맥동압력조건에서 재생기를 통한 왕복유동의 압력강하 특성에 대한 연구 (Investigation on the pressure drop characteristics of oscillating flow through regenerator under pulsating pressure conditions)

  • This paper proposes a new model of the pressure drop for more accurate description of oscillating flow through regenerator under pulsating pressure conditions in contrast to an existing model based on steady flow. For the universal uses of the oscillating flow model, non-dimensional parameters, which consist of Reynolds number, Valensi number gas domain length ratio, oscillating flow friction factor and phase angle of pressure drop, are derived from the capillary tube model of the regenerator. Two correlation equations of the model are obtained from the experiments for the twill square screen regenerators under various operating frequencies and inlet mass flow rates. The oscillating friction factor is a function of only the Reynolds number and the phase angle of pressure drop is a function of the Valensi number and the gas domain length ratio. Experiment is also performed to examine the effects of the shape of screens.

나선형 탄력밴드를 착용한 몸통 안정화 자세가 뇌졸중 환자의 팔 기능에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Trunk Stabilization Posture Wearing Spiral Elastic Band on Upper Extremity Function in Stroke Patients)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to investigate the effect of trunk postural stability maintained wearing a spiral elastic band on the upper extremity function of patients with stroke who undertook a functional activity program and to provide fundamental data useful for the application of therapeutic interventions in the clinical environment of occupational therapy. Methods : The research subjects included 16 patients with stroke who were evenly divided into an experimental group and a control group. The eight-week intervention consisted of a functional activity program aimed at improving the function of the affected-side upper extremity. The experimental group performed the functional activity program while maintaining a stable trunk posture by wearing a spiral elastic band. The control group followed the program without wearing the band. Upper extremity function was assessed before and after the intervention using a manual function test (MFT) and a motor activity log (MAL), and the effectiveness on the upper extremity function of the affected side was confirmed. Results : First, in the within-group comparison of the upper extremity function scores before and after the intervention, the experimental group showed a statistically significant difference in the MFT and MAL assessment(p<.05). The control group showed a statistically significant difference in the MAL assessment(p<.05). Second, in the between-group comparison of the change in scores after the intervention, a statistically significant difference was observed between the two groups in all assessments(p<.05). Conclusion : This study confirmed the positive effect on upper extremity function of trunk stabilization posture using a spiral elastic band. The results could be useful when implementing a task-oriented training program in the clinical environment of occupational therapy in the future, as application of the training while maintaining trunk postural stability by wearing a spiral elastic band could be more effective for improving the upper extremity function of patients with stroke.

충격공진실험과 만능재료시험기에 의한 아스팔트 공시체의 동탄성계수 예측 모델 개발 (Development of the Predicted Model for the HMA Dynamic Modulus by using the Impact Resonance Testing and Universal Testing Machine)

  • PURPOSES : The dynamic modulus can be determined by applying the various theories from the Impact Resonance Testing(IRT) Method. The objective of this paper is to determine the best theory to produce the dynamic modulus that has the lowest error as the dynamic modulus data obtained from these theories(Complex Wave equation Resonance Method related to either the transmissibility loss or not, Dynamic Stiffness Resonance Method) compared to the results for dynamic modulus determined by using the Universal Testing Machine. The ultimate object is to develop the predictive model for the dynamic modulus of a Linear Visco-Elastic specimen by using the Complex Wave equation Resonance Method(CWRM) came up for an existing study(S. O. Oyadiji; 1985) and the Optimization. METHODS : At the destructive test which uses the Universal Testing Machine, the dynamic modulus results along with the frequency can be used for determining the sigmoidal master curve function related to the reduced frequency by applying Time-Temperature Superposition Principle. RESULTS : The constant to be solved from Eq. (11) is a value of 14.13. The reduced dynamic modulus obtained from the IRT considering the loss factor related to the impact transmissibility has RMSE of 367.7MPa, MPE of 3.7%. When the predictive dynamic modulus model was applied to determine the master curve, the predictive model has RMSE of 583.5MPa, MPE of 3.5% compared to the destructive test results for the dynamic modulus. CONCLUSIONS : Because we considered that the results obtained from the destructive test had the most highest source credibility in this study, the dynamic modulus data obtained respectively from DSRM, CWRM were compared to the results obtained from the destructive test by using th IRT. At the result, the reduced dynamic modulus derived from DSRM has the most lowest error.

작업치료사의 임상 경력에 따른 작업치료직무 중요도에 관한 조사 (A Survey on the Job Importance of Occupational Therapists According to Length of Clinical Career)

  • Purpose : This study examined the differences in occupational therapists' jobs depending on their past clinical careers using a survey of the importance of occupational therapy tasks in South Korea. This survey sought to provide fundamental data for strengthening occupational therapists' capacities and developing clinical training programs for therapists' future careers. Methods : An online survey was used to collect data from 93 South Korean occupational therapists. The subjects were divided into three groups for the analysis of the importance of occupational therapy tasks, depending on the length of their clinical careers: less than 3 years, from 4 to 6 years, and over 7 years. Results : A within-groups comparison of task importance found that "occupational therapy evaluation" was most important in all three groups. In between-groups comparisons, "patient information check", "assessment planning and establishment", "sensory function assessment", "social skills assessment", "developmental function improvement", "basic daily activities training", "social skills improvement", and "patient education" demonstrated statistically significant differences (p<.05). Each group showed different priorities. In the less-than-3-years group, "understanding of patient's needs" was most important, followed by "arm function improvement", "arm function assessment", "nerve, musculoskeletal, and motor-related functional improvement", and "basic daily activities training". In the 4-to-6-years group, "arm function assessment" was most important, followed by "basic daily activities assessment", "patient's needs", "arm function improvement", and "patient information check". In the over-7-years group, "understanding of patient's needs" was most important, followed by "patient information check", "basic daily activities assessment", "basic daily activities training", and "sensory function assessment". Conclusion : This study found that what occupational therapists consider important in their jobs varies according to their past clinical career and that occupational therapists with more than 7 years' experience are more aware of the importance of diverse fields of occupational therapy. Differentiated education that considers length of career and a range of training programs for more experienced occupational therapists will be needed in the future.

T-DNA 삽입에 의한 Formaldehyde-Responsive Protein1 기능파괴 돌연변이체의 특성연구 (Characterization of T-DNA Insertional Mutant of Formaldehyde-Responsive Protein1)

  • Formaldehyde responsive protein1(FRP1)은 175개의 아미노산으로 이루어진 universal stress protein(USP) family이며 대표적인 대기오염물질인 포름알데히드에 반응하는 단백질로 보고된 바 있다. 하지만 FRP1의 기능에 관해서는 전혀 밝혀진 바가 없다. 본 연구에서는 FRP1의 대기오염관련 기능연구를 위하여 FRP1 유전자에 T-DNA가 삽입된 돌연변이체를 분리하여 휘발성 유기화합물에 대한 반응성 및 세포활성변화 등을 분석하였다. 총 4개의 T-DNA 삽입 돌연변이 개체를 분석한 결과 3'UTR에 pROK2 vector가 삽입된 frp1-4 라인을 분리하였으며, frp1-4에서의 FRP1 유전자의 발현을 전사수준에서 분석한 결과 분리한 frp1-4은 FRP1 기능파괴 돌연변이체임을 알 수 있었다. FRP1의 전사가 억제됨에 따라 frp1-4($29.1{\pm}2.55$ cm)은 대조구($33.75{\pm}1.55$ cm)에 비해 키가 약간 작고 rosette leaves의 크기가 줄어드는 등 전체적으로 생장과 발달이 저해되는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 대조구와 frp1-4의 휘발성 유기화합물에 대한 반응성 및 세포활성 변화를 분석한 결과, 대조구는 포름알데히드 처리에 의한 엽록소 함량 저하가 7.5% 임에 반해 frp1-4은 35%에 이르러 포름알데히드에 의한 엽록소의 파괴현상이 FRP1의 기능파괴체에서 더 심각하게 발생하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 대조구에 비해 frp1-4에서 포름알데히드 처리에 의한 세포활성의 감소가 대조구에 비해 더 현저하게 나타나는 것을 세포수준에서 관찰할 수 있었다. 그러므로 FRP1은 식물의 발달과 생장에 영향을 끼칠 뿐만 아니라 대기오염물질에 대한 스트레스 저항성에도 관여하는 단백질임을 알 수 있었다.

주문형 소프트웨어의 운영단계 신뢰도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Operational Stage Reliability of Dedicated Software)

  • 소프트웨어를 개발하여 출시하기 전에 품질을 향상시키는 중요한 방법으로서 신뢰도를 향상시켜야 하며, 이의 직접적인 방법으로서는 테스트를 통하여 결함을 검출하고 수정해가는 것이다. 신뢰도가 목표치에 도달하면 이를 출시(release)하게 되며, 그 후로는 운영중의 신뢰도 문제가 발생하게 된다. 개발 출시된 소프트웨어가 패키지 소프트웨어라 불리는 범용 소프트웨어냐, 아니면 특수목적을 가진 전용 소프트웨어냐에 따라 운영 소프트웨어의 신뢰도 추이가 달라진다. 또한, 개발 테스트 단계의 테스트 노력이 일정하냐, 아니면 웨이불 곡선을 따르냐에 따라서도 신뢰 도 평가가 다르다. 본 논문에서는 주문형 소프트웨어에 대해서 일정 테스트 노력을 적용하는 경우와 웨이불 테스트 노력을 적용하는 경우의 운영단계 신뢰도 추이에 대해서 연구한다.

Transient rheological probing of PIB/hectorite-nanocomposites

  • Clay suspensions in liquid polymers exhibit a time-dependent behaviour that includes viscoelastic as well as thixotropic features. Because of the presence of interacting clay platelets, particulate networks can develop, which are broken down during flow and rebuild upon cessation of the flow. Here, the use of thixotropic techniques in probing flow-induced structures in nanocomposites is explored with data on a hectorite-poly(isobutylene) model system. By means of fast stress jump measurements the hydrodynamic contributions to the steady state stresses are determined as well as those caused by the stretching of the clay floes. Flow reversal measurements do not provide a clear indication of flow-induced anisotropy in the present case. The recovery of the clay microstructure upon cessation of flow is followed by means of overshoot and dynamic measurements. The development of a particulate network is detected by the appearance and growth of a low frequency plateau of the storage moduli. The modulus-frequency curves after various rest times collapse onto universal master curves, regardless of the pre-shear history or temperature. The scaling factors for this master curve are the crossover parameters. The crossover moduli are nearly a linear function of the crossover frequency, the relation being identical for recovery after shearing at different shear rates. This function depends, however, on temperature.

  • This article investigates the use of distal demonstrative Hitlo in Taiwanese Southern Min (TSM) from a discourse-pragmatic perspective. The analysis is based on a 5-hour corpus of spoken data, including daily conversations, radio interviews, TV drama series, and some random examples. A total of 172 tokens of Hitlos are identified in the data. They can be divided into six categories according to their functions: firstly, exophoric usage, those Hitlos which refer to an object non-linguistically which can be identified in the immediate situation; secondly, endophoric usage, those which refer to an element textually; thirdly, referent introducing function, those which can be used to introduce a new but identifiable referent into the conversation (the referent usually has topical importance); fourthly, hedging expression, those which serve as a marker of imprecision; fifthly, a condition introducing marker, those which function as an indicator of the coming of a conditional sentence; finally, pause fillers, those which help speakers to manage speech turn or indicate the mental states In addition, an interactive function which Hitlo is found to serve will be discussed. Moreover, a grammaticalizational process involving semantic bleaching which Hitlo is probably undergoing is revealed in general. Finally, a filled demonstrative principle, stating that it may be a universal phenomenon to use demonstratives as filled pause will be proposed.

신형원전(APR+)을 위한 범용소프트제어기의 내고장성 설계 (Fault Tolerant Design of Universal Soft Controller for Advanced Power Reactor)

  • 최근 범용소프트제어기 설계는 원자력발전소의 첨단주제어실에 적용되고 있다. 범용소프트제어기는 고집적 주제어실에서 비안전 기기뿐만이 아니라 안전기기를 제어할 수 있는 소프트웨어 기반의 수동제어 수단이다. 따라서 범용소프트제어기는 신형 주제어실의 단일 워크스테이션 구현을 위한 필수적인 설계특성을 갖고 있다. 전통적인 주제어실은 컴퓨터 기반으로 하는 통합 운전원 인터페이스 체계로 대체되고 있다. 범용소프트제어기의 오작동신호 발생 가능성을 줄이기 위해 어떠한 기기의 조작을 위해서는 2단계의 구분된 운전원 조작을 요구하는 설계를 고려하였다. 범용소프트제어기 오작동 가능성은 매우 낮기 때문에 범용소프트제어기 그자체로 발전소의 트립 가능성을 증가시키지는 않는다. 범용소프트제어기는 원자력발전소의 계측제어분야/인간연계 분야의 혁신을 대표한다. 범용소프트제어기는 인간연계를 기반으로 하는 단일 표시장치에 다양한 디비젼의 제어와 표시기를 통합하고 있다. 범용소프트제어기의 고장으로부터 안전기능 수행의 영향을 막기 위해 안전기기 및 기능에는 공학적 안전설비 신호가 적용된다. 또한 안전등급 수동스위치는 범용소프트제어기의 신호보다 우선한다. 그러므로 범용소프트제어기의 오작동 신호는 안전관련 스위치로부터의 제어신호에 의해 차단되어질 수 있다.

여러 레진계 치아고정 재료의 굴곡강도 및 탄성계수 비교 (Comparison of flexural strength and modulus of elasticity in several resinous teeth splinting materials)

  • 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 수종의 레진계 치아고정 재료의 굴곡강도와 탄성계수를 비교 분석하는 것이다. 연구 재료 및 방법: 레진계 치아고정 재료로 Super-Bond C&B (SB), G-FIX (GF), G-aenial Universal Flo (GU), Filtek Z350 XT (FZ)를 이용하여 각 군당 15개씩 총 60개의 시편을 제작하였다. 3점 굽힘 시험으로 측정된 값에 따라 굴곡강도와 탄성계수를 계산하였다. 실험값은 One-way ANOVA test로 분석하고, Scheffe's test로 사후 검정하였다. 결과: 본 연구의 결과 SB는 다른 재료들과 비교 시 가장 낮은 굴곡강도를 보였으며 GF, GU, FZ는 비슷하게 높은 굴곡강도를 보였다. 탄성계수의 경우 SB가 가장 낮은 값을 보였고 GF는 SB보다는 높지만 GU와 FZ보다는 낮은 탄성계수를 보였으며 GU와 FZ는 유의하게 높은 탄성계수를 보였다. 결론: 동요치 고정을 목적으로 새로 개발된 GU (G-FIX)는 유동성 복합 레진과 수복용 복합 레진과 같이 높은 강도를 보이며 잘 파절되지 않으면서도 상대적으로 유연한 성질을 보여 동요치 고정에 유리할 것으로 사료된다.
