Dispersion Relation including the Effect of Diffusion for E.M. Wave in Solid-State Plasma (고상 프라즈마내에서의 전자파분산측과 확산효과)

  • Up to now, there have been numerous investigations about the effect of diffusion on the wave propagation in gaseous plasmas, but not so much in semiconductor magnetoplasmas. However, currently, it becomes the centor of interest to work with the latter problem, and this paper deals with the dispersion equation including diffusion effect in the latter case to see how diffusion affects the equation in which diffusion term is neglected in the first place, and the analysis is based on the assumption that the plasma can be treated as a hydrodynamical fluid, since, from a macroscopic view point, the plasma interacting with a magnetic field can be considered as a magneto-hydrodynamical fluid, an electrically conducting fluid subjected to electromagnetic force, and the system is linear. The results of the relation and computation show that in the non-streaming case the diffusion terms appear in the equation as perturbation terms and the amplitude of the wave vector changes parabolically with the variation of the angular frequency and the longitudinal modes are observed.

  • The objective of this research is to add convenience to the intranet operating within an educational institution, by setting up a messenger function to enable the faculties and leachers to make better use of the university database via Intranet. With this messenger services, the users can view the information about the members in a group they belong to, and register as friends a group of members they selected from the work group they are in. This function will reduce the cumbersome chores of adding one individual as a friend at a time. This research will enhance the Intranet within an educational institution by integrating new functions.

  • The first Type Certificate project for small airplane is in progress in the Republic of Korea. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare the circumstances that the airplane developed and certificated by this country will exported to foreign countries and operated in the world. One of the main items to be prepared is the systems related with continuing airworthiness of aircraft during the operation. From this point of view, the systems and corresponding capabilities to maintain the aircraft to continue the flight and safe landing will be the immediate work. This study is to review the continuing airworthiness system established by foreign countries such as USA FAA and European EASA and to propose how we will setup our continuing airworthiness system for the airplane developed and certificated by the Republic of Korea.

  • The biggest challenge facing today manufacturing industry is better quality and high productivity. From an economic point of view, productivity is the most important parameter, as high productivity will reduce the cost. However, the customers of day are not only cost concerned, but also quality conscious. So high accuracy levels should also be achieved in the manufacturing process. This paper reports the development of a automatic design system based on AutoCAD program. 1'his work is composed of three section that are design of top down menu, impeller and casing for pump programed by AutoLISP language and runned Windows system. The developed system ultimately generates the design for a pump through AutoCAD program. In the design of the pump, it needs about 23 hours with an expert, but this system can be only 80 seconds without an expert.

Panoramic Image Stitching using SURF

  • This paper proposes a new method to process panoramic image stitching using SURF(Speeded Up Robust Features). Panoramic image stitching is considered a problem of the correspondence matching. In computer vision, it is difficult to find corresponding points in variable environment where a scale, rotation, view point and illumination are changed. However, SURF algorithm have been widely used to solve the problem of the correspondence matching because it is faster than SIFT(Scale Invariant Feature Transform). In this work, we also describe an efficient approach to decreasing computation time through the homography estimation using RANSAC(random sample consensus). RANSAC is a robust estimation procedure that uses a minimal set of randomly sampled correspondences to estimate image transformation parameters. Experimental results show that our method is robust to rotation, zoom, Gaussian noise and illumination change of the input images and computation time is greatly reduced.

  • Hybrid car can improve fuel efficiency using a power of motor that is generated during constant-speed or deceleration driving. The motor is located between engine and transmission. But, when voltage of main battery is low, fuel efficiency is low because the voltage can't run the motor. In this situation, this study observed fuel efficiency when using solar cell for assistance power. In order to verify a fuel consumption of hybrid car equipped solar cell for assistance power, the car was tested downtown driving. As hybrid car was equipped solar cell for assistance, fuel consumption was reduced 8.35 % at running air conditioner. And, at air conditioner doesn't work, fuel consumption was reduced 6.88 %. This point of view, CO2 is expected to reduce in similar proportion.

  • This paper proposes six systematic steps that aimed at eliminating safety problem as far as possible. In the proposed steps, it is emphasized that attention should be paid not only to physical conditions but also to psychosocial conditions, as unsatisfaciory psychosocial work environment in many cases has proved to contribute to safety problems. The most common obstacles to obtaining positive intervention results are also described. These are lack of commitment from the line managers point of view, neglecting to engage technicians and employee concerned, ignoring to take psychosocial conditions into consideration, and ignoring the impact of the proposed changes on the wage system and the organizational system The proposed steps are based upon gradually developed and empirically tested existing method aimed at solving the problems.

  • The calculation of the correct construction value in the construction should be investigated after the quantity is calculated.   • The development of separation technology is an important research subject as is clear from its role in the Japanese government's research and development program for basic technology for the next generation(1981~1990). Japan is poor not only in mineral resources but also in energy resources and if a sudden change occurs in oil producing facility or an accident occurs in a nuclear power plant, then energy policy must undergo changes and economic foundations may collapse. Japan has already experienced this. Although, oil prices are stable at present and Japan can import oil at low cost due to the yen appreciation, Japan needs to promote development work for any new energy crisis that may come in the future. This has been the motive for gas separation membrane development in Japan. The study of gas permeation through polymer membranes, which is the basis for membranes for gas separation, at Japanese universities began many years ago, but interest in membranes for gas separation was aroused mainly by the Government. The development of gas separation membranes in Japan started with membranes for oxygen separation on an industrial scale.

  • There is a problem that some spoken words are not consistent with the written words when Arabic numerals in Korean language are read. Since some rules for reading the Arabic numerals are not clear, the numerals should be read carefully by recognizing the position of the numbers in sentence, the relationship of the numerals with measurement nouns and other writing elements, and context. In view of technical writing, this work is to appreciate some rules for writing Korean numerals in place of Arabic numerals by studying the works regarding numerals, classifiers and measurement nouns.
