The Korean dairy industry has been developed continuously for the past seventy years both in quality and quantity; now the total amount of dairy products accounts for 13 percent of that of livestock production - a remarkable turnover. Korea now stands at the 13th economic power around the world and it is inevitable that we must pursue an open-door policy at a global level; the dairy industry should also strengthen its potentialities in the long term in order to compete with advanced dairy countries. It is predicted that the impact of DDA agreement and FTA negotiations on the domestic dairy industry will be great; so it is urgently needed that we should reconsider the current status of the dairy industry and comprehensive mesures for dairy industry development to improve its international competitiveness. Such measures comprise the three aspects: first, reforming the policy of dairy industry-related systems, second, improving the productivity and third, expanding the consumption of dairy products. In terms of the system reforming, the most important things are, above all, the planned production relevant to market needs, the milk supply and demand management, and the raw milk transaction method. Secondly, the appropriate scale of management is important for the enhancement of productivity together with the modernization of dairy facilities. Thirdly, step-up effort is needed to expand the milk consumption; especially, more milk should be provided to the students by improving the standing milk ration system in middle and senior high schools. The government should make more effort to support and develop new dairy products tuned to consumers' taste, accelerating the publicity of diverse and steady milk consumption together with related organizations.

Researches on Post-quantum blockchain, which is a synthesis of blockchain and post-quantum cryptography[1], are relatively unrevealed areas but have needs to be studied with the regard to the quantum computers. However there could be several fundamental problems, e.g. unsustainably large size of public key and signature, or too lengthy time for sign and verification, if any post-quantum cryptography is adopted to the existing blockchain to implement post-quantum blockchain. Thus, a new method was proposed in this paper that produces fixed length of references for massive signatures and corresponding public keys to enable relatively lightweight transactions. This paper proposed the mechanism that included a new transaction structure and protocols, and demonstrated a post-quantum blockchain that the proposed mechanism was adopted. Through this research, it could enhance compatibility of blockchain regarding post-quantum digital signature, possibly reducing weights of the whole blockchain.

Though, thanks to NPKI(National Public Key Infrastructure), the Korean secure Internet transaction environment has been rapidly grown in the last decade, it also faces with several problems, which need to be solved in near future, mainly resulted from the lack of openness and compatability of the NPKI-based environment which is operating in a closed way. It is believed that those problems of the NPKI can be solved when it is implemented to be based on the SSL/TLS, an international standard for web-based secure Internet transactions. The transition to the SSL/TLS-based NPKI needs to be performed so that the advantages of current NPKI are well maintained. The purpose of this paper is to comparatively analyze the NPKI and the SSL/TLS so as to give basic idea of implementing the current NPKI to be based on the SSL/TLS. The analysis will show not only how the SSL/TLS-based NPKI can improve current NPKI but also how the advantages of current NPKI can be maintained by the SSL/TLS-based NPKI.
The update transactions to be executed in spatial databases usually have been known as interactive and long duration works. To improve the parallelism of concurrent updates, it needs multiple transactions concurrently update a large spatial object which has a spatial extensions larger than workspace of a client. However, under the existing locking protocols, it is not possible to concurrently update a large spatial object because of conflict of a write lock This paper proposes a partial locking scheme of enabling a transaction to set locks on parts of a big object. The partial locking scheme which is an exclusive locking scheme set by user, acquires locks for a part of the big object to restrict the unit of concurrency control to a partial object of a big object. The scheme gives benefits of improving the concurrency of un updating job for a large object because it makes the lock control granularity finer.

In today's globalized world, there is no transparency in exchanging data and information between producers and consumers. However, these tasks experience many challenges, such as administrative barriers, confidential data leakage, and extensive time delays. To overcome these challenges, we propose a decentralized, secured, and verified smart chain framework using Ethereum Smart Contract which employs Inter Planetary File Systems (IPFS) and MongoDB as storage systems to automate the process and exchange information into blocks using the Tendermint algorithm. The proposed work promotes complete traceability of the product, ensures data integrity and transparency in addition to providing security to their personal information using the Lelantos mode of shipping. The Tendermint algorithm helps to speed up the process of validating and authenticating the transaction quickly. More so in this time of pandemic, it is easier to meet the needs of customers through the Ethermint Smart Chain, which increases customer satisfaction, thus boosting their confidence. Moreover, Smart contracts help to exploit more international transaction services and provide an instant block time finality of around 5 sec using Ethermint. The paper concludes with a description of product storage and distribution adopting the Ethermint technique. The proposed system was executed based on the Ethereum-Tendermint Smart chain. Experiments were conducted on variable block sizes and the number of transactions. The experimental results indicate that the proposed system seems to perform better than existing blockchain-based systems. Two configuration files were used, the first one was to describe the storage part, including its topology. The second one was a modified file to include the test rounds that Caliper should execute, including the running time and the workload content. Our findings indicate this is a promising technology for food supply chain storage and distribution.
Purpose - This study intended to identify the effects of varied institutional systems and policies that regulate or define operations of enterprises upon the profitability of private enterprises through case analysis. Design/methodology/approach - The systems and differences in the institution and commodity distribution in Korea and Japan, which define the operation of the "Garak Wholesale Market" and "Ota Wholesale Market". We were examined in the presentthis study, and the statistical data pertinent to the trade volume and profitability of wholesale market corporations that substantially run both markets, were analyzed. Findings - The competition among the corporations that run the "Garak Wholesale Market" substantially is limited due to regulations over the mode of transaction and monopoly of trust thereby significantly higher level of profitability and safety are guaranteed. However, the institutional autonomy that enabled each distributor in the "Ota Wholesale Market" to compete with each other freely caused the distributors therein face difficulties in securing stable profits due to the relatively poor level of profitability resulted from the autonomy. Research implications or Originality - It seems the autonomy in commercial transaction in the "Garak Wholesale Market" in Korea needs to be secured to promote the competition of distributors therein through an amelioration of institutional systems and amendment of relevant laws that prescribe current management of various distributors/operators in the market.
The development of an industry including distribution sector is influenced by not only government policy but the related firms' behaviors. Recently the large-scale retailers have had more enormous channel power than any other distributors including monopolistic makers. Now is the time for government to prepare some policies against the unfair transaction behaviors by large-scale retailers. In this paper I tried to inquire into the distribution competition policy from a political correspondent point of view related with the transition of distribution system. For the purpose of this article I compared the case of Korea with Japan. According to the results so far inquired, there are some commons and differences in the cases of the two. Some suggestions are as follows. Considering the predominant position the concept of large-scale retailers is to be extended from a single store to numerous chain stores in the political level. Government needs to examine the standard propriety for large-scale retailer; the size of selling area and amount of sales a year. When a large-scale retailer store is to be established, it need to be taken a permit or a pre-inspection. The Fair Trade Commission have to secure the neutrality from Government's strategies. And government should find out the examples of unfair transaction behavior types and prepare some proper guidelines continually. For the last time statistical data by distributors are to be fitted out and the actual investigations for estimating the effects of government policies need to be enforced.
Software license agreements, to be useful in the mass market, could not be individually negotiated, and had to be standardized and concise. The software license agreement needs to be presented to the licensee-users in a fashion that would allow for mass distribution of software, also for it to enforceable, that would draw the users' attention to the terms and conditions under which the publisher allowed the use of the software. These needs have been accomplished, with or without fail, through so called the "shrink-wrap licenses" Shrink-wrap licenses purpose to transfer computer softwares to their users by defining the terms and conditions of use of the software without implicating the "first sale doctrine" of the Copyright Act. These shrink-wrap licenses have become essential to the software industry. However, in USA, the law applicable to these licenses has been unclear and unsettled. Courts have struggled to develop a coherent framework governing their enforceability. Meanwhile, the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws ("NCCUSL") in USA promulgated the Uniform Computer Information Transaction Act ("UCITA") governing contracts for computer information transaction on July 29, 1999. One clear objective of UCITA was to settle the law governing the enforceability of shrink-wrap licenses. In these respects, this paper first introduces the various forms that shrink-wrap licenses take(at Part II. Section 1.), and explains the main advantages of them(at Part II. Section 2.) Here it shows how shrink-wrap licenses value themselves for both software publishers and users, including that shrink-wrap licenses are a valuable contracting tool because they provide vital information and rights to software users and because they permit the contracting flexibility that is essential for today's software products. Next, this paper describes the current legal framework applicable to shrink-wrap licenses in USA(at Part III). Here it shows that in USA the development of case law governing shrink-wrap licenses occurred in two distinct stages. At first stage, judicial hostility toward shrink-wrap licenses marked such that they were not enforced pursuant to Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code. At second stage, courts began to recognize the pervasiveness of shrink-wrap licenses, their indispensability to the rapidly expanding information technology industry, and the urgent need to enforce such licenses in order to maintain low prices for consumers of computer hardware or software, resulting in the recognition of shrink-wrap licenses. Finally, in view of the importance of UCITA, this paper examines how it will affect the enforceability of shrink-wrap licenses(at Part IV). The drafters of UCITA, as well as the scholars and practitioners who have criticized it, agree that it validates shrink-wrap licenses, provided certain procedural protections are afforded to purchasers. These procedural protections include the licensee end-user must (i) manifest his assent to the shrink-wrap license, (ii) have an opportunity to review the shrink-wrap license, (iii) have a right to return the product without costs.
Real-time database systems (RTDBS) are database systems whose transactions are associated with timing constraints such as deadlines. Therefore transaction needs to be completed by a certain deadline. Besides meeting timing constraints, a RTDBS needs to observe data consistency constraints as well. That is to say, unlike a conventional database system, whose main objective is to provide fast average response time, RTDBS may be evaluated based on how often transactions miss their deadline, the average lateness or tardiness of late transactions, the cost incurred in transactions missing their deadlines. Therefore, in RTDBS, transactions should be scheduled according to their criticalness and tightness of their deadlines, even If this means sacrificing fairness and system throughput, And It always must guarantee preceding process of the transaction with the higher priority. In this paper, we propose an efficient real-time scheduling algorithm (Multi-level EFDF) that alleviates problems of the existing real-time scheduling algorithms, a real-time concurrency control algorithm(2PL-FT) for firm and soft real-time transactions. And we compare the proposed 2PL F[ with AVCC in terms of the restarting ratio and the deadline missing ratio of transactions. We show through experiments that our algorithms achieve good performance over the other existing methods proposed earlier.
