How to obtain the financial resources has not been sufficiently addressed, although the unification of Korea incurs enormous cost. This study explains what tax payers of Korea think with regard to the unification tax which is a contradictory issue as a financial resource. The authors analyzed demographic factors, an initial attitude to unification and tax system, and the degree of knowledge as independent variables affecting the intention to pay the unification tax. Furthermore, through the prospect theory, the authors found out how the attitudes of tax payers change by providing them with different messages according to whether they support or oppose the unification tax. The results showed that a group who are male, a group who are old, and a group with high income tend to support the unification and the unification tax more than others. And the results presents that a group who has more interests in both the unification and the unification tax and a group who has more knowledge about the unification and the tax system have more willingness to pay the unification tax than others. In addition, with regard to the persuasive effect of distinct message types, a message which conceals the cost of attitude change was demonstrated to be more effective than a message which emphasizes the benefit.

We propose an Agricultural Infrastructure Expansion Plan (AIEP) for North Korea following unification from the standpoint of a united Korea's social stability. We predict the food demand after unification, according to four different development scenarios based on the AIEP. These scenarios include meeting a self-sufficient level in the staple food crop, satisfying long-term food supply and demand for the North Korean people, achieving a level of North Korean food consumption comparable to that of South Korea, and maintaining productivity to stabilize of North Korea's rural society. We present the results of a 'benefit-cost' analysis in meeting the production targets of predicted food demands after unification from a civil engineering perspective. We found that the estimated total costs would range from 15.2 to 43.0 billion dollars depending on the particular AIEP scenario. In our analysis, all of the four scenarios presented above demonstrated a high degree of economic validity. We conclude that the AIEP is a necessary and economically valid project for a united Korea's future because it would forestall the collapse of North Korea's rural communities, thereby preventing tremendous economic losses upon unification.

Background: This study aims to analyze the behavioral changes of healthcare providers and influencing factors after the reviewer unification of auto insurance medical benefit claims by an independent review agency. Methods: The comparison data were collected from the second half of 2013 and the same period of 2014. The key indicators are the number of admission days, the number of outpatient visits, inpatient ratio, inpatient medical expenses, and outpatient medical expenses. Results: Four indicators (number of admission days, number of outpatient visits, inpatient ratio, and outpatient medical expenses) showed statistically significant drops, while one indicator (inpatient medical expenses) showed no significant change. Conclusion: The reviewer unification of auto insurance medical benefit claims by an independent review agency showed significant reduction in cost and patient days.

Logistics is one of the most important factors to manage a stream of materials in economic environment. Establishing effective logistics system needs to consider some constraints which are fluctuation of materials volume, a long distance between makers and consumers, one way logistics and small quantity batch production. It is estimated that Unit Load System should be a powerful method to cope with those problems. It helps to realize the key issues which are Standardization and Logistics Pool System The Material Unification of Logistics System is able to participate in all kinds of industries including manufacturing, distribution and logistics. This system has some merits which are a long distance transportation cost down, product recovery, and treatment in the unbalance of demand and supply caused by unstable materials volume. Four strategies of Material Logistics Model are Packing Rationalization, Logistics Pool System, JIT System application and establishing effective infrastructure. The Material Unification Of Logistics System based on Unit Load System achieves efficiency of logistics and largely decreases moving cost.

Continuous efforts have been made to transform industrial technologies possessed by private sector for national defense purposes over decades. Among these efforts, the unification programs between military and commercial specifications resulted in cost reduction and high efficiency of military supplies. In this paper, we study the unification of reliability specifications, which seems to have been widely used for military and commercial fields. We also propose a method of developing an unified reliability specification for electro-mechanical relays.

Our government operates earned value management system (EVMS)of construction schedule and cost for improving earned management system of the construction projects. but There is two unification Method construction schedule and cost to estimate construction progress currently. This weight a staff work. therefore this study present unification method which operate integrate schedule and cost by using work task. M2M (Machine-to-Machine) Technology makes it possible to network all kinds of terminal devices and their corresponding enterprise applications. Therefore, several M2M platforms were developed in China in order to collect information from terminal devices dispersed all over the local places through 3G wireless network. However, when enterprise applications try to integrate with M2M platforms, they should be maintained and refactored to adapt the heterogeneous features and properties of M2M platforms. Moreover, syntactical and semantic unification for information sharing among applications and devices are still unsolved because of raw data transmission and the usage of distinguished business vocabularies. In this paper, we propose and develop an M2M Middleware to support agile application integration with M2M platform. This middleware imports the event engine and XML-based syntax to handle the syntactical unification, makes use of Ontology-based semantic mapping to solve the semantic unification and adopts WebService and ETL techniques to sustain multi-pattern interactive approach, in order to agilely make applications integrated with the M2M platform. Now, the M2M Middleware has been applied in the China Telecom M2M platform. The operation results show that applications will cost less time and workload when being integrated with M2M platform.

Although dictionary definition of standardization is 'to prevent disordered complexity and to make and use rules for reasonable simplification or unification, from a position of shop-floor operations of distribution, it is directly connected to efficiency, that is 'productivity equals cost savings'. This study analyzed influence of standardization of agricultural product packages in hypermarkets on costs in stakeholders of distribution channel such as suppliers, distribution centers and hypermarkets. The research findings demonstrated that it would influence manufacturing costs of suppliers and improve shop productivity of hypermarkets.

A comparative study was made about health resources, medical care service statistics and public health service statistics by health subcenters at Jangdong and Jangpyung townships, Jangheung County, Chollanamdo before and after the unification of two health subcenter to improve their function. 1. While two general physicians, one dentist, 4 nurse aids arid one oral hygienist were working at two health subcenters with simple facility with examination room and public health office in 1997 prior to the unification, in 1999 after the unification of two health subcenters 14 staff including a specialist physician, a general physician, a dentist, a herb hygienist, a radiology technician and a physical therapist were working in the new health subcenters equipped with appropriate facilities in two storey building. 2. In 1997 before the unification the yearly total income of two health subcenters was 78,815 thousand won(about 14,000 won per capita) and the amount was 140,376 thousand won(about 25,000 won per capita) in 1999 after the unification. And the income was used for operation of health subcenters excluding personnel expense. 3. While 90.5% of visitors to the health subcenters came for general medical care, and 91.6% came for the revisit before the unification, after the unification 71.2% came for general medical care, 10.8% for dental care, 16.5% for oriental physician's care, 29.7% for the first visit and 70.3% for revisit. Most common problem cared for was musculoskeletal disorder like arthralgia. Average treatment cost per person per month was 9,363 won before the unification and 8,309 won after the unification. 4. Through the comparison of execution rate of public health services before and after the unification. the practice rate of most health service among target population including visiting service for chronic illness, maternal and child health service and immunization service increased after the unification. The practice rate of tuberculosis control service, hypertension control and diabetes management was a little decreased. In conclusion, continuous effort to satisfy all persons in two townships and evaluation are necessary to coincide with the spirit of unification of two health subcenters.

In order to actively cope with international changes such as cessation of the Cold War in the twentieth century, the government has been proceeding the unification project between military and commercial specification leading to cost reduction of military supplies as well as to high effectiveness. Among these efforts, the study on raw materials specifications, which seems to have been widely used for military or commercial fields, has been performed. As the result of these studies, we have reformed military standards through surveying and summarizing military, KS and international specifications on raw materials. Consequently, the reduction of costs for the procurement of military supplies and the maintenance of current military specifications is to be expected.
