This study aimed to analyze the research trends of school libraries from 1990 to July 2020. To this end, LDA topic modeling analysis was conducted to the domestic article abstracts related to school libraries. The total number of documents is 498 papers published by the four major domestic journals in Library and Information Science. The log-likelihood estimate criterion was used to determine the number of topics for topic modeling. As a result of the study, 27 topics were discovered, then, theory were categorized by eight subject areas: general, institutional system, building/equipment, operation/management, data organization, service, education, and others. The most popular research was library utilization classes (T27) and Information Utilization (T2). More than 20 studies were found in each evaluation index development (T13), school librarian placement (T24), learning information media utilization (T3), community public library (T7), library cooperation (T9), library use (T17), library research (T11), reading education (T4), collection development (T5), and education effects/teaching methods (T18).

This study analyzed 3,114 articles published in KCI journals and 1,636 articles published in SSCI journals from 2000 to 2019 in order to compare domestic and international research trends of mathematics education using a topic modeling method. Results indicated that there were 16 similar research topics in domestic and international mathematics education journals: algebra/algebraic thinking, fraction, function/representation, statistics, geometry, problem-solving, model/modeling, proof, achievement effect/difference, affective factor, preservice teacher, teaching practice, textbook/curriculum, task analysis, assessment, and theory. Also, there were 7 distinct research topics in domestic and international mathematics education journals. Topics such as affective/cognitive domain and research trends, mathematics concept, class activity, number/operation, creativity/STEAM, proportional reasoning, and college/technology were identified from the domestic journals, whereas discourse/interaction, professional development, identity/equity, child thinking, semiotics/embodied cognition, intervention effect, and design/technology were the topics identified from the international journals. The topic related to preservice teacher was the most frequently addressed topic in both domestic and international research. The topic related to in-service teachers' professional development was the second most popular topic in international research, whereas it was not identified in domestic research. Domestic research in mathematics education tended to pay attention to the topics concerned with the mathematical competency, but it focused more on problem-solving and creativity/STEAM than other mathematical competencies. Rather, international research highlighted the topic related to equity and social justice.

In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the development of information technology brought various benefits, but it also increased social interest in privacy issues. As the possibility of personal privacy violation by big data increases, academic discussion about privacy management has begun to be active. While the traditional view of privacy has been defined at various levels as the basic human rights, most of the recent research trends are mainly concerned only with the information privacy of online privacy protection. This limited discussion can distort the theoretical concept and the actual perception, making the academic and social consensus of the concept of privacy more difficult. In this study, we analyze the privacy concept that is exposed on the internet based on 12,000 news data of the portal site for the past one year and compare the difference between the theoretical concept and the socially accepted concept. This empirical approach is expected to provide an understanding of the changing concept of privacy and a research direction for the conceptualization of privacy for current situations.

This study extracts topics related to university education through newspaper articles and analyzes the characteristics of each topic and the reporting patterns of each newspaper. The 9 topics were discovered using LDA. Topic 1 and Topic 3 are related to university support projects for education, but Topic 3 is focused on local universities. Topic 2 is about university education after COVID-19, Topic 4 teaching-learning methods, Topic 5 government policies, Topic 6 the high school education contribution university support projects, Topic 7 the university education vision, Topic 8 internationalization, and Topic 9 the entrance exam. The Chosun Ilbo, Kyunghyang, and Hankyoreh reported a lot of articles associated to lectures after COVID-19, government policies, and comments on university education. Relevant articles since 2016 have been analyzed by newspaper type and before/after COVID-19 through which differences in the topics were studied and discussed. These findings would suggest a basic policy guideline for university education and imply that the positive and negative effects of the media need to be considered.

As a communication channel for individuals, social media is affecting various areas such as business, economy, politics, and society. One of the less-studied areas is the law. Therefore, this study collected various information from social media and analyzed its impacts on the legal decisions, especially the Supreme Court decisions in Korea. This study was conducted by compiling information from Internet news articles and public responses. We found that when the negative reactions from the public got higher, the trial duration until the supreme court making the final decisions became shorter. However, we were not able to find the significant relationship between social media reactions and dismissal of appeal nor annulment. Our study would contribute to the information systems and knowledge management research in a sense that the social analytics is applied to the area of legal decisions, instead of using conventional qualitative study methodology. Our study is also meaningful to the practitioners because that big data analytical business can be applied to the field of law by creating a new database for the emerging legal technology. Finally, law makers can think of a better way to standardize the legal decision process to minimize the reverse effects from social media.

The purpose of this study is to derive ways to support Integrated Science curriculum implementation by evaluating the results of Integrated Science teacher training programs conducted by the Ministry of Education to support the settlement of 2015 revised Integrated Science curriculum. Teachers' output from the teacher training programs and interviews with training instructors in the 2017 Integrated Science Leading Teacher Training program were analyzed to derive the features of the Integrated Science curriculum and support plans for the implementation of Integrated Science in schools. Teachers who participated in the 2017 Integrated Science Leading Teacher Training program developed teaching, & learning and evaluation plans through participatory training sessions, where the achievement standards most selected by teachers were [10IS08-03] and [10IS09-04]. Through the text mining analysis of these achievement standards, we explored the implementation realities such as reconstruction of achievement standards, teaching and learning methods, learning materials, evaluation methods, and subject competencies. In addition, we analyzed exemplary reconstruction models of achievement standards in light of best integrated instruction, student-participatory instruction, and developing science competencies. Based on the results, we propose teacher training support plans and further studies for the implementation and settlement of the Integrated Science curriculum.

The amount of data is increasing through various IT devices in a hyper-connected society where the 4th revolution is progressing, and new value can be created by analyzing that data. This paper was collected total 1,526 articles from 2017 to 2019 in central magazines, economic magazines, regional associations, and major broadcasting companies with the keyword "(East Coast Tourism or East Coast Travel) and Gangwon-do" through Bigkinds. It was performed the topic modeling using LDA algorithm implemented in the R language to analyze the collected 1,526 articles. It was extracted keywords for each year from 2017 to 2019, and classified and compared keywords with high frequency for each year. It was setted the optimal number of topics to 8 using Log Likelihood and Perplexity, and then inferred 8 topics using the Gibbs Sampling method. The inferred topics were Gangneung and Beach, Goseong and Mt.Geumgang, KTX and Donghae-Bukbu line, weekend sea tour, Sokcho and Unification Observatory, Yangyang and Surfing, experience tour, and transportation network infra. The changes of articles on East coast tourism was was analyzed using the proportion of the inferred eight topics. As the result, the proportion of Unification Observatory and Mt. Geumgang showed no significant change, the proportion of KTX and experience tour increased, and the proportion of other topics decreased in 2018 compared to 2017. In 2019, the proportion of KTX and experience tour decreased, but the proportion of other topics showed no significant change.

With the aim of an intelligent world in the age of individual customization through decentralization of information and technology, sharing/opening, and connection, we often see a tendency to cross expectations and concerns in the technological discourse and interest in artificial intelligence more than ever. Recently, it is easy to find claims by futurists that AI singularity will appear before and after 2045. Now, as part of preparations to create a paradigm of coexistence that coexists and prosper with AI in the coming age of artificial intelligence, a standard framework for setting up more correct AI ethics and regulations is required. This is because excluding the risk of omission of setting major guidelines and methods for evaluating reasonable and more reasonable guideline items and evaluation standards are increasingly becoming major research issues. In order to solve these research problems and at the same time to develop continuous experiences and learning effects on AI ethics and regulation setting, we collect guideline data on AI ethics and regulation of international organizations / countries / companies, and research and suggest ways to set up a standard framework (SF: Standard Framework) through a setting research model and text mining exploratory analysis. The results of this study can be contributed as basic prior research data for more advanced AI ethics and regulatory guidelines item setting and evaluation methods in the future.

The purpose of this study is to explore trends in research at home and abroad related to "Sport Facilities", and seek the direction of further research. 1,801 abstracts of papers including "Sport Facilities" were collected from the SCOPUS DB from 2016 to 2020. Topic modeling techniques based on Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) algorithm implemented in R language, TD-IDF techniques, and word cluds using Tagxedo was conducted to analyze the data. As a result, 8 topics were optimally determined, and "sports", "facilities", "health", "physical", "data", and "using" were derived as the main keywords for topics. This results indicated that studies on physical activity, health and using facilities regarding sports facilities at home and abroad have been actively carried out in recent years. This indicates that papers in SCOPUS DB are paying attention to the instrumental value of sport facilities, such as health promotion and improving the quality of life. Therefore, various studies that help participants who use sport facilities for a healthy life should be continuously conducted in the future.

This study aims to analyze the research trends on the civic participation in a smart city and to present implications to policy makers, industry professionals and researchers. As rapid urbanization is defining development trend of modern city, urban problems such as transportation, environment, and energy are spreading and intensifying around the city. Countries around the world are introducing smart cities to solve these urban problems and to achieve sustainable development. Recently, many countries are modifying urban planning from top-down to down-up by actively engaging citizens to participate in the urban construction process directly and indirectly. Although the construction of smart cities is being promoted in Korea to solve urban problems, awareness of smart cities and civic participation are low. In order to overcome this situation, discussions on ideas and methods that can increase civic participation in smart cities are continuously being conducted. Therefore, in this study, by collecting publication containing both 'Smart Cities' and 'Participation (Engagement)' in Scopus DB, the topics of related studies were categorized and research trends were analyzed using topic modeling. Through this study, it is expected that it can be used as evidence to understand the direction of civic participation research in smart cities and to present the direction of related research in the future.
