Similar Video Detection Method with Summarized Video Image and PCA (요약 비디오 영상과 PCA를 이용한 유사비디오 검출 기법)

  • With ever more popularity of video web-publishing, popular content is being compressed, reformatted and modified, resulting in excessive content duplication. Such overlapped data can cause problem of search speed and rate of searching. However, duplicated data on other site can provide alternatives while specific site cause problem. This paper proposes the efficient method, for retrieving. similar video data in large database. In this research we have used the method to compare summarized video image instead of the raw video data, and detected similar videos through clustering in that dimension feature vector through PCA(principle component analysis). We show that our proposed method is efficient and accurate through our experiment.

  • The aim of this study is to show that using a Web-Based Instruction system is a better method to help counteract deficient teaching, learning conditions and facilities thus improving the students' interest, understanding, participation and skill development in Physical Education. The key findings of this study are as follows; The first advantage of using this system is that the theory of Softball is explained with the use of pictures rather than text, thus improving the students' understanding. The second is the method in which practical skills are explained and demonstrated. Action image sequences are used as opposed to the old method of using stationary pictures. This means that the learners can clearly see and understand why and, more importantly, how to use these skills. The third advantage is the technique used to teach the application of these skills. Using active rather than passive learning and thus engaging the student encourages improved participation and learning. The fourth advantage comes in evaluation: both subjective and objective questions are asked in theoretical evaluation, and the teachers can evaluate the students' understanding and skill development by filming their actual Softball games.   • An archiving system designed to enable documenting database of astronomical images, with functions of search and download, is being developed by Korean Astronomical Data Center(KADC) of Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute(KASI). The system consists of three PCs for web server, database server, and system management server. The search program for the web environment is operated in the web server. In the management server, several utility program we developed are installed: input program for the database, program for transfer from fits to jpg files, program for data recovery and management, and programs for statistics and connect management. The collected data would be sorted out by the system manager to input into the database. The online input is possible in an observatory where the data is produced. We applied the content management system(CMS) module for the database management. On the basic of CMS module, we set up a management system for the whole life cycle of metadata from creation and collection to storage and deletion of the data. For the search function, we employed a technique to extract indices from the metadata. In addition, MySQL is adopted for DBMS. We currently display about 2,700 and 25,000 photographs for astronomical phenomena and astronomical objects on the data, respectively.

  • In this paper, we capture learning while taking a video, play time and time line of the video frame in the form of areas that require re-learning in HTML5 mobile web store. When you select an image frame can display a list of the frame to take advantage of HTML5 Video tag up to 9 capture and save the playing time at the position. Implemented in a manner that runs Effects as compared to learning to run the entire frame capture learning and re-learning frame partial immersion learners matchumhyeong storytelling can be implemented. Interval Iterative Learning in a random order, so learners can level alignment by iterative learning on academic performance can have a positive effect.

An Implementation of Device Connection and Layout Recognition Techniques for the Multi-Display Contents Delivery System (멀티 디스플레이 콘텐츠 전송 시스템을 위한 디바이스 연결 및 배치 인식 기법의 구현)

  • According to the advancement of display devices, the multi-screen contents display environment is growing to be accepted for the display exhibition area. The objectives of this research are to find communications technology and to design an editor interface of contents delivery system for the larger and adaptive multi-display workspaces. The proposed system can find existence of display devices and get information without any additional tools like marker, and can recognize device layout with only web-cam and image processing technology. The multi-display contents delivery system is composed of devices with three roles; display device, editor device, and fixed server. The editor device which has the role of main control uses UPnP technology to find existence and receive information of display devices. extract appointed color in captured picture using a tracking library to recognize the physical layout of display devices. After the device information and physical layout of display devices are connected, the content delivery system allows the display contents to be sent to the corresponding display devices through WebSocket technology. Also the experimental results show the possibility of our device connection and layout recognition techniques can be utilized for the large spaced and adaptive multi-display applications.

Information Hiding Technique in Smart Phone for the Implementation of GIS Web-Map Service (GIS 웹 맵 서비스 구현을 위한 스마트 폰에서의 정보은닉 기법)

  • Recently, for the advancement of embedded technology about mobile device, a new kind of service, mash-up is appeared. It is service or application combining multimedia content making tool or device and web-GIS(geographic information system) service in the mobile environment. This service can be ease to use for casual user and can apply in various ways. So, It is served in web 2.0 environment actively. But, in the mashup service, because generated multimedia contents linked with web map are new type of multimedia contents which include user's migration routes in the space such as GPS coordinates. Thus, there are no protection ways for intellectual property created by GIS web-map service users and user's privacy. In this paper, we proposed a location and user information hiding scheme for GIS web-map service. This scheme embeds location and user information into a picture that is taken by camera module on the mobile phone. It is not only protecting way for user's privacy but is also tracing way against illegal photographer who is peeping person through hidden camera. And than, we also realized proposed scheme on the mobile smart phone. For minimizing margin of error about location coordinate value against contents manipulating attacks, GPS information is embedded into chrominance signal of contents considering weight of each digit about binary type of GPS coordinate value. And for tracing illegal photographer, user information such as serial number of mobile phone, phone number and photographing date is embedded into frequency spectrum of contents luminance signal. In the experimental results, we confirmed that the error of extracted information against various image processing attacks is within reliable tolerance. And after file format translation attack, we extracted embedded information from the attacked contents without no damage. Using similarity between extracted one and original templete, we also extracted whole information from damaged chrominance signal of contents by various image processing attacks.

  • Gangwon-do is a representative leisure resort. However, the provision of tourism information has not escaped the existing image- and text-oriented simplicity. Therefore, a linkage strategy for the content business is needed to revitalize tourist attractions. In this paper, first, we provide a 360-degree rotating VR content authoring function. Second, we propose a dynamic platform including a function that allows users to easily author tour scheduling after registering VR content on a map. Finally, the proposal system provides pre-tourism customers with an opportunity to increase satisfaction by providing online pre-experience.

  • The description of this paper was made putting the emphasis on CIM Interface configuration with a college policy program as the center whether it is suitable or not for a college promotion. CIM Interface technique for a college promotion is an expression method by visual requirements. Alternatives to a college promotion turned up which are depending on Contents, Image, Marketing strategies by visual elements. The application of consumer contents to give users information did the role of a channel inducing the users to join. Besides, an information designing enabled the information structure to be a visual expression by being grafted on content consistency. First above all, the implementation policy of such systematical formation could be found through University Identity Program-IMC useful as a branding strategy of a college promotion. Like this, a methodology which is able to increase the efficiency of college promotion through a process and a connection was established.

  • During recent years, a new framework, which aims to bring a unified and global approach in indexing, browsing and querying various digital multimedia data such as audio, video and image has been developed. This new system partitions each media stream into smaller units based on actual physical events. These physical events within oath media stream can then be effectively indexed for retrieval. In this paper, we present a new approach that exploits audio, image and video features to segment and analyze the audio-visual data. Integration of audio and visual analysis can overcome the weakness of previous approach that was based on the image or video analysis only. We Implement a web-based multi media data retrieval system called XCRAB and report on its experiment result.

An Improvement of Interoperability for HD-Class VOD Content Management System Based on H.264 (H.264 기반 HD급 VOD 콘텐츠관리시스템 상호운용성 개선)

  • Recently, although the requirement of quality of VOD content has been transferred upto the class of HD, conventional management systems characterized by OS dependency are truly limited in quality of video image, stability, and compatibility of network environments. In addition most of the content management systems realize very limited capabilities for the real affairs of content management and distribution services in such an OS dependent environment. In this paper, we propose a new scheme of HD-Class VOD Content Management System to solve these problems. We design and implement the proposed system based on open sources by using H.264 video compression method. The proposed system offers high quality content management method based on opened systems and independent on-line distribution method so that it can be realized as an integrated management scheme for VOD contents. Moreover, our system solves the problems of occasional cutting-down video, small screen, and poor image quality that exist in the conventional wmv-type CMS. According to the result of performance evaluation, our system maintains sufficient performance and tolerence for the case of large scale HD content operations or fabrications. We expect that the proposed integrated DB scheme will especially be effective when the content management applications are changed from Internet Web environments to mobile terminal environments.
