Metering scheme for client privacy protection (방문자의 프라이버시를 보호하는 측정 방식)

  • Metering scheme is composed of servers, clients, and an audit agency who collects the information for the clients which have been processed by servers. Although many efficient and secure metering schemes have been proposed in the literature, they do not consider the client privacy issue. To mitigate this limitation of the related work, we propose a metering scheme to protect the privacy of clients in internet. More specifically, we apply RSA based blind signature to the interaction between client and audit agency. If a client spends metering information to the server more than twice, the identity of the client is revealed by the server or audit agency.

Performance Modeling of a Pyrotechnically Actuated Pin Puller

  • An analytical model was developed to understand the physics and predict the functional performance of a pin puller. The formulated model is based on one-dimensional gas dynamics for an ideal gas. Resistive forces against pin shaft movement were measured in quasi-static mechanical tests, the results of which were incorporated into the model. The expansion chamber pressure and the pin shaft displacement were measured from an actual firing test and compared to the model prediction. The gas generation rate was adjusted by a correction factor, and the heat transfer rate was obtained through parametric analysis. The validity of the model is assessed for additional firing tests with different amounts of pyrotechnic charge. This model can provide knowledge on how the pin puller functions, and on which design parameters contribute the most to the actuation of the pin puller. Using this model, we estimate the functional safety factor by comparing the energy generated by the pyrotechnic charge to the energy required to accomplish the function.

  • A mortar system is able to be fired more rapidly and concentratedly than other field gun systems. A mortar system can be easily manufactured because of its simple structure. It has also been supporting for the fire power of infantry because it can be carried conveniently. But a mortar system has demerits that are the limited firing range, poor accuracy and uncomfortable operability. Korean army plan to be operated rapidly and enlarge battle field in the near future. So weapon systems of Korean army must have longer firing range, automatic laying function and precision firing capability. This study suggests efficient developing concept of 120mm self-propelled mortar system through surveying the technical readiness level of current R&D and manufacturing ability.

  • Several housing improvement programs for low-income have done by Ministry of Health & Welfare, Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy, Ministry of Security and Public Administration, Ministry of Environment, and Ministry of Land, infrastructure and Transport up to now. Each program practiced separately based on each agency's function and territory, but there are also negative opinion on beneficiary duplication, beneficiary omission, and the inefficient execution of the government budget. This study analyzes the housing improvement programs of each agency on the aspects of coordination, and suggests the integration system with coordination and delivery system. We selected 3 indexes such as similarity, integration effect and availability for integration system and analyzed the effects of integrated programs into one based on cost, repair effect and management. We proposed that the similar housing improvement programs of each agency should be coordinated for integration. But it is not easy to integrate similar programs into one program, therefore similar programs which support the house owner are needed to integrate into housing benefit except same beneficiary who owned own house.

  • Flapper Valve of Korean Utility Helicopter(KUH-1) is an essential equipment in Environmental Control System(ECS) for pilot to perform flight mission. It provides pilots and crews with heating, ventilating and air conditioning. It has function of maintaining room temperature to sustain operational capability for pilot and crew. This paper summarizes pilot comments in flight test which are classified by cause of occurrence and the troubleshooting process about each comment. It also describes design improvements which was derived from troubleshooting and suggests verification results of flight test at low temperature.

  • This paper presents a derailed application procedure of the linear quadratic(LQ) theory for a SWATH heave and pitch control. A time domain model of coupled, linear time-invariant second order differential equations is derived from the frequency response model with the frequency dependent added mass and damping approximated as constant values at the heave natural frequency. Wave exciting forces are modeled as a sum of sinusoids. A systematic selection procedure of state and control weighting matrices is presented to obtain good transient behavior and acceptable fin movement. The validity of this controller design process is throughly investigated by simulations both in time domain and frequency domain and singular value plots of transfer function matrices. The finally designed control system shows good overall performances revealing that the applicability of the present study is proved successful.

Analysis of How the Bonding Force between Two Assemblies Affects the Flight Stability of a High-speed Rotating Projectile (이종결합 고속회전 발사 탄의 비행 안정성에 결합력이 미치는 영향성 분석)

  • Purpose: We sought to understand why a high-speed rotating projectile featuring a fuze-and-body assembly sometimes exhibited airburst, and we intended to improve the flight stability by eliminating airburst. Methods: We performed characteristic factor analysis, structural mechanics modeling, and dynamic modeling and simulation; and we scheduled firing tests to discover the cause of airburst. We used a step-by-step procedure to analyze the reliability function for selecting the bonding force standard that prevents airburst. Results: The 00MM high-speed rotating projectile features a fuze bonded to a body assembly; the bonding sometimes can break on firing. The resulting contact force, vibration and roll damping during flight generated yaw. Flight became unstable; fuze operation triggered an airburst. Our reliability test improved the bonding force standard (the force was increased). When the bonding force was at least the minimum required, a firing test revealed that airburst/flight instability disappeared. Conclusion: Analysis and identification of the causes of flight instability and airburst render military training safer and enhance combat power. Ammunition must perform as designed. Our method can be used to set standards that improve the performances of similar types of ammunition.

  • In this paper, an array antenna for LOS datalink for mounting UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) of low-probability of intercept is presented. For low RCS, radome was designed by conformal form, and other components were inserted into the UAV. The antenna of the transmitter and receiver are each composed of 12×12 array antennas, and include a beam steering function by controlling the phase of the unit element for the Uni-directional pattern and the Bi-directional pattern. As a result of the measurement of the manufactured antenna, it was confirmed that all the required specifications were met, and the installing possibility of the UAV platform on low-probability of intercept in the future was confirmed.

  • GMTI (Ground Moving Target Indicator) is a kind of airborne radar function that is used widely in military applications to detect the moving targets on the ground. In this paper, GMTI signal processing technique was presented and its performance was verified using sum and difference channels raw data obtained by the captive flight test.

A Study On Missile Flight Simulation Method Using the Built-in Memory of Aviation Control Unit (비행제어장치 내장 메모리를 활용한 유도탄 모의비행기법 연구)

  • During the assembly and function inspection of missile system, flight simulation process is required. In the conventional flight simulation check of missiles, an inertial navigation system simulator was used to transmit the navigation output data acquired in HILS. There are several disadvantages in terms of check configuration complexity and data synchronization when using the simulator. So we proposed a new flight simulation method that utilizes the nonvolatile built-in memory of the aviation control unit. The data processing procedure and operation procedure of the proposed method for type I and type II missiles are presented. And we analyzed the causes of the difference between proposed method result and the HILS result for type II missile. By comparing the results obtained by the experiments using the proposed method with the results of HILS, the validity of proposed method was confirmed.
