Purpose The goal of this study tried to provide aging and life span in Sasang Constitutional Medicine. Methods It was researched Master Dong-Mu's documentary records about aging and the life span represented by ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon Sasang Chobongyun${\lrcorner}$ and ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$ published in 1901. Results & conclusion 1. A principal of regimen according to Sasang Constitutional Medicine isn't medicational method but non-medicational method. There are control mind and upright oneself. 2. Dong-Mu's the views of the span of life represented by 'Inherent vitality' that a term means health promoting and forecasting length of the life. He also emphasizied a natural power of recovery from damaged vitality. 3. Greed is reduced one's lifetime. It is originated by bias for 'joy-anger -sorrow-pleasure'. The other example is 'Liquor-Sex-Property- Authority'. 4. The way of prolonging lifetime what managed small visceral intestines through constitutional upright oneself. This is found on pathology, care of health and constitutional 'Knowledge and Deed'.

The interest of the fatigue life of rubber components such as engine mounts is increasing according to the extension of warranty period of the automotive components. Automotive engine mounts get damaged due to thermal and mechanical loadings. This paper discusses a fatigue life prediction of the 3-dimensional dumbbell specimens for natural rubber compound considering the effects of maximum strain and heat aging temperature. Displacement controlled fatigue life tests were performed using specimens with different levels of maximum strain and various hardness. The basic mechanical properties test and the fatigue test of aged rubber specimen under normal and elevated temperature were executed. A procedure to predicted the fatigue life of vulcanized natural rubber material based on the maximum strain method was proposed, and then this curve was in good agreement with fatigue test data less than 200% error range.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the financial preparations for aging on the life satisfaction of single households are different according to their experiences of having been married or not, and thereby to suggest an alternative policy which differenciate single households with their exposure to married life from those without their exposure to married life. The analyzed data is based on social statistics in 2015 of the Statistics Korea, with 4,406 people, over 30, who are either never married singles or married but divorced or bereaved singles. Finding are, first, there was a statistically significant difference in financial preparations for aging between unmarried single households and married, and unmarried single households are more prepared than married ones. Second, life satisfaction of unmarried single households was higher than married ones. Third, the effects of the financial preparations for aging on the life satisfaction were shown from both groups, and married single households were more sensitive to the effect of financial preparations for aging on the life satisfaction.

This study is a qualitative content analysis study in which one-on-one interview was applied to analyze the meaning of well-aginfor instructors who teach well-aging-related lectures. In this study, five experts were asked the following questions. 'What do you think are the conditions for well-aging?', and 'What do you think is necessary to realize well-aging?'. As a result, 3 core themes and 6 sub-theme were analyzed. The core theme collections were 'life faithful to the basics', 'a balanced life without omissions', and 'life appropriate for age'. The subjects of this study emphasized the integrated harmony of body, mind, society, spirituality, and economy based on health in well-aging. It was emphasized that for well-aging, not only middle-aged people but also all age groups need to recognize and prepare for it. In the future, well-aging education will require a continuous education course tailored to each age group.
Telomeres, comprised of tandem repeats of TTAGGG sequences, are special nucleoprotein structures that protect and stabilize chromosome ends. These structures form the crux of the telomere concept of aging, senescence and genomic instability. The classic terminal restriction fragment (TRF) analysis to quantify the amount of telomeric DNA is disadvantageous in species containing ultra long telomeres like in mice (100Kb). In this study, we used a more sensitive quantitative fluorescence in situ hybridization (Q FISH) technique to quantify telomeric DNA, and used it as a biological aging marker in mice. 12 litters each of Senescence-Resistant (SAMR1) and -Prone (SAMP1) known as senescence accelerated mouse strains were purchased from Central Lab, Animal Inc. We quantified the amount of telomeric DNA using telomere specific DNA probes on the two strains of male mice at 8 weeks, 18 weeks and 26 weeks of age. The amount of telomeric DNA correlated with aging and age associated changes in body and organ weight between SAMR1 and SAMP1 strains of mice. These data suggest the usefulness of the amount of telomeric DNA as a biological aging marker in human aging studies.
As the life-expectancy is ever-increasing, and the proportion of the elderly population is growing steadily in every society of the world, it is ever more important to establish what factors allow certain elderly people to age successfully and remain relatively independent while others grow old less successfully and require extensive intervention. However, there is no consensus yet as to what successful aging means. Researchers have defined successful aging in a variety of ways. This study attempted to define the concept of successful aging and to clarify some dimensions of it through literature review. Previous approaches of studying successful aging and related themes were examined. Early perspectives including activity, disengagement, and continuity theories, Selective Optimization with Compensation (SOC) model by Baltes and Baltes, three different conceptions of successful aging, that is, psychological well-being, physical health, and wisdom, and MacArthur research on successful aging have been reviewed for this study. The definition derived from the review is: Keeping up continuous developmental processes to achieve wisdom or ego-integrity, without suffering any major disabilities in either physical or mental functioning, while maintaining psychological well-being and employing SOC strategies, and participating in positive relationships with significant others. The dimensions of successful aging are 1) personal resources, including physical health, cognitive competences, self esteem, and social support 2) adaptation process of SOC, and 3) psychological aspects, including psychological well-being and wisdom.

The concepy of positive aging describles the adverse effects of age on the lifetime of units. Various aspects of this concepts are described in terms of conditional probability distribution of residual life times, failure rates, equilibrium distributions, etc. In this paper we will consider some partial ordering relations of life distribution under residual life functions and equilibrium distributions.
The purpose of this study was to examine the degree of successful aging and to investigate influencing factors of it in elderly to types of gender. Subjects were 73 male elderly and 77 female elderly, total 150 elderly living at K city in C province, from May to June, 2012. The data were analyzed using the SPSS Win 18.0 program for $X^2$ test, t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. The correlated factors of successful aging among male elders included life satisfaction(r=.525, p<.001), family support(r=.355, p=.004), depression(r=-.555, p<.001) and loneliness(r=-.437, p<.001). Those of successful aging among female elders included life satisfaction(r=.607, p<.001), leisure satisfaction(r=.679, p<.001), family support(r=.784, p<.001), depression(r=-.516, p<.001), loneliness(r=-.644, p<.001) and self-transcendence(r=.576, p<.001). Life satisfaction and depression were statistically significant influencing factors of successful aging in male elders. Especially in the cases of female elders, life satisfaction, depression, family support and self-transcendence affected to successful aging. Life satisfaction, depression, family support, and self-transcendence were explained 52.9% in perception of successful aging among elders. This study suggests that life satisfaction, depression, family support, and self-transcendence will be considered in enhancing the successful aging promoting care and welfare designed for types of gender.
The purpose of this study on effect of preparation for aging on satisfaction of life by difference according to comparison of gender on the analysis. The 3th years additional research and 4th years of Korean Panel of retirement and longitudinal study was used. The sample size of this study was 2,970 for middle aged using based on over 50 years than 64 years. The explanation of the research results are as follows: First, the difference in preparation according to comparison of gender that a statistically significant difference in both men and women. Secondly, the difference in life satisfaction according to gender for both men and women showed that a statistically significant difference. Thirdly, the preparation was confirmed that the results for both men and women is significantly difference comparison of gender differences with respect to the effects preparation for aging on satisfaction of life. As a result, the based on gender through a comparison of the effects preparation for aging on satisfaction of life in accordance with middle-aged ready to raise the preparation and satisfaction of life.

Hardness value decreased about 3% for annealed specimens and increased about 60% for one hour aged specimens. But the values of the other specimens aged two hours or more showed almost the same. The yield strength was the highest about 1,800㎫ in 0.06%Nb specimen having twice as much as the base meta1 specimen. Also, the elongation was the highest in 0.03%Nb specimen showing the same as base metal specimen. The higher aging temperature and the longer aging time, the higher fatigue life. On the other hand, the 0.03%Nb specimen showed the highest fatigue life which increased about 12% more than base metal specime. 0.06%Nb specimen aged at 482$^{\circ}C$ for 8 hours simultaneously satisfied the 250 grade strength and 200 grade elongation having the most superior mechanical properties.
