  • 국가응급대응정보시스템(NERIS)개발의 일부인 수송안전정보부분은 최적수송경로제공시스템과 수송사고 조기경보시스템으로 구분된다. 본 연구는 조기경보시스템을 구축하기 위한 것으로 유해화학물질을 수송하는 차량에 대하여 수송시 차량의 위치 및 위험물의 상태를 실시간으로 모니터링 함으로써 수송시 발생할수 있는 유고에 따른 피해(화재, 폭발, 가스 유출 등)를 사전에 방지하거나 조기 감지하는 것을 목적으로 한다 이를 위해 조기경보시스템을 실시간 모니터링, 폭발 상황관리, 관련기관정보제공의 3가지 시나리오로 구분하고, 각각의 시나리오에 따른 기능적 요구사항과 아키텍쳐를 제시한다 총 3단계 연구중 1단계 결과로 실시간 유해물질 차량의 모니터링 시스템은 차량의 실시간 관리가 가능할 뿐 아니라 기타 특정 폐기물이나 건축 폐기물 등의 무단당치 및 폐기 등의 불법적인 행위에 대한 자동 단속 및 관리를 위한 지침으로 충분히 활용 가능할 것으로 판단되었다. 현재 시범 적용을 위해 위치검지 및 통신기술에 대한 비교 $\cdot$ 검토를 진행 중에 있으며, 향후 적절한 기술을 선정하여 1차적으로 수도권에 한하여 시범적용을 수행 할 예정이다.

  • 국내 소화물 운송 시장의 공로의존도가 꾸준히 증가하는 추세에 따라 도로정체, 온실가스 배출, 유가상승에 대한 물류비용 증가 등 사회적 비용이 높게 발생되고 있다. 이에 대해 정부는 철도 활성화 정책을 모색하고 있지만 낮은 표정속도와 선로용량 제약, 문전수송의 불가능 등 기존 철도물류시스템으로는 철도물류를 활성화시키기 어려운 특성이 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 현 철도물류시스템의 제약을 극복하고 활성화시키기 위한 방안으로 국가R&D과제로 개발 연구 중인 여객/화물 복합 열차(Hy-SoBex; Hybrid-Surface Optimal Baggage Express)을 활용한 다양한 연계 수송 서비스 모델들 중 최적의 서비스 모델을 선정하였다.

국내 바이오메탄의 차량 연료화 타당성 연구 (Study on Feasibility Biomethane as a Transport Fuel in Korea)

  • Biogas production and utilisation is an emerging alternative energy technology. Biogas is produced from the biological breakdown of organic matter through anaerobic digestion. Biogas can be utilized for various energy services such as heating, electricity generation and vehicle fuel. Especially, to be utilized as vehicle fuel, raw biogas needs to be upgraded, that is, mainly the removal of carbon dioxide to increase the methane content, up to more than 95% in some cases, similar to the composition of fossil-based natural gas. Biogas fuelled vehicles can reduce $CO_2$ emission by between 75% and 200% compared with fossil fuels. Biomethane development is largely driven by national initiative and predominately by concerns for national air pollution and waste management. Recently, biogas projects for vehicle fuels by some companies are ongoing and Korea government also announced investment to develop biogas as a transport fuel. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examine the feasibility of biomethane as a transport fuel in Korea. In this study, we investigated quality characteristics, quality standard and upgrading technology to use vehicle fuel of transport sector in Korea.

심층 신경망 기법을 통한 부유사 이동 모델링 (Modeling of Suspended Sediment Transport Using Deep Neural Networks)

  • Land reclamation, coastal construction, coastline extension and port construction, all of which involve dredging, are increasingly required to meet the growing economic and societal demands in the coastal zone. During the land reclamation, a portion of landfills are lost from the desired location due to a variety of causes, and therefore prediction of sediment transport is very important for economical and efficient land reclamation management. In this study, laboratory disposal tests were performed using an open channel, and suspended sediment transport was analyzed according to flow velocity and grain size. The relationships between the average and standard deviation of the deposition distance and the flow velocity were almost linear, and the relationships between the average and standard deviation of deposition distance and the grain size were found to have high non-linearity in the form of power law. The deposition distribution of sediments was demonstrated to have log-normal distributions regardless of the flow velocity. Based on the experimental results, modeling of suspended sediment transport was performed using deep neural network, one of deep learning techniques, and the deposition distribution was reproduced through log-normal distribution.

Block-VN: A Distributed Blockchain Based Vehicular Network Architecture in Smart City

  • In recent decades, the ad hoc network for vehicles has been a core network technology to provide comfort and security to drivers in vehicle environments. However, emerging applications and services require major changes in underlying network models and computing that require new road network planning. Meanwhile, blockchain widely known as one of the disruptive technologies has emerged in recent years, is experiencing rapid development and has the potential to revolutionize intelligent transport systems. Blockchain can be used to build an intelligent, secure, distributed and autonomous transport system. It allows better utilization of the infrastructure and resources of intelligent transport systems, particularly effective for crowdsourcing technology. In this paper, we proposes a vehicle network architecture based on blockchain in the smart city (Block-VN). Block-VN is a reliable and secure architecture that operates in a distributed way to build the new distributed transport management system. We are considering a new network system of vehicles, Block-VN, above them. In addition, we examine how the network of vehicles evolves with paradigms focused on networking and vehicular information. Finally, we discuss service scenarios and design principles for Block-VN.

Improvement of inspection system for common crossings by track side monitoring and prognostics

  • Scheduled inspections of common crossings are one of the main cost drivers of railway maintenance. Prognostics and health management (PHM) approach and modern monitoring means offer many possibilities in the optimization of inspections and maintenance. The present paper deals with data driven prognosis of the common crossing remaining useful life (RUL) that is based on an inertial monitoring system. The problem of scheduled inspections system for common crossings is outlined and analysed. The proposed analysis of inertial signals with the maximal overlap discrete wavelet packet transform (MODWPT) and Shannon entropy (SE) estimates enable to extract the spectral features. The relevant features for the acceleration components are selected with application of Lasso (Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator) regularization. The features are fused with time domain information about the longitudinal position of wheels impact and train velocities by multivariate regression. The fused structural health (SH) indicator has a significant correlation to the lifetime of crossing. The RUL prognosis is performed on the linear degradation stochastic model with recursive Bayesian update. Prognosis testing metrics show the promising results for common crossing inspection scheduling improvement.

  • In Korea, the road transport industry is pointed out as a major cause of air pollutants, so management control is needed. Existing studies used only positive input and output variables to measure regional efficiency. However, it is necessary to consider the environmental pollution problem in efficiency analysis. In this study, an undesirable SBM analysis using CO2 was conducted to measure efficiency of domestic regions. In addition, SDM was conducted to examine the ripple effect between domestic regions. As a result of the analysis, the efficiency of the capital area such as Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon was high in the road transport industry. However, the efficiency of the road transportation industry in Daegu and Gangwon was low. In the SDM analysis, it was found that the regional equipment capabilities had a great influence on efficiency. In order to improve efficiency, it is necessary to increase and improve the equipment capacity of the road transport industry.

수요탄력적 버스배차관리를 위한 평가지표 개발 및 적용 (A Development of Evaluation Index for Bus Demand-Elastic Schedule Management)

  • 최근 각 지자체별로 ITS에서 방대한 양의 APTS(BMS, 교통카드 등)자료가 수집되고 있으나 버스배차관리에 활용되는 지표는 도착정시성과 차두간격균등성에 국한되어 있다. 수집되는 자료를 버스운행관리에 충분히 활용하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 이용객 수요를 고려한 운수회사의 배차관리 수준을 평가하기 위해 상관계수를 이용하여 수요탄력적 배차관리지표(DEI, Demand Elastic Index)를 개발하였다. 합리적인 개발지표의 적용을 위한 이상치를 유발시키는 자료에 대한 보정방안을 강구하여 적용하였으며, 노선별 제약조건(운행대수, 배차간격 등)을 고려하여 지표의 형평성을 제고하였다. 개발된 평가지표를 서울시 전체노선(356개)에 적용하고, 노선특성(일평균배차간격, 일일수집금, 일평균운행시간, 운행대수)에 따른 적용성(형평성)을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 개발지표는 ATPS자료가 수집되는 노선의 배차계획 및 관리 수준의 평가가 가능하여, 효율적인 배차관리에 활용성이 클것으로 생각된다.

IoT기반 철도 화차 안전운송 통합 품질관리시스템에 관한 경제성 평가지표 분석 (Economic Evaluation Analysis of Effect of Train Freight Car Safety Transport Integrated Quality Management System Based on Internet of Things(IoT))

  • Purpose: The objective of this study is to verify the economic validation of quality management integrated train freight car by analyzing economic evaluation indicators such as benefit and cost, net present value, and inter rate of return. Methods: First, we itemize benefit and cost field by reviewing literatures; Benefit consists of 1)Safety, 2)Operation, and 3)Maintenance; Cost consists of 1)Set-up fee, 2)Wireless internet fee, and 3)Cloud storage using fee. Second, based on these estimated values, we conduct an economic evaluation analysis. Among them, benefit and cost, net present value, and internal rate of return are selected. Results: As a result, all estimated values are highly over criterion of economic validity($$B/C{\geq}_-1$$, $$NPV{\geq}_-0$$, $$IRR{\geq}_-R$$); 1)benefit over cost ratio is 28.22, 2)Net present value is 8,121.66million KRW, and 3)Internal rate of return value is 2272%. Conclusion: The findings of this study will help making a decision when train industry adopts IoT technology for improving the effectiveness.

군용 총포 도검 화약류 운반 안전관리 발전방안 연구 (A Study on the Development of Safety Management for the Transportation of Army Guns, Swords and Explosives)

  • 군용 총포, 도검, 화약류는 위험성이 상존하는 물질이며 사고 시 큰 피해가 예상되므로 취급에 많은 주의가 필요하다. 군용 총포, 도검, 화약류 안전관리는 제조, 저장, 운반 등으로 구분할 수 있으며 이 중에서 운반은 국내 방위산업체의 군용 총포, 도검, 화약류 성능시험, 계약납품 등을 위해 필수적으로 수행되어야 하는 행위이다. 2020년 군용 총포, 도검, 화약류 운반 건수는 2014년에 대비하여 30% 증가하였고 이는 방위력개선사업 진행에 따른 방산업체의 군용 총포, 도검, 화약류 운송 수요 증가, 무기 수출 증가 등에 따른 운송 수요 증가로 볼 수 있다. 한편 화약류 제조업체 폭발사고 등에 따라 화약류 안전관리에 대한 사회적 관심과 안전관리 강화에 대한 사회적 요구가 증가하고 있으므로 군용 총포, 도검, 화약류 운반 안전관리 현황에 대해 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 주요 무기 제조국인 미국의 군용 총포, 도검, 화약류 운반 안전관리와 국내 민수용 화약류 운반 안전관리를 살펴보고 군용 총포, 도검, 화약류를 안전하고 효율적으로 운반할 수 있는 개선안을 제시하고자 한다.
