현대 산업 사회에서의 디자인은 기업경영전략의 핵심이자 국가 경쟁력을 결정짓는 중요한 요소이다. 그리고 소비자의 제품 구매의사 결정과정을 디자인 측면에서 보면 제품의 구매과정은 소비자가 선호하는 디자인제품을 가지고 싶다는 디자인 인식 문제로서, 이러한 현상은 제품의 기술적 기능보다는 제품의 심미성이 제품 디자인에 중요한 특성이 되고 있다는 사실을 말해주고 있다. 따라서 디자인 과정에서 가장 중요한 요소라고 할 수 있는 소비자 선호요인의 심미성분석을 통하여 규명함으로써, 새로운 차원의 제품 디자인의 전개가 절실히 요구되고 있다. 본 연구는 소비자의 제품선호도와 제품 평가에 영향을 주는 심미성요소를 규명하기 위해 심미성요소에 관한 선행연구와, 제품디자인의 소비자 반응에 대한 고찰을 통해 소비자 선호요인의 중요성을 파악하였다. 그리고 실증연구에서 한국 중국소비자의 7가지 가전제품을 대상으로 각 제품별 선호도 조사와 선호디자인의 심미성 평가를 통하여 소비자의 선호도에 영향을 미치는 심미성요소와 각 제품별로 중요시 여겨지는 심미성요소를 도출하였다. 본 연구는 한국과 중국 소비자들이 선호하는 제품들이 어떠한 심미성요소를 가지고 있는 지와 소비자 선호에 중요한 영향을 미치는 심미성요소를 밝혀 제품디자인에 있어 심미성요소의 가이드라인을 제시하고, 한국과 중국을 대상으로 한 제품디자인 시 활용할 수 있는 자료를 제공하고자 한다.

The Silla Dynasty was an open society and was an independent, creative, brilliant culture built on diverse cultures and values. Transforming from the Silla Dynasty to the Unified Silla, it unified the culture of the Three Kingdoms into one. It also displayed unique clothes that adapted new foreign elements into rich clothes forms unlike previous styles. This study first classifies the aesthetic consciousness of the Silla Dynasty by exploring the beauty of the Silla Dynasty realized through artifacts, books, and records in the Silla Dynasty and defines the each characteristic of the aesthetic consciousness. Second, it highlights the independency of Korean beauty through an investigation of how the aesthetic consciousness form appeared through these new appearances in the aesthetic consciousness of Silla Dynasty clothes. The results of the study show that the aesthetic consciousness of the Silla Dynasty can be inferred through Silla Dynasty artifacts, literature, sensuous beauty, and records that were classified into random natural beauty, humorous beauty, and decorative technical beauty. The Silla Dynasty aesthetic consciousness and aesthetic consciousness appeared in Silla Dynasty clothes based on the aesthetics of authenticity that created the honest and simple aesthetic moving of the early natural aesthetic sense of the Silla Dynasty. Silla Dynasty clothes are found to have transformed into an ornamental aesthetic consciousness of a sensual and decorative aesthetic consciousness in a Unified Silla.

This study considers types of expression and examines aesthetic characteristics by analyzing images expressed through space directing at Chanel Fashion Shows. The conclusions of this study are as follows. The expression types on space directing at Chanel Fashion Shows are what is presented by distributing huge objects associated with Fashion Shows at the center or back of the stage, integrating several detailed decorative elements while maintaining the morphological characteristics of the runway in a linear form, and utilizing an inartificial place or newly forming the whole stage. The symbolism characteristic was first indicated for the aesthetic characteristics on space directing at Chanel Fashion Shows. Symbolism is indicated through the identification of an implicit meaning towards a specific object. The symbolism was highlighted utilizing elements or stories that have a deep association with Chanel. Second, the characteristic of ecology was expressed through the recognition of the importance of the ecological environment by escaping the harmful practices of civilization such as environmental disasters and human alienation. The expression of visual ecology was emphasized utilizing themes related to environmental disasters or reviving the space of primitive nature. Third, the characteristic of fantasy was shown to express thoughts that originated from the human yearning for the ideal world contrary to an incomplete society. Fantasy was created by the inaccessible object in reality and a change in spatial structure. Fourth, the characteristics of amusement expressed pleasure, which is the instinctive desire truly immanent in a human being. It was natural amusement, which was advocated as freedom through the integration of neutrality, integrating either diverse elements (which are naturally recognized in our daily life) into Fashion Shows or amusement, which expressed newness through utilizing unusual objects in Fashion Shows.

Since the late of 20th Century, philosophy, art, and aesthetics have attention to the movement of object that persue the dynamics and qualitative change, not existing fixed and quantitative object. Qualitative continuity, including discontinuity of specific spot and surface that occurs sudden change, is distinct characteristics considered in contemporary logo civilization, which combines and disperses according as various purpose among the different elements and objects. Therefore, I studied about the characteristics of qualitative continuity that creates the change and the differentiation continuously through the "formative characteristics of the continuity expressed in contemporary fashion" of my preceding paper. This paper is the following study of above mentioned paper, and Investigates about aesthetic consciousness leading to the various change. This is intends to consider the trans-aesthetic consciousness that accepts dynamic movement and change the different object and reforms new relationship continuously. This studies' conclusion is as follows; 1) sublimity-Infinity, de-constructive, excessive 2) jouissance - functional, structural 3) paradox-perceptual, spatial. A study about the trans-aesthetic consciousness would help to offer philosophical basis, and make a change building aesthetic foundation in explaining various relationship like as phenomenon of the retro, neo, post, fusion expressed since the late of 20th Century.

This study examines the socio-cultural background of a Nerd-chic look, establishes a conceptual foundation for Nerd-chic look and examines its aesthetic characteristics in order to understand the latest modern fashion phenomenon. Nerd-chic look is a combination of 'nerd' as a popular collective style and 'chic', which refers to the aesthetic value of a costume style. It is a look that is expressed in fashion that reflects the contemporary aesthetic desires based on a nerd's external features and inner values. The aesthetic characteristics of the Nerd-chic look are as follows. First, the Nerd-chic look express the aesthetic characteristic of bricolage that transforms the familiar meaning of an outdated nerd style to 'chic' image by the rearrangement of the typical nerd style and retro fashion elements. Second, the Nerd-chic look express the aesthetic characteristic of supernormal, as a plain, restrained beauty based on the Normcore fashion mood, disassembly and recombination of ordinary items, fit-free styling, and asexual styling. Third, the Nerd-chic look expresses the aesthetic characteristics of deluxe poor, which rejects stereotypical and expensive luxury and presents a more contemporary and futuristic spirituality. It is expressed in oversized shapes that are not intended to fit the body and show incompatibility between fashion items or way of dressing.

This paper inquires the elements of emotional design and the current conditions of its application in order to examine the particularities arise when planning emotional interior design for a women's clinic. Research was done by studying plans for elements of emotional interior design while site investigation was done to find out the status of women's clinic lobby. Six women's clinic in Ulsan were chosen as subjects while survey was done based on the studied emotional plan elements. The data evaluation was classified by the installed properties and substituted with image scale using emotional mensuration. The outcome is as follows; First, elements of emotional interior design was composed of elements making up the space's comfort and aesthetic appreciation, and elements stimulating human's five senses leading to psychological treatment. Therefore, the plan for interior design should merge the design elements that stimulate senses and social elements into one unified concept. Second, the composited elements within the plan should strive to stimulate sights by contracts and changes and add symbolic or meaningful elements based on the principles of design. In so doing, the plan should incorporate an aesthetic orderliness and a coherent image. Third, the interior of women's clinics should not only have psychological comfort but also liveliness and ease that suits 20-30 old women. To conclude, Color, form, finishing materials and texture should be selected with a unified style in mind and the plan itself should strive to generate playfulness though harmonious coordination.

The conventional boundaries between art and technology are being torn down by the development of science in the 21st century. It is fulfilling the convergence to emphasize two-way communication. This research is to study the aesthetic experience of the space design which appeared in the playful space of art and technology. The purpose of this study is to analyze the expression and characteristics of the art and technology applied for the playful space, to present the intrinsic value of aesthetic experience, and finally to focus on the necessity of aesthetic experience in modern society. In the Playful space of art and technology, research methods and settings of the range to study the aesthetic experience are as follows: First, establish a theoretical consideration about the concept and characteristics of the aesthetic experience, based on Philosophical theories. Second, analyze the meaning of art and the expression elements and characteristics by using technology. Third, discuss the concept of play and features of aesthetic experience in the playful space. Fourth, investigate analysis of the case studies, focused on the architecture and space design announced through the media recently. Finally, proposes the value for the applicability of aesthetic experience that appears playful space works affect us. I saw the aesthetic experience that appears playful space independent reaction and lead to behavioral changes and physical experience to maximize the effectiveness of participation. and it is to maximize a pleasurable experience, while increasing the commitment to participate in the space. Expressions using art and technology are activated by stimulation of the emotional experience, creating a new aesthetic experience. In the modern, the new environment is being created by the convergence of art and technology and it stimulates the imagination of art. Also, it has been newly regulated the meaning of human emotions and consciousness in the new space, surrounded by technology.

This study will analyze the aesthetic qual-ities revealed in the work of Vivienne Wes-twood in order to gain an understanding of the development process and uniqueness of modern avant-garde fashion. Westwood gained worldwide recognition in the 1970s as the Punk movement emerged in London. Although her works have often been described as decadent and anti-establishment, her anarchic view of fashion has had a considerable influence on other designers, both in England and around the world. Vivienne Westwood's works can be divided into three periods. In the first period(1971∼78). Westwood design demonstrated elements which were variations of the subcultural Punk style. The noteworthy designs of this period included ripped T-shirts, bondage clothes, and fetishist accoutrements. In the second period(1979∼83), her designs expressed elements from ethnic and primitive tribal societies through the 'Pirate', 'Savages', 'Buffalo Girls', 'Witches' collections, which inspired New Romanticism movement. In the third period (1985∼ ), through works such as 'Mini-Crini'collection, her works identified elements from the old west and used materials such as crinoline and Harris tweed and contemporized them by rearranging the innovative technique. In the end the news synthesis helped formulate new ideas. The aesthetic qualities in Vivienne Wes-twood's works can bed identified with the following themes : Punkature, Erotic Intelligent-sia, Anarchic Collage. First, within Punkature, Westwood's ideas are at the forefront as her impact on the cut of clothes and creative detailing have been considerable. Also, while her ideas can be extreme, her clothes are wear-able, resulting in the synthesis of Punk and couture. Second, as Erotic Intelligentsia, Vivienne Westwood does not present sexuality as a straight forward attribute that fashion so often tends to do, but instead as a matter for inquiry, exploration and debate. She asserts that sexuality is always an interplay between the polarities of masculine and feminine, of dress and undress. Third, as Anarchic Collage, she has taken, juxtaposed, and transformed objects and symbols from dominant culture, like every modern subversive movement from Dada to Punk. She has continued this form of anarchic collage, mixing styles from various times and places, taking them out of their traditional context. From thiss viewpoint, Vivienne Westwood's works can be considered to be made up of past themes merged with is contemporary. The usage of contrasting elements such as Punk and couture to communicate her ideas visually or technically.

This study was counducted to identify a relationship between the aesthetic costume arising from an and-social minority movement towards the end of 19c, England on the one hand, and bustle and crinolette style which were in fashion at that time, on the other. The aesthetic comstume is studied with articles and cricatures in the magazien "Punch" which was famous for its harsh criticisms of society. Aesthetic elements from various sources were praised or sometimes cricatured by Punch. Aesthets pursued naturalness as is found in Greek costume in reaction to the gross modernised Victorian costume. To be specific, the aesthetes pursued 1)loose robe instead of corset with bustle or crinolette, 2)2nd/3rd dimentionally-coloured dyes instead of anyline in the costume. Liberty Department Store in London has planyed a very important role as a major supplier or aesthteic articles to the aesthetes.
