and burnout. The subjects of this research exercise comprised 250 adolescent counselors. Data were analyzed by means of Pearson's correlation and by structural equation modeling. The results were as follows. First, there was a positive correlation between job stress and burnout, and job stress had a negative correlation with social support and ego-resilience of the adolescent counselors. Moreover, social support and ego-resilience had a negative correlation with burnout. Second, social support did not have any direct impact on relieving burnout yet affected it in an indirect way through ego-resilience. Ego-resilience exerted both direct and indirect influence on reducing burnout. Therefore, it was found that the ego-resilience of the adolescent counselors was bound up with their job stress and there by exercised a significant influence on burnout. The findings of the study illustrated that as for the relationships among the job stress, social support, ego-resilience and burnout of the adolescent counselors, ego-resilience was a crucial variable in preventing burnout. This study is of significance in that it provided theoretical data which can be used when developing programs designed to prevent burnout in adolescent counselors.

The purpose of this article is to consider the status and the value of a different book of Chunghyangjeon that Professor Park Sunho possesses. Chunghyangjeon that Professor Park Sunho possesses has the text in Chinese and in Korean. Compared with Chullidaebon, Chunghyangjeon that Professor Park Sunho possesses includes deletion, contraction and addition. Chullidaebon has many mistakes while Parkbon in Chinese shows that the mistakes were corrected. According to the standard, Parkbon in Chinese is similar to Mansongbon and Donambon rather than Chullidaebon and it is more similar to Mansongbon than Donambon. In Parkbon in Chinese, hypocrisy of Yangnyeongdaegun is weakened while his negative personality is magnified. And psychological description of Yangyeongdaegun is weakened and Chunghyang's beauty is magnified. Parkbon in Korean shows deletion, contraction, addition, and change. It doesn't show consciousness of lineage and deletes hypocrisy and negative personality of Yangnyeongdaegun. Also, the phrases are being deleted and contracted, which are difficult for those who do not master Chinese literature or Chinese poems. The professor Park Sunho's copy is more significant than other novels circulated at that times, for it is bound along with a copy in Korean. Compared with other editions of Chunghyangjeon and other classical novels circulated, that kind of edition, which included Korean copy, is very peculiar. The Korean-including edition shows that the Chinese literate tried to share the novel with persons who are Korean literate but cannot read Chinese characters.

The purpose of this study is to examine the academic genealogy of Hong Chan-yoo. Hong Chan-yoo was born in Majeon, Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do, and started to learn writing at the village school. Around 20 years old, he widened his scope of academic study. This study is a part of Hong Chan-yoo's life. It reviews the relationship between Hong Chan-yoo and Jeong Byeong-jo, Lim Gyu, Jung In-boh, Lim Heung-soon and Kim Tae-sun whom he met at the hometown village school and Mijwa village school, and afterwards going up to the capital since his birth. In particular, the emphasis of this study is on examining the teachers of Mijwa and Mijwa village school because it is an important factor in clarifying the line of Hong Chan-yoo's studies. Mijwa village school confirmed that the academic genealogy of Majeon was the line of Misu Huh Mok. Next, from the activities after going up to the capital, it revealed that encountering Jung In-boh and Lim Gyu affected expanding the scope of study and facing reality without being bound to the former form. It was found that meeting Lim Heung-soon and Kim Tae-sun around Bongik-dong became the opportunity to enter the field but it needs to be reviewed more closely.

This paper is to examine how Joseon intellectuals understood $g{\check{u}}$(古) and $j{\bar{i}}n$(今) and how its history consequently changed. It is to take a macroscopic view focusing on differences of different schools. Understanding of '$g{\check{u}}$' and '$j{\bar{i}}n$' directly and indirectly affected academia, art and even politics throughout Joseon dynasty. As different scholars and schools distinctively understood $g{\check{u}}$ and $j{\bar{i}}n$, issues of tradition and creation; conservatism and progressivism and; ideal and reality were deeply discussed. Those discussions greatly and historically contributed to making changes in politics and society as well. A cultural tradition of emphasizing '$g{\check{u}}$' took a deep root in overall Joseon society. Meanwhile, understanding of '$j{\bar{i}}n$(今)' or '$x{\bar{i}}n$(新)' was required with changes of times. as When people thought the reality is confusing or corrupt, they adopted restoration(復古) which means to go back to basis as the slogan. Awareness in $g{\check{u}}$ and $j{\bar{i}}n$ served as a drive to change the society. However, they never lifted their voices for '$j{\bar{i}}n$' or '$x{\bar{i}}n$,' abandoning '$g{\check{u}}$'. Criticism on '$g{\check{u}}$' was merely for criticizing being bound by '$g{\check{u}}$,' not targeting '$g{\check{u}}$' itself. '$J{\bar{i}}n$' actually was a dependent variable of '$g{\check{u}}$.' It is a dichotomous view to consider '$g{\check{u}}$' as conservatism and '$j{\bar{i}}n$' as progressivism.

The text reviewed in this paper "Dongbangsaek is the Secret (Dongbangsaegi bigyeorira)" is in the collection of the Yulgok Memorial Library of Dankook University. With 13 leaves ($35.7{\times}22.3cm$) bound with thread, the booklet has been transcribed by hand. Although there is no record on the place, person and year of transcription, it is estimated to have been transcribed in the 20th century based on the use of the period, a punctuation mark. In addition, the complete absence of dialect vocabulary also shows that it was transcribed in the capital area-Seoul or Gyeonggi Province. It is assumed that the text is part of a Buddhist scripture chanted by an exorcist during a shamanistic ritual. As a booklet containing secret methods to divine what is auspicious and what is ominous in daily life, it must have been transcribed by an exorcist to use it for her ritual.

With the expansion of platform-based taxi service, mobility and convenience of users are getting better. However, due to profitability problem, marginalized areas in the supply of the service are expected to appear. As such, this study analyzed spatial marginalization of taxi service caused by imbalance in supply and demand during the night-time when public transportation service is suspended. According to hot-spot analysis of taxi, outskirt of a city and residential areas showed high vacancy and greater number of drop-offs compared to the number of pick-ups. On the contrary, they were confirmed low in the center and sub-centers of a city. Centrality analysis also showed a similar pattern with hot-spot analysis. Due to this, drivers may refuse to pick up a customer bound for an area with lower out-degree centrality compared to in-degree centrality as it might be difficult for the drivers to pick up another customer after dropping off the current customer. Thus, customers may need to wait for a taxi for a longer time. For this reason, improvement in spatial marginalization caused by mismatch of supply and demand is required. Also, the outcome of this study is expected to be utilized as a basic data.

Background: Ginseng can help regulate brain excitability, promote learning and memory, and resist cerebral ischemia in the central nervous system. Ginsenosides are the major effective compounds of Ginseng, but their protein targets in the brain have not been determined. Methods: We screened proteins that interact with the main components of ginseng (ginsenosides) by affinity chromatography and identified the 14-3-3 ζ protein as a potential target of ginsenosides in brain tissues. Results: Biolayer interferometry (BLI) analysis showed that 20(S)-protopanaxadiol (PPD), a ginseng saponin metabolite, exhibited the highest direct interaction to the 14-3-3 ζ protein. Subsequently, BLI kinetics analysis and isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) assay showed that PPD specifically bound to the 14-3-3 ζ protein. The cocrystal structure of the 14-3-3 ζ protein-PPD complex showed that the main interactions occurred between the residues R56, R127, and Y128 of the 14-3-3 ζ protein and a portion of PPD. Moreover, mutating any of the above residues resulted in a significant decrease of affinity between PPD and the 14-3-3 ζ protein. Conclusion: Our results indicate the 14-3-3 ζ protein is the target of PPD, a ginsenoside metabolite. Crystallographic and mutagenesis studies suggest a direct interaction between PPD and the 14-3-3 ζ protein. This finding can help in the development of small-molecular compounds that bind to the 14-3-3 ζ protein on the basis of the structure of dammarane-type triterpenoid.

There is true that the evaluation of non-face-to-face swimming classes currently offered by universities due to the COVID-19 outbreak is generally negative. For this reason, the quality of non-face-to-face swimming classes at universities is bound to depend on the expertise of the instructor. However, whether or not of students who lack of practices of swimming could experience exercise flow and could continuously last the swimming exercise after semester or even graduation is difficult to confirm. This is considered to be a significant threat in the future not only for swimming, but also for all liberal arts and lifestyle sports. This study aimed at 281 non-athletic college students with experience of taking both swimming classes, and the need for a study on the structural relationship between exercise flow and participation intention by university swimming class leaders' expertise in non-sports majoring college students. And the results were empirically analyzed. The research results derived in this process are summarized as follows. First, the effect of swimming class leader's expertise (personality, lecture skills, student management, practical skills, basic knowledge) perceived by non-athletic college students on exercise flow (cognitive flow, behavior flow) affects cognitive flow. As a factor influencing, it was found that lecture skills had a statistically positive (+) effect, and as factors influencing behavioral commitment, the positive (+) effect was statistically significant in personality, lecture skills, student management, and basic knowledge. Second, as for the effect of exercise commitment (cognitive commitment, behavior commitment) perceived by non-athletic college students on continuous participation intention, the behavioral commitment factor was found to have a statistically positive (+) effect.

With Covid-19, the era of Untact has arrived. Online is bound to develop because face-to-face has become difficult among the threats of the Corona virus. Even in this era, even worship services to God have been offered online. Teenagers, the generation most accustomed to online, seem to easily adapt to online worship. Online youth worship is expected to continue even in the post-corona era. If so, the theological reflection on whether online youth worship is possible is necessary. Through theological reflection, we need to secure theological justification for online youth worship, and strive to make it a better and more accurate online worship service. Online worship tailored to the eye level of youth and online worship that meets the spiritual needs of youth should be planned, prepared, and implemented. This paper presented the theological justification for online youth worship by looking at the definition of worship, elements of worship, places of worship, and history of worship. In addition, while examining the characteristics of adolescence, it suggested why online youth worship is important and necessary. Then, in order to plan online youth worship that is more advanced and more accurate than the online worship currently being conducted in each church, the reality of online youth worship was presented by examining the purposes, contents, and methods of online youth worship.
