학생들의 특성을 반영한 균형적인 팀 편성 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Balanced Team Formation Method Reflecting Characteristics of Students)

  • 4차 산업혁명의 도래와 교육 환경의 변화에 따라 대학 수업에서 팀 단위의 과제 수행이 증가하고 있다. 팀 기반의 수업에서 효과적인 팀의 편성은 학생들의 만족도와 교육의 효과에 영향을 미치는 중요한 문제이지만, 기존의 연구들은 팀 편성의 결과에 대한 사후분석에 중점을 두고 있어서 실제 수업에서 활용하기는 어려웠다. 본 연구에서는 학생들의 능력을 비롯한 여러 특성들을 반영하여 균형적인 팀을 편성하는 방법에 대한 수리적 모형을 제시하였다. 배정의 기준이 되는 특성값들은 학생들의 능력값 처럼 점수일 수도 있고, 성별과 같이 2진값, 그리고 학년이나 학과와 같이 다중값인 경우를 포함한다. 이 문제는 균형배분문제의 일종으로 0-1 정수계획법의 형태를 가지며, 목적함수는 균형을 달성하는 방법에 따라 선형 또는 비선형이 된다. 본 연구에서 제시한 기본 모형이나 확장된 모형은 실제 수업에서 다양한 요소들을 고려하여 팀을 균형 있게 편성하는 상황에 응용이 가능하다.

종합전문요양기관의 간호전달체계에 대한 실태조사 연구 (Survey on Nursing Care Delivery Systems of University Affiliated Hospitals in Korea)

  • Purpose: This study investigated nursing care delivery systems in 44 university affiliated hospitals and satisfactions with the systems perceived by 226 unit managers (head nurses) of general medical surgical wards. Methods: Data were collected with questionnaires consisting of checklists asking the unit managers their nursing care delivery systems and their satisfactions with the systems. Results: Four models of nursing care delivery systems (primary, modified primary, team, and functional models) were drawn from the participants' responses. Among the four key models 35% of the units adopted team model whereas 24.3% adopted primary model and 22.6% adopted modified primary model. In spite of 35% of team model being under use, 60.6% (n=137) of the unit managers answered the nursing delivery system of their units as team model and only 6.2% (n=14) answered their units having primary or modified primary models, instead of 46.9% combining both. In regard to the satisfaction, critical thinking ability of staff nurses (members in their units) was the most dissatisfactory area regardless of models of service delivery. Conclusion: Introducing team model supplemented with core concepts of primary model (primary team delivery model) into nursing practice will reform the workplace and therefore deliver safe health care services to patients.

  • Purpose: The hotel industry needs a leader who can actively demonstrate leadership to respond to and accept changes in the organization in a highly competitive and fast-changing environment. Therefore, the role of leaders who instill clear vision and goals of the organization in their members, listen to their opinions, and empathize is paramount. Leaders should encourage successful organizational activities based on active participation by employees and create the best environment for working with a sense of mission and responsibility. This study aims to identify the relationship between empathy leadership and job engagement as a result variable of team cohesion in the hotel culinary department and conduct empirical studies on the role of empathy leadership and job engagement. Research design, data, and methodology: The data were collected from employees who work in culinary department at a five-star franchise hotel located in the Seoul metropolitan area. Because it is difficult to conduct a survey through face-to-face contact with employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the online survey was conducted from February 1 to February 28, 2020. A total of 330 questionnaires through online were distributed and 268 employees completed the survey, yielding a response rate of 81%. Of the 268 returned responses, 27 responses were not usable due to missing information. Thus, a total of 241 responses were used for analysis. Results: The study results are as follows. First, it has been shown that the empathy leadership of culinary department in hotel companies has a significant positive impact on the job engagement. Second, it has been shown that job engagement has a significant positive effect on members' team cohesiveness. Third, empathy leadership of hotel companies' culinary department has a significant positive impact on members' team cohesiveness. Fourth, job engagement has a significant positive (+) mediating effect in the relationship between empathy leadership and team cohesiveness in culinary department. Conclusion: This study supports the theory that an emotional and empathic leader's behavior or ability can change the effectiveness or atmosphere of a rapidly changing hotel culinary team organization by presenting a research model on the effect of empathic leadership on job engagement and team cohesiveness. And hotel chefs should be more aware of the importance of empathic leadership and make them a human resource of the organization through formal and informal communication with culinary employees.

의류학 관련 교양과목 <영화로 만나는 패션> 개발과 운영사례 (A case study on the development and operation of "Fashion & Film" in the liberal arts related to apparel science)

  • This case study developed and operated "Fashion & Film" as a fashion-related liberal arts course. The class was designed to include fashion styles exhibitted in films, fashion-related PPL, fashion design through film, fashion images of movie characters, considering gender & color images expressed in movie costumes, and the history of western costumes and asian folk costumes in films. The class was counducted through various teaching methods, such as lectures, student's presentation of movie plots, and team discussions, which created a student-led class. The team presentations at the end of the term were intended to enhance the understanding of fashion through movies. The results of subjective lecture evaluation of "Fashion & Film" showed the most satisfaction with the communication with professor. Students said that it was good to understand fashion through film. They expressed a burden with the team project; however, they were satisfied with the team project outcomes. Students said that PowerPoint was used very effectively. On the other hand, there was an prevelent opinion that the content of PowerPoint and workbook did not match. To address this inconvenience, a textbook called "Fashion in Film" was published and used in the first semester of 2020. The multiple-choice evaluation showed that students were generally satisfied with the "Fashion & Film" class.

중학교 "기술$\cdot$가정"교과 운영에 대한 교사의 인식과 만족도 (The Perception and Satisfaction with the Implementation of Technology and Home Economics of Middle School Teachers)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 $\ulcorner$기술 가정$\lrcorner$교과의 운영 형태와 교과 운영 형태를 결정하는 의사결정과정에서 교사의 참여정도를 알아보고, 이에 따른 교사의 만족도를 밝히는데 있다. 분석을 위한 설문지는 2001년 7월에서 8월 사이에 중학교 1학년 $\ulcorner$기술 가정$\lrcorner$교과를 지도하고 있는 교사 284명으로부터 우편을 통해 수집하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 중학교 1학년 $\ulcorner$기술 가정$\lrcorner$교과는 주로 가정과 교사에 의해 전담지도 되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2) 전담지도하는 교사는 비전공영역의 기능과 지식 부족, 학생들의 교과에 대한 학습 흥미 저하, 학생과 학부모의 신뢰 문제, 설비 부족 등의 문제를 더 심각하게 느끼고 있었다. 영역별로 분담지도하는 교사가 의사결정과정에 더 적극적으로 참여하고 있으며, 전담지도 교사보다 교과 운영 형태에 대해 더 만족하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 3) 교과 운영 형태에 대한 만족도는 주로 교과 운영 형태에 영향을 받으나 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 변인은 교과 운영 형태를 결정하는 의사결정과정에서의 참여정도에 대한 인식으로, 교과 운영 형태 자체보다 교사의 의사결정과정 참여가 교과 운영에 대한 만족도를 높일 수 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

The relationship between workplace violence, depression, burnout, subjective health status, job and life satisfaction of physical therapists in South Korea

  • Objective: To investigate the physical therapists' actual experience of workplace violence and examine its relationship with depression, burnout, subjective health status, and job and life satisfaction. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: The level of workplace violence was assessed using the Korean Workplace Violence Scale composed of 24 questions in the following 4 subscales of workplace violence. Depression was assessed using the Korean version of the Patient Health Questionnaire-9. Burnout was assessed using the Korean version of the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey, which is a 5-item scale. Subjective health status was measured on a 5-point scale. Job and life satisfaction was measured based on the assessment tool used in the World Values Survey. Results: There was a significant correlation between the three subscales of workplace violence and health indicators, including depression, subjective health status, job and life satisfaction (p<0.05). The organizational protective system subscale showed a significant negative correlation with depression and a positive correlation with subjective health status as well as job and life satisfaction (p<0.05). The area of 'psychological and sexual violence from customers' showed a significant moderate correlation with depression and job satisfaction (p<0.05). Also, there was a negative correlation that was significant between depression and subjective health status, job satisfaction, and life satisfaction (p<0.05). Conclusions: This study suggested that future studies should continue to investigate and reveal the causal relationships between workplace violence and physical therapists' health indicators.

치과 임플란트 시술 전·후의 구강보건행동 및 치료만족도 (Treatment satisfaction and oral health behavior of the before and after dental implanting treatment)

  • Objectives : In this study, for before/after dental implant surgery, our aim is to provide the basic data based on the decision of the treatment by measuring satisfaction of the treatment and finding out the intention to revisit a hospital and also by recommendation. Methods : We conducted the frequency analysis, a cross-tabulations, paired t-test and a correlation analysis of 146 data who had visited at 6 dental clinics and hospitals located in Daegu for dental implant surgery, with SPSS (PASW 18.0 for Windows, SPSS Inc, USA) to find out the satisfaction of the treatment before/after dental implant surgery. Results : The satisfaction related to before/after dental implant surgery of oral health was all statistically significant on a masticatory, social and psychological function, the satisfaction towards the treatment, the intention to revisit a hospital and also by recommendation. Independent variables explained the satisfaction of the treatment before/after dental implant surgery as 19.1% and indicated a significantly high value in general. Conclusions : The satisfaction was higher on satisfactory of the postoperative treatment than on satisfactory of the preoperative treatment in spite of these limitations. Therefore, the dental medical team should take into account dental implanting as a way which improves the satisfaction of the treatment related with oral health and have continuous managements and careful concerns.

119구급서비스 질 향상을 위한 이용자 만족도 분석 (Analysis of user's satisfaction for 119 emergency medical service quality improvement)

  • Purpose: The study aims to improve the quality of emergency medical services by surveying the user's satisfaction of 119 emergency medical services nationwide. Methods: From December 21 to December 27 each year from 2015 to 2017 a total of 5,889 people were surveyed by phone call in fire station. Results: The average degree of satisfaction with the emergency medical services was 4.17±0.70, with 85.1% respondents reporting being 'satisfied'. Factors like being a patient, injuries, residential area, and scene arrival time affected satisfaction. From 2015 to 2017, the satisfaction degree decreased every year, with factors affecting this results including "first aid guidance of phone call" and "rapidity of emergency medical services." The highest satisfaction factors were 'friendly acting of emergency medical services' and 'appropriate offer of emergency medical services', while the lowest satisfaction factors were 'first aid guidance of phone call' and 'adequacy of emergency medical team'. Conclusion: The quality of emergency medical services needs to be improved by managing the quality of phone call first aid guidance and the assignment of adequate emergency medical teams to increase user satisfaction.

The Effects of the senior staff's transformational and transactional leadership on life satisfaction for the 119 ambulance workers

  • 본 연구는 119구급대원 상사의 변혁적 리더십 및 거래적 리더십이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여, G도에서 근무하는 119구급대원 247명을 대상으로 설문조사 한 자료를 분석하였다. 다중회귀분석을 통하여, 삶의 만족도에 변혁적 리더십이 유의미한 양의 영향력을 보였으며, 거래적 리더십은 삶의 만족도에 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 연구 결과를 토대로, 119구급대원이 일상생활과 업무현장에서 인식하는 삶의 만족의 중요성을 인식하고 이를 증진시키기 위해 119센터장, 팀장 그리고 현장 선임들의 세심한 배려, 팀원에게 다양한 해결 방법 제시, 미래에 대한 비전 제시 등 변혁적 리더십을 발휘할 수 있는 환경 조성이 필요하다. 그렇게 함으로써 119구급대원의 삶의 만족도가 높아지고, 119구급대원의 잠재적 역량을 발휘할 수 있는 발판이 마련됨으로써 궁극적인 구급현장 응급처치 품질의 향상을 이룰 수 있을 것이다.

멘토링을 활용한 고교-대학 연계 프로그램 연구: 미디어정보통신 계열 학과의 경험을 중심으로 (A Study on Connected Program between High School and College Using Mentoring: Focus on Experiment of Information Technology Media)

  • 고등학생이 대학입학 전 본인의 관심분야의 전공수업을 첨단장비를 통해 미리 학습할 수 있는 고교-대학 연계 멘토링 프로그램이 대학에 개설되고 있다. 본 연구는 2013년도 경험을 분석한 기존 연구를 발전시켜 멘토링 프로그램을 추가하였고, 이를 활용하여 팀별로 학습할 수 있는 학습 프로그램 개발을 통해 2차년도 교육에 참여한 경험을 연구하였다. 실습 중심의 멘토링을 통해 고교생이 직접 실습 과제를 해결하고 결과물을 만들 수 있도록 유도하였다. 연구 결과, 1차 프로그램은 강의 진행에 관련된 부분과 관심도 증대 부분에서, 2차 프로그램은 체계적인 강의 진행과 일정 그리고 지식 발전의 향상과 추천 정도 영역에서 만족이 높았다. 팀 내에서 멘티들이 상호작용을 하고, 멘토들과 교류하며 함께 성장하는 것이 팀러닝이라고 평가하였다. 본 연구는 고교-대학 교육 프로그램의 지속적인 연구를 통해 고교생들에게 알맞는 프로그램을 개발하는데 큰 의의가 있었다.
