치과기공사의 직무기반 국가 실기시험 실행을 위한 조사 연구 (Survey research to implement a job-based national practical exam for dental technicians)

  • Purpose: This study proposes measures needed to implement a job-based national practical exam for dental technicians. Methods: For this study, a survey was conducted targeting 244 currently employed individuals. The current national practical test for dental technicians was divided into directions for the job-based practical test, subjects that need improvement among the current practical test subjects, items that need to be reflected in the practical test evaluation for each subject, and subjects that need to be added to the practical test. It comprised ten questions (Cronbach's α=0.801). Results: The following results were obtained. Satisfaction with the current practical test was lower than average. Future improvement should focus on job-based evaluation. The dental ceramic lab technology subject needs to be reorganized urgently, and the tasks that require evaluation for each subject are different. Moreover, if evaluation subjects are added in the future, the introduction of assessment for dental CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) subjects was found to be the most urgent. Conclusion: In this study, the most necessary tasks of the current national practical examination for dental technicians were evaluated and the content needed for future reorganization was investigated. Future tests should be expanded to evaluate critical job areas. Furthermore, it is necessary to open new courses in fields such as CAD/CAM, as they are in high demand in the workplace.

특성화 고교 출신 취업자의 인식에 기초한 현장 실습 효과 연구 (A Study on On-The-Job Training Effects Based on the Perceptions of Employees from the Specialized High School)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 특성화 고교 출신 취업자의 인식에 기초한 현장 실습의 교육적 효과 및 취업 진로 결정 효과를 분석하여, 효과적인 현장 실습의 계획과 운영을 개선하기 위해 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는 것이다. 전국의 공업계 특성화 고교 졸업자 중에서 고교 재학 중에 현장 실습에 참여하여 해당 산업체에서 근무 중인 취업자 301명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 240부(79.7%)의 설문 조사지를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특성화 고교 출신 취업자의 인식에 기초한 현장 실습의 효과는 다음과 같다. 교육적 효과에 대하여 현장 실습은 직무 능력 및 현장 적응력의 향상, 직장 생활 관련 소양의 향상, 진로 지도 등의 교육적 효과를 발휘하였으나 전공과 관련된 고교의 교육내용에 대한 교육적 효과는 미미하였다. 취업 진로 결정 효과에 대하여 현장 실습은 기본적으로 취업 진로 결정 효과를 발휘하였으며 졸업 이후에도 지속적으로 취업 진로 결정 효과를 발휘하였다. 둘째, 특성화 고교 출신 취업자의 배경 변인에 따른 현장 실습의 효과는 다음과 같다. 성별에 따른 차이로는, 여학생보다 남학생에게 전공 관련 분야의 교육적 효과와 취업 진로 결정 효과가 더 발휘되었다. 현장 실습 이전의 진로 결정 유형에 따른 차이로는, 잠재적 취업 진로 결정 정도가 높았던 졸업자일수록 교육적 효과와 취업진로 결정 효과가 더 발휘되었다. 직장 생활 만족도에 따른 차이로는, 직장 생활에 만족하는 졸업자일수록 향후 지속적인 취업 진로 결정 효과가 발휘될 수 있으므로 현장 실습이 '특정 분야의 인재 양성'이라는 특성화 고교의 목적에 부합하기 위해서는 특성화 고교생이 현장 실습에 보다 만족할 수 있도록 운영되어야 한다.

1급 응급구조사의 임파워먼트와 비판적 사고성향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Empowerment and Critical Thinking of the 1st Emergency Medical Technician)

  • Purpose: This study examines the degree of empowerment recognized by the 1st paramedics and the trend of their critical thinking, analyzes correlations between empowerment and critical thinking to reveal whether there is statistically significant difference between them and then is to provide basic materials necessary for research on empowerment and critical thinking. Method: This study distributes 105 structured self-report questionnaires to the 1st emergency medical technicians working at fire fighting police boxes, general hospitals, clinics and emergency medical information centers in G Metropolitan City and J province from April 29 to May 28, 2006, collects their responses directly and analyzes results with t-test, F-test(ANOVA) and Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. Result: 1. First, average score of empowerment of subjects was 4.68 out of 6 and according to scores by area, capacity 5.98 was highest, followed by significance 5.41, self- determination 4.44 and effectiveness 3.79. 2. degree of empowerment according to general characteristics of subjects showed statistically significant differences in final education(F=2.714, p= .049), level of salary (F=3.298, p= .014) and satisfaction of current job (F=5.399, p= .001). 3. average score of critical thinking of subjects was 3.28 out of 7 and according to areas, no bias 3.95 was highest, followed by maturity 3.68, structure 3.35, inquisitiveness 3.11, pursuit of truth 3.07, critical thinking and self-confidence 3.00, analyticity 2.98. 4. degree of critical thinking by general characteristics of subjects showed statistically significant differences in age(F=2.577, p= .041), final education (F=7.877, p= .000), current workplace (F=3.513, p= .018), level of salary(F=4.628, p= .002), satisfaction with current job(F=6.879, p= .000) and intention to transfer current job(t=15.21, p=.000). 5. as a result of correlations between empowerment and critical thinking of subjects, Pearson correlation coefficients between whole empowerment and critical thinking were r= .21, p=.013. Conclusion: It is considered that the 1st paramedic managers must seek how to keep and manage empowerment and development of education and training program which can enhance critical thinking is needed. Further, emergency educators must develop educational program based on the concept of empowerment to establish early awareness of a desirable organization culture and increase understanding of empowerment in the process of education.

일부 치기공과 대학생들의 해외취업에 관한 의식 조사 연구 (A Study on the Recognition Level of Employment and Overseas Employment among Students Majoring in Dental Technology)

  • This study was conducted to research into the recognition level of employment and overseas employment on 173 students majoring in dental technology at two colleges in Daegu metropolitan city and Jeju self-governing island through questionnaires which are recorded individually. The results are as follows. 1. About 31.8% students chose dental technician department taking their aptitude into consideration when they entered college. 52% students gained information about dental technology through internet, and 57.3% students among them, which was the highest level, were under age 20. 2. 48.6% students responded that they thought the level of satisfaction with major was average and there was a difference according to their ages among the level of satisfaction or dissatisfaction with their major and the previous knowledge of major they had gained before entering college. 75.1% students said they wouldn't transfer to other major even if they were given the chance, which was much higher than the opposite case. And only 2.3% students had dissatisfaction at their major, which means students majoring dental technology evaluate their major positively. 3. Most students(58.4%) wanted to get a job for living cost and 53.2% students took advice from their seniors or elderly people in choosing their jobs. 64.7% students answered they should have professional skills to get a good job, which was different according to their ages. In addition, 51.4% students of dental technology department regarded the opportunities to exert their abilities as the most important element in choosing their jobs. That means students value self-decision and selfrealization when they choose their jobs. 4. The majority of students(32.9%) preferred to work at the dental laboratory in dental college hospital as their workplace. Moreover, seniors over age 21 wanted to work in the field of porcelain and juniors under age 20 preferred to work in the implant part concerning the field which students wants to work. 5. About 91.3% students have ever heard about overseas employment and wanted to work abroad if given the opportunities(77.5%). This points out students have much interest in overseas employment and positive attitude. And there was a difference according to age and grade in case of the preferred country when they work abroad 6. The main barrier to overseas employment was a lack of communication ability(63.0%), therefore, students thought foreign language education should be activated to improve overseas employment(26.0%). To show this more specifically, juniors thought foreign language education and internship are most important factors(both are 21.4% alike), while seniors thought foreign language education is essential(24.6%) as a way to improve overseas employment. Students also thought that participation in language study club helps to prepare for overseas employment(69.4%). When putting all these survey results together, it's very important to develop people in advance who have job ability and language ability necessary for overseas employment as well as to improve job awareness in the field of dental technology. Consequently, it's needed to seek for various ways to get a overseas job through foreign language education and overseas internship.

일부지역 치위생(학)과 학생들의 진학만족도와 진로방향, 치과위생사 이미지에 관한 연구 (A Study on Enrollment Satisfaction, Career Directions, and Image of Dental Hygienists for Dental Hygiene Students in Some Regions)

  • 본 연구는 치위생(학)과 학생들의 진로방향에 대한 기준제시와 치과위생사의 바람직한 이미지 구축에 필요한 기초자료를 마련하고자 대구 경북지역 소재 대학 치위생(학)과 재학생을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료 수집은 2013년 2월부터 2013년 5월까지 수행하였고, 수집된 자료 중 응답이 불성실한 46부의 설문지를 제외한 1,679부를 SPSS/Win18.0을 사용하여 최종 분석하였고, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 선택후회와 진학추천의 경우 1학년이 2, 3, 4학년보다 높았고, 전과의지는 3, 2, 4학년이 1학년보다 높은 것으로 나타나, 저학년일수록 진학만족도가 높았다. 희망진로는 모든 학년에서 치과위생사로의 취업이 높았고, 취업 희망경로는 1학년의 경우 교수추천, 2학년, 3학년, 4학년의 경우 공개채용이 높았다. 취업희망 지역은 대도시, 선택이유는 발전가능성이 높았다. 취업 희망기간은 모든 학년에서 결혼 전, 자녀성장 후 재취업이 높았고, 희망근무처는 1학년 대학병원치과, 2학년, 3학년, 4학년의 경우 치과병원이 높았다. 학년에 따른 치위생사 이미지 차이에서 태도의 경우 1, 2학년이 3학년보다 높았고, 신념은 1, 2학년이 3, 4학년보다 높았으며, 가치는 4학년이 1, 3, 2학년보다, 2, 3학년이 1학년보다 높은 것으로 나타나, 태도와 신념은 저학년일수록, 가치는 고학년일수록 높았다. 진학만족도 요인 중, 전과의지와 진학권유 요인이 치과위생사 이미지에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 치위생(학)과 학생들은 직업에 대한 정체성을 확립하고, 치과위생사의 바람직한 이미지화를 위해 노력해야 할 것이며, 체계적이고, 적극적인 홍보활동을 통하여 치과위생사에 대한 보다 정확하고, 긍정적인 이미지를 높이기 위한 끊임없는 노력이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

대구지역 치기공과 학생의 취업률 향상과 치과기공사의 인력수급에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Employment Rate of Dental Technology School Graduates in Daegu and the Supply and Demand of Dental Technician Work Forces)

  • The purpose of this thesis is to address the imbalance between supply and demand of dental lab technicians and to propose its solutions by analyzing the improvement of employment rate of graduates of dental technology schools in Daegu area and the supply and demand of the technician workforce. Preliminary and full-scale surveys were performed from Aug. 10 to Oct. 10 in 2008 on 150 junior students of dental technology schools who finished their on-the-job-training and 150 dental technicians who were working for dental laboratory in Daegu by self-assessment questionnaire. Followings are the findings of this study. First, regarding the gender of the dental technicians, 32.7% of respondents were female 67.3% were male. Concerning age, respondents younger than 29 years-old occupied the highest percentage(39.3%). With respect to the lab technology school they graduated, DaeguHealthCollege took the largest proportion of 87.3%. With regard to interpersonal relationship at the school, 58.0% of respondents felt their relationship 'smooth'. Second, about the motive of choosing to be a lab technician, the biggest proportion of the respondents(34.7%) replied that 'because it is professional'. Regarding the degree of satisfaction about the profession, 'so-so' was the answer with the biggest percentage(51.3%) followed by 'satisfied'(32.0%) and 'unsatisfied'(16.7%). It showed that respondents were generally satisfied with their major. Third, regarding relevance of on-the-job-training with 'preparation for the employment', highest percentage of both students and lab technicians(50.0%) replied 'so-so'. With respect to 'necessity of practical education', highest percentage of the students and lab technicians replied 'relating didactic education in college to the real world' with 52.7% and 40.7% respectively. With regard to 'the aim of on-the-sport-training', 'practical training of didactic education' was chosen by 54.0% and 47.3% respectively. Fourth, with regard to the 'types of college education advantageous for the employment', both students and lab technicians groups chose 'practical training' with the highest percentage. Concerning 'helpfulness of clinical training on employment', students answered 'so-so' and 'helpful' by 50.0% and 42.7% respectively and dental technicians replied similarly by 50.0% and 46.0% respectively. Fifth, with regard to the influence of financial factors on the supply and demand of dental technician(question #1), 68.0% of respondents agreed that 'salary plays key role in the supply and demand of the work force'. Concerning the question about working condition, respondents requested better working environment. With reference to interpersonal relationship at the laboratory, respondents replied that interpersonal relationship affects the duration of the employment it was found out that there were many conflicts with colleagues or dental office. Sixth, regarding the satisfaction about their profession according to the characteristics of the respondents more respondents were 'satisfied'(10.30 points) with their profession and 'unsatisfied' were 9.47 points and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05). According to the findings of this study, practical education on campus and on-the-job-training are as important as didactic education at class due to the characteristics of dental technology major. It was found that more practical training is related to higher employment rate. Therefore, efficiency of on-the-job-training by college education should be increased raise employment rate of the graduates and reduce the unemployment. Up-to-date information needs to be promptly delivered and future vision should be presented to the students to raise their satisfaction about the profession. In addition, to reduce dental technician's frequent change of their workplace after facing with the reality of the profession after graduation, related organizations should make an effort to present better future than now.

특정 대상에 대한 개인 수준의 문화적 성향이 사용자 경험에 미치는 조절효과에 대한 실증적 연구: 미국, 독일, 러시아의 4개 디지털 기기 사용자를 대상으로 (An Empirical Study on How the Moderating Effects of Individual Cultural Characteristics towards a Specific Target Affects User Experience: Based on the Survey Results of Four Types of Digital Device Users in the US, Germany, and Russia)

  • Recently, due to the globalization of the IT(Information Technology) market, devices and systems designed in one country are used in other countries as well. This phenomenon is becoming the key factor for increased interest on cross-cultural, or cross-national, research within the IT area. However, as the IT market is becoming bigger and more globalized, a great number of IT practitioners are having difficulty in designing and developing devices or systems which can provide optimal experience. This is because not only tangible factors such as language and a country's economic or industrial power affect the user experience of a certain device or system but also invisible and intangible factors as well. Among such invisible and intangible factors, the cultural characteristics of users from different countries may affect the user experience of certain devices or systems because cultural characteristics affect how they understand and interpret the devices or systems. In other words, when users evaluate the quality of overall user experience, the cultural characteristics of each user act as a perceptual lens that leads the user to focus on a certain elements of experience. Therefore, there is a need within the IT field to consider cultural characteristics when designing or developing certain devices or systems and plan a strategy for localization. In such an environment, existing IS studies identify the culture with the country, emphasize the importance of culture in a national level perspective, and hypothesize that users within the same country have same cultural characteristics. Under such assumptions, these studies focus on the moderating effects of cultural characteristics on a national level within a certain theoretical framework. This has already been suggested by cross-cultural studies conducted by scholars such as Hofstede(1980) in providing numerical research results and measurement items for cultural characteristics and using such results or items as they increase the efficiency of studies. However, such national level culture has its limitations in forecasting and explaining individual-level behaviors such as voluntary device or system usage. This is because individual cultural characteristics are the outcome of not only the national culture but also the culture of a race, company, local area, family, and other groups that are formulated through interaction within the group. Therefore, national or nationally dominant cultural characteristics may have its limitations in forecasting and explaining the cultural characteristics of an individual. Moreover, past studies in psychology suggest a possibility that there exist different cultural characteristics within a single individual depending on the subject being measured or its context. For example, in relation to individual vs. collective characteristics, which is one of the major cultural characteristics, an individual may show collectivistic characteristics when he or she is with family or friends but show individualistic characteristics in his or her workplace. Therefore, this study acknowledged such limitations of past studies and conducted a research within the framework of 'theoretically integrated model of user satisfaction and emotional attachment', which was developed through a former study, on how the effects of different experience elements on emotional attachment or user satisfaction are differentiated depending on the individual cultural characteristics related to a system or device usage. In order to do this, this study hypothesized the moderating effects of four cultural dimensions (uncertainty avoidance, individualism vs, collectivism, masculinity vs. femininity, and power distance) as suggested by Hofstede(1980) within the theoretically integrated model of emotional attachment and user satisfaction. Statistical tests were then implemented on these moderating effects through conducting surveys with users of four digital devices (mobile phone, MP3 player, LCD TV, and refrigerator) in three countries (US, Germany, and Russia). In order to explain and forecast the behavior of personal device or system users, individual cultural characteristics must be measured, and depending on the target device or system, measurements must be measured independently. Through this suggestion, this study hopes to provide new and useful perspectives for future IS research.

맞춤형화장품 베이스로서 리포좀 에센스의 물성 평가 및 피부타입에 따른 만족도 평가 (Evaluation of Physical Properties of Liposome Essences as Customized Cosmetic Bases and Evaluation of Satisfaction According to Skin Type)

  • 맞춤형화장품은 화장품산업에서 최근 사회환경의 빠른 변화에 대한 대응, 개성과 다양성을 추구하는 트렌드로서 지속적으로 언급되고 있다. 이에 사업장에서 용이하게 혼합하여 적용할 수 있는 맞춤형화장품 베이스로 리포좀 제형과 에센스 제형의 비율을 달리함으로써 피부타입에 대응한 리포좀 에센스 4 종을 제조하였다. 리포좀 에센스 4 종에 대한 휘발잔분 측정과 90 일 동안의 시간에 따른 나노 입자크기, 다분산지수, 제타전위 및 점도를 측정하였으며, 콜로이드 분산계의 안정성 평가방법으로서 터비스캔을 측정하였다. 또한 피부타입에 대응한 리포좀 에센스 4 종에 대해 간이 사용성 평가를 진행하였다. 결과, 리포좀 에센스 4 종은 지성용보다는 건성용 제품에서 휘발잔분량이 증가하였으며, 입자크기는 165 ~ 175 nm 범위로 시간에 따라 증가 경향을 보여 최대 31.5%까지 증가하였고, 다분산지수는 0.23 ~ 0.26 정도로 시간에 따른 변화는 거의 없었으며, 제타전위는 -74 ~ -72 mV로 시간에 따라 약간 감소 경향을 보이나 최대 14.0% 감소하는 정도로 변화가 거의 없었다. 점도는 2,580 ~ 3,290 cps 범위로 시간에 따라 감소 경향을 보여 최대 17.5% 감소를 보였다. 터비스캔 측정에서는 안정성의 척도인 turbiscan stability index가 모두 1.0 이하로 분산 안정성을 보였다. 피부타입 대응 전체적인 간이 사용성 만족도 평가(6 점법)에서는 중지성 피부용 제품(5.33 ± 0.75 점) > 중건성 피부용 제품(5.13 ± 0.95 점) > 건성 피부용 제품(5.03 ± 0.96 점) > 지성 피부용 제품(4.80 ± 1.04 점) 순으로 평가되었다. 리포좀 제형과 에센스 제형의 비율을 달리한 피부타입 대응 리포좀 에센스 4 종은 물성적으로 안정하며, 피부타입에 따른 맞춤형화장품 베이스로서의 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.

치과위생사의 근무환경 연구 -근무기관·경력·지역을 중심으로- (A study on work environments for dental hygienists: - focusing on kind of workplace. career and service area)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the work environments of dental hygienists, to find out about what problems there were with their work environments and ultimately to help improve their work environments. It's basically intended to pave the way for furthering the welfare and interests of dental hygienists. The subjects in this study were dental hygienists who were selected by random sampling from among the members of Korean Dental Hygienists Association. Approximately 20 percent of the members each were selected from every region across the nation, and their work environments were investigated in consideration of the kind of their workplaces, service area, career and field of duties. As for the demographic characteristics of the dental hygienists investigated, there were differences between those who worked in the field of health care and the clinical workers. More of the former were older and married, and the former was ahead of the latter in career and education as well. Regarding working hours and leave of absence by kind of workplace, the number of regular average holidays was different according to their place of employment. Dental hospitals(6.66 days) and dental clinics(6.81 days) gave their employees less days off on the whole, whereas public dental clinics(19.29 days) granted the dental hygienists the longest leave of absence. Also, there was a broad gap in the number of regular average holidays among different regions in the nation. The dental hygienists who worked in Gangweon province enjoyed the longest holidays(10.88 days), while those on Jeju Island took the shortest vacation(4.46 days). Concerning monthly mean pay by place of employment, those who worked in public dental clinics were paid the best, and the dental hospital employees received the smallest pay. Their monthly mean pay significantly varied with the kind of their workplaces. As to connections between service area and pay level in the event of the dental hygienists with a four-year career, those who served in Seoul were paid the best(1,820,800 won), followed by Gyeonggi province(1,795,800 won), Gyeongsang province(1,604,200 won), metropolitan cities(1,424,800), Gangweon province(1,300,000 won) and Jeolla province(1,016,700 won). In regard to the starting pay in the different areas, the starting pay was largest in Seoul(1,501,800 won) and smallest in Jeolla province(904,000 won). Concerning work environments by place of employment, the dental hygienists in public dental clinics, general hospitals and university hospitals were far older than the others, and the career of the former was much larger than that of the latter. As to the number of regular leave of absence, public dental clinics, general hospitals and university hospitals were different from dental hospitals and clinics in that regard as well. Concerning monthly pay, public dental clinics paid their employees the best, and dental hospitals and clinics were ahead in terms of pay raise. But the reason seemed that public dental clinics and general hospitals increased the pay of their employees based on a fixed wage system and according to a fixed rate at the same time. As for relations between career and work environments, the pay of the dental hygienists differed with their career. The amount and rate of pay raise were largest for those whose career was between four years and less than six years, and smallest for those whose career was between seven years and less than nine years. The above-mentioned findings of the study suggested that in order to give dental hygienists better treatment, pay and welfare benefits should urgently be improved, and that it's required to take actions to boost their job satisfaction. Besides, they should be given more chances to receive education or to take training courses in pursuit of self-development, and how to narrow gaps in work environments among different regions or fields should carefully be considered.

치과의료기관 근무자들의 프렌드십과 조직효과성 관계 연구 (Workplace Friendship and Organizational Effectiveness of Dental Hygienists)

  • 1. 연구결과의 요약 본 연구는 치과의료기관 근로자들의 프렌드십이 조직효과성에 미치는 요인을 분석하고자 실시되었다. 그 결과, 상사와 동료와의 프렌드십 수준이 높을수록 직무만족과 조직몰입 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 상사와 동료 및 부하와의 프렌드십 수준이 낮을수록 이직의도와 스트레스 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 치과의료기관 근무자들의 조직효과성을 높이기 위해서는 우선적으로 조직 내의 긍정적인 프렌드십 형성을 위해 노력하는 것이 중요하며, 병원 내 구성원 간의 긍정적인 관계의 효과를 강조하는 문화를 조성하고 다양한 위원회 및 QI활동에 적극 참여하도록 하여 구성원 간의 충분한 교류를 유도해야 할 것이다. 나아가 구성원 간 수평적이고 긍정적인 커뮤니케이션을 할 수 있도록 커뮤니케이션 관련 교육을 활성화하고, 구성원 간 비공식적 관계형성의 장을 마련하기 위해 체육대회, 장기자랑 대회, 동아리 활동 등에 적극적인 지원을 제공하며, 조직 내 갈등요소를 줄여나가는 고충처리제도, 멘토링 제도 등의 시스템적인 노력이 필요함을 본 연구결과는 시사해 주고 있다. 2. 추후 연구를 위한 제언 본 연구는 치과의료기관 내의 프렌드십이 조직효과성에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 프렌드십 활성화를 통한 조직효과성 향상 방안을 제시해 보고자 실시하였으나 다음과 같은 연구의 제한점을 가지고 있다. 첫째, 연구대상의 일반적인 특성을 찾기 위해서는 가능한 표본의 규모가 크고, 다양한 지역이 포함되어야 함에도 서울, 경기지역의 일부 치과의료기관 종사자만을 대상으로 했다는 한계를 지니고 있다. 따라서 향후 다양한 지역의 치과의료기관 종사자들을 대상으로 한 연구를 통해 연구결과의 일반성을 확보해 나갈 필요가 있다. 둘째, 조직행위 관련 연구에서 방법론상의 문제점으로 많이 지적되고 있는 동일방법변이(common method variance)에 의한 문제점이다. 조직 내 프렌드십 수준이나 조직효과성 관련 변수들에 관한 측정이 자기기입식 설문조사라는 방법에 의해서만 이루어졌으므로 이 조사의 타당성에 문제를 제기할 수 있다. 이러한 제한점을 극복하기 위해 조사 내용에 응답자의 상사와 동료 등으로 하여금 조직 내 프렌드십 수준, 조직효과성 관련 행동 등을 평가하게 하거나, 객관적 근태 및 인사고과 자료 등을 통하여 평가하는 등의 보완 연구가 필요할 것이다. 셋째, 과거와 달리 치과의료기관의 규모가 커짐으로 인해 치기공사, 서비스 코디네이터 등 다양한 직군이 함께 근무하는 형태로 변화해 가고 있다. 그러나 본 연구는 치과의료기관 종사자들을 직군에 상관없이 무작위로 조사하여 직군간의 프렌드십이나 직무만족, 이직의도 등의 차이가 있음을 반영하지 못한 한계를 가지고 있어, 향후 직군 간의 차이와 갈등을 반영한 연구가 요구된다. 넷째, 본 연구는 치과의료기관의 조직운영에 관한 연구에서는 전혀 다루어지지 않은 프렌드십에 관한 연구이다. 따라서 기존 연구가 전무한 상태이므로 현재 프렌드십에 관한 의식, 수준 등을 진단하고 프렌드십의 긍정적인 효과만을 중심으로 연구하였으나, 향후 프렌드십의 부정적인 면도 동시에 검토하여 보다 효과적으로 조직운영에 적용할 수 있는 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다.
