The main purpose of this study is to explore a way of South-North Korea fisheries cooperation through international organizations under the principles of the Korean peninsula trust process. Considering the government policy toward the North, although some humanitarian aids or cooperations may be plausible with permission of the Ministry of Reunification. direct cooperations between the South and the North Korea must be much limited at leat under the present government. The 5.24 measures taken in 2010 banned in fact all economic/humanitarian cooperations by private sectors and government. Noting the present and the visible future, an important question is whether the North accepts all cooperations including fisheries, bartering giving up nuclear weapon development for the 5.24 measures. It would be a difficult question to be answered, because win-set to both parties is too narrow, so far as there is no change in the South-North conflicting priority policies. If so, one way of implementing South-North fisheries cooperations is to drive forward cooperative programs through UN organizations. Since for instance FAO and WFP secure justification and roles and has a global network, they have sufficient capacity of being abe to organize fisheries experts. If the South can finance the budget necessary for the programs, FAO or WFP would lead the programs through a negotiation with the North. In other words, it is a type of cooperative model that FAO or WFP leads the programs and the South finances. In addition, if World Fisheries University(WFU) is invited to the Republic of Korea, it might make a great contribution to expert exchange of the North.
This paper investigates the textile negotiations between Korea and the U.S. which Korea, as a weaker party in the bilateral trade negotiation, was recognized as making a good performance by Odell(1985). Using the documents of Korean governments at the time - Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry - telegrams and reports from various sources the paper picks a leveling factor during the negotiations. In the paper, we used a dynamic concept of power for describing the negotiating power, and showed Korea succeeded in making the negotiation symmetric using the Special Cooperative Relationship(SCR) as one of the most conspicuous leveling factors during the textile negotiations with the U.S. The paper contributes to finding the factors that can be used in the negotiations with power asymmetry as a leveling factor for weaker country. Also, based on the findings from the paper, future negotiators can get insights on which factors be used, and how to use those factors for leveling the negotiations with a stronger counterpart.

In this study, group to set the military reserves has caused occasional friction. Therefore, for the protection of military bases and military facilities around the County win-win was to provide real estate management plan. As a result, when the first government actively involved in the planning and real estate expert, should be used to configure the advisory group. Using the second military real estate assets for future urban development should be. Third for the military Reserves shall continue to study. Finally, management and development of border areas to establish a plan to propose measures to be implemented.
This paper presents a coordinated planning model of price-dependent demand for a single-manufacturer and a single-retailer. The demand is assumed to be normally distributed, with its mean being price dependent. The manufacturer and retailer coordinate with each other to jointly and simultaneously determine the retail selling price and the retailer order quantity to maximize the joint expected total profit. This model is then compared to a 'returns' policy model where manufacturer buys back unsold items from the retailers. It is shown that the optimal total profit is higher for coordinated planning model than that for the returns policy model, in which the retail price is set by the retailer. A compensation or profit sharing scheme is then suggested and it is shown that the coordinated model with profit sharing yields a 'win-win' situation. Numerical results are presented to illustrate the profit patterns for both linear and nonlinear demand functions. The coordinated planning model, in addition, has a lower optimal price than for a returns policy model, which would result in higher sales, thus expanding the markets for the whole supply chain.

The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between the support activities provided by the franchiser and how they affect the intention of the contract renewal and business performances made by franchisees, developing dynamic trust between these transactional partners. Various supportive activities between franchiser and franchisees were divided into financial and non-financial activities and dynamic trust into Transitional-based trust, Calculative-based trust, Relational-based trust, and Balanced-based trust. These trust types, which are variable and adjustable based on the opportunistic behaviors of business parties, were applied to define the impact of the support activities on the contract renewal intention and the performances. This study was developed around domestic franchisees. An investigator visited business owners and manager level-employees, explained the purpose of the survey prior to the response, and the answers were directly written by hands. A total of 348 copies were used for the analysis. As the results of the analysis, first, financial support activities were found to have a positive(+) effect on transitional-based trust, calculative-based trust, and balanced-based trust. On the other hand, non-financial support activities were found to have a positive(+) effect on calculative-based trust, relational-based trust, and balanced-based trust, and there was no significant relationship on transitional-based trust. Second, the dynamic trust had a statistically significant positive(+) effect on inducing the contract renewal. Lastly, in the relationship between the dynamic trust and its impact on business performances, only transitional-based trust, and relational-based trust were found to have a positive(+) effect on the financial performances. In addition, relational-based trust showed a meaningful positive(+) relationship on the non-financial performances, and non-financial performace showed a meaningful positive(+) relationship on the re-contract intention. From the results, it can be concluded that the financial and non-financial activities for a win-win partnership between franchiser and franchisees are essential in not only forming dynamic trust but also boosting business performances as well as maintaining the business relationship. Thus, it suggests that building a win-win partnership can be promoted more efficiently by specifying activities best suitable for a particular relationship. In addition, a specific set of activities could be presented for establishing the level of trust that is formed in situations that vary depending on transaction risks and interdependency arising from having the transactional relationship based on the contract as the franchise industry features. Eventually, it is expected that this study can provide a way to promote the qualitative improvement of the franchise industry by identifying factors essential to establishing a sustainable win-win system and relationships that can improve the business performance of franchisees.
Since South Korea has problems existing in the respects of educational resources, environment, policies, etc., local universities of South Korea have been in an inferior position in the competition of overseas student enrollment. With increasingly deepening of cultural exchange between China and South Korea, due to geographic close relationship between the two countries, a great number of South Korean students go to China for study; also, Chinese students have increasingly become the important target of recruitment by all local universities in South Korea. In recent years, with rapid increase in the number of Chinese students in South Korea, the overseas student education system of South Korea has been progressed continuously. Compared with educational advantages of universities in European, American developed countries, and the capital region of South Korea, however there still exists a lot of problems in Chinese student recruitment by local universities. The major findings of the study can be summarized as follows. There exist not only some advantages but also some problems to be addressed urgently in Chinese student enrollment by South Korean local universities. How to build a distinctive recruitment environment suitable for Chinese students; and, how to develop a complete "one-stop" educational system suitable for study; and, how to make a strategy of development for Chinese students; and, how to perfect set up the overseas students' education management system; which are the remaining tasks to be solved for. To achieve a win-win for both overseas students and South Korean local universities, it is very important and urgent works to do for administrators of Chinese students in all local universities of South Korea.

Jirisan National Park was designated on December 29, 1967 as the first national park in Korea and that caused continuous conflicts between the violation of the right to hold property in this area due to several regulations following the designation and the nature preservation for the value of heritage for descendants. Thus, the objective of this study is to find a proposal for making decision based on the rationality that is able to solve these conflicts. To achieve the objective of this study, this study applies a game theory that supports a reasonable decision making process for solving these conflicts between interest groups around Jirisan National Park in which the component of this game consists of Jirisan National Park, residents, and interest groups. The Nash equilibrium obtained by the analysis of the strategy of interest groups for the use and preservation of forests and its rewards from the strategy as an nonecooperative game showed a behavior that chases their own benefits and causes lots of troubles. However, in the case of the results obtained from a cooperative game based on the strategy that includes some public interests accepted by interest groups and its rewards, it represented an aspect that solves conflicts through achieving a strategical set, which shows a win-win outcome even though the results of this cooperative game may present less rewards than that of the Nash equilibrium. Whereas, if there exists the public interests accepted by interest groups and truth for protecting such public interests, it is considered that it becomes a way that solves present structural troubles in the National Parks in Korea due to the fact that there exist uncertainties caused by the human rationality.
Wastewater process models are the essential tools for understanding relevant aspects of wastewater treatment system. Wastewater process modeling provides more options for upgrades and better understanding of new plant design, as well as improvements of operational controls. The software packages (BioWin, GPS-X, Aqua designer, etc) solve a series of simulated equations simultaneously in order to propose several solutions for a specific facility. Research and implementation of wastewater process modeling in combination with computational fluid dynamics enable testing for improvements of flow characteristics for WWTP and at the same time exam biological, physical, and chemical characteristics of the flow. Application of WWTP models requires broad knowledge of the process and expertise in modeling. Therefore, an efficient and good modeling practice requires both experience and set of proper guidelines as a background.

Purpose: The study was done to identify health behavior for cancer prevention in university students according to characteristics of the university students and other factors affecting health behavior for cancer prevention and to provide data to set up a strategy to reduce the cancer. Methods: Data were collected by questionnaires from 353 university students in G city. To analyze the sample survey data, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, and multiple regression analysis were performed with SPSS/WIN 15.0. Results: Significant factors that affect health behaviors for cancer prevention in university students were perception of health status, knowledge and attitudes about cancer, and smoking. These variables explained 21% of health behaviors for cancer prevention. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that in order to improve the health behavior for cancer prevention in university students it is important to development health education programs that focus on positive perception of health status. This development could be enhanced with structured and on-going education about cancer.
The purpose of study was to investigate internal and external problem behavior according to types of multiple-attachments exhibited to both mothers and teachers. The subjects were 120 preschool children (between 4 to, -5 years old), their mothers and teachers. The attachment classification of these 120 preschoolers was evaluated by an attachment Q-set. Data was statistically analyzed by means of one-way ANOVA, and the Duncan test with the SPSS Win 13.0 program. Our results were as follows, Firstly, significant differences were observed in the internal problem behavior according to types of multiple-attachments. Second, significant differences were also observed in the external problem behavior according to types of multiple-attachments. This study suggests that secure attachment relationships with teachers may compensate for insecure relationships with mothers.
