동의보감(東醫寶鑑) 중(中) 백지(白芷)가 주약(主藥)으로 배오(配伍)된 방제(方劑)의 활용(活用)에 대한 고찰(考察) (A study on Applications of prescriptions including Radix Angelicae Dahuricae as a main component in Donguibogam)

  • This report describes 94 prescriptions related to the use of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae main bl ended from Donguibogam. The following conclusions were reached through investigations on the prescriptions that use Radix Angelicae Dahuricae as a key component. 11.7% of wind. 10.6% of carbuncle and deep-rooted carbuncle. recorded the largest number of clinical frequency of the prescriptions in therapeutic use when Radix Angelicae Dahuricae was ta ken as a monarch drug in prescriptions, Prescriptions that utilize Radix Angelicae Dahuricae as t he main component are used in the treatment of apoplexy and carbuncle and deep-rooted carbuncle. headache. wound and they are also used for treating 26 different types of diseases. The prescriptions are compounded with Radix Angelicae Dahuricae as a monarch drug can ap ply to apoplexy, exogenous febrile disease, invasion by wind. wind-cold pathogen, wind-heat path ogen. epidemic disease, pestilence. bruise, bites, deficiency of liver and kidney, deficiency, phlegm-fire, phlegm-heat. The dosage of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae is 0.37g to 7.5g, however 3.75g has be en taken the most for clinical application. The function of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae is to expelling Wind and relieving pain, to expelling wound and forming muscle. to astrict and neutralizing poison. to expelling wind and to getting through body hole. to emit and relieving pain from the combination of drugs and prescriptions.

Construction of Gridded Wind-stress Products over the World Ocean by Tandem Scatterometer Mission

  • Products of gridded surface wind and windstress vectors over the world ocean have been constructed by satellite scatterometer data with highly temporal and spatial resolutions. Even if the ADEOS-II/SeaWinds has supplied surface wind data only for short duration in Apr. to Oct. 2003 to us, it permits us to construct a product with higher resolution together with the Qscat/SeaWinds. In addition to our basic product with its resolution of $1^{\circ}\times1^{\circ}$ in space and daily in time, we try to construct products with $1/2^{\circ}\times1/2^{\circ}$ and semi- and quarter-daily resolution. These products are validated by inter-comparison with in-situ data (TAO and NDBC buoys), and also compared with numerical weather prediction(NWP) ones (NCEP reanalysis). Result reveals that our product has higher reliability in the study area than the NCEP's. For the open ocean regions in the middle and high latitudes where there are no in-situ data, we find that there are clear differences between them. Especially in the southern westerly region of 400-600S, the' wind-stress magnitudes by the NCEP are significantly larger than the others, suggesting that they are overestimated. We also calculate wind-stress curl field that is an important factor for ocean dynamics and focus its spatial character in the northwestern Pacific around Japan. Positive curl areas are found to cover from southwest to northeast in our focus region and almost correspond to the Kuroshio path. It is suggested that the vorticity field in the lower atmosphere is related to the upper oceanic one, and thus an aspect of air-sea interaction process.

고해상도 KMAPP 자료를 활용한 제주국제공항에서 저층 윈드시어 예측 (Low-Level Wind Shear (LLWS) Forecasts at Jeju International Airport using the KMAPP)

  • Low-level wind shear (LLWS) events on glide path at Jeju International Airport (CJU) are evaluated using the Aircraft Meteorological Data Relay (AMDAR) and Korea Meteorological Administration Post-Processing (KMAPP) with 100 m spatial resolution. LLWS that occurs in the complex terrains such as Mt. Halla on the Jeju Island affects directly aircraft approaching to and/or departing from the CJU. For this reason, accurate prediction of LLWS events is important in the CJU. Therefore, the use of high-resolution Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP)-based forecasts is necessary to cover and resolve these small-scale LLWS events. The LLWS forecasts based on the KMAPP along the glide paths heading to the CJU is developed and evaluated using the AMDAR observation data. The KMAPP-LLWS developed in this paper successfully detected the moderate-or-greater wind shear (strong than 5 knots per 100 feet) occurred on the glide paths at CJU. In particular, this wind shear prediction system showed better performance than conventional 1-D column-based wind shear forecast.

태풍 시뮬레이션을 통한 한반도 극한풍속 추정 (Estimation of Extreme Wind Speeds in Korean Peninsula using Typhoon Monte Carlo Simulation)

  • 국내 서해대교, 인천대교와 같은 장대교량은 대부분 빈번하게 태풍에 의해 영향을 받는 해안에 위치하였으며, 교량의 길이가 긴 만큼 풍하중에 의한 영향이 다른 하중에 비해 상대적으로 크기 때문에 내풍 안정성을 확보하기 위해 정확한 설계풍속을 산정하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 태풍의 기후학적 특성 인자로 중심기압깊이, 태풍이동속도, 태풍이동방향, 최단접근거리를 결정하였으며, 태풍의 기후학적 특성들의 확률 분포를 추정하고, 바람장 모형과 중심기압상승 모형을 적용하여 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 대체적으로 제주도와 남해안 지역의 재현기간 풍속이 크게 나오며 고위도로 갈수록 작아지는 특징을 나타냈다. 이와 같은 특징이 나타난 가장 큰 원인은 고위도 분석지점 표본 태풍의 중심기압이 저위도 분석지점 표본 태풍의 중심기압보다 높기 때문으로 판단되며, 또한 우리나라에 해상에서 육지로 이동하면서 쇠퇴기를 겪어 점차 약해지기 때문인 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 시뮬레이션 결과를 도로교 설계기준 100년 재현기간 풍속(10분 평균, 지상 10m, 지표조도 II)과 비교한 결과, 태풍시뮬레이션의 결과가 낮게 나타났으며, 이러한 점을 볼 때 도로교 설계기준의 기본 풍속이 높게 산정되어 있다고 판단되며, 기상자료 분석과 같은 추가적인 연구를 통해 기본풍속 조정에 대한 연구가 수행 되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

  • 바람에 의해 해외지역에서 국내로 유입되는 비래해충들은 주요 작물에 상당한 피해를 초래할 수 있다. 바람에 의한 비래해충의 이동 경로를 추정하기 위해 기상 모형들이 사용되는데, 본 연구에서는 비래해충이 도달할 수 있는 지역을 예측할 때 입력설정이 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 벼멸구가 중국에서 국내로 유입된다는 가정하에 입자의 바람이동 경로를 추적하기 위해 개발된 HYbrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory (HYSPLIT) 모형을 사용하여 바람의 이동경로를 예측하였다. 중국, 한국 및 일본이 포함된 중규모 수치기상모형 자료를 사용하여 순간 및 평균 풍속자료가 포함된 기상입력자료를 생성하였다. 또한, 이동 경로 계산을 위해 계산 시간 간격을 1, 30, 60분으로 설정하였다. 중국에서 벼멸구가 관측된 지점에서 2019년과 2021년 6월 상순 기간 동안 바람의 이동 경로를 계산한 결과, 순간 풍속과 평균 풍속자료를 사용함에 따라 비래해충 도달지점에 큰 차이가 나타났다. 계산 시간에 따른 이동 경로 결과값들의 공간적 분포는 상대적으로 유사도가 높았으며, 순간풍속을 사용한 경우 벼멸구 관측지역과 비교적 유사한 경향이 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 바람 경로를 추적하여 비래해충 도착지점을 추정할 때 사용되는 입력자료의 특성을 파악하고 이들로부터 발생하는 불확도에 대한 고려가 필요함을 시사한다.

  • Casualties Damage from Smoke is very serious consequence. Especially, Damage from smoke in in the Subway Station is the terrible result. Smoke from the fire in the Subway Station that evacuation route on the path and the sight of refugees caused by serious traffic problems. Accordingly, A study on Smoke barriers of smoke systems take into considerations relate to effects depending on wind velocity speed of the piston effect come into the retarding effect of smoke control in smoke barriers. As a result of modeling, According to increasing of Velocity in the platform which installed smoke barriers were been on the increase spreading quantity of smoke in the right direction of upstairs however, In contrast spreading quantity of smoke in the left direction on the upstairs were been on the decrease.

Mechanism Development and Heading Control of Catamaran-type Sail Drone

  • The need for energy harvesting in marine environments is gradually increasing owing to the energy limitation of marine robots. To address this problem, a catamaran-type sail drone (CSD), which can harvest marine energies such as wind and solar, was proposed in a previous study. However, it was designed and manufactured without considering the stability, optimal hull-form, and maintenance. To resolve these problems, a CSD with two keels, a performance estimator, V-shape hulls, and modularized components is proposed and its mechanism is developed in this study. To verify the performance of the CSD, the performance estimation using smoothed-particle hydrodynamics (SPH) and the heading control using fuzzy logic controller (FLC) are performed. Simulation results show the attitude stability of the CSD and the experimental results show the straight path of the CSD according to wind conditions. Therefore, the CSD has potential applications as an energy harvesting system.

감천항의 해수유동 특성 (Flow Characteristics of Gamcheon Harbour)

  • Gamcheon Bay has complicated and unique flow pattern which is affected by topography characteristics of a semi-closed bay and warm water discharge from the power plant located at the bay. It is very important to consider warm water discharge with tidal period and wind effects, which are mainly acting on the surface flow patterns in Gamcheon Bay. The results of observation show as follows; i) Because Gamcheon bay has much elongated shape to the north-south direction and narrow entrance with two separated breakwaters, the flow is very weak inside the bay. ii) The main flow path is at the west side of the bay. The direction of flood current is northward along the west side of the bay and the direction of ebb current is southward along the west side of the bay. The southward direction of warm water discharge has curved to the west side of the bay. iii)At the period of flood current for neap tide, the flow direction is southward in the bay, which is thought by the effects of warm water discharge. But at the bottom layer, the effects of tidal current reached to the middle of the bay, and showed features like eddy. iv) The wind effect is very strong, especially, prominent in the west and east side of the bay.

  • In this paper, we develop anti-sway control in proposed techniques for an ATC system. The developed algorithm is to build the optimal path of container motion and to calculate an anti-collision path for collision avoidance in its movement to the finial coordinate. Moreover, in order to show the effectiveness in this research, we compared NNP PID controller to be tuning parameters of controller using NN with 2-DOF PID controller. The experimental results jar an ATC simulator show that the proposed control scheme guarantees performances, trolley position, sway angle, and settling time in NNP PID controller than other controller. As a result, the application of NNP PID controller is analyzed to have robustness about disturbance which is wind of fixed pattern in the yard.

  • Fuzzy control has been researched for application of industrial processes which have no accurate mathematical model and could not controlled by conventional methods because of a lack of quantitative input-output data. Intelligent control approach based on fuzzy logic could directly reflex human thinking and natural language to controller comparing with conventional methods. In this paper, the tested system is constructed for sending a ball to the goal position using wind from two DC motors in the path. This system contains non-linearity and uncertainty because of the characteristic of aerodynamics inside the path. The system used in this experiment could be hardly modeled by mathematic methods and could not be easily controlled by linear control manners. The controller, in this paper could control the system containing non-linearity and uncertainty because it is designed based on the input-output data and experimental knowledge obtained by trials.
