연안개량안강망어선의 조업 시스템 개선이 선원들의 작업 안전과 작업부하에 미치는 영향 (Effects of improvement of fishing operating system on a coastal improved stow net fishing vessel on the work safety and workload of seafarers)

  • This paper is the result of a comparative analysis of crew members' workloads using the EMG and OWAS methods according to the fishing process before and after the improvement of the operating system of the experimental vessel, with the aim of improving operational efficiency and safety work of coastal improved stow net fishing vessels. The target crew members were three people with at least five years of experience on board the same fishing vessel as the experimental vessel. After improving the operating system, such as installing a power block crane and two capstans, change the location of the ball-roller, the time required for setting and hauling work decreased (p < .01), and the evaluation results by OWAS showed that the overall workload for setting and hauling net work decreased. The results of muscle activity analysis showed a decrease in lashing anchor work (p < .01) in the case of hauling net and in anchor dropping work in the case of setting net (p < .001). It is judged that the use of ball rollers in net handling has been reduced; consequently, work safety has been improved.

Design of Optimized Ultrasound Clinical Work-Flow; Usability Perspective

  • Purpose Usability is an important factor in our life. This paper presents an approach to design the clinical work-flow for ultrasound system. And, we tried to apply this work-flow in diagnosis ultrasound system. Materials and Methods For user learnability, we follow international standard IEC 60601-1-1 and IEC 62366 which describes usability of medical instrument. User requirement are applied by 10 clinicians who are well aware of usability. We considered user environment and designed clinical work-flow into two types: general use and emergency use. The designed clinical work-flow was evaluated by 10 clinicians and results derived from the evaluation were analyzed. Results We could successfully design optimized clinical workflow of ultrasound system. Conclusion This paper suggests usability testing for optimized ultrasound clinical workflow. Using this clinical work flow, users can enhance their clinical performance and reduce operation time.

원가기반의 공동주택 마감재 정보관리 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Cost-Based Information Management System for Apartment Finishing Work Items)

  • 최근의 공동주택 마감재는 고급화 다양해지고 있으며, 그 종류는 기하급수적으로 증가 하고 있다. 또한 공동주택 사업 초기의 마감재 디자인 설계 및 대안 선정 단계에서 수많은 마감재 정보가 생성, 변경 되고 있다. 그러나 초기단계에서 마감재정보들은 체계적으로 관리되지 못하고 있는 실정이고 이는 마감재 원가 관리의 문제점으로 작용하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 공동주택 프로젝트 초기 단계에서 발생되는 마감재 정보를 관리하기 위한 방안으로 원가기반의 정보관리 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템을 구축하기 위하여 시스템의 개념 및 구성을 통하여 정보관리 시스템을 설계 하였다. 마감재 정보 초기값 구축, 대안별 정보관리, 원가고정 또는 원가변경의 조건별 마감재 선정 시나리오를 설정한 후 프로젝트 관리자, 인테리어 디자이너, 시공자등 프로젝트 참여자 측면에서 활용할 수 있으며, 참여자간 의사를 조정할 수 있는 원가기반의 마감재 정보관리 시스템의 프로토타입을 구현 및 적용하였다.

교대근무 간호사의 효율적인 근무형태 개발을 위한 실태조사 (A Study for Developing the Effective Working Pattern for Nurses in Shift Work)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to provide baseline data to develop work patterns for nurses that are suitable to Korean hospitals. Shift work patterns and nurses' preferences for working condition were examined. Methods: Questionnaires for nurse departments and nurses were mailed to 478 hospitals from June 1 to July 30, 2012. Nurse departments of 174 hospitals and 1,409 nurses responded to the questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS statistical program. Results: Of the nurses, 89.4% were working three shifts. Of the hospitals, 17.3% had implemented fixed night work. Although 80% of nurses preferred fixed time work, only 24.9% of hospitals had fixed working hours. Of the nurses, 57% agreed with night work as fixed but potential night nurses accounted for only 17% of the respondents. Sixty-three percent of the nurses agreed on short time work during busy hours. There were preference differences according to age, marital status and clinical career. Conclusion: As many nurses reported a preference for various flexible working patterns rather than three shift work, there is a need for new decisions on hospital policy to ensure improved working conditions for nurses and enhanced job security. Legal requirements also need to be considered for various work patterns.

공직사회 유연근무제 활용 만족도의 선행요인과 결과요인에 관한 연구: 조직문화와 조직효과성 관련 요인 및 삶의 질을 중심으로 (Examining the Antecedents and Consequences of Public Officials' Satisfaction with the Flexible Work System)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the antecedent and consequential factors of satisfaction with the flexible working system. Organizational culture was examined as an antecedent factor, while job satisfaction, work performance, organizational commitment, turnover intention, and quality of life were examined as outcome factors. The data of 2,785 public officials who used the flexible work system in the Korea Institute of Public Administration (2022) data set were analyzed using SPSS 28.0. and PROCESS macro's Model 4. The main research findings are as follows. First, organizational cultures that respect individuality and cooperation, supports management, and aims for work autonomy all positively and significantly affect satisfaction with the flexible working system. When ranking the size of influence by the type of organizational culture, work autonomy, respect for individuality, and a cooperative organizational culture had a positive impact in that order, with work autonomy being the most influential factor. In addition, the public officials' age, job preparation period, self-evaluation of workload, and overtime working hours are significant antecedents of satisfaction with the flexible work system. Second, when examining consequential factors, a high level of satisfaction with the flexible working system affects job satisfaction (+), work performance (+), organizational commitment (+), turnover intention (-), and quality of life (+). Job satisfaction was an especially valid mediator between satisfaction with the flexible working system and other consequential factors, including work performance, organizational commitment, turnover intention, and quality of life.

  • Newly constructed plate shape control system, using attached shape measuring instruments and work roll bender, was put in service in No. 2 Plate Mill, POSCO. Recently, customers demand the improvement of flatness and plate crown accuracy. Many competition Plate Mill introducted shape control system, for example, pair cross mill, work roll bender which includes shape measuring instrument and shape control mathematical models, and No. 2 Plate Mill, POSCO introducted work roll bender and shape measuring instruments. This report describes the properties of No. 2 Plate Mill shape control system and work roll bender.

빌딩공사의 안전관리정보시스템 개발 (A Development on the Safety Management Information System in Building Work)

  • There are insufficient models that find problems and solutions for accident prevention through risk assessment and suggest safe work process and work instruction from foundation works to finish work for accident decrease. This paper presents a quantitative risk assessment model by analysis of risk factors in each process such as foundation, erection, structure, equipment finish and etc based on accident examples and investigation on actual condition in building. In addition, the safety management system was developed to perform risk assessment of construction and use it for effective safety training for labor.

  • As residents and building owners demand maintenance that is required to achieve sustainable building performance, efficient building management methods are required. Even though the demand for maintenance systems is increasing, current maintenance work for high-rise buildings mostly uses conventional ropes and gondolas that pose a high risk of accidents and exhibit poor performance and efficiency. Thus, there is an urgent need to develop an automation robot system that can reduce accidents and improve the maintenance efficiency of the conventional high-rise building façade maintenance system. As a preceding work for the development of an automation robot system, this study classified and analyzed the work processes of actual construction sites and proposed basic techniques for the work mechanisms of the robot system by investigating the motions of cleaning workers.

품질 관점에서 가상 데스크탑 인프라(VDI)의 만족과 성과, 그리고 업무 상호의존성의 조절효과 (Exploring the Moderating Effect of Interdependence on Performance and Satisfaction in Virtual Work Environment)

  • With the explosive proliferation of smart devices that may be connected to the fast Internet, virtual desktop interfaces(VDI) are being implemented in enterprises allowing employees to work anywhere anytime in the same technological environment. As this kind of systems are intended to raise the work performance, a research model is constructed from the review of research literature on service quality and work design. The model consists of VDI system service quality (ubiquity, availability, compatibility, security and ease of use), system satisfaction, task performance and job satisfaction. As VDI is designed as a support system for cooperative work, the task interdependence adopted from the work design theory is postulated here as moderating the effect of user satisfaction on task performance and job satisfaction. 147 data points were collected by a survey of VDI users in a global firm and subjected to PLS analysis. Interestingly, ubiquity and compatibility seem to be not statistically significant for user satisfaction while availability, security and ease of use of VDI system are statistically significant. Task interdependence is found to be a relatively strong mediator between system user satisfaction and task performance, however, interestingly, the coefficient come out as negative. This may indicate that the influence of VDI user satisfaction on task performance would not be high in highly interdependent tasks. Considering that VDI is intended for supporting 'interdependence' in cooperative work, this finding is a bit surprising. In-depth discussions are made in the discussion followed by future research directions.

  • 스마트워크의 유형은 모바일 기기등을 이용하여 현장에서 업무를 수행하는 모바일오피스, 자택에서 본사 통신망에 접속하여 업무를 수행하는 재택근무, 자택인근 원격사무실에서 근무하는 스마트워크센터근무와 같은 형태를 의미하며 기존 사무실개념에 비하여 공간과 시간의 벽을 극복할 수 있도록 도와준다. 본 논문에서는 엘리베이터 산업의 에프터서비스 산업문야에서 모바일 오피스 시스템을 개발하는 과정을 설명하는데 개발된 시스템은 A/S Work이라 명명 하였다. 개발된 A/S Work 시스템은 M 엘리베이터사의 에프터서비스에 활용되어 기존시스템과 비교하면 다음과 같은 장점을 가진다. 1) 고객별 작업전후 사진관리 2) 현장에서의 고객만족도조사 3) 작업일지관리 앱 4) 작업자 근태관리 5) 그룹 SMS 기능.
