인공위성용 서미스터의 온도측정 정확도 분석 (Accuracy analysis on the temperature measurement with thermistor)

  • 인공위성에 사용되는 온도 측정 센서는 서미스터(Thermistor) 와 AD590이 주로 많이 사용되고 있다. AD590은 IC chip으로 서미스터에 비해 고가이며 $1^{\circ}C$ 온도 변화에 출력 전류가 약 $1{\mu}A$ 변하는 특성을 가진다. 이에 비해 서 미스터는 온도 변화에 따라 저항 값이 변하므로 외부에서 전류나 혹은 전압 stimulus를 인가해 주어야한다. 또한 일반적으로 AD590에 비해 저가이며 NTC(Negative Temperature Coefficient)와 PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient) 두 가지 형태의 센서가 사용되고 있다. 고 정밀 저궤도 지구관측용 인공위성의 경우 온도에 따른 카메라 구조물의 변형이 최종 영상 품질에 영향을 미치게 되므로 고 품질의 영상획득을 위하여 카메라 구조물의 정밀 온도 제어가 필수적으로 요구되며 이를 구현하기 위해서 매우 정확한 온도측정 요구조건이 주어지게 된다. 저궤도 인공위성의 경우 카메라 시스템에 부착된 온도센서의 측정 정확도 요구조건이 $0.3^{\circ}C$ 까지 요구되는 경우도 있다. 본 논문은 저 궤도 인공위성에 적용된 서 미스터의 온도 측정 정확도에 대한 분석 내용을 나타내었다.

  • Thermal characteristics of hydrostatic guideway is largely depended on the temperature of supplied oil. For improving the positioning accuracy of hydrostatic guideway, relationship between setting temperature of oil cooler and thermal characteristics is analyzed, and influence of thermal characteristics on positioning accuracy is also analyzed experimental1y in this paper. Laser scale which has 0.01 $\mu\textrm{m}$ of resolution is used as feed-back unit. From the experimental results, it is confirmed that positioning error and repeatability is minimize upto 0.21 $\mu\textrm{m}$ and 0.18 $\mu\textrm{m}$ when the temperature of supplied oil is setting equal to temperature of atmosphere, and also confirmed that thermal deformation, which occurs by the temperature deviation between table and rail or scale supporter, works as limit of repeatability in long time operation.

해양환경모니터링을 위한 표류부이 개발 (Development of a Floating Buoy for Monitoring Ocean Environments)

  • The state changes of ocean covered over 70% of earth surface are one of the greatest factor of weather catastrophe. Recently weather extraordinary events are followed by steep increase of sea water temperature and scientists in various fields are studying and warning the weather changes. In this paper, floating buoy is developed to monitor ocean environments via Orbcomm satellite and a method is proposed to increase measurement accuracy of sea water temperature with common low price temperature sensor. Experimental results are presented to illustrate the usability and effectiveness of the developed system. A web-based real time monitoring system is built to monitor ocean environmental information such as sea and air temperature, salinity according to the position of buoy through the internet for user convenience.

연소진단용 이동형 광대역 코헤런트 반 스톡스 라만 분광기에 관한 연구 (Study on Mobile Broadband Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Spectrometer For Combustion Diagnostics)

  • We construct a mobile broadband coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy system to measure the temperature of combustion gases. To improve the accuracy of CARS temperatures due to Stokes lasers, a modeless dye laser is constructed. A monochromator to disperse CARS spectra is also constructed in the spectrometer for easy portability. The accuracy of CARS temperature, measured in graphite tube furnace in reference to a radiation pyrometer, is better than 2 % from 1000 K to 2400 K. The CARS temperature error due to the variation of the spectral distribution of the modeless laser is measured to be less than 1.5 % during five hours operation. As a demonstration of combustion diagnosis, we applied the spectrometer to measure the temperature distribution of the propane air premixed flame.

  • As non-isothermal mixed pixel is widely existed, the pixel-mean temperature cannot adequately represent the actual thermal state of land surface. The row crop was chosen as target to discuss the problem of component temperature retrieval. At first, the matrix model was found to express the thermal radiant directionality of the target. Then correlation of multi-angle infrared radiance was analyzed. In order to increase the retrieving accuracy, we chose the retrievable parameters and established the iterative method combining with inverse matrix to retrieve component temperature. It was proved by field experiment that the method could improve the retrieving accuracy and stability remarkably.

자동 요소 생성법을 이용한 대형 용접구조물의 해석 (Analysis of large welded structures by using an automatic mesh generation)

  • The accuracy of the finite element method depends upon the mesh that is used in the analysis. The temperature around the arc is higher than the melting point of the materials, and it drops sharply in the regions just away from the arc. This requires an extremely fine mesh in the confined high temperature region to predict the temperature accurately in that region. But the computational time increases with the fineness of mesh. Since fine mesh is required only around the arc source, adaptivity of the input mesh according to the position of the arc source is efficient. The remeshing technique gives a fine mesh in the high temperature region around the arc and a coarse mesh in other region at any time step. With this it is possible to achieve desired accuracy with less computation time. In this study a transient adaptive mesh, remeshing technique, is developed and calculated temperature for a sample problem.

Water Temperature Prediction Study Using Feature Extraction and Reconstruction based on LSTM-Autoencoder

  • 본 논문에서는 LSTM-Autoencoder 기반 특징추출과 재구성 데이터를 이용한 수온 예측 방법을 제안한다. 냉수대 현상이 발생한 동해 낙산 지역의 해수면 수온과 수온에 영향을 미치는 풍향, 풍속 등 다변량 시계열 데이터를 이용하고, LSTM-Autoencoder 모델을 이용하여, 원본 데이터의 차원 축소를 통해 추출된 특징 데이터를 원본 데이터의 다변수 데이터로 결합한 데이터, 복원 데이터, 원본 데이터 총 3가지를 사용한다. 수온 예측을 위해 LSTM 모델에 3가지 데이터를 학습하고, 정확도를 평가한 결과 MAE 0.3652, RMSE 0.5604, MAPE 3.309%으로 LSTM-Autoencoder의 특징추출을 이용한 수온 예측 정확도가 가장 우수한 성능을 보이는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 냉수대와 같이 해수면 수온 변화가 급변하는 구간의 예측 정확도를 높여, 자연재해의 피해를 예방할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

단기수요예측 알고리즘 (An Algorithm of Short-Term Load Forecasting)

  • Load forecasting is essential in the electricity market for the participants to manage the market efficiently and stably. A wide variety of techniques/algorithms for load forecasting has been reported in many literatures. These techniques are as follows: multiple linear regression, stochastic time series, general exponential smoothing, state space and Kalman filter, knowledge-based expert system approach (fuzzy method and artificial neural network). These techniques have improved the accuracy of the load forecasting. In recent 10 years, many researchers have focused on artificial neural network and fuzzy method for the load forecasting. In this paper, we propose an algorithm of a hybrid load forecasting method using fuzzy linear regression and general exponential smoothing and considering the sensitivities of the temperature. In order to consider the lower load of weekends and Monday than weekdays, fuzzy linear regression method is proposed. The temperature sensitivity is used to improve the accuracy of the load forecasting through the relation of the daily load and temperature. And the normal load of weekdays is easily forecasted by general exponential smoothing method. Test results show that the proposed algorithm improves the accuracy of the load forecasting in 1996.

유한차분법을 이용한 볼스크류 시스템의 열팽창 해석

  • Bal1 screw systems has been used for positioning elements of machine tools. In order to maintain high rigidity and accuracy, preload is applied between nut and screw. However, large amount of preload increases frictional heat. Temperature rises remarkably at high speed notion, Thermal expansion degrades positioning accuracy, In this paper, finite differance method is applied to compute temperature distributions and thermal expansions of ball screw systems according to preload condition and rotational steed. Some simulation results show that the developed methodology is good to study thermal expansion of ball screw systems.

  • 본 논문에서는 BGR과 ADC를 사용하여 Temperature Compensation 기능을 가진 Relaxation Oscillator를 제안한다. Relaxation Oscillator는 전류조절을 통해 주파수를 결정한다. 제안하는 Relaxation Oscillator는 온도에 따른 출력 주파수를 보상하기 위하여 온도에 따른 ADC 및 BGR의 출력 코드를 사용하여 전류를 조절한다. 제안하는 Relaxation Oscillator는 CMOS 0.35 ${\mu}m$ 공정으로 설계되었으며, 면적은 $240{\mu}m{\times}210{\mu}m$ 이다. 전류 소모는 공급전압인 5 V에서 600 ${\mu}A$이며, 온도에 대한 출력 주파수는 ${\pm}1%$이내의 정확도를 가진다.
