A Analysis of SW Experience in AI Basic Liberal Arts Education (AI기초교양교육에서 SW경험에 따른 학습자 분석)

  • Humanity faces the 4th industrial revolution, many countries are providing systematic and continuous SW education to foster talent with AI capabilities. On the other hand, there are high concerns that the SW gap will widen and polarize as domestic reality does not provide systematic and continuous SW education to learners. Against this background, this study started to investigate the influence of learners' SW experience on SW education. As a result of the study targeting science and engineering students, the effect of SW experience on SW education was significant. With theses results, it is expected that various discussions will be actively conducted so that systematic and continuous SW education can be provided in elementary and secondary schools.

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, automated technology innovation is emerging, and container terminals are being developed to introduce automation equipment and systems. With the advent of ultra-large vessels, terminals around the world are seeking to build port infrastructure by combining automated technology in order to attract more cargo and to enhance competitiveness to provide prompt service. To introduce automated technology that is emerging as a high-tech industry, this study proposes a structural equation model for the decision to introduce automated container terminal and conducts a questionnaire survey on workers engaged in terminal operators for empirical analysis. This paper presents the role and direction of guidelines for introduction of automated container terminal through decision model.

  • With the popularization of digital devices in the era of the 4th industrial revolution and the increase in cyber crimes targeting them, the importance of securing digital data evidence is emerging. However, the difficulty in securing digital data evidence is due to the use of anti-forensic techniques that increase analysis time or make it impossible, such as manipulation, deletion, and obfuscation of digital data. Such anti-forensic is defined as a series of actions to damage and block evidence in terms of digital forensics, and is classified into data destruction, data encryption, data concealment, and data tampering as anti-forensic techniques. Therefore, in this study, anti-forensic techniques are categorized into data concealment and deletion (obfuscation and encryption), investigate and analyze recent research trends, and suggest future anti-forensic research directions.

  • IoT, Big-data, AI, and Cloud technologies, which are core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution, have recently been applied to various fields and are being used as core technologies for new growth engines. Accordingly, these core technologies are applied to the agricultural field without exception, contributing to solving the problem of labor shortage, reducing production costs, and reducing environmental burden through remote and automated production without time and space constraints. However, as these core technologies are utilized, security incidents are occurring in the agricultural field as well. Accordingly, this study divides smart farms into three stages(Basic, Middle, and High) and presents the characteristics and security threats of each stage. In particular, as the number of container-based services and research increases under cloud platforms, we would like to suggest countermeasures focusing on security threats.

  • The interest in the aircraft interior market is gradually growing due to technological development based on the 4th industrial revolution and competition for airlines to attract customers, and as part of that, Cabin Display System (CDS) for FAA Part.25 civil aircraft is being developed in Korea. The CDS is a system that provides various multimedia services to passengers by utilizing Flexible and Transparent Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED) with Integrated Display Processing Module (IDPM). This paper presents a new method for efficient Data Load Process of large-sized files and deals with their implementation and performance. The results of this study are expected to be applied to Data Load Process development of avionics that require reliable large-capacity file transmission along with reducing the costs of development compared to existing ARINC-615A.

  • Recently, IoT technology has great attention and plays a key role in 4th industrial revolution in order to design customized products and services. Additive Manufacturing (AM) is applied to fabricate IoT sensor directly or IoT sensor embedded structure. Also, design methods for AM are developing to consolidate various parts of IoT devices. Part consolidation leads to assembly time and cost reduction, reliability improvement, and lightweight. Therefore, a design method was proposed to guide designers to consolidate parts. The design method helps designers to define product architecture that consists of functions and function-part relations. The product architecture is converted to a network graph and then Girvan Newman algorithm is applied to cluster the graph network. Parts in clusters are candidates for part consolidation. To demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed design method, a case study was performed with e-bike fabricated by additive manufacturing.

  • Since the era of the 4th industrial revolution has been ripe, the use of artificial intelligence(AI) based on massive data is beginning to be actively applied in various fields. However, as the process of analyzing forest species is carried out manually, many errors are occurring. Therefore, in this paper, about 60,000 pieces of AI learning data were automatically analyzed for pine, larch, conifer, and broadleaf trees of aerial photographs and pseudo images in the metropolitan area, and an AI model was developed to distinguish tree species. Through this, it is expected to increase in work efficiency by using the tree species division image as basic data when producing forest change detection and forest field topics.

  • Convergeance in the military operations can be attained by simultaneously integrating effects based on sensor, C2, shooter asset in multi-domain and there is no exception to special operations. However, because of challenges from enemy, terrain, geopraphy, and weather, it's not easy to intertwine effects created from ground, sea, air, cyber and electromagnetic spectrum, and space in special operations conducted in deep area. This study presented how to intertwine high-tech such as long-rane reconnaissance·strike drone, cutting-edge sensor, jamming pod, and modular repeater in order to offset aforementioned challenges. Several new high-tech are able to strengthen convergeance of special operations in accordance with the development of the 4th industrial revolution. Therefore, follow-up studies need to be continued making an efforts to search for them.

Roles of Trust in Technology Acceptance of Augmented Reality (증강현실(AR) 기술 수용에 있어서 신뢰성의 역할)

  • Various studies have been conducted on factors influencing the adoption of new technologies. In particular, the factors influencing customers' acceptance of new technologies that emerged along with the arrival of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Theoretical models are mainly based on the technology acceptance model (TAM) or Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology : UTAUT2). However, there are no trust variables in these models. In this study, we added trust variable and tested augmented reality(AR). Three types - trust as an independent variable, as a mediating variable, and as a moderating variable - were analyzed statistically. As a result, trust was most explanatory when viewed as a mediating variable between independent variables and intention to use. In theory, it has been shown that trust acts as a mediating effect. In practice, trust is most important in accepting new technologies, so it is important to prioritize trust.
