이동체 통신에 미치는 제선 간섭잡음의 해석 (The Analysis of the Effects of Interference and Noise on Land Mobile Radio Communications)

  • 임펄스성 잡음과 동일 채널 간섭이 존재하는 환경하에서 페이딩채널을 통과하는 MSK(Minimum Shift Keying)신호의 오율의 일반식을 유도하여 반송파 대 잡음 전력비(CNR), 반송파 대 간섭파 전력비(CIR), 임펄스지수, 가우스성 잡음 대 임펄스성 잡음 전력비 및 페이딩 지수를 파라미터로 하여 시스템의 성능을 오율적 측면에서 평가했다. 해석겨로가, 강한 페이딩하에서는 에러가 주로 가우으성 잡음에 의하여 발생되고 페이딩이 약해지면 가우스성 잡음에 의한 영향이 크게 줄어드는 반면 임펄스성 잡음의 영향은 그다지 줄지 않는다는 것을 알아냈다. 또 신호가 페이딩을 받게 되면 미약한 간섭파일지라도 수신 시스템의 성능을 크게 저하시킨다는 것을 알 수 있다.

Railway Governance and Power Structure in China

  • Over the last $15{\sim}20$years, many countries have adopted policies of railway privatization to keep up with increasing competition from road and air transport. Although each country and case has its own history, market characteristics, political context as well as administrative process, railway privatizations (including railway restructure, concession etc.) in the west usually are accompanied with the establishment of new regulatory regimes. Therefore, railway governance has been innovating towards an interaction of government, regulator, industry bodies, user groups, trade unions and other interested groups within the regulatory framework. However, it is not the case in China. Although China had seen a partial privatization in some branch lines and is experiencing a much larger-scale privatization by establishing joint-ventures to build and operate high-speed passenger lines and implementing an asset-based securitization program, administrative control still occupies absolutely dominant position in the railway governance in China. Ministry of Railway (MOR) acts as the administrator, operator as well as regulator. There is no national policy that clearly positions railway in the transportation network and clarifies the role of government in railway development. There is also little participation from interested groups in the railway policy making, pricing, service standard or safety matter. Railway in China is solely governed by the mere executive agency. Efficiency-focused economic perspective explanation is far from satisfaction. A wider research perspective from political and social regime is of great potential to better explain and solve the problem. In the west, separation and constrains of power had long been established as a fundamental rule. In addition to internal separation of political power(legislation, execution and jurisdiction), rise of corporation in the 19th century and association revolution in the 20th century greatly fostered the growth of economic and social power. Therefore, political, social and economic organizations cooperate and compete with each other, which leads to a balanced and resonable power structure. While in China, political power, mainly party-controlled administrative power has been keeping a dominated position since the time of plan economy. Although the economic reform promoted the growth of economic power of enterprises, it is still not strong enough to compete with political power. Furthermore, under rigid political control, social organizations usually are affiliated to government, independent social power is still too weak to function. So, duo to the limited and slow reform in political and social regime in China, there is an unbalanced power structure within which political power is dominant, economic power expanding while social power still absent. Totally different power structure in China determines the fundamental institutional environment of her railway privatization and governance. It is expected that the exploration of who act behind railway governance and their acting strength (a power theory) will present us a better picture of railway governance as a relevant transportation mode. The paper first examines the railway governance in China and preliminarily establishes a linkage between railway governance and its fundamental institutional environment, i.e. power structure in a specific country. Secondly, the reason why there is no national policy in China is explored in the view of political power. In China, legislative power is more symbolic while party-controlled administrative power dominates political process and plays a fundamental role in Chinese railway governance. And then, in the part three railway finance reform is analyzed in the view of economic power, esp. the relationship of political power and economic power.

Public Opinion of the King Sejong Institute in China - Based on the Analysis of Media Reports from WeChat Official Accounts

  • International public opinion on King Sejong Institute (KSI) is one of the most important factors influencing its overseas development as a worldwide non-profit educational service organization. China is one of the overseas strategic regions for KSI to spread the Korean Language. This paper intends to assess KSI's current public opinion environment in China. With content analysis of 87 news reports related to KSI in WeChat Official Accounts from 2014 to 2022, this paper attempts to assess the public opinion environment of KSI in China. In this paper, we show that the Chinese media' s current attention to KSI is generally lacking. The current reports focus more on activity narrations, and the main report factors come from local media and universities' oncampus news, which have relatively weak dissemination power and limited influences. On one side, the reasons are related to the characteristics of Chinese media, while the KSI establishment method in China also accounts for a lot. Therefore, it is necessary for the KSI to timely adjust the cooperation mode and publicity strategies according to the Chinese political and cultural characteristics to promote the sustainable development of KSI in China by continuously improving the public opinion environment.

전력선 통신을 이용한 에어컨 피크 전력 제어 시스템 개발 (Development of Air Conditioner Peak Electric Power Control System using Power Line Communication)

  • 본 논문에서는 전력선 통신을 이용한 에어컨 피크 전력 제어 시스템을 개발하였다. 기존의 유선 RS-485통신 방식의 경우 별도의 통신 선로 설치가 필요하여 기존 건물에 설치하기 어려운 문제점과 무선 통신 방식의 경우 차폐된 공간에서는 설치가 용이하지 못한 문제점을 전력선 통신 방식을 채택하여 개선하였다. 기존에는 단상에만 적용된 것을 3상 4선식에도 적용할 수 있도록 개선하여 국내 모든 전기 환경에서 설치가 가능하도록 하였다. 전력선 통신을 이용한 타 시스템의 경우 전력선 모뎀을 별도로 부착하도록 되어 있으나 본 논문에서는 일체형으로 설계 구현하여 안정성 및 경제성을 높였다. 따라서 본 시스템의 가장 큰 장점인 설치의 용이성, 안전성과 경제성으로 인하여, 보다 확대 적용이 가능하여 에너지 절약이 절실히 필요한 현 시점에서 에어컨 피크 전력 관리 시스템의 활성화에 크게 기여 할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서 구현된 시스템의 검증은 원격 에어컨 제어기 및 전력선 게이트웨이에 대한 설계 검증 시험과 전체 시스템의 필드 시험을 통해 성능 및 신뢰성의 우수함을 검증하였다.

국내 미약 전계 강도 무선 기기 기술기준 개선 방안 및 제안 (Reforming Method & Proposal for the Technical Regulations of Weak Field Strength Radio Equipment in Domestic)

  • 최근 세계 무선 통신 환경은 선진국가별로 다양한 통신 기술에 대한 기준 마련 및 표준화가 진행되고 있다. 이에 따른 통신 환경 변화에 대처하기 위하여 국내에서도 여러 분야에 걸쳐 다양하게 기술 기준 및 표준화에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 미약 무선국의 전계 강도(기술 기준)에 대한 현재 각국의 동향과 그 기준치를 연구 분석하고, 파악함과 동시에, 또한, 전자파 적합 등록에서 제시하고 있는 각국의 전계 강도 기준치와 연계하여 이에 적합한 국내의 비허가 무선 기기(미약 무선 기기)의 실질적인 도입 가능한 전계 강도의 기준치를 제시함을 목적으로 한다. 여기에서 제시한 전계 강도 허용치를 바탕으로, 미약 무선 기기의 보급과 발전에 기여할 것으로 예상되며 국내 통신 시장은 물론 국제 통신 시장에서 경쟁력을 갖출 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

선박 통항로와 해상풍력단지 간 최적의 이격거리 산정 모델 개발 (Development of a Calculation Model for an Optimal Safe Distance between Ship Routes and Offshore Wind Sites)

  • 전 세계적으로 해상을 마주하고 있는 여러 국가들은 기존의 전력 생산방식의 단점을 극복하고 해상풍력 개발을 통한 친환경에너지자원을 활용하고 있다. 해상은 넓은 해역에 대규모 풍력단지를 개발할 수 있는 장점이 있으나 해양구조물의 설치로 인해 선박의 안전운항이 위협받고 있다. 이에 따라, 선박 통항로와 해상풍력단지 간 상호 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하여 선박이 안전하게 운항할 수 있도록 PIANC에서는 표준 Guideline을 제시하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 표준 Guideline은 모든상황에서 동일한 이격거리를 산정하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 선회성능, 조우상태, 환경외력, 해상밀집도, 해상풍력발전기, 항로형태 등을 요소로 반영한 선박 통항로와 해상풍력단지 간 최적의 이격거리 산정 모델을 개발하였다. 개발된 모델 검증을 위한 시뮬레이션 결과, 운항 준비상태에 따른 입지 특성별 선회성능 크기는 산정 모델에서 제시한 크기와 유사하였다.

당일여가용 Recreation시설의 포지셔닝에 관한 연구 -서울시를 중심 으로- (Application of Market Positioning to One-Day Use Recreation Areas in Seoul and Its Suburbs)

  • the purpose of this study was to suggest managemental strategies for one-day use recreational area in public sector under competitive environment with private sector. Data was collected from citizens of Seoul, and 10 recreational areas were determined by a preliminary survey. Theses areas were regarded as "products", then positioning was applied to these products. Perceptual map was produced by multidimensional scaling to identify degree of competition among areas. Properties, which were developed by the Kelly Repertory Grid, were utilized to understand the strong and weak points of each area. Ideal types of recreational areas were analyzed by PREFMAP, then the size and distribution of recreation market of Seoul were found by grouping of individual ideal point by cluster analysis. Several strategies were suggested to enhance the competitive power for public recreation areas, and a few comments were described to improve this method for future research.

LPG 탱크로리 수송중 위험성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Risk Assessment in LPG Transportation by Tank Lorry)

  • Demand of LPG and LNG will increase continuously due to high calories, clearness, and convenience for usage. These gases are used widely for power plants, industrial plants, and domestic fuel. But accidents related with gas are increasing in proportion to increment of gas usage. Especially LPG has high ignitability due to weak dispersion to air and accumulation at low place because LPG is heavier than air. There are many hazards during transportation as well as production, storage, and usage of LPG. Commonly, tank lorry is used for inland transportation of LPG. If tank lorry were to raise leakage incidents and then LPG released during transporting, the accidents cause serious effects on the environment as well as human damage of surrounding area. In this study, therefore, hazards which cause LPG of tank lorry to leak during transportation were identified and risk of LPG transportation was assessed quantitatively. Also, the result of this study might be a useful measure for predicting damage and preparing safe transportation strategies of LPG tank lorry.

센서 데이터 스트림 환경에서 효율적인 질의처리 연구방향 (Research Directions for Efficient Query Processing over Sensor Data Streams)

  • 센서 네트워크는 센싱(sensing), 연산(computation), 통신(communication) 능력을 갖춘 센서 노드들의 무선 네트워크라고 할 수 있다. 각각의 센서 노드들은 노드에 있는 하나 이상의 센서들에 의해 얻어지는 데이터아이템들을 생성한다. 이러한 특징은 센서 네트워크가 분산 데이터베이스 시스템과도 유사한 특징을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있다. 그러나 센서 네트워크에서 센서 노드의 제한된 전력(power)과 메모리 자원은 가장 큰 단점이며 주요 연구 대상이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 센서 네트워크 환경에서 발생되는 데이터 즉, 센서 데이터 스트림을 제한된 자원을 효율적으로 활용하면서 질의에 대해 효율적으로 응답하는 방안을 여러 가지 측면에서 모색해 보았다.

  • Radio frequency (RF) energy harvesting technology have become a reliable and promising alternative to extend the lifetime of power-constrained wireless networks by eliminating the need for batteries. This emerging technology enables the low-power wireless devices to be self-sustaining and eco-friendly by scavenging RF energy from ambient environment or dedicated energy sources. These attributes make RF energy harvesting technology feasible and attractive to an extended range of applications. However, despite being the most reliable energy harvesting technology, there are several challenges (especially power conversion efficiency, output DC voltage and sensitivity) poised for the implementation of RF energy harvesting systems. In this article, a detailed literature on RF energy harvesting technology has been surveyed to provide guidance for RF energy harvesters design. Since signal strength of the received RF power is limited and weak, high efficiency state-of-the-art RF energy harvesters are required to design for providing sufficient DC supply voltage to wireless networks. Therefore, various designs and their trade-offs with comprehensive analysis for RF energy harvesters have been discussed. This paper can serve as a good reference for the researchers to catch new research topics in the field of RF energy harvesting.
