쉴리렌 가시화 기법을 이용한 E85 연료의 액상 및 기상 분무 비교 (Comparison of Liquid- and Vapor-Phase Spray Characteristics of E85 Fuel using Schlieren Visualization Technique)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the liquid- and vapor-phase spray characteristics, such as spray tip penetration and spray angle using gasoline direct injection (GDI) injector with multi-hole. The vapor-phase spray was captured by the Schlieren visualization system, which consists of high-speed camera, LED lamp, concave mirrors, and knife-edge. The liquid-phase spray was visualized by Mie-scattering techniques. Both spray images of vapor- and liquid-phase were visualized under 373 K of ambient temperature, 1 bar of ambient pressure, and 100/200 bar of injection pressure. The energizing duration was fixed at 1.5 ms. From the analysis of experimental results, it revealed that the increased injection pressure induced an early vaporization due to the improvement of droplet atomization. The spray tip penetration and spray angle in vapor-phase were higher than those in liquid-phase. The difference in the spray tip penetration between vapor- and liquid-spray gradually increased with the time elapsed after the injection. Even with the spray angle characteristics, it was found that the difference between the spray angle of liquid and vapor spray gradually grew after they entered steady-state conditions.

소수 잔존치를 가진 상악에 Bar와 Locator®를 이용한 임플란트 융합 국소의치 치료 증례 (Implant assisted removable partial denture using a few remaining maxillary teeth and locator bar system: A case report)

  • Treatment with removable partial denture is effective for partially edentulous patients who are unable to obtain sufficient retention and stability for functional and esthetic restoration. There are several cases reporting the improvement of retention and stability of the partial denture using a small number of implants. However, there are limited studies on the implant-assisted removable partial denture using a small number of remaining teeth and the bar locator system. The bar locator system has an advantage in that it could compensate the angle of insertion of removable prosthesis on implant with inconsistent placement angle due to anatomical constraints compared to when using the locator only. This case report describes the patient with $Parkinson^{\circ}$Øs disease who was treated with the Locator bar system using two previously placed implants and two remaining teeth on maxilla. No additional implants could be placed because of the medical and economic condition of the patients, and the angle of one of two implants could not be matched with the direction of the removable partial denture insertion. Considering the angle of the implants, the patient was treated with implant-assisted RPD using the Locator bar system and had satisfactory results in the aspect of esthetics, masticatory function, and oral hygiene maintenance.

  • 합성 사파이어 기판 시료-GaN반도체의 성장기판으로 사용된-의 내재하는 결함 형태를 전통적인 투과식 전자현미경 조사기법 (TEM), LACBED, HAADF-STEM 방법으로 관찰 분석하였다. 이 시료에서 주로 발견된 결함들은 두께 ${\sim}2nm$에서 32nm를 가진(0001)면 미소 쌍정(basal microtwins), 모체 결정과의 계면 주위의 변형 결함, (0001)면 전위결함(basal dislocations), 그리고 {$2\bar{1}\bar{1}3$} 피라미드 미끄럼면 중 한 면에서 일어나는 복잡한 형태의 전위 결함들이다 이들(0001)면 및 {$2\bar{1}\bar{1}3$}면에 전위 결함들은 미소 쌍정과 강하게 관련되어 일어나는 것으로 보인다. 또한 전위결함 밀도는 매우 균일하지 않으며 수 ${\mu}m$의 크기의 결함 밀집 영역에서는 그 밀도가 ${\sim}10^{10}/cm^2정도만큼 높지만 시료 전체에서의 평균은 대체적으로 ${\sim}10^5/cm^2보다 작다. 이 값은 보통 합성되는 결정에서 평균적으로 예상되는 수치이다.

  • A reducing bearing angle theory for bond of ribbed reinforcing bars to concrete is proposed to simulate experimental observation. Analytical expressions to determine bond strength for splitting and pullout failure are derived, where the bearing angle is a key variable. As bearing angle is reduced, splitting strength decreases and shearing strength increases. The proposed reducing bearing angle theory is effective to simulate damage of the deformed bar-concrete interface and understand bond mechanism of ribbed reinforcing steel in concrete structures.

핀틀 인젝터의 개도가 액체-기체 상압 분무에 미치는 영향 (Effects of opening distance on liquid-gas spray of pintle injector under atmospheric condition)

  • 모사 추진제로 물과 공기를 사용하여 상압 상태에서 핀틀 인젝터의 개도가 액체-기체 분무에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 연구하였다. 액체 공급 압력은 0.1 bar에서 1.0 bar 까지, 핀틀 개도는 0.2 mm에서 1.0 mm 까지의 다양한 분사 상태에서 유량 계수와 질량 유량을 계산하였다. 분사각은 역광 기법을 이용하여 얻어진 분사 이미지에서 측정하였다. 핀틀 개도가 0.2 mm인 경우 정상적인 액막이 형성되지 않았고, 비 균질한 분사를 보였다. 이는 연소실 내부에 연소 불안정을 가져올 수 있다. 핀틀 개도를 이용하여 계산된 운동량 플럭스 비는 분사각에 약한 상관관계를 갖고 있고, 운동량 비는 분사각과 강한 상관관계를 갖고 있다. 운동량이 증가할수록 분사각은 지수 함수적으로 감소하였고, 분사각은 약 40도로 수렴하였다.

Three-dimensional accuracy of different correction methods for cast implant bars

  • PURPOSE. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the accuracy of three techniques for correction of cast implant bars. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Thirty cast implant bars were fabricated on a metal master model. All cast implant bars were sectioned at 5 mm from the left gold cylinder using a disk of 0.3 mm thickness, and then each group of ten specimens was corrected by gas-air torch soldering, laser welding, and additional casting technique. Three dimensional evaluation including horizontal, vertical, and twisting measurements was based on measurement and comparison of (1) gap distances of the right abutment replica-gold cylinder interface at buccal, distal, lingual side, (2) changes of bar length, and (3) axis angle changes of the right gold cylinders at the step of the post-correction measurements on the three groups with a contact and non-contact coordinate measuring machine. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and paired t-test were performed at the significance level of 5%. RESULTS. Gap distances of the cast implant bars after correction procedure showed no statistically significant difference among groups. Changes in bar length between pre-casting and post-correction measurement were statistically significance among groups. Axis angle changes of the right gold cylinders were not statistically significance among groups. CONCLUSION. There was no statistical significance among three techniques in horizontal, vertical and axial errors. But, gas-air torch soldering technique showed the most consistent and accurate trend in the correction of implant bar error. However, Laser welding technique, showed a large mean and standard deviation in vertical and twisting measurement and might be technique-sensitive method.

원형봉에서 정사각재 인발공정의 유한요소 해석 (Finite Element Analysis for the Drawing of Square Rod from Round Bar)

  • Unlike the drawing of round section from round bar, the shaped drawing like polygonal section is known to have influence not only drawing stress but also comer filling. Therefore, this study analyze the drawing process of suqare rod from round bar using nonsteady state rigid-plastic FEM. To investigate effects of process variables of the drawing process of square rod from round bar, FE-simulations with variety of reduction in area and semi-die angle for a given frictional condition have been conduction. By this results, it has to suggest optimal process condition on the drawing stress and the comer filling. In addition, it has determined forming limit considering necking and bulging.

EPS 각도센서용 토션 바의 압입공정의 휨과 회전현상 분석 (Analysis of Bending and Rotation Phenomenon of Torsion Bar During Press-fitting Process for EPS Angle Sensors)

  • The torsion bar, which is a steering torque sensor, is mounted between the steering pinion and the input shaft in the IPA(input pinion assembly). Accurate torque measurement is important to improve the sense of operation, and the straightness of the torsion bar can affect torque measurement. In this study, the amount of bending was measured and the exact shape was analyzed regarding the bending phenomenon in the press-fitting process for torsion bars. The effect of alignment error was analyzed through finite element forming analysis. Process data analysis was conducted for the double-end press fit model. If there is an alignment error of about 10% of the serration tooth height, the indentation load is reduced by about 10%. If there is an alignment error, the torsion bar is rotated.

앵글과 철근을 조립한 PSRC 합성기둥의 휨 실험 (Flexural Test for Prefabricated Composite Columns Using Steel Angle and Reinforcing Bar)

  • PSRC 기둥은 앵글을 콘크리트에 매입시킨 기둥으로, 단면의 외곽 코너에 배치되는 앵글이 기둥의 휨-압축에 저항하고, 횡철근은 기둥의 전단과 앵글-콘크리트 사이의 부착에 저항한다. 본 연구에서는 KBC 2009에 따라 PSRC 합성기둥의 휨, 전단, 부착 설계방법을 정립하고, 단순지지된 2/3 스케일의 PSRC 보와 SRC 보의 2점 가력 휨실험을 통하여 제안된 설계법을 검증하고 PSRC 합성기둥의 파괴특성을 분석하였다. 단면의 강재비와 횡철근 간격을 실험 변수로 고려하였다. 실험결과, KBC 2009으로 예측한 PSRC 합성기둥의 휨, 전단, 부착 강도는 실험결과와 잘 일치하였다. 고강도 앵글이 기둥 단면의 외곽에 배치되므로 PSRC 합성기둥은 동일한 강재비를 갖는 일반 SRC 합성기둥 단면에 비하여 매우 우수한 휨저항 성능을 나타냈다. 그러나 앵글과 콘크리트 사이의 부착강도가 충분히 학보되지 못한 경우 합성기둥 단면의 휨항복강도를 발휘하기 이전에 앵글의 부착파괴, 피복콘크리트 파괴, 횡철근의 파단 등이 발생하였다. 또한 앵글 용접성 및 인성이 부족할 경우 앵글-횡철근 용접부에서 앵글의 파단에 의해 실험체가 파괴되었다.
