The vibration and disturbances from operating the compact disk layer have an effect on the play ability. As the excitation sources of the compact disk player, there are the vibration of the motors and gears, impact by mechanical parts and the external excitations. So, most of the compact disk player have a anti-vibrational system, which is included some rubber or oil dampers. In this study, the vibration characteristics of rubber damper which is used home compact disk player are investigated. The materials and shape of rubber damper are changed, and the transmissibility is measured. As a conclusion, the natural frequency is moved to higher frequency and the transmissibility is reduced by the increasing rubber stiffness. In comparison to butyl rubber damper, the transmissibility of silicon damper was increased by larger restitution elasticity. The hollow damper was effective to reduced the transmissibility.
For the analysis of vibrational energy density and intensity of partitioned complex system structures in medium-to-high frequency ranges, A software based on the Power Flow Analysis(PFA) has been developed for the plate elements. The flexural, longitudinal and shear waves in plates are formulated and the joint element equations for multi-coupled plates are fully developed. Also, the wave transmission approach has been introduced to cover the energy transmission and reflection at the joint plate elements. To confirm the validity of the developed PFA software, the submarine-shaped complex structures are used for the analysis of vibration intensity and energy density.
In this paper, the vibrational motion of a flexible beam clamped on a translating base and carrying a moving mass is investigated. The equations of motion which describe the total dynamics of the beam-mass-cart system are derived and the coupled dynamic equations are solved by unconstrained modal analysis. In modal analysis, the exact normal mode solutions corresponding to the eigenfrequencies for the position of the moving mass and the ratios of the mass of the flexible beam, the moving mass and the base cart are used. Proper transformations of the time solutions between the normal modes for a position and those for the next position of the moving mass are also adopted. Numerical simulations are carried out to obtain the open-loop responses of the system in tracking the pre-designed path of the moving mass.
To predict vibrational energy density and intensity of complex structures in medium-to-high frequency ranges, Power Flow Finite Element Method(PFFEM) programs for the plate, beam and some coupled structural elements are developed at present. The vibration energy density and intensity of foreign vehicle is predicted successfully with FE full model of 60,000 DOF using the developed PFFEM program.
The laser-induced fluorescence excitation spectrum of 7-amino-4-(trifluoromethyl)coumarin in a supersonic jet has been recorded in the 340-352 nm region. The electronic band origin was observed at 28622.8 cm-1. Vibrational assignments for the three fundamental low-frequency modes and eight combination bands have been made for the S1 electronic excited state. The out-of-plane vibrations of this molecule have been characterized from the low-frequency assignments of the spectrum. The periodic potential energy function for the CF3 torsion, which satisfactorily fits the observed data, were also determined to be V(Φ)=95X(1-cos3Φ)-32X(1-cos6Φ) where Φ is the torsional angle. The relatively low torsional barrier of 99 cm-1 in S1 state could be explained by the small steric interactions between the functional groups attached to a bicyclic ring.
This article studies the free and forced vibrations of the carbon nanotubes CNTs embedded in an elastic medium including thermal and dynamic load effects based on nonlocal Euler-Bernoulli beam. A Winkler type elastic foundation is employed to model the interaction of carbon nanotube and the surrounding elastic medium. Influence of all parameters such as nonlocal small-scale effects, high temperature change, Winkler modulus parameter, vibration mode and aspect ratio of short carbon nanotubes on the vibration frequency are analyzed and discussed. The non-local Euler-Bernoulli beam model predicts lower resonance frequencies. The research work reveals the significance of the small-scale coefficient, the vibrational mode number, the elastic medium and the temperature change on the non-dimensional natural frequency.
The vibrational system of this study is consisted of a rotating cantilever pipe and the flow in the pipe. The equation of motion is derived by using Lagrange equation. The influences of the rotating angular velocity and the velocities of fluid flow in the pipe have been studied on the dynamic characteristics of a rotating cantilever pipe by numerical method. The tip-amplitude of axial vibration and maximum tip-deflection of axial direction of cantilever pipe are directly proportional to the velocity of fluid and rotating angular velocity of pipe In the steady state. respectively The bending tip-amplitude of cantilever pipe is inversely proportional to the velocity of fluid in the steady state. When the rotating angular velocity is 5 rad/s, the velocity of fluid increase with increasing the natural frequency of axial vibration at second mode and third mode, but the natural frequency axial direction of first mode is decreased. The natural frequency of lateral direction is decreased due to increase of the rotating angular velocity. It identifies that the Influence of velocity of fluid give much variation lower mode of vibration in lateral direction. And the Influence of velocity of fluid give much variation higher mode of vibration in axial direction.

In this research, a hybrid mathematical model is derived using the higher-order polynomial kinematic model in association with soft computing technique for the prediction of best fiber volume fractions and the minimal mass of the layered composite structure. The optimal values are predicted further by taking the frequency parameter as the constraint and the projected values utilized for the computation of the eigenvalue and deflections. The optimal mass of the total layered composite and the corresponding optimal volume fractions are evaluated using the particle swarm optimization by constraining the arbitrary frequency value as mass/volume minimization functions. The degree of accuracy of the optimal model has been proven through the comparison study with published well-known research data. Further, the predicted values of volume fractions are incurred for the evaluation of the eigenvalue and the deflection data of the composite structure. To obtain the structural responses i.e. vibrational frequency and the central deflections the proposed higher-order polynomial FE model adopted. Finally, a series of numerical experimentations are carried out using the optimal fibre volume fraction for the prediction of the optimal frequencies and deflections including associated structural parameter.
The purpose of this paper is that investigates the dynamic behavior characteristic of W.T.S(Wind turbine System) and carries out the evaluation analysis during operating W.T.S. To investigate the dynamic behavior characteristic of W.T.S, the experiments to measure vibration of the blade from the attached accelerometer on the flap and edge section of the blade that is one of the most important elements of dynamic characteristic of W.T.S are performed. Natural frequency and mode shape are calculated with commercial program (ANSYS) using the measured vibration acceleration that receives the signal with F.F.T Analyzer from the accelerometer. For validation of these experiments, the finite element analysis is performed with commercial F.E.M program (ANSYS) on the basis of the natural frequency and mode shape. The results indicate that experimental values have good agreements with the finite element analysis.
