We consider the problem of testing for change and estimating the unknown change-point in a sequence of time-ordered observations from the binomial and Poisson distributions. Including the likelihood ratio test, Gombay and Horvath (1990) tests are studied and the proposed change-point estimator is derived from their test statistic. A power study of tests and a comparison study of change-point estimators are done via simulation.

Direct-Sequence code-division multiple access(DS/CDMA) is considered by many to be a promising technology for future wireless communication networks. In this paper, we report new analysis for probability of BPSK CDMA hypothesis test in jointly distributed AWGN Rayleigh-fading received signal. In previous method, analysis is performed on AWGN or Rayleigh-faded signal in separately. In this paper, we propose model for hypothesis test system of the AWGN Rayleigh-faded received signal.

A modified Anderson and Hauck(1983) test for analyzing a two-sequence two-period crossover design in bioequivalence trials is proposed when some observations at the second period are missing. It is based on the maximum likelihood estimators of average bioequivalence model and designed for handling missing at random(MAR) situation. The performance of the proposed test is compared to other tests using Monte Carlo simulations.

This paper considers the problem of testing a variance change in infinite order autoregressive models. A cusum of squares test based on the residuals from an AR(q) model is constructed analogous to Inclan and Tiao (1994)'s test statistic, where q is a sequence of positive integers diverging to $\infty$. It is shown that under regularity conditions the limiting distribution of the test statistic is the sup of a standard Brownian bridge. Simulation results are given to illustrate the performance of the test.

This report describes the procedure of detailed design and structural test for the composite flexure which is a part of the hingeless hub system. First, stacking sequence design for composite flexure was done, and structural analysis by using NASTRAN was made to verify structural stability and safety. Using FPS installed at KIMM, composite flexure was laid up and cured using a autoclave. Before rotor ground test, the basic structural tests such as a bench test, tensile strength test and shear strength test, for flexure, were accomplished. Through replacing existing metal hub part with new fabricated composite flexure, improvement of aeroelastic stability and weight reduction were achieved. This result will be applied to composite rotor system design fur helicopter.

The inter-laboratory comparison test which is demanded on the authorized test of ISO/IEC 17025 is the program to guarantee the confidence of test result. This paper, as a part of the inter-laboratory comparison test between South Korea and China, is refered to the characteristic of friction coefficient of disk brake lining for rolling stock according to disk type. Brake tests were carried out under constant brake force and operating sequence by using dynamo-tester according to disk and disk lining types. To establishing the confidence of test result, we calculated A type uncertainty about friction coefficient and investigated the factors about the variation of friction coefficient.

인터넷 사용의 급증과 더불어 보다 편리한 인터넷 서비스를 위한 여러 연구가 활발히 진행되어 왔다. 웹 로그 데이터로부터 빈번하게 발생되는 웹 페이지들의 방문 시퀀스를 탐색하는 기법 역시 효과적인 웹 사이트를 설계하기 위한 목적으로 많이 연구되어 왔다. 그러나 기존의 방법들은 모두 여러 번의 데이터베이스 스캔을 필요로 하는 방법으로 지속적으로 생성되는 웹 로그 데이터로부터 빠르게 실시간적으로 웹 페이지 방문 시퀀스를 탐색하기에는 많은 어려움이 있었다. 또한 점진적(incremental)이고 대화형식(interactive)의 탐색 기법 역시 지속적으로 생성되는 웹 로그 데이터를 처리하기 위하여 필요한 기능들이다. 본 논문에서는 지속적으로 생성되는 웹 로그 데이터로부터 단일 스캔을 통하여 빈번히 발생하는 웹 페이지 방문 시퀀스를 점진적이고 대화 형식적인 방법으로 탐색하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 WTS(web traversal sequence)-트리 구조를 사용하며 다양한 실험을 통하여 기존의 방법들에 비해 성능적으로 우수하고 효과적인 방범임을 증명한다.

본 논문은 M시퀀스 신호를 이용하여 로켓 추진기관의 케이블 결함 위치 추정 기법에 관한 논문이다. 케이블 내부 결함 위치를 추정하기 위해서 다양한 방법이 연구되어왔는데, 이 중에서 TDR(Time Domain Reflectometry), FDR(Frequency Domain Reflectometry), TFDR(Time-Frequency Domain Reflectometry) 등이 가장 널리 사용되어 왔다. 이 방법들은 케이블 결함 상태를 진단하기 위해 주로 사용되지만 사용자가 시험환경에 접근하여 수행해야하기 때문에 리스크가 매우 크다. 따라서 시험안전을 확보하고 기존의 방법 대비 동등 이상의 성능을 지니는 M시퀀스 신호를 이용한 케이블 결함 위치 추정 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 로켓 추진기관 시험에 사용되고 있는 DAS(Data Acquisition System)를 활용하도록 하고, 주로 물리량 계측에 이용되는 RG-58 케이블을 적용하여 기존의 방법인 TDR, TFDR과 비교하여 성능을 검증하였다. 시험 결과 40 m 이내 근거리 케이블 결함 추정에서는 기존의 방법보다 낮은 오차율을 나타났고, 50 m에서는 기존의 방법과 비슷한 오차율을 확인하였다. 따라서 무기체계에 사용되는 DAS를 활용하고 일반적으로 사용되는 M시퀀스 신호를 응용하여 작업자가 시험환경에 접근하지 않고 안전하게 케이블 결함을 추정할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

서픽스 트리는 주어진 모든 문자열의 모든 서픽스를 트리 형태로 나타내는 자료구조로서 선형시간에 구성할 수 있으며 문자열에 대한 많은 문제를 효율적으로 해결할 수 있다. 하지만 이런 효용성에도 불구하고 서픽스 트리로 구성한 문자열을 삽입/삭제하는 경우 트리를 구성하는데 상당히 많은 시간이 소비된다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 서픽스 트리 재구성 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 부 문자열을 삽입하는 경우와 삭제하는 경우로 나눈 다음, 발생할 수 있는 모든 경우의 수를 감안해서 설계했다. 알고리즘의 성능을 평가하기 위해서 기존의 Ukkonen 알고리즘과 비교실험 해 본 결과 서픽스 트리 재구성 시 30% 이상 시간이 절약됨을 알 수 있었다.

본 연구에서는 유사한 여러 물체들이 인접하여 나타나는 영상열로부터 물체들을 개별적으로 분리할 수 있는 B-spline 적합(fitting) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존의 스네이크(snake) 알고리즘들은 초기화의 어려움과 다수의 극점 존재로 인해서 이러한 영상자료에서 물체의 영역을 개별적으로 분리하는 데는 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이 문제를 극복하고 다양한 형태의 물체가 인접해 있는 유사한 물체들로부터 효과적으로 분할 할 수 있는 유전자(genetic) 알고리즘 기반 B-spline 적합방안을 제안한다. 실제 상황을 고려하여 생성된 영상자료와 실제 치아 CT 영상을 이용한 평가에서 제안된 방법은 서로 인접해 있는 유사한 형태와 자기의 물체들을 개별적으로 정확하게 분할할 수 있음을 보였다. 제안된 알고리즘의 결과는 이상적으로 추출된 영역과의 일치성과 false positive 오류 그리고 false negative오류가 계산되어 검증되었다.
