We introduce the concepts of ($\mathcal{T}^{{\mu}{\gamma}}$, $\mathcal{U}^{{\mu}{\gamma}}$)-double (r, s) (u, v)-semiclosures and ($\mathcal{T}^{{\mu}{\gamma}}$, $\mathcal{U}^{{\mu}{\gamma}}$)-double (r, s)(u, v)-semiinteriors. Using the notions, we investigate some of characteristic properties of double pairwise (r, s)(u, v)-semicontinuous, double pairwise (r, s)(u, v)-semiopen and double pairwise (r, s)(u, v)-semiclosed mappings.

In this paper, the characteristics of breakdown voltage($\textrm{V}_{Brms}$) -temperature(T) for air insulated power installation in flowing air with variation of T(30[$^{\circ}C$] -180[$^{\circ}C$]) are presented. To study these subjects, needle-to-needle gap in the circular pipe(inner diameter 5[cm]) are used. Also, theories of gas discharge and hydrodynamics in pipe were used to analysis for the characteristics. The $\textrm{V}_{Brms}$ is proportional to flow velocity. At high velocity, $\textrm{V}_{Brms}$ is described the saturation. At high T(180[$^{\circ}C$]), $\textrm{V}_{Brms}$ is about 4.7(kV] lower than low T(30[$^{\circ}C$]). The empirical equation obtained from this study is $\textrm{V}_{Brms}=A\times{Log[Re}+B$. Where A, B : Constant.

Trotter-Kato type approximations of the convoluted solution operator families for the Volterra integral equations (V $E_n$): v(t)=$A_{n} \int_0^t v(t-s) d\mu_n(s) + f_n(t), t \geq 0$ and the convergence of the solutions to the equations (V $E_n$) are studied.

The total vibrational deexcitation rate constants $k_{v,v-1}$ of HF(v = 5-7) by HF(${\mu}$ = 0) and DF(${\mu}$ = 9-12) by DF(${\mu}$= 0) including both the vibration to vibration (V ${\to}$ V) and vibration to rotation and translation (V ${\to}$ R, T) energy transfer channels have been calculated semiclas-sically using a simplified collision model. The calculated results are in reasonably good agreement with those obtained by experimental and other theoretical studies. The rate constants increase with increasing temperature and also with increasing v. They also show that the relaxation of the highly excited HF and DF occurs predominantly via the V ${\to}$ R, T path at low temperature. The effectiveness of the V ${\to}$ V path, however, increases as the temperature is raised.

After determining the type and string condition of conductor of 765kV transmission lines, we studied the mechanical strength system of insulator strings to support conductors and insulate conductors from towers. In this paper, for the insulator strings which will be used in 765kV transmission lines, we're going to optimally determine the mechanical strength system and supporting method in the consideration of the reliability, economics and the survey data of T/L routes, and also suggest the calculation method to stipulate for the application limits of suspension and strain insulator strings according to the loadspan and height difference of tower.

Under appropriate hypotheses, the authors establish local theory of the solutions by a regularization method and prove that the solution either exists globally or blows up in finite time by using a comparison principle.

In this paper, for a given p-adic quasicharacter $c_{v}$ : $k_{v}$longrightarrow $Q_{p}$ satisfying a special condition, we will explicitly construct an admissible pairing corresponding to $c_{v}$. We define a p-adic height on the arbitrary abelian varieties associated to divisors and $c_{v}$ by using admissible pairings at every nonarchimedean places. We also show that our p-adic height satisfies similar properties of Neron-Tate's canonical p-adic height.t.ght.t.t.

Some part of the route in KEPCO 765kV transmission line being constructed passes through a high mountain area which is 800m above the sea level (Taebaek, Sabuk area in Gangwon province). This area is the top part of Taebaek mountains corresponding to the backbone of korean peninsula and has lots of snow during the winter season because the winter seasonal wind gone up along the mountainside of Taebaek Mts. meets open air of the East sea. KEPCO has experienced 63 faults of T/L between 1968 and 1993 in this area, which is a very serious problem. Especially 154kV Hwang-Ji T/L fault in 1990, 2 was a unprecedented case which needs to be analyzed carefully to take proper measures. After reviewing ice and snow loading conditions and analyzing the fault of Hwang-Ji T/L, we're going to determine the revisement of ice and snow loading condition in this area to increase reliability of 765kV transmission line.

The Photoluminescence (PL) measurement results of a very good quality GaN sample grown by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) are reported. The temperature dependences of peak position, emission intensity, and the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of free-exciton (FX) A and B are presented. Our results show the fast thermal quenching of FX transition intensities and predominantly acoustic phonon scattering of emission line broadening. The transition-energy-shift following the Varshni's empirical equation, and by using it to fit the data, E$\_$A1/(T) = 3.4861 eV -6.046 $\times$ 10$\^$-4/T$^2$ (620.3+ T) eV, E$\_$B1/(T) = 3.4928 eV -4.777 $\times$ 10$\^$-4/T$^2$ / (408.2+ T) eV and E$\_$A2/ = 3.4991 eV -4.426 $\times$ 10$\^$-4/ T$^2$ / (430.6+ T) eV for A(n=1), B(n=1), and A(n=2) are obtained respectively.

Endonuclease-sensitive sites detected by T4 endonuclease V or UvrABC nuclease treatments were compared in the dihydrofolate reductase gene of UV-irradiated Chinese hamster ovary B-11 cells. The number of endonuclease-sensitive sites detected by T4 endonuclease V treatment followed by NaOH denaturation was twice that of formamide denaturation. Repeated treatment of damaged genomic DNA with T4 endonuclease V resulted in no further increase in the number of endonuclease-sensitive sites detected. The numbers of endonuclease-sensitive sites detected by UvrABC nuclease using each denaturation condition were similar. Sequential treatment with the two endonucleases using formamide denaturation resulted in twice the number of endonuclease-sensitive sites detected by treatment of each nuclease alone. Due to a lack of AP endonuclease activity these results suggest the presence of T4 endonuclease V-sensitive sites which could be complemented by alkaline gel separation or by UvrABC nuclease treatment.
