주거 내 PC사용공간의 사용실태 및 사용자의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on PC using State and Demand of User's at Home)

  • The objective of this study is to provide new direction on house design in consideration of the user's life pattern. To this end, pc usage status at home, demand for pc using space, and requirements for pc room interior were analyzed. A survey was taken by parents and the SPSS win.10 was applied for analysis. The survey was conducted for 2 months, starting May 2004 to see the computer usage at home, demand and satisfaction for the computer's room. The results of this study were as follows; The oldest son or daughter in a family was the main user of the computer, posting 71%. 42percent of respondents said they used the pc in their son's and daughter's room while 36% answered living room. It reflects that the whole family want to use the pc in their sharing room, or for their children's convenience. Currently, inconvenience of space-related constraints for using the pc was not that high, which possibly stems from a lack of awareness of inconvenience in using the pc. However, the need for furniture and space for refreshment was suggested. Through this study, it is expected that new housing designs need to be made to reflect these requirements into interior design and building plan for user's convenience.

  • The recent technological developments of smart devices, multiple services are provided to enhance the users' quality of life including smart city, smart energy, smart car, smart healthcare, smart home, and so on. Academia and industries try to provide the users with convenient services upon seamless technological research and developments. Also, whenever and wherever a variety of services can be used without any limitation on the place and time upon connecting with different types of devices. However, security weaknesses due to integrations of multiple technological elements have been detected resulting in the leakage of user information, account hacking, and privacy leakage, threats to people's lives by device operation have been raised. In this paper, safer communication framework is suggested by device control and user authentication in the mobile network environment. After implementations of registration and authentication processes by users and devices, safe communication protocol is designed based on this. Also, renewal process is designed according to the safe control of the device. In the performance evaluation, safety was analyzed on the attack of protocol change weakness occurred in the existing system, service halt, data leakage, illegal operation control of message, and so on, which confirmed the enhanced speed approximately by 8% and 23% in the communication and verification parts, respectively, compared to the existing system.

  • 최근 들어 인간의 수명 연장과 출산율 저하로 노인인구가 기하급수적으로 증가하여 고령사회로의 진입에 대비하여 여러 가지 정책적 대안 등을 제시하고 있는 현실이다. 이러한 해결방안의 하나로 노인들의 적극적인 사회참여와 생산 활동을 유도하고 풍요로운 삶을 영유하도록 할 수 있는 것이 유비쿼터스 환경을 구축하는 것이라 할 수 있다. 최근 IT기술의 발달에 따라 인간의 모든 생활에 지능형 컴퓨터를 접목하여 생활을 더욱더 편리하고 생산적인 환경을 구축하려 노력하고 있다. 이제는 단순하게 노인이 컴퓨터에 접속하게 하는 것이 아니라 노인 사용자들이 효율적이며 생산적으로 사용하도록 개선하는 노력이 따라야 한다. 대안으로 떠오르는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 효율적 인터페이스를 위한 유저인터페이스 디자인 기준을 제안하여 노인의 불편을 조금이나마 개선하고 삶의 질을 향상시키는데 일조하고자한다. 유비쿼터스 환경이 노인의 생활환경을 개선함은 물론 객체적 생활인으로서 삶을 영위해 나갈 수 있다는 점을 전제로 본 연구를 진행하였다. 따라서 노인의 특성을 분석하여 노인을 위한 효율적 인터페이스 디자인방법을 제안함으로서 새로운 유비쿼터스 시대에 노인의 경계를 허물고 사회적 활력을 이루는 계기가 되었으면 한다.

외국인 근로자의 취업생활 만족도 제고를 통한 기업 내 정착지원방안 (Establishing Employee Support Program for Foreign Laborers at Company Level by Improving Working Life Condition)

  • The purpose of this study is to draw employee support program at the company level through field survey of foreign laborers' satisfaction level of working life. To analyze the factors that determine working life satisfaction, regression analysis was conducted. Satisfaction level of working hours(t=2.469), living environment(t=2.140), post offices/banks (t=3.024) showed a statistically significant. Also these variables, working hours, living environment, post office/banks are verified to be very important for improving the level of their working life. Through these findings we can understand that employee support activities, providing user-guide of bank and post office, compliance with standards for working hours, improvement of the living conditions (accommodation, meals, etc.), the leisure time program support, the children care support and active utilization of foreign workers and strengthen the educational program, are necessary to improve the satisfaction level of foreign laborers' working life in Korea. It is recommended that managers need to recognize that careful consideration of living and working condition could contribute to stable settlement and increase working life satisfaction for the foreign workers at company level.

인터넷 게임중독이 불안을 매개로 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 중국 하얼빈 지역 남자 대학생을 중심으로 (The Mediating Effect of Anxiety on the Relationship between Internet Game Addiction and Life Satisfaction: Focusing on Male University Students in Harbin, China)

  • The purpose of this study is to review Chinese policy on internet game addiction, and understand the level of internet game addiction, anxiety, and life satisfaction levels, and examine how game addiction affects life satisfaction with anxiety as a medium among male university students in China. In order to achieve the goals of the study, a survey was conducted on 240 male university students in Harbin, China. The research results are as follows. First, the internet game addiction level of male university students was at a relatively low level. Only 2.9% scored over 36 points, the litmus test for the category of clinical criterion, whereas the majority belonged to the general user group. Meanwhile, anxiety was at an intermediate level, along with a relatively high level of life satisfaction. Next, internet game addiction showed a positive correlation with anxiety, and a negative correlation with life satisfaction level. A negative correlation was found between anxiety and life satisfaction level. Lastly, anxiety was found to play a complete mediation role, as a mediator variable between internet game addiction and life satisfaction level. Based on the above results, policy and practical suggestions are proposed to improve the mental health of university students and to prevent and treat game addiction within China.

  • Recently Life Cycle Cost Analysis for civil infrastructures such as pavements, bridges, and dams has been emphasized However, so far, there are few systems available for life cycle cost analysis of bridges at design stage. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to develop a user-friendly life-cycle cost analysis system for LCC-effective optimal design decision making at design stage. The program is based on the proposed LCC model, formulation, analysis modules and systematic procedure that suit Korean construction conditions. It is expected that the developed system can be effectively utilized for more LCC-effective design of bridges. It is applied to an actual bridge design project in order to demonstrate its effectiveness and applicability.

  • 세컨드라이프는 온라인 멀티유저 가상공간으로, 3차원 가상공간에서 사용자는 목소리와 텍스트를 통해 사용자간의 대화를 하며, 다양한 사회 활동을 하고, 새로운 형식의 가상물건을 만들 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 평면 회화, 퍼포먼스, 설치 예술, 미디어아트 등 다양한 형태의 작품을 가상미술전시를 구축하는 과정을 설명한다. 이를 통해 세 컨드라이프에서 컨템포러리아트 전시를 만들 때의 기술적인 한계와 가상화된 작품과 인간과의 인식관계에 대해 논의한다.

  • This study is intended to propose a systematic and practical life cycle cost(LCC) model for the development of the reliability-based seismic safety and cost-effective performance criteria for design and upgrading of long-span PC bridges. The LCC models consist of five cost functions such as initial cost, repair/replacement cost, human losses, road user cost, and indirect losses of regional economy. The proposed model Is successfully expressed in temrs of Park-Ang damage indices and life cycle damage probability obtained from SMART-DRAIN-2DX which is an existing algorithm for nonlinear time history analysis. The proposed LCC model is successfully applied to a viaduct constructed by PSM, in Seoul. Based on the observations, the proposed systematic procedure for the formulation of LCC model may be useful for the development of the reliability-based seismic safety and cost-effective performance criteria for design and upgrading of long-span PC bridges.

  • The computer program for the accelerated life testing technique of a machine part under the service conditions is developed under the GUI environment so that the user can easily obtain the results by selecting the program module. Also, the theoretical backgrounds for the computer program and the procedures of the accelerated testing method are introduced by testing the specimens made of the stainless steel 316L under the high temperature and random loading. The reliability of the program is discussed by the experimental results of the fatigue life, age degradation and accelerated testing conditions.

  • The management of railroad structures is more difficult and complicate because there are many structures such as rail, bridge, tunnel, station, and so on. Therefore, LCC(Life Cycle Cost) analysis of railroad structures as public infrastructure must contain a maintenance cost as well as an initial cost in order to make a more effective management during the life cycle on the design phase. This paper presents a cost classification scheme considering user costs such as value of delayed time of passenger and freight. Also, in this study it is developed a probabilistic life cycle cost(PLCC) analysis model of railroad structures taking into account uncertainties and variations of input variables in order to analyze LCC. It may be stated that the model proposed in this study can greatly contribute to the making optimal decision, the estimate of the maintenance cost and the allocate of budget in the project of railroad structures.
