Since cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, and there is an urgent need to find better treatment. In recent years remarkable progress has been made towards the understanding of proposed hallmarks of cancer development and treatment. Treatment modalities comprise radiation therapy, surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and hormonal therapy. Currently, the use of chemotherapeutics remains the predominant option for clinical control. However, one of the major problems with successful cancer therapy using chemotherapeutics is that patients often do not respond or eventually develop resistance after initial treatment. This has led to the increased use of anticancer drugs developed from natural resources. The biodiversity of venoms and toxins makes them a unique source from which novel therapeutics may be developed. In this review, the anticancer potential of snake venom is discussed. Some of the included molecules are under clinical trial and may find application for anticancer drug development in the near future.

As apartment buildings defect lawsuits become socioeconomic problems, an objective basis system for the term of warranty liability of reinforced concrete constructions is urgent. This study was carried out as a basic study for developing a basis system for the term of warranty liability. To do this, defect data actual collected in apartment complexes were collected and analyzed. As the result of checking the cumulative rate of defect occurrence in reinforced concrete construction by year, the point of time of reaching the 90% level was the 5th years, which was similar with the provision of the Apartment Building Management Act. However, the current Supreme Court precedent has decided that the term of warranty liability for the main structural parts in reinforced concrete construction shall be 10 years and the dispute is expected to continue in the future in the defect lawsuit.

Recently, huge datasets have been generating rapidly in a variety of fields. Then, there is an urgent need for technologies that will allow efficient and effective processing of huge datasets. Therefore the problems of partitioning a huge dataset effectively and alleviating the processing overhead of the partitioned data efficiently have been a critical factor for scalability and performance in distributed database system. In our work we utilized multicore servers to provide scalable service to our distributed system. The partitioning of database over multicore servers have emerged from a need for new architectural design of distributed database system from scalability and performance concerns in today's data deluge. The system allows uniform access through a web service interface to concurrently distributed databases over multicore servers, using SQMD (Single Query Multiple Database) mechanism based on publish/subscribe paradigm. We will present performance results with the distributed database system built on multicore server, which is time intensive with traditional architectures. We will also discuss future works.

The purpose of this paper is to find an policy vision and action plans for the growth of the Korean cultural contents industry as a new growth power in the 21th century. For this purpose, I referred to sundry records to analyze the characteristics, industrial situation and the prospects of the cultural contents industry. I also made an analysis on the outcome of the cultural contents policy with the help of the official concerned in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, which made it possible for me to draw a few urgent problems of Korean cultural contents industry. With these preceding analyses, I proposed the strategy and action plans of the government policy for the Korean cultural contents industry as follows : strengthening the creative power of the cultural contents industry, systemizing the healthy circulation of the cultural contents, and improvement of the cultural welfare on the basis of contents.

Recent government policies are increasing interest in zero-energy housing, a building that minimizes energy consumption (90% reduction). As the importance of building passive performance is emphasized, the role of insulation is increasing as a way to reduce indoor heat loss in order to minimize the use of cooling and heating energy. There are two main types of insulation. Organic insulation is widely used for various construction structures such as construction and industrial due to some merits such as the convenience of construction and construction cost. However, it has been pointed out as a main cause every time a fire accident occurs, Jecheon Sports Center', the fire damage of buildings caused by the use of organic insulation materials is expanding to social problems, so it is urgent to research on nonflammable inorganic insulation materials.

The human baby appears to be born with preexistent knowledge of language. This specialized neural structure in the brain awaits auditory experience with language to trigger it into functioning. The auditory-linked acquisition of language is a time-locked function related to early maturational periods in the infant's life. The longer auditory language stimulation is delayed, the less efficient the language facility will be. It is for these reasons that it is urgent to fight the hearing problems of children with all the skill, knowledge and insights of which we are capable, the so called 'rehabilitative process'. An understanding of the timetable and the origin of prenatal to early life development of auditory mechanism will help in planning the aural rehabilitation. Further interests and studies are needed to establish the systematic structure of rehabilitative audiology.

It is urgent to introduce home visiting physical therapy in order to prevent the unnecessary increase of demand and extravagance for the nation-wide execution of medical insurance and for the medical demand and supply of medical delivery system. We think that it is very important for us, as a physical therapist preparing 21 centry, to clearly undersand the necessity of home visiting physical therapy, which will be needed as the new therapeutic field in the future. When the terms for a new health and medical system, that is, useful trained-manpower, well-equipped facilities, financial and legal support, well-prepared design for this project, positive cooperation between people involved in this project and rational development of the project is held and this project is settled by sieving tile expected problems, this project will give a contribution to the promotion of national health and social welfare

According to the research of the cultivation result on the spot farmers for 5 years in order to investigate its cultivation conditions and problems of Lycium chinense Mill, the development of the variety with early mature, pest tolerance, and high yielding is urgent and it is call for the development of rooted cutting cultivation by testing of bed soil, growth regulator and cutting times. The development of cultivation method with planting year, planting density, supplementary period and amounts of supplementary of Lycium chinense Mill planted in growing field are required and for the disease and the effective control of disease and insect pest resistance is needed by auxotrophic fertilizing and organic agricultural method, met by agricultural chemicals.

With the draining of land resources, and rising new economic and resources expansionism, finding a new and yet to be developed ${\ulcorner}treasure{\lrcorner}$ is often a fierce and competitive challenge among many nations. This is especially true for Korea confronted with its urgent needs to find new resources and strategy to maintain the current pace of societal demand and economic development in this often impatient and rapidly progressing world. The ocean world in the South Pacific provides potentials to quench both orders with promises of new ${\ulcorner}treasure{\lrcorner}$ of living and ecosystem resources such as new fisheries and new bioactive products as well as providing alternative aesthetic, recreational resources and critical informations on various societal problems such as extreme weather conditions and early wining of the consequences resulting from global environmental changes.

Air pollution problem has been one of the most urgent global environmental problems since UN Framework Convention on Climate Change accepted in Rio Conference, 1992. International environmental regulations of global community to reduce the green house gases have Influenced the domestic environmental policies. Recently, various policy have been made to cope with foreign environment restrction and active supports for development of related technology have been carried out in our government confrontation strategy still leaves much to be desired. In this paper, government confrontation program to climate agreement, counter strategies in motor and also electrics, electronics industries are investigated and discussed.
