고로슬래그를 다량 함유한 고강도 콘크리트의 재료적 특성 (Material Characteristics of High-Strength Concrete Incorporating High Replacement Level of Blast-Furnace Slag)

  • 본 연구에서는 고로슬래그 미분말을 다량 사용한 고강도 콘크리트의 재료적 특성을 조사하기 위해 고로슬래그 미분말을 각각 50%와 70% 사용한 고강도 콘크리트에 대해 압축강도, 단열온도상승, 자기 수축 및 염소이온확산계수를 측정하였다. 실험결과, 슬래그 다량 치환 사용시 수화열 저감 및 염소이온확산계수 감소로 온도균열제어 및 고부식성 환경하 염해 저항성이 향상되는 것으로 나타났다.

  • In the case of B / a 1: 3, the intensity when the substitution rate increased to 15% showed a tendency to decrease, but it turned out that the strength increased at the substitution rate of 20%. In the case of B / a 1: 4 and 1: 5, it was found that when the substitution rate at the substitution rate of 10% was the highest and the substitution rate increased further, the strength was reduced. However, since the test body does not exist at the age of 3 days and the age of 7 days at the substitution rate of 0%, there is no specimen, so blast furnace slag binder substitution for increasing strength of refractory mortar is judged to be meaningless.

Analysis of SLF Interruption Performance of Self-Blast Circuit Breaker by Means of CFD Calculation

  • This paper presents the performance analysis results of a short line fault interruption of a gas circuit breaker, particularly a self-blast type breaker. Hot gas flow analysis was carried out using a CFD calculation combined with the arc model and nozzle ablation model. To evaluate the interruption performance, the index function was defined using the pressure in the heating chamber and the density above the arc region. The simulation and test results showed that the gas flow field and suitable choice of an interruption performance index can be used to predict the interruption characteristics and provide guidelines for designing self-blast breakers with a higher interruption capability.

  • Anti-terrorism design for public buildings as well as military facilities is important to minimize the mass casualties from terrorist attacks. Also, well designed glazing and window systems can reduce the potential injury of human caused by scattering fragment of a glazing. In this paper, blast resistant design for glazing and window systems is investigated based on the U.S. Standard. The design procedures include minimum requirements for the design, standard practice for design evaluation of the glazing and standard test method for evaluation of the performance.

  • Recently the use of the antiwashout underwater concrete with the antiwashout admixture is increased considerably. Antiwashout underwater concrete is quite different in concept from conventional underwater concrete. By mixing an antiwashout admixture with concrete, the viscosity of the concrete is increased and its resistance to segregation under the washing action of water is enhanced. The aim of this research is to evaluate the fundamental characteristics and permeability of antiwashout underwater concrete with fly ash and blast-furnace slag. Test Results of antiwashout underwater concrete with fly ash and blast-furnace slag fluence can provide its excellent fundamental characteristics and resistance of permeability.

Fining of Flint Glass Melts Containing Blast Furnace Slag

  • In this study, flint glass batches with blast furnace slag (BFS) were prepared and the contribution of the BFS to the fining of melts was studied through investigations of the melting and fining characteristics. Additionally, a sulfur redox reaction for BFS-doped melts was examined by square wave voltammetry (SWV). The results of the melting & fining test showed that BFS improved the fining of the melts. In a voltammogram of BFS-doped melts, two reduction peaks were shown at high frequencies while only one peak appeared at low frequencies. The peaks were located at a potential that was similar to those of melts fined by sulfate. From those results it was concluded that sulfide ($S^{2-}$) in BFS has effects in glass melts that are identical to those of sulfate ($SO_4^{2-}$).

  • This study investigated on the differentiation of microstructure of blast furnace slag concrete(BBSC) using Mercury Intrusion Porosimetry(MIP). From the test result, it was found that the BBSC did not show shortcomings of high temperature curing. The BBSC gives more fineness microstructure than that of plain concrete when it is cured same curing condition. The curing age making stable structure to poor surroundings was 28, 14, 7 days for blast furnace concrete cured at 5, 20, $30^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • In the experiment, we add to NaOH, Ca(OH)2 and Calcium Hydroxide as the Slag stimulus also mixed the cement stimulus such as NaSCN, TEA and CaCl2 for improving compressive strenth of concrete which added the Blast Furnace Slag Powder at 1 and 3 days. In the result of strength test, It showed that 2percentage of activator 1 and 5percentage Ca(OH)2, 1percentage of activator 3 and 5percentage of Ca(OH)2 are higher than 100 percentage OPC.

  • The purpose of this study was to give fluidizing properties to non-sirtered cement made using by-products that can replace Portland cement by using a fluidizing agent. Blast furnace slag, C-type fly ash, and F-type fly ash were used for non-sirtered cement, and sand was used for aggregate. The amount of fluidizing agent used was fixed at 1%, and the water-cement ratio (W/C) was different by setting the binder blending ratio of the non-sintered cement differently, and the fluidity test and flow were compared. As a result of the experiment, when the flow standard was 170mm when the fluidizing agent was used, the fluidizing properties were shown at an average water-cement ratio (W/C) of 36%. Through this study, it was confirmed that the fluidizing properties appeared when the fluidizing agent was used in non-sintered cement.

비동기 양상태 소나의 표적 거리 추정 오차 분석 (Analysis of the range estimation error of a target in the asynchronous bistatic sonar)

  • 비동기 양상태 소나는 음원 방향에서 수신되는 직접파를 탐지하고 직접파가 수신된 시간을 추정하여 반사파의 거리를 산출한다. 따라서 동기식에 비해 직접파 수신 시간 추정 오차가 표적 거리 추정 오차에 더하여 나타난다. 특히, 직접파는 다중경로 신호에 의해 정합필터 출력이 여러 개의 첨두치로 나타나는데 문턱치를 넘는 첫 번째 첨두치로 직접파 도달시간을 추정하는 기법과 가장 큰 첨두치로 직접파 도달시간을 추정하는 기법에 대하여 분석하였다. 실험은 공간적으로 분리된 음원과 해저에 매설된 선배열 수신센서로 구성된 양상태 소나를 이용하여 모의 반향기에서 반향되는 유사 표적 신호를 획득하는 방식으로 진행되었다. 실험결과 첫 번째 첨두치로 직접파 도달시간을 추정하는 기법이 표적 거리 추정 오차가 더 작은 것을 확인하였다. 도출된 결과는 비동기 양상태 소나의 표적 추적 기법에 활용할 예정이다.
