Semi-Auto Camera Calibration Method for 3D Information Generation (3차원 공간정보 생성을 위한 반자동 카메라 교정 방법)

  • In this paper, we propose the semi-auto camera calibration method including user input. The proposed method estimates the vanishing points using user defined reference lines and defines the constraint for reducing outlier in vanishing points estimation process. The proposed camera calibration method based on both algebraic and geometric method improves a calibration performance for difficult condition, which represents that existing method can't calibrate a image. Experimental results show that the proposed method calibration accuracy higher than existing method.

  • 본 논문에서는 2D-to-3D 변환을 위한 기하구조 기반 깊이 추정에 적합한 소실점 검출 기법을 제안한다. 3D 공간에서 평행한 직선들은 2D 공간으로의 투시영상에서 시점에서 멀어질수록 간격이 좁아지고, 결국에는 한 점으로 수렴하게 된다. 수렴된 점을 소실점(vanishing point)이라 하고, 소실점을 거쳐 지나는 직선들을 소실선(vanishing lines)이라고 한다. 일반적으로, 인간은 소실선과 소실점을 추정한 2D 영상에서 소실점이 관찰자 시점으로부터 제일 먼 지점이라는 인식을 이용하여 깊이 정보를 인지할 수 있다. 전경영역과 배경영역 간의 경계에서는 수직성분을 가진 선들이 생성되어 올바른 소실점을 검출하는데 방해가 될 수 있다. 그렇기 때문에 본 논문에서는 수직성분을 가진 선들을 제거하여 소실점을 탐색하는 기법을 제안한다.

  • In this paper. a way to analysis a corridor scene for a vehicle's automatic locomotion is presented In general, it's necessary for a vision system of vehicles to identify its positions in given environments. The suggested algorithm is to decide base lines of a corridor image using the vanishing point finding. Feature points are extracted on the base line using a base line extraction tree. This algorithm is suitable for a motorized wheelchair's self locomotion in a building.

  • This paper presents a new algorithm for the self-localization of a mobile robot using perspective invariant(Cross Ratio). Most of conventional model-based self-localization methods have some problems that data structure building, map updating and matching processes are very complex. Use of the simple cross ratio can be effective to the above problems. The algorithm is based on two basic assumptions that the ground plane is flat and two parallel walls are available. Also it is assumed that an environmental map is available for matching between the scene and the model. To extract an accurate steering angle for a mobile robot, we take advantage of geometric features such as vanishing points(V.P). Point features for computing cross ratios are extracted robustly using a vanishing point and the intersection points between floor and the vertical lines of door frames. The robustness and feasibility of our algorithms have been demonstrated through experiments in indoor environments using an indoor mobile robot, KASIRI-II(KAist SImple Roving Intelligence).

  • Using a small computer called Raspberry Pie, the webcam is interlocked with the webcam to detect the desired color using hsv and find the representative line using the hough transform in the detected color. Another new line is extracted and the coordinates where the lines meet are called the vanishing point and we want to make a system that autonomously travels through the vanishing point.

  • In this paper, we propose a semi-automatic 3D building reconstruction method using uncalibrated images which includes the facade of target building. First, we extract feature points in all images and find corresponding points between each pair of images. Second, we extract lines on each image and estimate the vanishing points. Extracted lines are grouped with respect to their corresponding vanishing points. The adjacency graph is used to organize the image sequence based on the number of corresponding points between image pairs and camera calibration is performed. The initial solid model can be generated by some user interactions using grouped lines and camera pose information. From initial solid model, a detailed building model is reconstructed by a combination of predefined basic Euler operators on half-edge data structure. Automatically computed geometric information is visualized to help user's interaction during the detail modeling process. The proposed system allow the user to get a 3D building model with less user interaction by augmenting various automatically generated geometric information.

  • For Deleuze, the frame is a closed system with numerous subsets of information. the frame can be defined by mathematics and physics. it is a geometric system of equilibrium and harmony with variables or coordinates. like paintings, Linear perspective represents a three-dimensional depth in a two-dimensional plane through vanishing points, horizontal lines in the frame. Linear perspective makes it possible to assume the infinity towards the vanishing point and the infinity towards the outside of the frame, the opposite of the vanishing point. Not only figures and lines in the drawing paper, but also the space between the figures and lines in the drawing paper was recognized. that is space, the 3rd dimension. with the centripetal force and centrifugal force of the frame, frame follow the physical rules of power and movement. de framing is against the dominant linear perspective and central tendency of the frame. The film contains four-dimensional time while reproducing three-dimensional space in two dimensions. It may be that the outside of the frame, or outside the field of view, contains thought, the fifth dimension.

  • We propose a flexible camera calibration system for mobile platform to calibrate the camera's intrinsic parameters which based on the geometrical property of the vanishing points determined by two perpendicular groups of parallel lines. The system only requires the camera to observe a rectangle card show at a few(at least four)different orientation. The experimental results of the real images show the proposed calibration system in this paper is easy to use and robust.

  • This paper presents a simple modeling system that constructs 3D models from an indoor cylindrical environment map using all of the available geometry of the interior structure such as vertical and horizontal lines and parallel and perpendicular planes. The indoor scene abstract model is created through this system and the navigation through the process of 3D reconstruction. This system first automatically detects the vanishing points in a cylindrical environment map from parallel lines and planes, and determines the indoor scene topology previously defined using this information.   • The prominent line at the singe image is the important fact for understanding spatial structure or estimating aesthetic scoring. According to this thesis, the abstraction of the background line helps analyzing vanishing point, reconstitution of 3 dimensions, and determining of image sloppiness. It also makes easy to calculate the rule of thirds. This thesis is composed of section hough transform mapping, prioritizing of the prominent line, and selection of the prominent line. These technologies are departmentalized to be applied abstraction of traffic lane, analyzing of building structure, abstraction of vanishing point, and abstraction of straight line documentation. This gives the choice that users are able to compose technology by considering characteristic of objects and luminous environment. This thesis also can be applied to abstract circle. The interval hough transform is able to select the number of prominent line which users want to abstract. It can analyze important prominent line numbers at the image and then abstract the lines, too. Results of prominent lines by experiments would be show at this thesis.
