In the present paper we introduce and study L-pre-$T_0$-, L-pre-$T_1$-, L-pre-$T_2$ (L-pre-Hausdorff)-, L-pre-$T_3$ (L-pre-regularity)-, L-pre-$T_4$ (L-pre-normality)-, L-pre-strong-$T_3$-, L-pre-strong-$T_4$-, L-pre-$R_0$-, L-pre-$R_1$-separation axioms in (2, L)-topologies where L is a complete residuated lattice.Sometimes we need more conditions on L such as the completely distributive law or that the "$\bigwedge$" is distributive over arbitrary joins or the double negation law as we illustrate through this paper. As applications of our work the corresponding results(see[1,2]) are generalized and new consequences are obtained.
Let (${\Omega}$, $\mathcal{S}$, ${\mu}$) be a probabilistic measure space, ${\varepsilon}{\in}\mathbb{R}$, ${\delta}{\geq}0$, p > 0 be given numbers and let $P{\subset}\mathbb{R}$ be an open interval. We consider a class of functions $f:P{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$, satisfying the inequality $$f(EX){\leq}E(f{\circ}X)+{\varepsilon}E({\mid}X-EX{\mid}^p)+{\delta}$$ for each $\mathcal{S}$-measurable simple function $X:{\Omega}{\rightarrow}P$. We show that if additionally the set of values of ${\mu}$ is equal to [0, 1] then $f:P{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ satisfies the above condition if and only if $$f(tx+(1-t)y){\leq}tf(x)+(1-t)f(y)+{\varepsilon}[(1-t)^pt+t^p(1-t)]{\mid}x-y{\mid}^p+{\delta}$$ for $x,y{\in}P$, $t{\in}[0,1]$. We also prove some basic properties of such functions, e.g. the existence of subdifferentials, Hermite-Hadamard inequality.
Using (r, s)-preopen sets [14] and pre-${\omega}_t$-closures [6], a new kind of covering property $P^t_{({\omega}_r,s)}$-closedness is introduced in a bitopological space and several characterizations via filter bases, nets and grills [30] along with various properties of such concept are investigated. Two new types of cluster sets, namely pre-(${\omega}_r$, s)t-${\theta}_f$-cluster sets and (r, s)t-${\theta}_f$-precluster sets of functions and multifunctions between two bitopological spaces are introduced. Several properties of pre-(${\omega}_r$, s)t-${\theta}_f$-cluster sets are investigated and using the degeneracy of such cluster sets, some new characterizations of some separation axioms in topological spaces or in bitopological spaces are obtained. A sufficient condition for $P^t_{({\omega}_r,s)}$-closedness has also been established in terms of pre-(${\omega}_r$, s)t-${\theta}_f$-cluster sets.
The inelastic earthquake response of existing, reinforced concrete buildings with an open ground story, designed according to the old Greek codes, is investigated before and after their seismic strengthening with steel braces restricted to the open ground stories. The seismic performance evaluation is based on Part 3 of Eurocode 8 for assessment and retrofitting of buildings. Three and five-story, symmetric and non-symmetric buildings are subjected to a set of seven pairs of synthetic accelerograms, compatible with the design spectrum, and conclusions are drawn regarding the effectiveness of the strengthening solutions. Seismic behavior of the selected models confirms results of previous work regarding the insufficient capacity of the open ground stories for design level earthquakes. It is also shown that strengthening only the weak ground story, a choice having the substantial advantage of low cost and continued usage of the building during its seismic retrofitting, can remove the inherent weakness without shifting the problem to the stories above and thus making such buildings at least as strong as those without a weak first story. This partial strengthening is possible for symmetric as well as eccentric buildings, in which torsion plays a further detrimental role.
We employ the Galerkin method to solve the nonlinear Urysohn integral equation (1.1) x(t) = f(t) + $∫_{D}$ k(t, s, x(s))ds (t $\in$ D), where D is a bounded domain in $R^{d}$ , the function f and k are known and x is the solution to be determined. We assume that D has a locally Lipschitz boundary ([1, p. 67]). We can rewrite (1.1) in operator notation as x = f + Kx. We consider (1.1) as an operator equation on $L_{\infty$}$(D) and assume that K is defined on the closure $\Omega$ of a bounded open set $\Omega$ ⊂ $L_{\infty}$(D). Throughout our analysis we put the following assumptions on (1.1).(omitted)(1.1).(omitted)
IoT (Internet of Things) systems are based on heterogeneous hardware systems of different types of devices interconnected each other, ranging from miniaturized and low-power wireless sensor node to cloud servers. These IoT systems composed of heterogeneous hardware utilize data sets collected from a particular set of sensors or control designated actuators when needed using open APIs created through abstraction of devices' resources associated to service applications. However, previously existing IoT services have been usually developed based on vertical platforms, whose sharing and exchange of data is limited within each industry domain, for example, healthcare. Such problem is called 'data silo', and considered one of crucial issues to be solved for the success of establishing IoT ecosystems. Also, IoT services may need to dynamically organize their services according to the change of status of connected devices due to their mobility and dynamic network connectivity. We propose a way of dynamically composing IoT services under the concept of WoT (Web of Things) where heterogeneous devices across different industries are fully integrated into the Web. Our approach allows developers to create IoT services or mash them up in an efficient way using Web objects registered into multiple standardized horizontal IoT platforms where their resources are discoverable and accessible. A Web-based service composition tool is developed to evaluate the practical feasibility of our approach under real-world service development.
Purpose: This study examined the effects of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on the static balance ability of patients with back pain. Methods: The subjects comprised of 30 males and females in their 20s, who were divided into two groups with and without tDCS. The balance posture ratio score was calculated to determine the changes in balance ability before and after the application of tDCS using balance equipment. A paired t-test was conducted to determine the changes over time, and an independent t-test was performed to determine the changes between the groups. The significance level was set to ${\alpha}=0.05$. Results: A significant difference in the changes in the static balance ability of CTDCSG between before and after applying tDCS was observed while the subjects' eyes were open (p<0.05). A comparison between the groups after the experiments revealed significantly increased changes in CTDCSG compared to STDCSE (p<0.05). The changes in static balance ability were not significant when the subjects' eyes were closed (p>0.05). Conclusion: The application of tDCS positively changed the static balance ability of patients with back pain. The results of this study showed that tDCS could be used as an intervention to increase the static balance ability of patients with back pain in the clinical field. The study results could be used further as foundational data for future studies on tDCS.
