간접식 증발냉각장치의 성능예측과 에너지절약에 관한 연구 (Study on Performance Prediction and Energy Saving of Indirect Evaporative Cooling System)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간접식 증발냉각 장치의 성능을 예측하고, 장치를 공기조화기의 배기열 회수에 적용하였을 경우의 에너지 절약효과를 분석하는 것이다. 플라스틱 열교환기를 사용한 간접식 증발냉각장치의 성능 상관식을 여러가지 조건에서 얻어진 실험 데이터로부터 구하였으며, 이 상관식을 이용하여 환기와 외기의 조건을 변화시켜가면서 장치의 성능변화를 예측하였다. 또한 간접식 증발냉각장치의 배기열 회수에 의한 에너지 절약효과를 우리나라 몇개 도시의 표준기상데이터를 사용하여 분석하였다. 여름철 배기열 회수를 위한 현열냉각장치의 사용율은 평균 44.3%이며 증발냉각장치의 사용율은 96.7% 이다. 증발냉각장치의 배기열 회수에 의한 에너지 절약은 현열냉각장치에 비해서 훨씬 높으며, 서울의 경우 약 3.89 배로 나타났다.

  • In this paper, we proposed an algorithm for estimating parameters of nonlinear continuous-discrete state-space system. This algorithm uses the conventional extended Kalman filter(EKF) for estimating state variables, and modifies the recursive prediction error method for parameter estimation of the nonlinear system. Simulation results for both linear and nonlinear measurements under the environment of process and measurement noises show a convincing performance of the proposed algorithm.

  • 오존농도 메커니즘은 매우 복잡하고, 비선형성과 비정상성이 강하기 때문에 오존 예보시스템들은 많은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 특히 고농도 오존에 있어서 예측결과들이 성능이 좋지 않다. 본 논문은 뉴로-퍼지기법과 퍼지 클러스터링을 이용한 오존 예측시스템의 모델링 방법을 설명하고자 한다. GMDH의 전형적인 알고리즘에 기초한 동적 다항식 신경망은 데이터 분석, 비선형적이고 복잡한 시스템의 검증 그리고 동적 시스템의 예측을 위한 유용한 방법이다.

ADS-B based Trajectory Prediction and Conflict Detection for Air Traffic Management

  • The Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) system is a key component of CNS/ATM recommended by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as the next generation air traffic control system. ADS-B broadcasts identification, positional data, and operation information of an aircraft to other aircraft, ground vehicles and ground stations in the nearby region. This paper explores the ADS-B based trajectory prediction and the conflict detection algorithm. The multiple-model based trajectory prediction algorithm leads accurate predicted conflict probability at a future forecast time. We propose an efficient and accurate algorithm to calculate conflict probability based on approximation of the conflict zone by a set of blocks. The performance of proposed algorithms is demonstrated by a numerical simulation of two aircraft encounter scenarios.

  • Fire control system(FCS) errors can be classified as hardware errors, filter prediction errors, effective ballistic function errors, and aiming errors. Among these errors, the filter prediction errors are the most significant error sources. To reduce them, a target future position calculation method using the acceleration estimate is suggested and it is compared with the constant velocity target prediction method. Simulation results show that the suggested method has better performance than the constant velocity prediction method. Target tracking algorithm is established with multiple target tracking filters based on IMM structure.

  • It has been recognized that the escape facility planning is very important for effective evacuation of accupants on fire event. The ultimate goal of the escape facility planning is to evacuate occupants rapidly from building fires to the safe areas. In fire event, occupants usually gather, utilize and finally act upon information about state transient of building fire system, which is consisted of components of fire, building and accupant during the ralatively short period of the fire event. That is, occupants' egress behavior is largely dependent upon building fire system. Therefore, comprehensive study for the relationship between building fire system and occupants' egress behavior is needed. This study aims to suggest the pre -occupancy evaluation method of the life safety performance for the architectural design based on prediction of occupants' egress behavior during building fires with computer simulation.

  • Numerical prediction of propeller performance plays an important role in a marine propeller design process. Program developers are consistently trying to improve diminish predicted errors, and program users need to keep up with the latest ones with minimum expenditure of time and money. We have developed an internet based design system in which clients can design propellers with remote access. In this paper, optimized Internet based Propeller Design and Analysis System (iProDAS) for transferences of the massive data is presented, and a sample design using iProDAS is examined.

  • Recently, regulations of the government and concerns of people give rise to the interest in exhaust and intake noise of passenger car as much as other vehicles. In these demands, performance prediction software with hybrid method was developed at first. Secondly, robust design was used for improving the noise reduction capacity of intake system with the performance prediction software. On the basis of the existing design, length and radios of each component that was thought to effect on the capacity of intake system was selected. The factors were arranged by using L18 table of orthogonal array and optimum value was obtained.

At first factors are arranged by using $L_{18}$ table of orthogonal array and then optimum value can be obtained by $L_{16}$ table of orthogonal array.

  • 컴퓨터의 그래픽 연산장치인 GPU는 그래픽 데이터의 연산뿐만 아니라 일반시스템 데이터를 처리할 수 있도록 발전되었으며, 3D 그래픽 관련 알고리즘이나 병렬 실행이 가능한 코드에 대해서는 CPU 보다 우수한 성능을 보여주고 있다. CPU 기반으로 제작된 일반적인 알고리즘을 GPU에서 실행하기 위해서는, GPU 시스템의 아키텍처를 이해하고 병렬처리 능력과 새로운 메모리 구조를 고려하여 코드를 재작성하여야 한다. 이를 위해서는 알고리즘을 성능 예측 모델에 적용하여 GPU 시스템에서 예상되는 성능 예측이 필수적이다. 이를 통해 GPU 기반 어플리케이션 개발에서 발생할 수 있는 문제점들을 사전에 예측하고, 성능에 대한 평가 지표를 구성할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 AES 암호화 알고리즘에 성능예측 모델을 적용하여 작업량이 많은 조건하에서 높은 정확도로 성능 예측을 수행하였다.
