  • Documentation is a typical method that helps students to understand a program for implementation and execute error correction and maintenance cost-effectively. Guidelines for components that organize documentation should be provided to enable to express computational thinking and such components also should be linked to coding process. In this paper, we focused on the documentation format to guide elementary school students, who were beginners in computational thinking, to express computational thinking. The improvement in the expression of computational thinking was analyzed based on the documentation format applied to the class, and practical tips on the importance of components organizing the documentation format were proposed.

교무업무시스템의 기록관리 기능 분석 - 학교생활기록부를 중심으로 - (A Functional Analysis of NEIS School Affairs Business System : From the Records Management Perspective)

  • 정보통신기술의 급속한 발전은 행정에 대한 국민의 참여 욕구와 다양하고 신속한 행정서비스 욕구의 증대로 나타나고 있다. 이러한 시대적 요청에 부응하여 교육과학기술부에서는 '전국단위 교육행정정보시스템(NEIS : National Education Information System-이하 NEIS)'을 구축하여 국민에 대한 서비스 제공과 교육행정의 생산성과 투명성을 높이기 위하여 노력하고 있다. 2003년부터 본격적으로 운영하게 된 교육행정정보시스템(NEIS)은 16개 시 도교육청 및 교육과학기술부에 시스템을 구축하고 모든 교육행정기관 및 초 중등학교를 인터넷으로 연결하였다. 그러나 교육행정정보시스템(NEIS)은 개인 정보 유출에 대한 우려와 관련 법규의 미정비에 대한 불법성, 보안 문제 등 많은 문제점을 내포하고 있다. NEIS 교무업무시스템은 학교생활기록부를 비롯하여 학생들의 개인 신상정보와 성적 등 준영구 이상의 중요 기록물을 전자적 방식으로 다량 생산하고 있다. 그러나 이렇게 생산된 기록물은 각 시 도교육청 DB에 축적되어져 있는 상태이며 전자기록물로 생산되고는 있으나 이를 장기적으로 활용 보존할 수 있는 정책이 마련되어있지 못한 상태이다. 따라서 NEIS 교무업무시스템을 통하여 전자적으로 생산되는 기록물 중 학교생활기록부의 기록 관리과정을 ISO15489에 따라 비교 분석해 봄으로서 기록물의 4대 속성이 보장될 수 있는 기록물 관리 방안을 제시해보고자 한다.

  • 본 연구는 1950년에서 1969년 동안 American Documentation에 실린 정보학 논문의 저자 성별과 관련된 변수를 검토한다. American Documentation은 American Documentation Institute에서 출판되었고, 당시 중요한 정보학 저널이었으며, 1968년 모기관의 명칭이 American Society for Information Science로 변경되면서 1970년 표제가 Journal of the American Society for Information Science (JASIS)로 변경되었다. AD 이전에는 ALA에서 출판한 Journal of Documentary Reproduction (JDR)이 정보학 저널로 있었다. 연구에 따르면 JDR (1938-1942)의 전체 논문 중 여성은 약 8%를 차지하였고, JASIS (1970-1996)의 초기 27년에는 22%를 차지하였다. 본 연구는 1950-1969동안 American Documentation에 여성의 논문을 분석하고 있다. AD라는 이름으로 발행된 저널 전체에서 여성 저자는 17%를 구성하였는데 이러한 비율은 초기와 이후 시기의 중간 정도에 해당하고 있다.

FSSC 22000 식품안전 경영시스템 특성이 기업 경영성과에 미치는 영향: 조직역량의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Effects of FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System Characteristics on Business Performance: Mediating Effects of Organizational Capabilities)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the impact of FSSC 22000 food safety management system characteristics on the business performance of food-related companies and to verify the mediating effect of organizational capabilities in the relationship between them. Methods: To achieve this, a survey was conducted among employees of food companies in Seoul and the metropolitan area that have implemented the FSSC 22000 food safety management system, and the following main results were derived. Results: First, the FSSC food safety management system factors, such as measurement/analysis and improve- ment, documentation, management responsibility, and service and product realization, were found to have a significant positive (+) impact on organizational capabilities. The relative impact was in the order of measurement/analysis and improvement, documentation, management responsibility, and service and product realization. Second, organizational capabilities were found to have a significant positive (+) impact on business performance. Third, the FSSC food safety management system factors, such as measurement/analysis and improvement, management responsibility, resource management, and documentation, were found to have a significant positive (+) impact on business performance. The relative impact was in the order of measure- ment/analysis and improvement, management responsibility, resource management, and documentation. Fourth, the factors of management responsibility, resource management, measurement/analysis and improvement, and documentation, excluding resource management factors, were found to have a positive impact on business performance through the mediation of organizational capabilities. Conclusion: The results of this study may provide important implications for the implementation and efficient operation and management of the FSSC 22000 food safety management system in enhancing the business performance of food-related companies.

온라인 자료의 인용 및 참고문헌 수록 양식과 국내 대학 및 학술잡지에서 사용하고 있는 인용 및 참고문헌 수록 양식 조사연구 (A Study on the Documentation Styles of Online Resources and the Documentation Styles Suggested by Graduate Schools and Scholarly Journals in Korea)

  • 현재 온라인 정보원을 이용하지 않을 수 없는 상황이 되고 있지만 이를 인용하는 방법과 참고문헌에 수록하는 양식이 국내에서는 아직 널리 소개되어 있지 않다. 특히 인터넷을 통해 얻은 자료를 논문에 인용하고 이를 다른 사람들이 찾아볼 수 있도록 참고문헌으로 제시하는 방법을 몰라서 어려움을 겪고 있는 상황이다. 본고에서는 연구논문이나 레포트를 쓸 때 참고할 수 있도록 미국 학계에서 많이 사용하고 있는 미국심리학괴(APA) 양식과 미국언어학회(MLA) 양식에 제시된 최근의 온라인 정보원의 인용 및 참고문헌 수록 방법을 조사하여 소개하였다. 또 국내 학계에서는 어떤 방식으로 온라인 정보원을 이용하고 이를 참고문헌으로 제시하는 지를 알아보기 위하여 대학요람에 실린 학위논문 작성 요령과 학회지에 실린 논문 투고 요령을 조사하였다. 1998년도까지 발행된 대학요람이나 학회지의 논문 투고 요령을 조사해 본 결과 온라인 자료의 인용 및 참고문헌 수록방법에 대해 언급한 곳은 없으며, 또한 전통적으로 많이 사용되고 있는 미국심리학회(APA) 양식, 시카고대학 양식(Chicago Manual of Style) 중 어느 하나를 정확하게 일관성있게 지키는 경우는 많지 않았다. 대부분의 경우 어떤 표준양식을 따르는 지를 알 수 없을 정도로 여러 양식을 혼합하여 사용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

한·일 수학과 교육과정의 외·내적 체재 비교 분석 : 직전 교육과정과의 변화를 중심으로 (A comparative study on the external & internal structure of mathematics curriculum between Korea and Japan : Focusing on the aspects of recent revisions)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 수학과 교육과정이 나아가야할 변화의 방향을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 우리나라의 2009, 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정과 일본의 2008, 2017 수학과 교육과정을 대상으로 초, 중, 고등학교급 전반에 걸쳐 직전 교육과정과의 변화를 살피고, 그 변화를 양국 간 비교하였다. 비교결과를 토대로 세 가지의 시사점을 제안하였다.

서울지역 초등학교 급식관리 영양사의 위생관리와 관련된 직무 수행도 (Perceived Performance of Sanitary Management of School Food Service Managers in the Seoul Area)

  • Seven constructs of sanitary management :time temperature, storage, cross-contamination, personal hygiene, equipment facility and documentation management were evaluated to investigate the perceived performance of sanitary management for school food service managers, Using a four-part questionnaire containing the seven constructs of sanitary management HACCP program, demographic information and characteristics of food service facilities participants rated their self-perceptions regarding sanitary management. Of the 550 possible respondents, 248(45.1%) completed the study. For the perceived sanitary manage-ment variables, the participants rated them between 2.66 and 4.16(5-point Likert scale). Temperature management presented the lowest performances while storage management showed the highest. The number of years of work experience of the food service managers and the serving location correlated significantly to sanitary management variables. Documentation management was also highly correlated to the other sanitary management constructs. The respondents ranked the managers leadership and professional knowledge regrading HACCP as most important, followed by the facilitys supporting equipment and human resources second, to successfully implement the HACCP system at the school food service facilites, Awareness of this study indicating low performance on temperature management suggests an active training program is needed for sanitary management of school food service.

The Determinants of Human Resource Information System Success in Japanese Manufacturing Companies

  • Purpose - The study sought to examine the relationship between individual characteristics and system features and Human Resource Information System (HRIS) success in Japanese manufacturing companies in Malaysia. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - This study adopt quantitative approach to investigate the relationship between individual characteristics and system features and HRIS. Toward this objective, a total of 700 questionnaires were mailed to a representative of the organization. A total of 187 questionnaires were returned, and only 145 were usable for further analysis, representing a response rate of 20.71%. Result - Results indicated that individual characteristics and two dimensions of system characteristics (ease of use and training) were significantly related to HRIS success. Unexpectedly, the results showed that the third dimension of system features (documentation) was unrelated to HRIS success. Conclusions - The results partially support the underlying arguments that individual characteristics and system characteristics have significant influences on HRIS success. The finding suggests that HRIS success in the organization can be generated as a result of good implementation of system support and employees' readiness to apply HRIS in their jobs.

밀기증후군을 가진 뇌졸중 환자에 대한 임상 실기와 문서화: 사례보고 (Physical Therapy Clinical Practice and Documentation for Pusher Syndrome in Stroke Patients: Case Report)

  • This study purposes to conduct visual feedback and body posture control training on stroke patients with pusher syndrome in order to reduce their pusher syndrome. This study also examines changes resulting from the training and applies the guidelines necessary for documentation of patient/customer management. The participant for this study was one patient with pusher syndrome. The study progressed from a medical examination of the subject followed by evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, intervention and treatment plan, and finally re-examination in order of precedence. Problems in the participant's functional activities, difficulties in changes from sitting postures into standing postures, and maintaining standing postures were determined as primary restrictions on activities and the improvement of these activities was set up as a goal through discussions with the patient. Interventions were mainly implemented to reduce the pusher syndrome with visual feedback provided using mirrors and exercises focusing on leaning in order to maintain posture while sitting. Changes from supine postures to sitting postures and the degree of changes in maintaining standing postures were compared between before and after the intervention by measuring times in the same environment and the degree of pusher syndrome was measured using the SCP tool. The process of this clinical practice was documented. The SCP score that indicates the degree of changes in the participant's pusher syndrome changed from 3.75 points to 0.8 point indicating a decrease in pushing. Among functional activities, posture changes from sitting postures to standing postures and maintaining standing postures were improved. In addition, since the patient could maintain standing postures, the patient could walk indoors. In this case study, mirrors and body posture control training used as interventions to relieve pusher syndromes can be easily applied in clinics to examine the form of functional recovery. The results indicated that these intervention methods were effective and thus it is thought that the results can be used as basic data to utilize these intervention methods diversely. In addition, the documentation of patient/client management was applied as actual documentation in Korean and based on the results, we could show decision making processes for patients' functional goals and objectively explain problems, prognoses and changes made through the interventions.

The Use of Antibiotics in Hospice and Palliative Care Settings

  • Antibiotics are commonly prescribed medications in the hospice and palliative care setting, as well as in many other healthcare settings. The overuse or negligent use of antibiotics is associated with the harmful consequence of fostering the development of antibiotic-resistant pathogens. Thus, there is an urgent need to critically examine and audit antibiotic use in all aspects of healthcare. In the status quo, there is a lack of consistent standards and guidelines surrounding the use of antibiotics in hospice and palliative care settings, leading to significant variations in how antibiotics are prescribed and administered in end-of-life care. It is apparent that greater thought needs to go into antibiotic decisions for patients receiving hospice or palliative care, especially considering the harmful consequences of the overprescription of antibiotics. The literature suggests that many clinicians prescribe antibiotics inappropriately for patients who would not benefit from their use or prescribe them without adequate documentation. Clinicians should be deliberate about when they prescribe antibiotics and adhere to the appropriate documentation standards and procedures within their institution or community. Future research should seek to generate generalizable knowledge about which patients will benefit most from antibiotic therapy during end-of-life care.
