The paper discusses the problem of how to allocate the fund to a large number of individuals in a higher school so as to bring a higher utility return based on the theory of uncertain set. Suppose that experts can assign each invested individual a corresponding nondecreasing membership function on a close interval I according to its actual level and developmental foreground. The membership degree at the fund $x{\in}I$ is called utility degree from fund x, and product (minimum) of utility degrees of distributed funds for all invested individuals is called united utility degree from the fund. Based on the above concepts, we present an uncertain optimization model, called Maximal United Utility Degree (or Maximal Membership Degree) model for fund distribution. Furthermore, we use nondecreasing polygonal functions defined on close intervals to structure a mathematical maximal united utility degree model. Finally, we design a genetic algorithm to solve these models.

I study optimal consumption and investment choices of an infinitely-lived economic agent with a general time-separable von Neumann-Morgenstern utility under general borrowing constraints against future labor income. An explicit solution is provided by the dynamic programming method. It is shown that the optimal consumption and risky investment decrease as the borrowing constraints become stronger.

In this study, we develope a revised model as well as application of decision problem under ambiguity based on the subjectively weighted linear utility medel. Bayes'rule is used when there are ambiguous probabilities on a decision problem and test information is available. A procedure for assessing the ambiguity aversion function is also presented. Decision problem of chemical corporation is used for an illustration of the application of the subjectively weighted linear utility model using Bayesian approach. We present the optimal decisiond using newly developed model. We also perform the sensitivity analysis to assure ourselves about the conclusion we obtianed on degree of ambiguity aversion due to characterize parameter of subjectively weighted linear utility model.

The purpose of this study was to establish a model of the use-utility of cooking equipments and kitchen centers using survey data and to compare U.S.A. with Korea. The survey was conducted to identify attributes that were related to the efficiency of kitchen centers as well as equipments. Indices for the most important attributes were developed and used to compare different selections of equipment. The impact of adding an equipment item was found to vary with the attributes of the item, the degree of importance ascribed to the attributes of the work center and specific functions performed there. Similarities and differences between the U.S.A. and Korea are discussed, and implications for those who have interest in the use-utility model of cooking equipment and kitchen centers are provided.

This paper proposes a method for quantifying the types of quality elements proposed by Kano; namely: attractive quality, one-dimensional quality, and must-be quality. Kano's classification of required quality has helped us improve our thinking in product development. However, his classification is conceptual rather than quantitative, and the conventional techniques of questionnaire and group interview cannot provide quantification of the relationship between the degree of customer satisfaction and the degree of sufficiency of required qualities. This paper describes how a quality element under Kano's quality model can be expressed as a utility function, and describes an application to quality design of a cellular phone.

매설관은 기존 포장의 제거와 굴착후 다짐 및 재포장에 의해 시공되며 주변지반의 침하와 균열, 재포장부의 침하발생과 평탄성 저하를 초래한다. 본 연구에서는 매설관의 설치와 뒷채움재의 다짐 및 재포장 등 일련의 시공과정에서 간과되고 있는 포장하부구조의 물성치 획득방법으로서 공내재하시험 및 동평판재하시험을 채택하였다. 공내재하시험 비교 결과, 관매설 및 새로운 뒷채움재의 다짐으로 인해 충분한 하부지반 강성이 굴착전에 비하여 획득되지 못함을 확인하였다. 재포장층의 두께는 기존층에 비하여 더 두껍게 설계되어야 함을 의미한다. 동평판시험은 공내재하시험에 비하여 층표면 강성을 파악하기에는 효과적이지만 매설관의 하부구성층 또는 뒷채움재 등의 전체 강성 또는 다짐도를 정확히 파악할 수 없음을 확인하였다.

This study was conducted to determine the difference between satellite cells (porcine) and myoblasts (C2C12) in their differentiation under the influence of 2, 4-thiazolidindion. C2C12 myoblast cells and porcine satellite cells (isolated from 10 d old $Landrace{\times}Duroc$ piglets) were grown to absolute confluency. Post confluent cells (day 0) were further exposed to adipogenic induction medium along with 2, 4-thiazolidindion ($8{\mu}M$) for 2 d. Thereafter, cells were exposed to 2, 4-thiazolidindion alone every 2 d till day 10 and analysed. The control was cultured in differentiation medium without any treatment. Increased (p<0.05) expression of transcriptional factors i.e. C/EBP-${\alpha}$ and PPAR-${\gamma}$ and transition of cells to adipocyte morphology was noticed from 2 d and 4 d onwards in satellite cells (Porcine) and myoblasts (C2C12) respectively. Myogenesis was observed to be suppressed completely in case of satellite cells compared to myoblasts in response to 2, 4-thiazolidindion. Pax-7 (transcriptional factor) appeared as a sole entity to satellite cells only, as it was not identified in case of myoblasts. Although both the cells were converting to adipoblasts, the degree of their conversion was different in response to 2, 4-thiazolidindion. Therefore, the hypothesis that satellite cells contribute various domains to the growing myoblasts appeared obscured and found to be dependent on the proliferative energy/or degree of fusion. However, it revealed satellite cells as currency to myoblasts/muscle.

The purpose of this study is to revise the HDD(Heating Degree-Days) of main cities of Korea because the outside temperature rise have been accelerated by global warming recently. Now our HDD(Heating Degree-Days) for the utility design of district heating system had been `established in 20 years ago. Therefore new heating degree days for main cities of korea had been required and determined using long-term measured outside weather temperature data during 30 years. For the analysis of HDD, five different base temperatures ranging from 24 to $16^{\circ}C$ were chosen in the calculation of heating degree days. And new yearly heating degree days of 15 cities of korea were given in the tabular form.

The stochastic dominance approach is to form a portfolio that stochastically dominates a predetermined benchmark portfolio such as KOSPI. This study is to search a set of portfolio weights for the first-order stochastic dominance with maximum utility defined in terms of mean and variance by managing the constraint set and the objective function in an iterative manner. A nonlinear programming algorithm was developed and tested with promising results against Korean stock market data sets.

본 연구는 회계정보시스템이 업무성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하기 위하여 크론바흐 알파, 요인분석, 분산분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ASS 유용성과 업무성과간의 회귀분석에 대한 통계적 유의성은 매우 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 분산분석에서 시스템 운용성과와 시스템 만족도는 유의한 수준에 도달하지 못하고 있었다. 셋째, 정보정확도와 정보시스템 만족도에 대한 투입변수는 IT능력변수에 대해 상승효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.
