3차원 의상 모델링 시스템을 이용한 여성용 테일러드 재킷의 맞음새 평가 (A Study on the Fit Preferences of the Tailored Jacket for Women Using 3D Clothes Modeling System)

  • This study evaluates the fit preference of the tailored jacket according to body types for 20's adult women through a comparison of real and virtual fit. A five point fit evaluation scale utilizing a wearer acceptability scale by Shen and Huck was used to evaluate the degree of the preference of real and virtual fit. This scale contained 23 items in three categories: front fit, back fit, and side fit. For each item, 5 responses from 'too tight' fit (1 point) to 'too loose' fit (5 point) were possible. The middle position for each fit criterion indicated a 'good' fit (3 point). The data were analyzed with a t-test using statistical program SPSS 17.0. According to the results, there were no significant differences ($p{\leq}.05$) between the real and virtual fit preference in total measurement items such as front collar, lapel and roll line, front shoulder slope, front armhole, front waist, abdomen, sideseam, hemline, front silhouette, side shoulder, side armhole, side sleeve width, side hip, side silhouette, back collar stand, upper back, back armhole, back waist, back hip, back silhouette except front bust, side waist, and back center back. The factor that caused a difference in the fit preference between the real and virtual fit evaluation was a specific body type such as Body Type A that indicated a small bust circumference and a big hip circumference.

Finite Type Invariants and the Kauffman Bracket Polynomials of Virtual Knots

  • In [9], Kauffman introduced virtual knot theory and generalized many classical knot invariants to virtual ones. For example, he extended the Jones polynomials $V_K(t)$ of classical links to the f-polynomials $f_K(A)$ of virtual links by using bracket polynomials. In [4], M. Goussarov, M. Polyak and O. Viro introduced finite type invariants of virtual knots. In this paper, we give a necessary condition for a virtual knot invariant to be of finite type by using $t(a_1,{\cdots},a_m)$-sequences of virtual knots. Then we show that the higher derivatives $f_K^{(n)}(a)$ of the f-polynomial $f_K(A)$ of a virtual knot K at any point a are not of finite type unless $n{\leq}1$ and a = 1.

옥외 증강현실을 위한 관측점 트래킹 시스템 구현 (Implementation of View Point Tracking System for Outdoor Augmented Reality)

  • 한글 본 논문에서는 개방된 광역을 대상으로 하는 옥외 증강현실을 위한 관측점 트래킹 시스템을 구현하였다. 옥외용 증강현실 시스템은 관측점이 이동하면 주위환경이 변하기 때문에 이동체의 위치와 관측시점의 위치를 트래킹 해야만 실제영상과 가상영상의 정확한 정합이 가능하다. 따라서 옥외용 증강현실의 전역 트래킹은 이동체의 위치와 방향을 추적하는 시스템이므로 GPS를 응용하여 구현하였다. 지역 트래킹 시스템은 이동할 때 현재 위치에서 이동체 내부의 사용자가 바라보는 시점의 변화를 추적하기 위한 장치이므로 제한된 영역에서 시점 트래킹이 가능한 광학식 위치 추적 시스템을 사용하여 구현하였다. 따라서 본 논문은 실제 영상과 실시간으로 트래킹된 가상정보를 정합함으로서 제한적이지만 옥외용 증강현실 시스템의 응용분야에 적용 가능성을 보였다.

두장의 사진을 이용한 광삼각법 삼차원측정 (Coordinate Measuring Technique based on Optical Triangulation using the Two Images)

  • This paper describes a coordinate measuring technique based on optical triangulation using the two images. To overcome the defect of structured light system which measures coordinate point by point, light source is replaced by CCD camera. Pixels in CCD camera were considered as virtual light source. The overall geometry including two camera images is modeled. Using this geometry, the formula for calculating 3D coordinate of specified point is derived. In a word, the ray from a virtual light source was reflected on measuring point and the corresponding image point was made on the other image. Through the simulation result, validation of formula is verified. This method enables to acquire multiple points detection by photographing.

Modeling of vision based robot formation control using fuzzy logic controller and extended Kalman filter

  • A modeling of vision based robot formation control system using fuzzy logic controller and extended Kalman filter is presented in this paper. The main problems affecting formation controls using fuzzy logic controller and vision based robots are: a robot's position in a formation need to be maintained, how to develop the membership function in order to obtain the optimal fuzzy system control that has the ability to do the formation control and the noise coming from camera process changes the position of references view. In order to handle these problems, we propose a fuzzy logic controller system equipped with a dynamic output membership function that controls the speed of the robot wheels to handle the maintenance position in formation. The output membership function changes over time based on changes in input at time t-1 to t. The noises appearing in image processing change the virtual target point positions are handled by Extended Kalman filter. The virtual target positions are established in order to define the formations. The virtual target point positions can be changed at any time in accordance with the desired formation. These algorithms have been validated through simulation. The simulations confirm that the follower robots reach their target point in a short time and are able to maintain their position in the formation although the noises change the target point positions.

길원형의 목옆점 위치와 어깨각도 변화에 따른 가상착의 비교 (Comparison of Virtual Clothing Simulation by Placement of Lateral Neck Point and Shoulder Angles of Bodice Pattern)

  • In this study, we analyzed the results of virtual clothing simulation according to the difference in the lateral neck point as well as the front and back shoulder inclination angles of the bodice foundation. Lim's (2016) (S) and Lee's (1999) method (L) were selected as the different setting for the lateral neck point. S1, S2, L1 and L2 were developed by changing the shoulder inclination angles. The SND and LND were developed by removing the darts in the S and L, respectively; in addition, the SND1, SND2, LND1, and LND2 were developed with different shoulder inclination angles. The results of S and L were similar with only slight differences observed in the armhole shape. However, the results of SND and LND were very different. The patterns of the S series were similar to each other, but the patterns of the L series were different. In addition, the patterns of the SND and LND series could not find a similar trend.

  • A human operator is able to perform some tasks smoothly with force feedvack for the teleoperation or a virtual device in a the virtual environments. This paper describes a virtual force generation method with which operator can feel the interactive force between virtula robot and artificial environments. A virtual force generation algortihm is applied to generate the contact force at the arbitrary point of virtual robot, and the virtual force is displayed to the human operator via a tendon master arm consisted with 3 motors. Some experiments has beencarried out to verify the effectiveness of the force generation algorithm and usefulness of the developed backdrivable master arm.

  • This study aims to apply 3D virtual fabric parameters - as obtained from previous research experiments - to 3D virtual clothing simulation in comparing its similarity with actual clothing as worn, with a view to verifying the objectivity and validity of the 3D virtual fabric simulation method devised by the drape image analysis method. In addition, the result is intended to be used as the basic data for new 3D virtual clothing simulation methods. As the results, 3D virtual fabric parameters designed to simulate 3D drape to be similar to actual fabrics were found to be Bending Strength, Buckling Point, Density, Particle Distance, and Shear. They were also found to be important measurements when evaluating visual similarity between drape shadow images and number of nodes. 3D virtual fabric simulation method devised by the drape image analysis method was appropriate in extracting 3D fabric parameters with the reflection of actual fabrics' physical and dynamic characteristics, in connection with 3D virtual fabric simulation. 3D virtual fabric parameters with the reflection of actual fabrics' physical and dynamic characteristics using the proposed 3D virtual fabric simulation method are accumulated and provided as a standard, this will facilitate the introduction 3D virtual fabric simulation technology.

가상 탄성력을 이용한 자율이동로봇 경로생성 방법 (A Path Generation Method for a Autonomous Mobile Robot based on a Virtual Elastic Force)

  • 본 논문에서는 그리드 기반의 맵에서 자율이동로봇의 경로생성방법 및 가상 탄성력을 이용한 경로최적화 방법을 다룬다. 경로계획의 목적은 로봇이 주어진 환경에서 효율적으로 목표점을 향해 이동할 수 있도록 정보 생성하는 것이다. 그리드 기반의 경로계획기법으로 AStar 알고리즘이 대표적인 방법이며 본 논문에서는 AStar 알고리즘에 의해 작성된 경로를 가상 탄성력 알고리즘을 이용하여 경로를 최적화하는 알고리즘을 제안하고 있으며 그 결과를 비교한다. 가상 탄성력은 생성된 경로를 더 짧고 부드럽게 생성해주는 장점을 가지고 있으며 그리드 기반의 경로를 최적화 하는데 매우 유리하다.

병렬처리와 가상격자를 이용한 대용량 항공 레이저 스캔 자료의 효율적인 처리 (Efficient Processing of Huge Airborne Laser Scanned Data Utilizing Parallel Computing and Virtual Grid)

  • 본 연구에서는 대용량의 항공 레이저 스캔 자료를 효율적으로 처리하기 병렬처리 기법과 가상격자 구조를 도입하였으며 제안한 방법의 실효성을 평가하기 위하여 IDW(Inverse Distance Weighting) 방식으로 정규격자 DSM을 생성하였다. 즉, 대용량 항공 레이저 스캔 자료의 신속한 보간을 위하여 병렬처리 기법을 이용하고 불규칙적으로 분포된 포인트의 검색 효율성을 제고하기 위하여 가상격자(virtual grid)를 사용하였다. 마스터 노드와 6대의 슬래이브 노드로 구성된 클러스터를 사용하여 처리 시간을 측정한 결과 노드의 수가 증가하더라도 1에 가까운 efficiency를 나타내었으며 load scalability의 특성도 만족시켰다. 또한 용량의 한계로 인하여 단일 시스템에서 처리할 수 없는 크기의 자료를 클러스터 시스템으로 처리할 수 있음을 확인하였다.
