  • In this paper, we introduce a new hyper-chaos synchronization method called embedding synchronization using hyper-chaos consist of State-Controlled Cellular Neural Network (SC-CNN). We make a hyper-chaos circuit using SC-CNN with the n-double scroll. A hyper-chaos circuit is created by applying identical n-double scroll with weak coupled method to each cell. Hyper-chaos synchronization was achieved using embedding synchronization between the transmitter and receiver about each state variable in the SC-CNN.

  • Chuas circuit is a simple electronic network which exhibits a variety of bifurcation and attractors. The circuit consists of two capacitors, an inductor, a linear resistor, and a nonlinear resistor. In this paper, a transmitter and a receiver using two identical Chuas circuits are proposed and synchronizations of a equivalent wire and wireless power line are investigated. Since the synchronization of the equivalent wire and wireless system is impossible by coupled synchronization, theory having both the drive-response and the coupled synchronization is proposed. As a result, the chaos synchronization has delay characteristics in the equivalent wire and wireless transmission system caused by the line parameters L and C.

  • In this paper, we proposed that the synchronization and secure communication methods for build small world. In order to accomplish synchronization and secure communication in the small world, we used Chua’s oscillator which well represent the chaos dynamics and composed several stage with Chua’s oscillator by using coupled synchronization method. This paper shows a secure communication result in the small world network using coupled synchronizaton method.

  • The purpose of this paper is to design the architecture for synchronization of MB-OFDM UWB system that is being processed the standardization for Alt-PHY of WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) at IEEE802.15.3a and to analyze the implementation loss due to 4 parallel synchronization architecture for design or link margin. First an overview of the MB-OFDM UWB system based on IEEE802.15.3a Alt-PHY standard is described. The effects of non-ideal transmission conditions of the MB-OFDM UWB system including carrier frequency offset and sampling clock offset are analyzed to design a full digital architecture for synchronization. The synchronization architecture using 4-parallel structure is then proposed to consider the VLSI implementation including algorithms for carrier frequency offset and sampling clock offset to minimize the effects of synchronization errors. The overall performance degradation due to the proposed synchronization architecture is simulated to be with maximum 3.08 dB of the ideal receiver in maximum carrier frequency offset and sampling clock offset tolerance fir MB-OFDM UWB system.

  • This paper presents a deep learning based group synchronization that supports networked immersive interactions between remote users. The goal of group synchronization is to enable all participants to synchronously interact with others for increasing user presence Most previous methods focus on NTP-based clock synchronization to enhance time accuracy. Moving average filters are used to control media playout time on the synchronization server. As an example, the exponentially weighted moving average(EWMA) would be able to track and estimate accurate playout time if the changes in input data are not significant. However it needs more time to be stable for any given change over time due to codec and system loads or fluctuations in network status. To tackle this problem, this work proposes the Deep Group Synchronization(DeepGroupSync), a group synchronization based on deep learning that models important features from the data. This model consists of two Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU) layers and one fully-connected layer, which predicts an optimal playout time by utilizing the sequential playout delays. The experiments are conducted with an existing method that uses the EWMA and the proposed method that uses the DeepGroupSync. The results show that the proposed method are more robust against unpredictable or rapid network condition changes than the existing method.
