  • Advancement in electronic technology has given office workers a new freedom, and a new meaning to workplace flexibility. Actually non territorial workplace has different space elements from general and conventional workplace in terns of interior design and architecture even organization management. The purpose of this study is on the establishment of an evaluation model for non territorial workplace that may be used, practically on the spot. For the establishment of non territorial workplace evaluation model, it is ahead of the study of the feature and the type of none territorial workplace and the research for existing office evaluation technique by Preiser and Vicher. And then the evaluation model for none territorial workplace which is composed three parts that is user's importance, provider's importance and user' satisfaction related fact of workplace. It is constructed by 6 factors which are physical, psychological, workplace environmental, communication, exterior environment, and space managing system therefore each factors has scrupulous elements therefore the total elements are 40. To make more confidence the evaluation model for non territorial workplace, it requires that study continually through the survey with the non territorial workplace evaluation model.

  • Recently, many countries are promoting the rapid development of marine for securing territorial sea. The importance of territorial sea has being emphasized as territorial disputes among countries has been increasing. The South Korea should be encouraged to expand the territory due to territorial disputes with neighborhood countries. The purpose of this study is to derive a improvement plan for the efficient control of the territorial base point through analyzing the existing territorial base point and checking the territorial base point. Therefore, we proposed a variety of new plans for accurate positioning by sea level observation and MBES, reduced the surveying procedure through analyzing the existing territorial base points and provided a basis for the territorial base points which can be the 2nd grade national control points by improving a grade. We also suggested that the territorial base points and sub-territorial base points' database should be given standardized number for increasing the efficient management of other national control points and territorial base points. Finally, we suggested a improved work regulation about analysis and maintenance for territorial base points, the information activity of territorial base points and the new plan of community relations. This study will be a basis for the foundation of maritime territory which could be superior to other countries and the expansion of maritime territory.

  • This study focuses on evaluating that South Korea has the territorial right of Manzhouguo with disconfirming that China had the territorial right of Manzhouguo after the Second World War. This study also suggests the necessity of territorial cultures with establishing the theory of cultural territories and territorial cultures. The four main territorial cultures of Manzhouguo that are the burial culture, the place name cultural, the cadastral, and the folk culture were analyzed with Classifying territorial cultures. The results shows that territorial cultures of Manzhouguo is the same with territorial cultures of South Korea. Thus, This study suggests that territorial cultures of Manzhouguo should be vest to South Korea and not to China, because of the theory of cultural territories, which is that territorials can be defined with cultures and territorial cultures, which cultures can be defined with territorials.

  • This paper attempts to rethink the ancient Emperor's Capital transition process from the viewpoint of territorial history. Emperor Tenmu, who planned first capital as Fujiwara-kyo in Asuka region, had a grand plan to put multiple cities in Japan. At that time the important cities were situated along east-west axis. However, since relocation of the capital from Fujiwara-kyo to Heijyo-kyo, the axis had turned towards north-south direction. The last ancient capital Heian-kyo was clearly organized utilizing north-south water systems in territorial sense.

  • The law of territorial sea is a fundamental law by which the width of sovereign domain of a coastal state is determined. The P.R.China'a regime on the territorial sea was established through the Declaration on China's Ttrritorial Sea of 1958 and the P.R.China's Territorial Sea and Contiguous Zone Law of 1992. And the P.R.China's consistent policy on the territorial sea can be summarized as follows ; \circled1 The adoption of the straight baseline and 12 nautical miles of the territorial sea width, \circled2 The foreign merchant vessels can enjoy the right of innocent passage, while requesting for prior permission for the foreign military vessels on the entry into territorial sea. \circled3 The Chiungchow Strait and the Bohai Bay are claimed as the internal waters. \circled4 Enlistment of the whole coastal islands including the Taiwan. 12 nautical miles of the territorial sea width can be recognized as lawfull with respect to the 1982 UNLOS Convention. But the P.R.China's Territorial Sea and Contiguous Zone Law of 1992 contains some problems on the legality viewed in the light of customary international law. Firstly, it can be said that the adoption of simple straight baseline is not reasonable, and it must be investigated closely on the hidden intention of China. Secondly, there involved some possibility of international dispute on making Tung Tao which is 69 nautical miles apart from the mainland of a basepoint and on making the Bohai Bay of a historic bay. And also public notification of all basepoints for the straight baselines is necessary to meet the requirement of customary international law, Thirdly, two military zones established unilaterally in 1950 are illegal with respect to the customary international law, and they must be repealed deservedly. Fourthly, there have a lot of restrictions on the innocent passage even for foreign merchant vessels by the municipal law such as the Maritime Traffic Safety Law. As a conclusion, the P.R.China's territorial sea regime contains some illegal elements such as unilateral expansion of the maritime sovereignty or jurisdiction. In order to meet the general principle of the international law, the P.R.China's territorial sea policy must be modified on the basis of multilateral agreement with the states concerned. And Korea, as a state with opposite, has a definite right to take countermeasure agaist the P.R.China's contiguous zone.

  • As the depletion of land resources, the attention about marine resources has been focused on. Neighboring countries such as Japan and China to expand their marine territory invest more governmental money. The exact territorial sea baselines can be the scientific data which cad resolve the dispute between the neighboring countries. So, those territorial sea baselines should be maintained systematically and continuously. Because territorial sea baselines surveyed 10 years ago without updating, the review may be needed. In this study, we compared 2009 year surveying results with past territorial sea baselines results for reviews. As a results, Jeju Island represents a large difference. So, the outputs of territorial sea baselines around Jeju Island should be readjusted. Through this study, the ongoing maintenance of the territorial sea baselines is required. The continuing interest in the maritime boundary, as well as defend in terms of protection for undersea resources are needed.

  • In order to investigate territorial behaviour, Pungitius sinensis kaibarae were collected from Sacheon-river, Kangwon-do, Korea. They are reared in aquarium with designed experimental region from March to May 1996. In this study, territorial behaviour was divided into 1) pre-territorial movements of a shoal under varying water-weeds position 2) individual ranking patterns in connection with total length of fish 3) the change in size of territorial maps during the parental stage. The movements of a shoal tend to prefer regions with water-weeds and the lower half of the aquarium. Competition for territory was fierce, and fish that are longer in total length dominate smaller one in occupying territory. Both males and females developed territorial behaviour as they grew. However, male's territory was enlarged according to the hatching and dispersion of fry. At this time, aggressive tendencies reached their peak.
