In spite of the notable advancements of millimeter wave communication technologies, the 60 GHz Wi-Fi is still not widespread yet, mainly due to the high limitation of coverage. Conventionally, it has been hardly possible to support a high data rate with fast beam adaptation while keeping atmospheric beamforming coverage. To solve these challenges in the 60 GHz communication system, holistic system designs are considered. we implemented an enhanced design LDPC decoder enabling 6.72 Gbps coded-throughput with minimal implementation loss, and our proposed phase-tracking algorithm guarantees 3.2 dB performance gain at 1 % PER in the case of 16 QAM modulation and LDPC code-rate 3/4.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies are perhaps the most prominent examples of wireless communication technologies used in the Internet of Things (IoT) environment. Compared to widely used Wi-Fi, Bluetooth technology has some flaws including 1:1 connection (one-way) between Master and Slave, slow transmission, and limited connection range; Bluetooth is mainly used for connecting audio devices. Since the release of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), some of the flaws of Bluetooth technology have been improved but it still failed to become a competitive alternative of Wi-Fi. This paper presents a method of data transmission through broadcasting in BLE and demonstrates its performance, one-to-many data transfer result. The Connection-Free Data Transmission proposed in this paper will hopefully be utilized in special circumstances requiring 1:N data transmission or disaster security network.

This paper presents proposal for an application (only for Windows-based Mobile) that can synchronize the Third Generation Windows-based mobile with the prescribed server. This application can be used by mobile users to send information directly to the WAS server wirelessly. In this paper a comparison between Third Generation technology and WLAN ( both are parallel technologies first one embodied by IMT-2000 standards and the second one by ITU Standards) has been made and also a comparison between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth has been made.

In this paper, it was proposed to develop front and rear image monitoring system for vehicle that help a driver to cope with urgent situation about a dangerous element. When parking a vehicle, the risk factors to be formed by the dead zone can be resolved by using anterior and posterior cameras of the vehicle. In embedded system environment, a SoC(System on Chip) and two high-resolution CMOS (Complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor) image sensors were used to transfer two high-resolution image data through he TCP/ IP-based network. To transfer image data through he TCP/ IP-based network, the images received by two cameras were compressed by using H.264 and they were transmitted with wireless method(Wi-Fi) by using real-time transport protocol (Real-time Transport Protocol). Transmission loss, transmission delay and transmission limit were solved in wireless (Wi-Fi) environment and the bit-rate of two image data compressed by H.264 was adjusted. And the system for the optimal transmission in wireless (Wi-Fi) environment was materialized and experimented.

In this paper, we proposed indoor positioning system with improved accuracy. The proposed indoor location measurement system is based pedestrian location measurement method that use the embedded sensor of smartphone. So, we do not need wireless external resources, such as GPS or WiFi signals. The conventional methods measure indoor location by generating a movement route of pedestrian by step and direction recognition. In this paper, to correct the direction sensor error, we use the common feature of the normal indoor floor map that the indoor path is lattice-structured. And we quantize moving directions depending on the direction of indoor path. In addition, we propose moving direction measuring method using geomagnetic sensor and gyro sensor to improve the accuracy. Also, the proposed step detection method uses angle and accelerometer sensors. The proposed step detection method is not affected by the posture of the smartphone. Direction errors caused by direction sensor error is corrected due to proposed moving direction measuring method. The proposed location error correction method corrects location error caused by step detection error without the need for external wireless signal resources.

Despite the abundant literature in the field, there is still the need to find a time-efficient, highly accurate, easy to deploy and robust localization algorithm for real use. The algorithm only involves minimal human intervention. We propose an enhanced Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) based positioning algorithm for Wi-Fi capable devices, called the Dynamic Weighted Evolution for Location Tracking (DWELT). Due to the multiple phenomena affecting the propagation of radio signals, RSSI measurements show fluctuations that hinder the utilization of straightforward positioning mechanisms from widely known propagation loss models. Instead, DWELT uses data processing of raw RSSI values and applies a weighted posterior-probabilistic evolution for quick convergence of localization and tracking. In this paper, we present the first implementation of DWELT, intended for 1D location (applicable to tunnels or corridors), and the first step towards a more generic implementation. Simulations and experiments show an accuracy of 1m in more than 81% of the cases, and less than 2m in the 95%.
In this paper, we propose a fire alarm system that utilizes Wi-Fi to alarm multiple people at once. This system, based on Arduino, uses smoke, flame and temperature sensor units to sense fire and send detection data to a server via wireless communication system. The server uses stored data to relay current fire situations gathered from nearby sensors to smartphones. It also automatically reports the fire using location data from sensors. Using this system, we were able to retrieve fire alarm from sensors via push notification of our smartphone. We also confirmed the establishment of linkage with sensors and automatic report of fire via SMS. From this result, the possibility of sending real-time notifications via the Internet toward nearby smartphones about disasters such as conflagration has been proven to be feasible.
This paper, wireless internet such as Wi-Fi has a vulnerability to security. Blockchain also means a 'Ledger' in which transaction information that occurs on a public or private network is encrypted and shared among the network participants. Blockchain maintains information integrity by making it impossible for a particular node to tamper with information arbitrarily, a feature that would result in changes in the overall blockchain hash value if any one transaction information that constitutes a block was changed. The complete sharing of information through a peer-to-peer network will also cripple hacking attempts from outside, targeting specialized nodes, and prepare for the "single point of failure" risk of the entire system being shut down. Due to the value of these Blockchain, various types of Blockchain are emerging, and related technology development efforts are also actively underway. Various business models such as public block chains such as Bitcoin, as well as private block chains that allow only certain authorized nodes to participate, or consortium block chains operated by a select few licensed groups, are being utilized. In terms of technological evolution, Blockchain also shows the potential to grow beyond cryptocurrency into an online platform that allows all kinds of transactions with the advent of 'Smart Contract'. By using Blockchain technology, the company makes suggestions to overcome the vulnerability of wireless Internet.
Telemetry system is a system that measures and transmits status information in the aircraft to the ground. The data received from the ground is information for monitoring the state of the aircraft, and can be checked and analyzed in real time through the test program. Data processing test system for telemetry currently in operation is built to transmit data using wired communication and perform test. As smart devices become popular due to the continuous development of information and communication technology, wireless communication networks are becoming important, and technologies for improving performance are steadily being developed. In this paper, we suggests and builds data processing ground test system for telemetry using wireless communication(Wi-Fi) that can be checked through smart devices such as tablets, in order to break away from the existing method and apply future-oriented technology. Finally, the suggested test system performance was proved by testing in various environments by linking test equipment and test program.
